Evergreen Sunday Farmer's Market is a true gem in the community! Every Sunday feels like a celebration of fresh, local goodness. The variety of stalls is fantastic—from farm-fresh produce and organic eggs to handmade breads, artisan cheeses, and locally sourced honey. There's also a great selection of flowers, plants, that make every visit special. The atmosphere is vibrant and family-friendly, with live music, food trucks, and smiling faces all around. It's clear the vendors are passionate about what they do, and they're always happy to chat, offer samples, or give cooking tips. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality. If you're looking for a relaxing, feel-good way to spend your Sunday while supporting local farmers and small businesses, Evergreen Farmer's Market is the place to be!

Beautiful place to shop fruits vegetables honey eggs variety of hummus breads pies etc. it looks like all the stalls are back after the pandemic. There are nice cafe, restaurants and other stores for a Sunday morning breakfast and shopping. There is also a nice water body just steps away from the farmers market. It’s a perfect place to have breakfast, take a walk and shop fresh produce.

We bought some orange, it is very juicy and sweet.

I love this farmers market. So much variety. They have baked goods, honey, eggs, fresh fish, flowers, all kinds of fruits and veggies. They have people there playing music, and today there was a Thai street food stall with very tasty food. Prices are all pretty great at most stalls. It's a fairly busy event, so be prepared for that. Bring a rolling cart of some kind if you can; a hefty bag at the very least.

Smaller than the other farmer's markets I've been to, so you do end up going to every stall. Today they had the thai street food, kettle corn stand, bread and egg stand, the pie stand and the honey stand for food and then the veggie and fruits stands. We sampled the bean and carrot pies and the thai tacos with chicken and chicken satay. The bean pies were sweet which was a bit unpleasant for me as I was expecting a savory flavor. The carrot pies was good. The thai tacos were interesting just a little dry. The satay and the peanut sauce were delicious. The fruits and veggies looked super fresh!! Ample place to sit and social distance except when you're shopping at the stalls. There is a little pond close by where you can also go if needed. Nice to have something close to home and will be back here, particularly if the food trucks come back!

Located in the center of a residential area, its a small market, but its location is what makes it cute, quaint and convenient, for visitors and the residents nearby. Yah. So I LOVE farmers markets. Could and probably would go to one everyday of the week, if one was close by and I could easily cook. But with only one working burner, cooking hasn't been much of a viable option these days. On this particular day, it was a well deserved break from the monotony I live in. A nice drive, a half day road trip just for a break. As stated, the market is located in the center of a residential area called Evergreen, the market vendors outline the park, which is a single one way circle, with retailers along its perimeter, including a Walmart. Surprisingly, that Walmart fits within the theme of the retailers. Surrounding the farmers market are apartment buildings and residences, its like its own little city, tucked away from the main thoroughfare. It's not a huge market, I'd say maybe about 15-20 market booths, an easy 20-35 minute walk, to see all the booths, if you don't linger too long at the booths. There was a variety of fruits and vegetables for sale which were more affordably priced, than prices found from several other markets Ive frequented in the east bay area. Parking is ample, free and easy. For a 30 minute impromptu drive on a Sunday, the trip was worth the getaway.

Vwry goid location & nice market available all types fruits & vegetables. Shopkeeprs good behaviour with customers is a nice thing. appreciated 👍

Google
There are a few food vendors, but most booths have what you’d most expect at a farmers market - fruit, vegetables, produce (eggs, nuts, dried fruit … ). People are friendly and prices are reasonable. Because tables are arranged singly around a square it may seem small but, truthfully, there are as many booths as I’ve seen at all but the largest markets. And I really like the fact that you needn’t wade through a crowd because people are spread out. Two thumbs up for this market!

Yelp
We stopped here last Sunday before meeting up with my sister. Loved the samples of juicy white and yellow peaches, clear skies, and the live band playing mellow music, like Ed Sheeran's Perfect. There were so many ladies walking/shopping in big hats who looked like clones of my mother, lol. No wonder it felt like home. We bought honey, spicy hummus, and delicious bean and sweet potato pies. The pie guy was so friendly and warm. Will return for pumpkin pies in the fall. The only negative is that prices are so high.

Yelp
It's a beautiful area, but there was only one organic stand (a berry stand) out of 25 vendors. Other reviewers have commented that there are 50% organic and 50% non-organic, but if you read the vendor signs carefully, you will notice that they state "locally grown." Locally grown is not the same as organic unfortunately. Again, it's a beautiful area, but if you want organic produce, you'll have to go elsewhere.

Yelp
This is the closest farmers' market to where I currently live, so this is the one I frequent, even though it's pretty small. I like that it is not only open on the weekend (Sundays) but also on Wednesdays. There are a lot fewer vendors on Wednesdays, but the strawberry guy is there on Wednesdays and that's enough for me to go! There's also a coffee around around the square where they set up the market stands, so you can grab a coffee and enjoy a leisurely loop around the farmers' market. What's nice about the market is that since it's so small it's not as crowded as other larger ones, so you can use a stroller and it wouldn't be too difficult to navigate.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite farmers markets! I love the environment - there is usually live music and it's not too packed. Parking is easy and there are many shops around. My favorite are the flowers! I love having fresh flowers in my home and the stand here never disappoints!

Yelp
EFM is a smaller but pretty cool farmers market located in the Evergreen Town Square. Long term Bay Area residents know there used to be nothing out here but farms for miles, but San Jose's growth has pretty much urbanized this whole area. The produce to food vendors is about 50/50 and the farmers and vendors are arrayed around the edge of the central park area. As such, there is plenty of room to move about. Add to that the number of eateries etc it makes for a pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning.

Yelp
Love the kettle corn here. Although it's a little pricey. $20 for a big bag :/ last us a few days though, so we'll be back :)

Yelp
I love to make it a point to visit all the farmers markets in the area. This one in particular is quite small, although I did visit on a Wednesday, so maybe it's a bit bigger on the weekend. They have fresh produce and bakery treats, and although I didn't buy anything this time they did look pretty darn tasty. They had a small bouquet stand, I would have loved it they had potted plants like other farmers markets! But, the flowers were very fragrant and sweet, I could smell them from a small distance away. I'll definitely return on a Sunday to see the turnout then!

Yelp
Love it. Sunshine day. Thai Street Food so good with great prices. $7 for 2-pieces chicken tacos, $3 for Thai iced tea, $6 for 3-orders of satay chicken on a stick, $10 basil chicken rice, and more. Must love these places, especially during Pandemic & high inflation times. Paid in cash. No taxes! Beautiful views all around Evergreen Village Square. Plenty of free parking during weekdays. Farmers Market here doesn't open everyday, so check online. Very small vendors. Not much here, but great for small bites and lunch break. $10 chowder soup can be found next to food stands. $3 bag mushrooms or 2 bags for $5 is a good and serious deal. Oranges are very sweet. Everything fresh. There's a lot to love for small community spots like this one. Singer onsite. Tip the singers if you can. Park has mainly elderly folks and mothers doing grocery shopping nearby. Peaceful and pleasant area. Yes, can find bakery items/breads/pastries here. Saw a seafood stand too. Whatever your needs are, this tiny Farmers Market location can surprise you. Bring more cash too!

Yelp
I've been to this farmers market several times. There's good produce here which is the only reason I go. I have an EBT card, and they have a service in the Farmers Market organization where they match here amount on your EBT card, something like that. Anyways the first time I used this service, I really liked it, and it helped me be able to buy more vegetables. But the second time I tried to use it, at the information table, there was a snotty young woman there who gave me attitude because I wasn't sure how it worked. As I was walking away, I caught her rolling her eyeballs at the man who was helped in front of me, who apparently knew all the ropes about it. That really turned me off and I haven't been back. since.

Yelp
I love my community farmer's market located at Evergreen Square! They operate every Wednesday and Sundays, rain or shine. Did I say Wednesday?!? That's what I really love about it because I'm off on Wednesdays lol. There is plenty of parking all around considering it is in a plaza with other shops and grocery stores. They offer plenty of fresh produce, including a variety of vegetables and fruit. They even sample out their fruits, which typically convinces me to buy several pounds. They also have Asian vegetables. I love how they carry a variety of Asian type leaves in a bundle that I typically cannot find at local Asian markets, and it usually changes weekly. Some examples include Bitter melon leaves, chayote leaves, pumpkin leaves for some of my favorite Filipino dishes. They also have a selection of flowers, pop fresh kettle corn, sell hummus, bean pies, sometimes they'll also have fresh seafood. They also have Thai food, and I'll be honest it is overpriced but it's worth a try at least once. Definitely family/kid friendly location with a library, a fountain, plenty of benches, a little lake off to the side, and many stores (restaurants, banks, grocery, cafe, salon etc). This farmers market is awesome! Check it out for yourself!

Yelp
IMHO This park-like "square" is a lovely place to host a farmer's market. Vendors set up around the square and space is precious and limited. During the summertime, more vendors squeeze in and the fruit selection is much better. Still, you can get quality, fresh veggies in the winter as well. Parking is tight around the square but you can always park in the outer lots behind the local businesses; Walmart, Edible Arrangements, Chase bank, restaurants, etc. We come here to buy from the huge selection of Chinese vegetables, and also to drop into the local Walmart grocery store. Prices may be a little cheaper at Walmart, but not so much that you can't support the local farming community. I prefer to support the farmers, unless they don't carry what I'm shopping for...like bananas. Besides the fruit and veggie tables, you'll also find vendors that sell fresh fish, crab, locally sourced honey, farm fresh eggs, glorious bunches of flowers (at great prices), musical entertainment, sweet potato pies, hummus & pita chips, Beekman breads & pastries, kettle corn popcorn, and Thai hot food. I wish they offered more hot food choices. This trip I did enjoy 3 chicken satay sticks for $4, served with a side of peanut dipping sauce. The chicken was good and hot, albeit slightly dry, but the dipping sauce was excellent. It made for the perfect snack. The fruit & veggie vendors offer plastic bags to collect their wares, but think about investing in mesh bags to cut down the use of plastic. Thank you!

Yelp
Located in the center of a residential area, its a small market, but its location is what makes it cute, quaint and convenient, for visitors and the residents nearby. Yah. So I LOVE farmers markets. Could and probably would go to one everyday of the week, if one was close by and I could easily cook and if I needed fresh veggies and fruits all the time. But I dont, so TRYING to move forward with MY life is actually more important, like getting a job for the first time in 13 years. But Im a walking hate target, because of the injustices I fought against & jealous haters who used their small mindedness to harass and provoke anger or frustration. The only purpose of these haters are to purposely provoke, get a reaction, to have a sense of power/control and for their sick ego. The worst, is the areas I have expertise in, are being blocked from me pursuing. Again, not love, but selfish hate. I only have one working burner, so cooking hasn't been much of a viable option these days. So frequenting the farmers market, is not necessary. Plus, it takes alot of gas to drive all over the place without having a job, and not being permitted to do so because of hate and selfishness, not love. Yelp
Farmers market I love my local farmers market. Depending on the season the vegetables and fruits will change, but the quality will remain the same. This farmers market at occasion has vendors that sell local honey, local eggs, homemade bean pies, hummus, and freshly picked flowers. Like all farmers market, timing is everything. Arriving early will get you the best and freshest produce but somewhat at a premium price. Arrive after 12:30pm, and you can find great deals but your choices will be the items that everyone has all ready skimmed over, which isn't necessarily bad. Most people will buy the more aesthetically eye appealing fruits and vegetables. If you are planning to cut up your vegetables, I guarantee the not so cute look veggies will taste just a great as the not so good looking veggies. I actually tend to go to the farmer's market the find the bean pie guy. (View my yelp review on him.)

Yelp
Perfect little Farmer's Market set up on Wednesday and Sunday of the week. Good variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. My favorite part of the market is Sunrise Nursery flower stand. There is always a beautiful selection of bouquets to choose from. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Please drive carefully if you decide to visit as a lot of pedestrians walk randomly between cars to cross instead of use the designated crosswalks.

Yelp
The farmers market here is smaller one but great stuff. All the veggies & fruits are fresh & reasonable. I loved the strawberries & oranges from this market... they are absolutely fresh & sweeeeet. Carry cash or have Venmo account. Most vendors accept credit cards but some are cash only. The breads collection is pretty gooood. Came here once & now I am here every Sunday.

Yelp
Cute farmers market in evergreen. Fresh veggies/fruits and some flowers for sale as well. I went with my aunt around 11 am but that might've been too late because it seemed pretty small. All the vendors are very friendly and majority of the stalls are cash only. Nice place to check out maybe we'll try going again earlier and see if there's more vendors earlier in the morning!
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming here. The atmosphere is great and it's clean. The Thai food is the best. I normally buy honey and other random produce. The fresh bouquets last a long time. Just like Miley Cyrus I buy my own flowers.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
I never buy anything here. Parents, maybe. Heck, they even car it even though it's a miles-stroll from our place. Unless there's some other happenings going on, they're pretty consistent setting up on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I tend to see the kettle corn stand here as well as a couple of acoustic players as entertainment. Ya know, the whole food truck thing even tried to move in on Saturdays a couple of years ago. Thankfully that didn't last and the Farmer's Market had a lot more staying prevalence than burrito-fusion/fry-fusion everything. The Square on its own is lovely on the other five days of the week, so now if Wed/Sat happens I take my dog here to socialize. Small real estate to shop, but plenty more to explore outside of the fountain area if you're not in a rush to get your produce home.

Devin B.

Yelp
I love this market (when I come early enough) the food is great and I also love that they have a few hot food vendors on site. The lines are pretty quick and it's a nice family friendly environment.

Yelp
A lot more vendors recently at this Farmers' Market and a good amount of them are certified organic! I decided to stop by on a beautiful Wednesday to grab some fresh summer fruit. I was in for a treat! I scored on peaches and nectarines for $1 per pound and super sweet berries (blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) that were 3 baskets for $6. The quality of the fruits and vegetables here are well worth their prices and then some. I'd grab fruit from here over Lucky/Walmart any day. They contain better flavors and are not chemically forced to ripen like the fruit/veg grocery stores carry. Really nice vendors wiling to let you sample their produce and are absolutely friendly, you can talk to them easily! The market is usually crowded both days, but there aren't many vendors on Wednesday. So glad to have this addition to the neighborhood around and ongoing. Bring an ecofriendly bag, cash, sunnies and smiles! Support local farms and incorporate fresh vegetables and fruit into your diet. It's a win-win situation going on here! :-)

Yelp
*3.5 stars* This farmers market is on the smaller side but still offers a good variety of everything. I met up with some friends here on a Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving. I managed to pick up some fresh strawberries and blueberries, hummus and pita chips, and pumpkin pie from the vendor that's known for his bean pies. Parking was fairly easy. I like the fact that this farmers market is conveniently located at the Evergreen Village Square. I was able to stop by the library right my son afterwards and stop by the coffee shop nearby for a quick hot chocolate break.

Yelp
Average amount of veggies @11am Pricier side of things Mind you it's February season Tomatoes in some vendors pricy Circled around and it's okay Bang for your buck ? ---- no
google avatar

Sarika S.

Yelp
The circular layout of the grounds here allow for a nice flow when shopping for fresh fruits & veggies. Because this is in a plaza, there is plenty of parking, you may have to drive around, but not for too long. A few of the fruit vendors provide samples of their fruit. Know that if you try it, you will probably love it and buy it! If you come towards the end, you can buy bags of prepacked fruits and veggies for cheaper. Might not all be the best quality, some soft/mushy, but not all are bad.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
It's the better one!' Super beautiful area to enjoy in south San Jose! The market has room actually to walk around as it's not as dense as some others around the bay. Fresh, organic produce and friendly vendors coupled with drinks , parking and mountains! It's pretty sweet! The blue berries by the pound were working for me!
google avatar

Tim Y.

Yelp
There aren't a lot of vendors (maybe around 10-15) here but you can get some fresh fruits and vegetables. It's nice to have the fruit samples so you know how things taste before you buy. There's plenty of parking along the "loop" and you have a lot of lunch choices if you're hungry. There's a vendor there that sells falafel sandwiches and salads or you could always go to Quiznos or Burrito Azteca. Don't forget the kettle corn!

Connie B.

Yelp
You will surely enjoy d organic fruits vegetables fresh baked bread pop corn fresh flowers healthy food good music

Yelp

Yelp
Evergreen Village Square is such a lovely location for a farmers' market! Every time I go, I ask myself why I don't go more often. The layout is perfect. Vendors surround a central area with a fountain and benches. Vendors are friendly and often have samples. There is a wide variety of quality produce including seasonal fruit and vegetables, nuts, honey, bread, eggs, flowers and more. I really like the kettle corn, too. There are some local eateries all within walking distance. It is a very nice place to spend a few hours. The market is open Wednesdays and Sundays.

Yelp
***************************** 1392 *************************** I love the Evergreen Farmers' Market on Wednesdays and Sundays, is a cool spot to visit. I come here from time to time, and there're always something new for me! You can find charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, coffee, pickles, preserves, fresh produces and fruits. Reasonable price points, support your local farmers and small business owners. I'm all for it. Parking can be tough on Sundays. I never have any problem, park half a mile away. Why lazy to walk when you actually want to eat healthier in the first place? Sometimes I jog from my parents place to here, 2.5 miles each, and walk back! Get your work out on and eating healthy! Sunday Funday!

Yelp
I haven't been to the Farmers' Market in a while but decided to swing by after grocery shopping at Walmart. They're both located at the Evergreen Village Square so finding parking was not a problem at all. This Farmers' Market is a little underwhelming and small but good enough for my mom. There are vendors for in-season fruits, veggies, hummus, honey, and even fresh seafood. Probably ~10-12 tents total. The prices are a little more steep than, say, Walmart's but you get what you pay for. The kettle-corn booth always seems to be popping. They give out free samples and I usually see people leaving with giant, cheshire cat smiles and bags of kettle corn in hand. My favorite is the flowers tent though. Their selection is limited, but the price is what gets me--$3/small bouquet. I was really hoping to catch the Falafel guy but I guess he only comes on Sunday now. Next time for sure! The Farmers' Market is definitely a great way to support local farmers and buy fresh produce...especially when there's a Walmart in the same plaza, which I am guilty of shopping at too. TIPS: BRING CASH & COME EARLY TO GET YOUR PICK!

Yelp
the world according to noelle, 2013 noelle's yelp notebook ----------------------- the quick details ----------------------- business: farmer's market parking: street and parking lot stroller friendly: yes restroom: inside local shops surrounding farmer's market family friendly: yes noelle's favorites: the beautiful flowers Evergreen's Farmer's Market is small. They have a good selection of fruits and veggies. One will also find flowers, kettle corn and roti chicken. Picked up some delicious hummus and garlic chips. I like this farmer's market but wish there were more vendors to add some diversity for my shopping needs. Worth the stop if you're already in the area (wouldn't go out of my way to shop here).

Yelp
I was on a search for a pumpkin pie and found a local man selling pies 'Raoof's San Jose Bean Pie@ Evergreen Farmers Market, I came out buying more than a pie. The stands surround the middle of the evergreen village, such a convinient way to shop. The kettle popcorn is a must try, better than the movie popcorn and without the oily fingers. Next to the kettle pop, i found a lady selling toasted peanuts, one of my fav. Snacks besides the yummy snack you can find organic eggs, honey, fruits, vegetables and many more.. i would definitely be a returning customer to get my pumpkin pies and goodie snacks!

Yelp
So much people at this place!! I love coming here because I always end up finding one thing I'm really excited about and this time, it was whole fresh walnuts! It's a great location in the middle of the plaza square with abundant parking as well as a water fountain for children to play by. Flowers are also cheap here, $3 or $7 a bunch, vegetables are mostly $1 a bunch, as well as 2$ lb fruits (the nectarines and pluots are in season now!). There's also a bread stand, eggs, honey, pies, kettle corn, hummus, as well as salsa to buy! There is even a Thai food stand with ready to eat food A tip is coming around 12-1; you might get the leftovers but trust me, they are worth the prices!

Yelp
One of our faves! It's a small farmer's market, but the selection is solid and the produce quality high. The vendors are consistent and always friendly and generous with their samples. There is always plenty of parking as the Walmart Neighborhood Market is adjacent. Our favorite vendor is Lujan Farms -- the fruit is almost always $1/lb!! We'll buy bags and bags of large white crispy peaches with hints of sweetness, juicy pluots, and nectarines. As other reviewers mention, come early before it gets hot and my Asian peeps have picked over the best fruits. The prices are much more affordable than the market in Campbell's. Other items: yummy berries, fresh eggs (~$4 a dozen), honey, bean pie!, kettle corn, thai food, greek food, orchids, hummus, bread, and a nice variety of vegetables too. The options are better than those of Walmart's but you can always supplement your groceries with the store. Plus you can get cash back. Note: ignore the restaurants/shops. The boba place sucks and the Mexican food here is very blah.
google avatar

Yelp
Lots of fresh produce here! However not many things to eat except maybe the Thai set up. Awesome kettle corn! Everyone is so friendly. Nice area too
google avatar

Yelp
I love going to the EFM after church on Sundays. The produce is always fresh and the Thai tacos are out of this world delicious. The flavored honeys sold here are also delicious and so unique.

Yelp
Recently I've gotten the urge to go to farmers market on Sundays. Something about getting out in the sun picking out some flowers and trying new food sounds so appealing to me. This Farmers market has it all! yummy food, amazing fresh fruits and vegies and beautiful flowers!
google avatar

Yelp
Every Wednesday and Sunday morning until 1pm, right in the middle of Evergreen Square, you can find stand after stand of fresh vegetables and fruits. And what's a Farmer's Market without kettle corn? At one stand you can get a bag of oranges for $4, and at another you can get little baskets of berries for $4.50. Support your local farmers! They also have a stand for gyros and falafels if you're hungry. It's a great place to be when the weather is great. If you get tired, sit down on a bench and take in the sun.

Yelp
What a terrific neighborhood market. I am so jealous! I wish we had one like this near my house.

Yelp
I went to this farmer's market quite frequently during the summer. I usually went Wednesday mornings. They're there from like 9am - 1pm I think. Or somewhere around that time. My favorite stop is the kettle corn guy! A little over priced, but really good! He gives free samples! :) I also like the guy that sells flowers. A bouquet is pretty cheap compared to buying one from the store. He has a beautiful assortment of flowers. I like buying the sunflowers! I think a bundle is like $3. My mom likes to buy her kale here from this one lady. Her fruits and veggies are all organic. They sell 3 types of kale and all are pretty big in comparison to the ones you buy at Whole Foods. Since my mom is a frequent, the lady sells it to her 3 bunches for $5! Pretty good deal! TIP: come early to get first dibs on fresh and big veggies and fruits! During the summer you can find my mom in the crowds with a bunch of other people picking at the grape tomatoes lol. Also bring CASH! A majority of these vendors are cash only. Luckily there's some banks around the area. Parking can be kind of hard too, but you can park at the back of Walmart if you can't find street parking.

Omg. The Thai street food is horrible in taste and quality. My chicken skewers were dry and over seasoned... Thai ice tea, how do you fail at that? Other than that nice environment for the farmers market. Says no dogs but who let the dogs out. Limited fruit variety.

Yelp
I love going to this farmers market! This market has a great variety of organic produce from local farmers. It not only has great seasonal fruits and vegetables but also varieties of mushrooms, local fresh eggs ( duck, quail and chicken) and Asian vegetables. You can't beat the prices. Organic seasonal fruits are only $2 per pound. I also love the berries when in season. This market also has flower stands, a bread stand, hummus stand, a pie stand, as well as street food. Since there is a Walmart grocery across the street, it makes for one stop shopping. Very convenient. Great neighborhood farmers market. Very grateful to have it so close!

Yelp
The Evergreen Farmer's Market was smaller than I anticipated but there's still a lot of goodies for everyone. -Organic produce and fruits, support your local farmers! -Flower bundles, $3 a bunch. Decorate your house or buy just because flowers :) -Hummus, yes, definitely better than the store bought ones! Jalapeno Cilantro or Avacado - yum! -Thai snacks and treats or Mediterranean wraps (Haven't gotten a chance to try them but they smelled soooo good! -Kettle Corn - perfect for the kids or a snack! -Desserts - there's a booth for homemade pies and cupcakes (Again, I didn't get to try because I'm on a diet at the moment). It's in a beautiful location perfect for a stroll, to take the dogs out, and there's several shops nearby as well as Walgreens and Wal-Mart!

Yelp
We have been noticing banners of the Evergreen Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Sundays from 9am - 1pm, but never got the chance to come here until recently. I thought parking was going to be a pain, but there were multiple parking spaces available in and around the Evergreen Village Square. On a Sunday, the place was bustling with people walking around buying fruits/veggies from the farmers, trying out the different food samples, kids playing near the fountain, etc. The vibrant energy in the air was addictive. My parents and in-laws went on a spree when they saw all the fresh fruits and veggies being beautifully displayed. The vendors generously give fruit samples, so that gave us an opportunity to try different varities of fruits before buying them. There are also other vendors selling pies, cakes, flowers, hummus, kettle corn. We sampled the hummus and it was real good! Definitely a nice place to stroll by and spend an hour or so when you are bored on a Sunday morning! We came back to the car with our bags full of fruits and veggies! Tips: - Most of the vendors accept only cash (Chase, BOFA are nearby, so that's good) - They are certainly a tad more expensive than buying from other grocery stores - Bring your re-usable bags (the vendors have small plastic bags), but you will need a bigger re-usable bag to carry all of the things that you buy

Yelp
Lot of stuff to buy. If you are out of grocery and don't want to go too far then this is the perfect place for that. The only cons is that the veggies don't stay good for very long. I believe they are fresh so you have to cook them the same week. They will go bad if you keep them for long. I love the flavored nuts and bread/bread spread booth. Always my favorite. Since you are paying for everything in cash, there is a scope for bargaining too which totally depend on your skills. There is flower booth too, great opportunity for flower lovers. In order to utilize your trip arrive early otherwise most of the good and popular stuff anyways goes out of stock.

Yelp
Cute little farmers market in Evergreen. Not to crowded..not to pricey. And the best part are the delicious hand held food from the South American tamales to the Thai skewers..

Yelp
My favorite farmer's market in the area! It's not huge, but it's just enough. They're open every weds & sunday. They have live music, fresh flowers, most bunches are only $3 (except for the roses), all sorts of veggies and fruits, and I love the lil bread stand.. I always have to get the jalapeno cheese foccacia whenever I'm here. So fresh & delicious! I also loved their Gold Rush Kettle corn, but I guess now they have Kettle Pop, which is just as good. Make sure to bring your cash-monies! There is a BofA atm right around the corner of the cafe. I love the rich people fancy plaza as well. Oh, & the last hour or 30 mins before they close, they usually have 50% off their fruits. ;)

Yelp
We went two weeks ago. I thought it would be a little bigger, but the market unfortunately only takes up half of the parking lot. I guess the customers had to park somewhere. Some how I thought people would park in the n neighborhood and walk. o well. At the time that we went parking was not an issue, there were a couple of spots open here and there, and this was around 12:00. The strawberries from the first stall was awsome, the sweetest this season. There is also a very nice father/daughter team selling lox, and smoked salmon everything. Even salmon jerky. The lox were fantastic, we'll be going back to try the dill and lemon pepper ones. Apparently these two are the hi-lights of the place. Hopefully this farmers market can grow, especially since it's so close by.
