I’d totally recommend this place if you’re visiting Grand Teton National Park. The food is really authentic and nice. Hospitality was really good. Food is slightly pricey, but quality was nice. The menu has some good vegetarian options.

Google
Hands down one of the best momo places up north. As a Nepali, I can gladly say the momos taste just like from back home. The chowmein is also so good. The owner Mr. Sherpa is so humble and comes up to each customer to make sure they’re enjoying the food, atmosphere and service. Ask for the spicy red hot sauce if you dare!

Google
Legitimately one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We hiked Delta Lake Today and today was our splurge meal. It was a bit pricey but the service was great, food was excellent, the owner came out after our meal and wanted to ask us how we liked everything, he was so incredibly friendly. Could be the elevation, could be the 2 pale ales and the high from hiking but this was legitimately one of the greatest dinner experiences of my life. This is the kind of place that deserves success.

The food is delicious!! Forgot to take picture of Momo but it was 10/10.

Google
Cute restaurant a couple blocks from the main shopping area. We had the chicken Chow Mein and Tandoori chicken salad. The Chow Mein noodles were similar to long Ramen noodles. The salad was full of fresh spring greens and assorted veggies. The Tandoori chicken was very tasty. Everything was yummy. There service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable for Jackson Hole 😁.

Google
The food was very much authentic Indian with north-eastern touch and the taste was delicious. The best food we had in our entire Yellowstone-Grand Teton trip. The owner’s behaviour was so generous and he tried his beat to accommodate our big group in the best possible way. Perfect location in Jackson. I would suggest this place to anyone travelling to Grand Teton, for a sumptuous meal.

Google
Doesn't make sense to name the restaurant momo shack and then serve frozen momos that were pretty bland. The chowmein was also not good. For the price, taste and potion, I would not recommend the restaurant. After spending a good amount of money, we were still unsatisfied, so, we hopped on to another restaurant. The only good thing was the atmosphere. It was quiet and nice. Would recommend their Mango Lassi.

Google
Wowwww!! Didn’t even know that Jackson had Indian food, but on top of that, Everest Momo Shack is incredible!! I got the butter chicken with garlic naan and Thai iced tea. 100/10!! The owner was so sweet and from Nepal, made me and my friend feel so welcomed. You can get each dish as spicy as you’d like and they do not miss. 🌶️🌶️ Thank you for the experience. 🙏

Yelp
This is a go to for reasonably priced and great food in Jackson. If you're tired of all the fancy busy spots come to this relatively relaxed spot for good food and great service.

Yelp
Waited for 30 mins to get a seat and then another 60 minutes to get the food on our table. Frozen naan, Frozen Samosa, and decent curries. Don't waste your time on a vacation for this quality food.

Yelp
Positives - Solid Indian food in Jackson, order more as the portion sizes are small. The younger gentleman was very polite and treated us really well. Cons - The older man who also seems to be the host is blatantly racist. We were an Indian family of 4 and had dinner on 6/18 at around 7pm. As soon as we were seated , he came and plonked the silverware. When he came took our order, he asked us to order everything and told us that he'd refuse any further orders (including extra bread) due to "online orders" a whole 2 hours before closing time. When asked a question about a dish, he said "I don't know". We saw very similar behavior with an Indian couple too. His treatment of other parties was a stark contrast with friendly banter and utter hospitality. Hope this feedback reaches the nice waiter / owner who was nothing but polite and wonderful to our family. We left a note on our check too.

Yelp
Excellent local spot for a fun, casual and delicious Nepalese and Indian meal. I stopped in for a very quick bite so chose to get veggie samosas and steamed momo. I ordered their full portion of bison momo, which turned out to be really tasty. I love it dipped in the sauce. The food was all piping hot, and the dumplings were cooked well. I sat at the bar and the service was friendly and speedy!

Yelp
Food was great and fresh. The owner was back in the kitchen and I am guessing family member was a server. I ate here at least 3 times while in Jackson.

Yelp
This place always has a queue and for good reason the food is flavorful and you can tell the owner really cares what he is putting out. We ordered the bison steamed mono's , lamb curry and lamb thali. The lamb was tender and packed with spices. We loved both dishes. The bison was tasty. Also, I could have easily drank two bowls of the lentil soup.

Yelp
Solid food in Jackson!!! We have been twice and will definitely be back again. We love Nepalese/Indian food!

Yelp
Two words: Bison Momos! I knew I had to have them, and we lucked out as the Momo shack was super close to our hotel. I ordered 8 bison momos online and they were ready to pick up ahead of the stated time, which was perfect for us to swing by on our way back to our room. The momos were filled nicely, and the tomato dipping sauce was savory and delicious. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the dumpling wrapper itself was perfectly thin. The online ordering was super easy and convenient. I loved this late night snack, and even saved a few to eat cold, straight from the fridge the next day. They were just as good! I would love to try other items at Everest Momo Shack, but definitely more bison momos too. This is a small, family-owned spot that my local friend told me has random hours and is closed sometimes, so be sure to call ahead if you're craving some bison momos!

Yelp
Ambiance - 5/5 Food Quality - 5/5 Food Quantity - 5/5 Revisit again - 5/5 Staff Service - 5/5 Value for Money -5/5 Look no further , the only Indian/Nepali food in town and they know what they are doing! Delicious melt in the mouth Momos! We ordered their pan fried veggie momo and paneer saag with some papadum! Everything was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming. Cute interior and decor and it gets really busy!! After all they serve the most delicious food in town! A must visit when in Jackson hole you wont be disappointed for sure!! I just wish I had a bigger appetite to eat it all.Haha! Lastly my only request to the owners would be to introduce some daal rice in the menu its soul food and nepali daal is just delicious! Thank you for an amazing eve team Everest Momo.. great job to the entire team! Cheers!

Mary C.

Yelp
Such a sweet family owned restaurant. We didn't get any photos of the momos because we ate two orders to start and scarfed them down quickly. Everything was delicious, curries a little on the sweeter side for my personal liking but next time I'll just ask for less sweet & more spicy.

Yelp
This is some of the best Indian / Nepali food you will find. The owners are amazing chefs and their food is of the highest quality. We always get the steamed momos and the house specials!

Yelp
I went to Nepal a few years ago to climb around Mt Everest. Everest MoMo Shack Ed's a pleasant surprise to find in Jackson after going around Lake Jenny and sick of American cuisine on this long family trip. Service was excellent and food was clean and super tasty! Would come back again forsure if I ever am in area in future. Don't forget a mango lassi! Chicken momo 8/10 Bison momo 7/10 Butter chicken 9/10 Garlic butter naan 8/10

Yelp
The service is great, it's a tiny restaurant with limited seating. They have bar seating and tables. Love their collection of beers and wine. They have a limited but we'll curated menu. Tried their Deep fried veggie momos and they were amazing! The mutter paneer is also nice. You can't really go wrong with any item here. The staff is very responsive and attentive. They offer dine in and Togo. Highly recommend for momos.

Yelp
So many restaurants in Jackson do not live up to the reviews, but Everest MoMo shack was AMAZING! Great quality and flavors, worth every penny.
google avatar

Anita N.

Yelp
Amazing food, fresh and full of flavor. We ate here twice on our two day stay. Vegetable thali was filling, tasty, full of delicious flavor without being overpowering, and not heavy or creamy. Wonderful veggies and daal was good. Chicken thali was also delicious. Portions were good, shareable if you are not starving. Fresh and soft jasmine rice. Enjoyed the place and the people, thank you!

Yelp
A gem of a find in Jackson! I saw another Yelper rave about the bison momos months ago and knew I had to stop on my trip. It's a block or two off the main strip, so not as busy as the other eateries (although they were still busy when we stopped for takeout dinner!). + Chili bison momos -- sooo spicy and wonderful! + saag + garlic butter naan + local craft beer + the friendliest workers!
google avatar

Rach S.

Yelp
The food here is very good! We had naan, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, momos, and shrimp curry. The service and turnover Is quick. There is not enough staff here for the demand and the waitstaff is running around incredibly rushed. I enjoyed the food very much but the busyness of the wait staff did give me some anxiety. The restaurant is also very loud.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Bison MoMos are legit!!! Very delicious and a must try. Tandoori chow mein was very good, great flavor and not as greasy as most typical chowmeins. Super nice staff.

Yelp
Stopped here for a late lunch as I am a big fan of Indian and dumplings, or rather momos in this case. We were the only ones in the restaurant as we were there near 4pm which is when it opened. We ordered all three versions of the momos - bison, chicken, and vegetable. The chicken was my favorite but the bison was also delicious. I'm usually not a fan of vegetable dumplings but the vegetable Momo was great as it had a little hint of curry and reminded me of the filling in Samosas. The dipping sauce was delicious too. These were the best momos I've ever had. The butter chicken was not the best I've ever had but it was great nonetheless. The garlic naan was amazing and fresh. Overall, we got great and friendly service. This is a place that prides itself on making homemade and fresh momos. Come here for the incredible momos. Anything else you get will be secondary but still solid.

Yelp
The best Momo and the foods of Menu are so tasty that no one can imagine. Service is so fast and ambience is you feel like you are in Nepal and just try once than you will get to know. The best food in whole USA

Yelp
Delicious food, fast, attentive service, overall a great place. Pan-fried vegetable momo was fantastic!

Yelp
Great find, next to our hotel with good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Owner was very welcoming and has a great sense of humor. The food was tasty and a welcome change from the typical restaurants nearby.

Yelp
Despite a lengthy wait, the experience at the Nepalese restaurant was well worth it. The samosa, tandoori chicken chow mein and chicken curry were all exceptional. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. A testament to the restaurant's dedication to quality. Patience rewarded with a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for someone in Jackson, craving Indian/Nepalese cuisine.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was delicious, and the waitress was unbelievably good. This one woman had to run the whole show! Incredible food, awesome service.

S C.

Yelp
Rude and disrespectful. The "hostess" told us that she had no tables and she won't be able to take any take out orders. However just a minute after she said yes to a family of thirteen!! Skip and go to lovely Thai places in Jackson. You can see the sarcasm from the owner below instead of an apology. Disgusting
google avatar

Paulina D.

Yelp
If you're scrolling Yelp looking for a place for dinner tonight, drop what you're doing and head to Everest MoMo Shack. The momos, pan fried or steamed, are amazing. I could probably eat just momos every day for a week and not get sick of them. Because this is Jackson, a couple orders of momos adds up quick. However, I'll support cuisine that's not standard American fare any day.

Yelp
Came here after a 15 mile hike in the Tetons and man, it did not disappoint. We were starving! We ordered 2 vegetable momos and 1 chicken momo. Both were delicious but the sauce that came with it was amazing. I got the chicken curry with garlic naan, my friend and bf got the vegetable curry and the lamb thali. All were delicious and tasted so fresh. All the food was super hot, super flavorful and the best food we had in Jackson. The owner is super sweet and cheerful as well.

Yelp
We were craving for asian food and for some reason, most of the other asian restaurants are closed on Wed, but luckily for us, this was a good find! We arrived at around 7pm and the restaurant was packed, however we were seated outside after a 10 mins wait. They were definitely understaffed but the service was still great. Our orders were taken within 10 mins after we sat down. It did take a while for the food to be served but it was worth it. The momos were flavorful and i love the sauce that came with it (a must-order!). We also ordered the chicken chow mien - even though it was a little on the sweet side, it was good. Portion size was decent too. I will definitely be back the next time I'm back!

Bill M.

Yelp
Been to Bangalore 8 times and eaten amazing foods! I felt I was back there- foods are amazing and selections great. I highly recommend Everest Momo to anyone wanting a great reasonably priced dinner in Jackson Hole!

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp and I'm always a sucker for Nepali food since it's harder to find on the regular. The place was open only for takeout which was perfect because I prefer takeout during the pandemic. Bison Momos ($11.50) - super juicy! The bison is a little gamey and tastes similar to beef. The sauce for the momo was flavorful and light. I prefer eating them without the sauce because the momo itself is already flavorful. House special Chicken Thali ($19)- the portion was very small. There was only a few pieces of chicken (5) compared to large serving of rice and a side of veggies. Aside from the small portion, the chicken was tender. The sauce was so good, I wish it had more to go with the rice. Vegetable Lentil Soup - it was very flavorful and filling. It comes with the House Special. Overall, the food was good but the portion size needs to be adjusted considering their higher price point.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in Jackson. After living in the valley for a year and trying many restaurants, I'll argue that this is the best food in Jackson, and one of the more unique eateries. It has inspired me to write my first yelp review, and I constantly recommend this place to my friends. I live in Victor, ID. Tonight our table started with the fried Chili Bison Momos and the Tandoori Chicken salad. Fried BISON dumplings tossed in a rich tomato, onion, bell pepper, and of course chili pepper sauce is something I had never seen on a menu, and best believe it lived up to the hype I built in my head. Ever since the first time I tried them I salivate at the thought. The tandoori chicken salad was out of this world for several reasons. The chicken was not only seasoned perfectly, but was so incredibly tender and juicy. Thrown on the salad with the homemade ginger dressing? One of the best salads I've ever had by a MILE. Then we split the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Thali Platter, and the Chicken Chow Mein. All of these dishes could stand alone against the best Indian and Nepalese restaurants, and enjoying the mix of both Nepalese and Indian flavors makes dining here an unforgettable experience. As we were leaving I asked our server I could buy a Momo Shack hat, and she turned and asked the owner if they sold them. He looked at me and saw I was eyeing one sitting on the coatrack. Without hesitation he grabbed the hat and gave it to me and refused to let me pay for it. Everest Momo Shack is one of the finest establishments I've ever dined at. Customer for life!

Yelp
These people care. The food is excellent and the service is sincere and friendly. Not expensive and fast. The best meal I've had in Jackson.

Yelp
We ate at every worthwhile restaurant in Jackson. We didn't hold back. This one is the best when we eat out. Hands-down. Nothing else is as flavorful and filling and contented when you're done eating. Highest recommendation

Angel A.

Yelp
- food arrived after 1 hr and few minutes from the time we ordered - didn't receive one order of momos - extremely small portion of entree for $20 worth - chow mein had no flavor - Terrible service, waitress had an attitude towards our group (maybe because we are south Asians) - charged us default gratuity for table of 4 even thou menu advertises as 6 or more. We had to ask them to correct it - we left hungry and mad

Yelp
Everest MoMo is a quaint little place for getting your Nepalese / Indian food fix. Our service was very personable and the owner stopped by several times to check on us and chat. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Saag Paneer. The Tikka Masala was really outstanding and tasty. However, the Saag Paneer was a big let down. It didn't taste like authentic Saag Paneer on any level and was watery. I would advise against ordering this dish. Keep in mind that the prices are very high for the portion size, but that just maybe a Jackson Hole thing. I'm not a very big eater and even I felt we could have used a little more food, even though we ordered two entrees for the two of us.
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
Wow. The veggie momos are a hit. The staff is awesome and it is true Indian cuisine. We got the veggie momos to start (fried) and then chicken tikka and vindaloo curry. The vindaloo was so tasty and so was the chicken tikka. Just the right amount of spice. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine in jacksonhole, this is it!
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The Bison Momos were super tasty! I got the lamb Thali platter and my wife had the tandoori chicken chowmein. Both plates had plenty of food on it. We aren't big eaters, but still there was enough for two meals each. We have plenty of leftovers to take! Definitely recommend the lamb!
google avatar

Tyler S.

Yelp
Amazing momos and very authentic ! My kids 10 and 13 even enjoyed them! Reminded me of my own travels to Nepal the food is great !

K R.

Yelp
Great food! Had the Matter Paneer and veg noodles. Tasty and fresh. I'll be going back.

Arun M.

Yelp
My wife and I, both senior citizens,of went for dinner today . We were part of Fate 1 tour. They asked us to wait and we were first on line. After that a group of 4 came. They were also asked to wait. When table became available, we were bypassed and the table was given to the group of four. When we asked why it was done we were told we are two of us and we gave to wait and if we don't like we can leave. We were shocked. We have never experienced this service in US. We will never recommend this to anyone!

Pema K.

Yelp
I loved the food! And the customer service was also great because the owner personally came to talk to connect! Also because they spoke multiple languages so my parents were really happy seeing another native tongue! Most definitely recommend especially if you're Tibetan or Nepali
google avatar

Jordan L.

Yelp
Very yummy!! Not quite in the main heart of Jackson Hole which is actually nice because things slow down a bit on the outskirts. The food was great (served on paper plates.. maybe because of COVID). The garlic naan was SUPER garlic-y so maybe stick to the normal option. Very yummy and the portions were big enough to feed me for lunch the next day.

Janis A.

Yelp
Truly amazing food! Consistently delicious with many options. In a town full of many similar options, this restaurant will not disappoint.
google avatar

Desiree D.

Yelp
Food was delicious. The Bison MoMo's were so good and chicken tikka was as well. The garlic nan had just enough buttery garlic goodness. The only disappointment was the plastic cutlery and paper plates which detracted from the food.
google avatar

Catherine B.

Yelp
After a vacation of more burgers and pizza than I would like to eat in a month, this was easily the favorite meal. Service is quick and friendly. Bison Momos were a favorite. Loved the butter chicken--should've asked for more spice, but kept it mild for the kids. We ordered seconds because everyone loved it so much and ate it so heartily! Curries are clearly marked gluten-free. Big fan!
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Those chili momos are soooooo good! I think I ate a million of them.... Ok, maybe not a million. They had a bit of heat without being overwhelming. The texture was great, the flavor was great..... You should go get some, like right now.
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
Absolutely worth stopping by this restaurant! The dumplings were flavorful and tender, and the butter chicken was the best I've ever had in my life. The prices were very reasonable (relative to the rest of the prices in Jackson Hole). The staff was highly attentive, always making sure we had enough water and were enjoying our food. I would return to Jackson Hole just to eat at this restaurant again!
google avatar

Yush K.

Yelp
Great food at a decent price point! Momo are tasty! Butter chicken was absolutely amazing!

Ernest D.

Yelp
The food was tasty, albeit a bit expensive for what you get. I would normally have awarded the restaurant more stars but when we finished our meals and attempted to order their Nepalese/India Spiced Chai with desserts the waiter apologized and said "they were too busy to make chai". He told us the "owner" didn't want to make it but that we could come back in the afternoon when they weren't busy. We overheard two other tables trying to order chai as well. They were simply told "they were out of chai". For those familiar with Nepalese and Indian cuisine, masala (spiced) tea is a staple and something to be enjoyed with dessert. Needless to say we were very disappointed and didn't order dessert or other beverages. We also adjusted the tip to reflect the "lack" of service. To the owner, if you're not going to offer items because you're "too busy" you should remove the items from your menu or post a sign saying that certain items are unavailable before seating patrons.
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
Great food! If you want some Nepalese food and curries - this is the place!! They serve bison momo which I find so interesting - gotta try it. The owner and servers are nice but they are under staffed. This means if you have a flight to make or in a time crunch, be sure to ask them when the food will come out. We saw a few people leave because they waited to long for food. It took about 45 - 60 mins from when we sat to get our food so it's not fast service. If you're just chilling an wanting some good Asian food - definitely worth it. Hope to give this place more business because this was the best restaurant we've been too in Jackson + Yellowstone. Advice for the owner - all you need to do is hire more people: 1 more server and 1 more cook. Then you'll really make your customers happy!
