I have been a regular Everlane customer for years due to the quality and simplicity of their clothing. This Christmas their carrier lost a shipment I placed on December 3rd. When I reached out to customer service to ask for assistance they told me to wait two additional weeks. I did, and when I still didn't receive the package reached out again. They did not address my concerns or offer me anything but a new order that will now take several more weeks to arrive. I understand it's a busy time but this resolution was really unkind when something could have been done proactively. Will be taking my business to a company with better customer care.

This is a review of the San Fran store, not the brand in general. I LOVE Everlane and have purchased several items. I was excited to be in San Fran and able to visit the store...but I was sorely disappointed. The inventory was hugely lacking! Either sold out or just not in stock on so many items. I was hoping to try some of the silk blouses as I've had issues with sizing on Everlane tops but there wasn't a single in stock. I did end up buying a few things thinking I could ship them home - nope! If I wanted to ship my purchases, I'd have to find a post office. The shoes (thing I most hoped to ship) were in a color only available in the store. Funny that a brand which focuses on web-sales won't ship from store. Had I known that the inventory was so limited, I'd never have battled traffic for the trip into the store. Perhaps some better explanation of what's stocked on the web site description would be helpful.

I received my order literally the day before everything on the site went on sale for 25% off. After waiting over 3 full days for a response, theyre refusing to adjust the price, and told me to return my order, and to reorder the same thing on the site at the sale price. How is this good for the environment? How is this helpful for the customer when I already have the items I want? My size is also now old out, too. It’s also really sad to see that they let go of their entire customer service team. No wonder it took them so long to respond to my email. I’m done with this brand.

If I could give Everlane a zero, I would. My husband wanted their trainers so I ordered them for Christmas along with a birthday gift for my sister. They use the cheapest shipper so the package could not be tracked and after a month of waiting, deemed to be lost. What I originally ordered was out of stock so I had to wait to get refunded and place another order for the court shoes. When they arrived 2 weeks later, they sent 2 different sizes. Customer service said, ooops, sorry, we don’t have those anymore. You can ship those back now. They didn’t care one iota and didn’t take responsibility for ALL their mistakes. This will be my last Everlane purchase and I didn’t even get anything!

I wanted to try a few sizes before buying online so I could avoid shipping returns and exchanges back and forth, however there was nothing in my size in the store. I loved the idea of an experimental lab, but perhaps they should keep samples for trying on rather than running it like a regular store. Not unpleasant, but a disappointing trip for me.

Definitely a lab and the actual inventory on the website. I love Everlane and am happy I can return items in person here if they don't work out. The staff was really helpful, and it was nice to feel some of the pieces I had seen online and was debating purchasing. It's important to note you cannot purchase denim at this location, but they keep a full size run so you can try them on and order online.

Popped by on a Sunday afternoon and the showroom was packed! Quite a number of popular sizes for certain clothing items weren't available to try on and purchase, but they do offer free delivery if you place an order on their website while in-store.

Problematic to do business with these folks. Ordered shoes, didn't have an overt alert they were out of stock when I was considering ordering them. Then they charge you for the order even though they can't ship the item (not appropriate). Then you try to call them to discuss-NO customer service phone number, all by email. (They do get back to you quickly in email though). I will avoid this group until they change the policy for charging you for items they haven't shipped to you.
