"Everdene is a new rooftop bar located atop the Virgin Hotels SF in San Francisco, offering sweeping views from Twin Peaks to downtown. As many others have written, I used to be an Everlane devotee. I appreciated their commitment to sustainability, transparency, and quality. Unfortunately the customer service ruins it completely and has made me determined to never shop there again and warn all my friends about the same. I ordered a few items for Christmas this year. 12 days later, have not received anything. They use the cheapest delivery service, so that tracking showed multiple attempts with delivery failed due to PO Box even though there’s zero PO Box in my address. Contacted Everlane and they gave me the run around. They have zero phone service, only chat, and they just leave the chat after telling you they can’t help. Still don’t have my items or an answer. They said they would have a manager email me… Also had an issue where items that showed in stock on website and that I was able to order online ended up not being available - after I placed my order, I got an email that there had been a mistake and I wouldn’t be receiving these. So now you can’t even trust that if you order something online you’ll actually get it, and still be charged for shipping! Mind you, when I had a smaller delivery issue with Madewell, they resolved it IMMEDIATELY over the phone, and even made my situation better. Guess I know where I’ll shop from now on… and it’s not Everlane.

I’ve been a customer of Everlane from early on, when you could only shop online. I loved the transparency and information about their pricing and manufacturers. I don’t see the Price transparency much on their website anymore, which is disappointing. They also appear to have changed the review format. Reviews used to give more information. Reviewers could note usual size and size bought, as well as height/weight… ranges. I found this information, very helpful when placing an order for myself. I used the data and others reviews to determine proper sizing for myself. This resulted in fewer returns. I find myself shopping at Everlane less these days.

I have been a regular Everlane customer for years due to the quality and simplicity of their clothing. This Christmas their carrier lost a shipment I placed on December 3rd. When I reached out to customer service to ask for assistance they told me to wait two additional weeks. I did, and when I still didn't receive the package reached out again. They did not address my concerns or offer me anything but a new order that will now take several more weeks to arrive. I understand it's a busy time but this resolution was really unkind when something could have been done proactively. Will be taking my business to a company with better customer care.

This is a review of the San Fran store, not the brand in general. I LOVE Everlane and have purchased several items. I was excited to be in San Fran and able to visit the store...but I was sorely disappointed. The inventory was hugely lacking! Either sold out or just not in stock on so many items. I was hoping to try some of the silk blouses as I've had issues with sizing on Everlane tops but there wasn't a single in stock. I did end up buying a few things thinking I could ship them home - nope! If I wanted to ship my purchases, I'd have to find a post office. The shoes (thing I most hoped to ship) were in a color only available in the store. Funny that a brand which focuses on web-sales won't ship from store. Had I known that the inventory was so limited, I'd never have battled traffic for the trip into the store. Perhaps some better explanation of what's stocked on the web site description would be helpful.

I received my order literally the day before everything on the site went on sale for 25% off. After waiting over 3 full days for a response, theyre refusing to adjust the price, and told me to return my order, and to reorder the same thing on the site at the sale price. How is this good for the environment? How is this helpful for the customer when I already have the items I want? My size is also now old out, too. It’s also really sad to see that they let go of their entire customer service team. No wonder it took them so long to respond to my email. I’m done with this brand.

If I could give Everlane a zero, I would. My husband wanted their trainers so I ordered them for Christmas along with a birthday gift for my sister. They use the cheapest shipper so the package could not be tracked and after a month of waiting, deemed to be lost. What I originally ordered was out of stock so I had to wait to get refunded and place another order for the court shoes. When they arrived 2 weeks later, they sent 2 different sizes. Customer service said, ooops, sorry, we don’t have those anymore. You can ship those back now. They didn’t care one iota and didn’t take responsibility for ALL their mistakes. This will be my last Everlane purchase and I didn’t even get anything!
