During my recent vacation, I had high expectations of enjoying a luxurious resort-style experience. However, my expectations were met with disappointment.
Upon checking in, I was immediately struck by the disorganized and cluttered appearance of the property, coupled with the absence of staff. The establishment was severely understaffed and should not be operating at full capacity, charging its premium luxury resort rates. It resembled a motel six in the mountains.
During our stay, we encountered numerous issues, including piles of trash, dog urine, and feces, which were left unattended. Despite recent snowfall, the slippery stairs were not adequately cleared by staff. Dirty plates and pizza boxes were left on tables for extended periods.
Attempting to contact the front desk proved futile, as no one answered. After observing numerous individuals slipping on ice and snow on the stairs, I inquired with the front desk if they could sprinkle salt on the stairs to prevent further accidents. However, the staff informed me that they had already done so.
While attempting to dine at the pub, I was informed of a three-hour wait despite the establishment being nearly empty. Additionally, I was informed that takeout could be ordered at the bar, but my underage daughter was unable to wait with me while we placed the order. It took approximately 30 minutes to gain the bartender’s attention, and unfortunately, they did not have any change for cash and did not offer room service at that time.
After receiving our food, the bartender proceeded to their convenience store, which was essentially out of all beverages and had a half-hour line just to pay for basic items.
We attempted to use the vending machine for drinks on our floor, but it was out of order. We then visited the floor below, only to find that they were also out of stock.
Despite having booked a luxury suite, the sofa bed proved to be extremely uncomfortable. When we raised this issue with the front desk, we were informed that we had to accept it as is.
Upon checking out, we were charged a $50 nightly resort fee. When I inquired with the front desk about the unusable pool and sauna, which were covered in frozen towels that were not picked up, and the piles of dog feces next to the pool, the front desk responded with a smile, stating that these were the costs associated with the property.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against considering this establishment for future stays.
