One dish was so watery it looked like soup and the rice was mush. The rest of the meals were mediocre at best. 3 out of 7 of us ended up with bad stomach aches and one started vomiting in the night. We won’t be back again. Which is disappointing because they used to be good.

With great reviews, I decided to give Evergreen a chance. The staff was nice. Our order was plain lo mein & sweet-&-sour chicken. My dish was chock full of soy sauce. All I tasted was salt. The chicken didn't come out well either. When I got home, I toweled off the excess soy sauce. I added tofu, to try to get the noodles to be tasty. it didn't work. I won't be returning.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't order from here again. The service was pretty good, but the quality of the chicken was definitely lacking. Easy to order online and priced fairly, I had high hopes for this spot! Sauce is light and the majority of the chicken is dark meat

The food is amazing. This is how shrimp egg foo young looks when made fresh. And the vegetables are crisp. This is my go to place when I want good quality Chinese food

I LOVE Sesame Chicken, only downfall there were no pineapple chunks. I use to be a faithful customer of the other restaurant on Virginia Ave (if you know, you know) but they’re dirty more and more I go in there. Food is not as good as it use to be. THIS restaurant however is my new go to place!! Clean, nice employees and clean restroom… the cleanliness means a lot. Especially in food industry!

Best Chinese restaurant to me here in Hagerstown area 💯 service is great and the food is a plus 🙌🏾my favorite is the Orange chicken White rice and House Special Lo-mein 🙌🏾The best and I highly recommend you to eat from here 💯

Ordered pickup, shrimp lo mein is wonderful! The egg rolls were crispy and good and not greasy! Loved that we got chopsticks and fortune cookies for the whole family!! Chicken fried rice is satisfying and tasty. Might want to order double! 😂 Nice family and order was ready in 20 minutes! Convenient location for those in Williamsport!!!

Amazing service with delicious food!!! We had the broccoli chicken with white rice, chicken lo mein and fried wontons. Everything was so fresh. Haven’t had this experience in a while. Our new favorite!!

We usually get take out and the food is always good and fresh! It is reasonably priced with good sized portions. We always have leftovers. The staff is always friendly and it is ready in the time frame given for pick up.

We never had issues with the food or staff in 15 years of ordering from Evergreen. Love this place but, just not happy about having to tip!

Although they do not deliver (that I'm aware of)....this place is the BEST I've found across Hagerstown. I don't mind going to pick up the order as long as it's delicious. I have never been disappointed, I don't think you will be either. The staff are very attentive and very welcoming. If any errors are made they are not combative (like some other places I've visited in Hagerstown). The tables and interior are clean, not a huge amount of space but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. AND...I can actually see my food being prepared so it's 5-stars for me.

Delicious lunch of orange chicken, rice and egg roll. Classic lunch combo for about $8. It was spot on. The location is carry out only and it's next to a closed grocery in a very large parking lot. It's a nice new find.

What a great find! We truly enjoyed our meals. Good portion sizes. Quick and easy service!! Only negative would be the spring rolls are TINY with not much filling, especially for the price, I would expect 2.

When they say Best in Hagerstown, believe them!!! I've been looking for months (since I moved to Shepherdstown, WV) for excellent Shrimp Egg Foo Young and so disappointed at all I tried from Martinsburg to Charlestown and finally found it here!!!

I eat here about once a week. I absolutely love that they offer online ordering, which makes ordering very convenient for me. My orders are always correct, and the food I have gotten is always good. My favorite things to order are the shrimp rice noodles, fried rice, lo mein, szechuan shrimp, and orange chicken. I love that they offer combination platters where you can get a meal served with an egg roll, spring roll, cheese wonton or soda, and your choice of fried or steamed rice. My favorite combination platter is shrimp lo mein with fried rice and a spring roll. I also love how close this place is to my house. It is within a 5 minute driving distance and directly within my daily route, so I often pick up food on my way home from work.

Everything I've tried there has been tasty. Great service, food is always fresh. the veggies are juicy and they snap in your mouth

Don't let the odd location deter you. Food is incredible, prices and service are great. A hidden gem.

This is a quiet little place with a nice staff. I'm a vegetarian so the tofu is my main staple. So far my favorite is General Tso Tofu. Generous serving and plenty of sauce. I love their steamed rice also, doesn't

My boyfriend is a chinese food junkie, so i am always ordering from this location online (love that option!!! no talking to people at all!!!) Food is always good, nice portions and not too expensive, the spring rolls are the best thing that they have on the menu, i could eat like 50 of those suckers. and they always come in nice little tupperware cartons so FREE TUPPERWARE FOR ME!! Staff is friendly too. And if you go pick up, you get to choose how much duck sauce, soy sauce, mustard, fortune cookies, etc that you want because they have tons of it sitting by the counter up for grabs. just make sure you ask for chopsticks! ;)

This place is ok. I'm a China 88 regular and decided to come here. The food is meh. Better then some places in town but not China 88. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I went in and placed my order in person. I ordered Hunan tofu. Ended up with chicken. I asked for the cheese wontons as it was promised to me they did my have shrimp... They did... Portion got the lunch was small but ok. I guess I'm used to China 88. All in all, the food was ok. Nothing to write home to mom about.

I just moved to area and was looking for a great Chinese restaurant that would have good quality food, great service, and that wasn't too expensive. I was excited that this place wasn't far from us. But was totally disappointed by the food. We ordered combination lo- mein and there was hardly any meat in it, was really greasy and had hair in it. We also ordered general tsos chicken which tasted like sweet fried dough. Can't believe that they were chinchy with their meat like that. I would've rated much lower but they did have the food ready pretty quick and were nice and also offered a free soda with purchase. But unfortunately we will not be coming back there nor recommending this establishment.

This food gave me the worst diarrhea that I have ever had in my life! I won't be back!

I ordered General Tso Shrimp. The shrimp is breaded and sucks up the sauce to make one big clump of mush. This should never be breaded. Bet the shrimp is frozen and not breaded there. When i tried to put it on my plate it fell out in one big clump. Couldnt eat it. I called, the girl said if it sets for 2 hours it will become soggy. I was eating it with in 10 min. Would not refund my $10.95 or offer something else. We eat there about dozen or so times a year and wont go back.beware if you have a problem with there food you wont be taken care of.

Best Chinese food around, by far. Rice is great ! Not yellow like most Chinese restaurants. Eat here alot and never a bad experience. Recommend highly.

We do take out here quite often. I love their soups, especially the egg drop with wontons in it. General tsos is very good, sesame shrimp, Dragon & Phoenix, and most of their chef specials are tasty. I love their fried dumplings. I do not recommend their honey shrimp, it's soggy and not much flavor. When we order a large amount they give us a free 2 liter. The staff is friendly and I have never had to wait long. I also love their online order option. It works very well. Much easier than trying to do it over the phone. They do deliver, but we are only 5 mins down the road and it's considered too far. I can't quite figure out the rationale behind that, but it's their policy.

Bottom line up front: Best Chinese delivery food in the area! We get delivery from here several times a month and are rarely (if ever) disappointed. Our goto items on the menu are egg drop soup (with or without wantons), cheese wantons, General Taos chicken, and Sesame chicken. The fried rice with pork is cooked well and has great flavor. If rice is not your thing you can get the noodles for a small up charge and they are they good as well. Overall this is a typical Chinese delivery place with food that is above average. I would recommend!

Love this place! They are very friendly, the food is great, and the portions are large. Take out and delivery are always quick and the food is always fresh.

Chicken tastes like it's soaked in ammonia and the shrimp like chlorine... Rice isn't that great. There is MSG in their food my husband has epilepsy he had a seizure after their food he rarely has seizures and are always food triggered. They can be triggered by MSG and a few other toxic ingredients. Poor quality food... Pass up this place if you have taste buds.

Standard Chinese carry out fare done better than most. Great deal on lunch special. They do have 5 tables if you decide to eat in. Strip shopping center store front.
