As many others have written, I used to be an Everlane devotee. I appreciated their commitment to sustainability, transparency, and quality. Unfortunately the customer service ruins it completely and has made me determined to never shop there again and warn all my friends about the same.
I ordered a few items for Christmas this year. 12 days later, have not received anything. They use the cheapest delivery service, so that tracking showed multiple attempts with delivery failed due to PO Box even though there’s zero PO Box in my address. Contacted Everlane and they gave me the run around. They have zero phone service, only chat, and they just leave the chat after telling you they can’t help. Still don’t have my items or an answer. They said they would have a manager email me…
Also had an issue where items that showed in stock on website and that I was able to order online ended up not being available - after I placed my order, I got an email that there had been a mistake and I wouldn’t be receiving these. So now you can’t even trust that if you order something online you’ll actually get it, and still be charged for shipping!
Mind you, when I had a smaller delivery issue with Madewell, they resolved it IMMEDIATELY over the phone, and even made my situation better. Guess I know where I’ll shop from now on… and it’s not Everlane.
