An interesting boathouse. The Everett parents though are very nice for serving is good at the regatta though. Overall the boat house is pretty regular.

What a beautiful facility. We were given a detailed tour from a passionate rower and rowing history buff. We were told that to get a lesson and maybe a chance to try our skills; show up on a Saturday morning and ask. My family and I are huge 'Boys in the Boat' fans and loved seeing historic wooden sculls up close.

This summer I took ERA's Learn to Row Class. The class was 3 days a week and 2 weeks long, but they offered to teach us for another 2 whole weeks for free! It was amazing. There were 16 adults in the class. We rowed in 8-man boats as a mixed-ages Co-Ed team. They started us on rowing 'urgs', machines in-door, teaching us basic rowing skills and all about the boats and the history of the ERA. They provided us with a coxswain coach in the boat and a support coach in a launch/boat along side us every time. We were rowing as a team (all 8 at a time) by the 3rd time out on the beautiful Snohomish River and it was incredible!!! The Coaches and staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and fun people. All the coaches rowed in high school and college. This place is top-rate. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm hooked!

Yelp
ERA has an incredible Juniors program and a VERY successful Masters team. The club draws rowers from across Snohomish County and boasts the only river course around. (ERA produces spectacular coxswains!!) The Snohomish River estuary is FULL of wildlife and there's a three-mile, dog-friendly walking path by the boathouse. The parent community is AMAZING. The Boosters manage an award-winning food trailer at traveling regattas - and I've heard they've got a coffee stand, too! Another neat thing about ERA is that it's full of boomerang-ers (kids who rowed as juniors come back to row as Masters, coaching staff were champion rowers at ERA and in college, etc.) It's the best deal around for a rowing club (1/3 the cost of other clubs in the region) and the community is unparalleled. It truly is a sport for all ages. Last I heard, members range in age from 12-83!!

Yelp
Amazing organization. Everett Rowing cares deeply about the sport of rowing & developing athletes to their fullest potential. Regardless of your ability there is a seat for you. The community & culture of the youth, masters & booster programs are definitely 5 star worthy. Highly recommend checking them out. Learn to rows & summer camps are perfect for that.

Yelp
Did the adult learn to row program at Everett Rowing Association. It was a challenge to learn all the new terms and the mechanics of it. The pros make this look very easy, but it's not. You have to work together in the boat to make it move. I loved the experience Noah was a good teacher. Anyone can do this. It's fun and I can see the connection that the people have to rowing and to each other. It's fun at any age.

Yelp
This is a great organization if your looking for a rowing club. If your novice, high schooler or a master rower they have programs for all levels. It was probably the best experience my son had in high school.

Yelp
Got a living social deal and took a learn to row class. I have wanted to do this forever and was happy to finally talk a friend into doing it with me. Class was 4 hours and pretty cheap. It seems this class is offered one saturday a month. We watched a video, used some indoor machines, had some snacks and took the boat out on water. Enjoyed learning about the history of the boat house. Instructors were super friendly and had lots of information to provide. It was a good way to spend a saturday morning. Carrying the boat was hard work and some of the terms took some getting used to, but it was fun to see the boat glide across the water. Glad I didnt fall in. I hope to make it back some time.
