Staff were so friendly and welcoming when attending the cinema. They greeted us offered us drinks, and answered all queries with such warmth and kindness. Food and drinks were all prepared fresh, and took into account different tolerances and preferences. Service was 10/10.

A proper movie date night spot! We went to Everyman Baker Street to see the latest Mission: Impossible and had a good experience. The vibe is super cozy, much better than your typical cinema. The seats are comfy, and it really feels like a boutique, relaxed setting. We ordered pizza, popcorn, and cocktails, all served right to our seats. The food was good but small portion, the cocktails were good and the service was friendly throughout, but not cheap... Definitely one of the best ways to enjoy a film in London. We’ll be back for sure

I've been to other Everyman cinemas, the standard of this one is lower, it's pretty run down. Most of the menu was not available with very limited food options - it's like they are surprised by how many people are in on a Saturday evening and don't plan. The screen 2 room feels very narrow and plain, different vibe than the Canary Wharf or Kings Cross. Don't expect functioning toilets. Not worth the price. The only real thing they've got here is great staff!

Staff were really great but I paid £31 for: 1. A small popcorn 2. A very small pizza 3. Two scoops of ice cream 4. Two cokes 5. A crisp packet worth of nachos

The manager, Evan, was very approachable and helpful when my partner and I came to the cinema without having booked tickets, for an impromptu visit to watch F1. Evan explained the booking process and accomodated us to watch the film. He came across as an excellent role model for Everyman. Thank you Evan.

Always love going to this cinema. I go at least once a month and I love how they come take your food order at your seat. The vegan pizza is really good too ✨

Google
Premium prices but not a premium experience. The ladies toilet was out of order and there was literally water seeping out from the toilet door which we had to step over to enter the cinema. We had to use the men’s toilet - the staff were not helping in arranging this, so some of the women stood outside so we could all use the men’s toilets The tables at the cinema seats were sticky and dirty and had obviously not been wiped. The popcorn was stale, The machine was almost empty when they gave me the remaining bits instead of making fresh popcorn. Will not be going back, disappointing

Google
I'd agree with others. Not the top Everyman cinema I've been to by a stretch. Limited menu options compared to say Hampstead. I think there's just one screen at Baker Street with the seats very close together. Only a 3 because the staff were great. But in such a prime location you'd think they'd invest more but likely low ROI area due to how small the venue is and having only one screen. I'd go to watch something there again if I were in the area but I'd likely pick the Hampstead Everyman Cinema going forward as it's a lot nicer inside, more spacious and the screen size is much bigger.

Yelp
Great Cinema and even better staff. Seating is big and comfortable with tables for the great drinks made by Holly. You must go here to see a movie and chat with the awesome people.

Yelp
Wait this place is adorable! Who knew this existed? I suppose everyone in London, but not me until I took a walk from Chiltern Firehouse one day. Basically, Everyman has small theaters filled with sofas and armchairs instead of cinema seats. You book online, come wait in their lounge (this is the only not-great part as there's not room for everyone, so don't come too early), then grab some snacks, wine, beer, what have you and enjoy a flick as if you were in a living room with a very large screen. Something about it is just very human and relaxing. You won't get the massive screen and sound of the giant chain cinemas, nor the cinemaphile perfection of, say, Alamo Drafthouse, but it's a sweet and comfortable way to catch a movie. Recommend!

Yelp
The cinema itself is great. Unfortunately when we went with children to see the U-rated Migration we were shown trailers for much older films. This included bad language and highly inappropriate topics to be exposed to a 7 year old. Upon complaining I was offered tickets to see the same film again. Since then, several emails have remained without response.

Yelp
Other reviewers have pretty much hit the nail on the head with this, so no need to repeat everything. This theater is special. When most theaters are only getting bigger and more corporate, Everyman has gone the other way. Small bar, friendly service, comfortable love-seat style couches, and a small enough screen that if you're in the front few rows your eyes won't pop out of your head. A movie-going experience that actually has the intimacy and feel of local live theatre. What could be better?

Yelp
Most probably one of my favourite movie theatre ever! Very very comfortable seats (as home sofa seats comfortable with a little side table for your snacks) Custom made Sundae on demand (5£) served in a mason jar with a real big spoon The staff is very welcoming and the location has a great ambiance altogether, quite masculine with a very adult vibe (so no screaming and very quite ) Only few screens but worth it! A very good dinner options in less than 5 minutes walking from the movie theatre which is also perfect for a convenient night out

Yelp
The Screen on Baker Street is a charming small cinema that I strongly recommend. There are three 'Screen on...' cinemas which I've been told are run by the Everyman group. The others are in Hampstead and Islington. All of the Screens have character, but I come here as it is my closest. They have a great advance booking system where you choose your seats online. Then they send you a text confirming your booking and you're good to go. When you arrive at the cinema you can head straight downstairs to the small refreshment stand. It has a decently stocked bar with competent staff. The highlight though is the traditional popcorn maker, from which they serve freshly popped corn with an uneven covering of butter and salt. I think there are a couple of screens though I have only been in one, which is decently sized. The films shown tend to be commercially successful arts films, as at the Picturehouse and Curzon chains, befitting the gentrified area.

Yelp
If you want to go see the latest Blockbuster With Huge Explosions movie then you'll probably rate this theatre 2 stars, tops. If you want a civilised, comfortable, small-scale film experience, then hopefully you'll agree with me on the 4-star rating I've given the Screen on Baker Street. It's very small (two screens, each with only about 60 seats). They only show 2 or 3 films at a time. But they usually have at least one art or indie film on. When you enter you'll find a small bar, if you want a drink beforehand (no need to chug them if you drink slow, either - you're more than welcome to take your bottle of wine into the film as long as you use plastic cups). Inside the theatre there's an actual usher who shows you to your reserved seat (some may find it a bit silly in such a small theatre, but I think it adds a bit of class - our usher was very professional, and not just some kid who didn't really care). They post the "programming" (i.e., ads and trailers) start time and the actual film start time at the ticket booth, so you know exactly how long you have. Although for the film I saw last night there were no ads or trailers whatsoever: right into the film! The screen's not huge, of course, but picture and sound were fine. Like I said, not the place for a multimedia extravaganza. The chairs were very plush, very reclined, and very comfortable, though. All shows are £9.50, though they have a £7 concession price for early in the week only. It's part of a small chain (http://www.screencinemas.co.uk/) , and is owned by the Everyman cinema group (http://www.everymancinemaclub.com) .

Yelp
This place (and all the Everyman cinemas) changed my experience of what it is to go to a cinema. Delightful friendly bar outside with decent coffee and cakes served. They don't try to pack as many people in as possible. It's more expensive than an Odeon etc but it's worth it. This one is easy to get to as it is less than 5 minutes walk from Baker Street tube.

Yelp
I actually stumbled across this cinema by chance years ago when searching up the closest place near by to watch a movie. I was gobsmacked. What a cute little cinema! It has fast become my favourite place to watch a film in London, just for the fact that its so unique and cosy. It certainly has that 'cool' factor which makes you want to bring friends or a date that you want to impress. "Oh yeah, I always go to hip cool gems like this, no big deal". ANYWAY. I've given this 5 stars as, for what it is, it certainly fulfils all the criterias. Great cinema, clean, awesome food and cool vibe. 'Luxury Cinema' wise, It was a different sort of experience as I'm used to Singapore having reclining chairs, blankets and staff serving you food at the table but to be honest, this is a different sort of luxury. This is the luxury of having your own space and a table to balance tea and snacks on without looking like you've gone all out. It's a place you want to be seen watching a movie in London. You can get an assortment of snacks form honey coasted cashews, nachos and dip to old school candies and chocolates. Oh, and their Toblerone cheese cake is KILLER.

Yelp
Very nice and fancy. The seats were very comfortable and I staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall great atmosphere.

Yelp
Tiny cinema in the heart of Baker Street. Box office area can get very crowded and busy if screen not opened yet, as it's a very small area. Not somewhere to loiter or wait if busy.

Yelp
Saw the Adjustment Bureau here the other night, which was a first time visit for us. What I am used to in small theaters is poor service, uncomfortable chairs and terrible sound just to see the foreign film that would never play at a nicer theatre. This place is nothing like that. The waiting lounge was amazing featuring wines, beers, soft drinks and snacks with a very cozy place to sit while you waiting for your film. Once in, the seats that we chose (yes, I said it - assigned seats) were comfortable with plenty of room for you to stretch and little arm rest for your wine glass. The movie was good not great, the theatre was great not good. This is how movies should be watched! Will return.

Yelp
Everyman Cinema, you never let me down. Baker Street is just your average fabulously wonderful Everyman Cinema location. There are always amazing film choices and wonderful decor at Everyman Cinemas. But I think that the Baker Street location has an especially exceptional seating and bar area to enjoy a glass of wine before the show. As usual, the seats in the cinema are so comfortable, The service is wonderful. I'm thoroughly convinced that this is how every cinematic experience is supposed to be. After visiting the Hampstead, Belsize Park, and Baker Street locations, I am so an Everyman girl.

Yelp
I have been to the Baker Street Everyman a number of times over the years. It continues to be an amazing place to watch a movie. While other cinemas seem to rip you off at every turn, the Everyman offers integrity and quality. Without a doubt, it will not be a cheap night out, but the idea of having a rum and coke while reclining in a spacious, comfortable seat appeals far more than the bog-standard movie houses that are the standard in the UK and USA. No sweet popcorn will, without a doubt, disappoint those who like it with their films.

Yelp
This was my first time at an Everyman cinema. Nice and cozy, very comfortable seats. I did find the theatre itself a little too hot, but like the snack and drink selection and general atmosphere was very enjoyable!

Yelp
Indeed, as the previous reviews mention, this is a nice relatively small cozy cinema screening mainly the non-action mainstream films. The screens are not very large and acoustics could be better, but the overall facilities are generally appropriate for the relatively small audience numbers and the kinds of movies they show. The seats are particularly comfortable with plenty of leg room. I'd also add that the kind of people who come here are very civilized and respectable. Usually no obnoxious groups of school kids and rude boy types you often see at bigger cinemas.

Yelp
Visited to see Shaun the Sheep this last Friday and we were happy with the experience. We were visiting from the US and are frequent visitors of Alamo Drafthouse in Texas. While the model here is similar to a traditional movie theater, the more "upscale" experience was evident from the moment we walked downstairs into the lobby. Non-traditional arty pieces dot the walls instead of movie posters, making it into a more "in the know" style scene where if you recognize the influence or movie the image is connected to, you're one of the cool kids. Bar options were kind of limited, as was the food, but it was on-par with a traditional, yet upscale theater. More in-line with Landmark or Angelika theaters in the US in terms of the experience, but showing standard cinema fare instead of independent cinema.

Yelp
Wonderful Theater with a great staff! Full bar inside with your regular movie snacks as well. Comfy chairs but they had chairs that are more like love seats. I like that idea but could make things awkward for odd number of groups. However, they have great full meals like pizza and servers bringing you your food to your seats. If you are a tourist this is a great escape from the streets and the one I went to was just around the corner from the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

Yelp
I ended up watching Big Hero 6 here on valentines day as the film had stopped showing in most mainstream cinemas. At first I thought it was a little pricey but once there, I could see why and it was worth every penny. Spacious: with plenty of leg room and in comfy seats for the film, and enough space to happily put your snacks or beverage. Very nice decor throughout with a very relaxing feeling, yet still being a bit upmarket and "cool". Something a little different. I definitely appreciated the bar, that served alcoholic drinks as well as the drinks and snacks you might expect from a cinema. All in all, a wonderful cinema experience that I couldn't fault. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Delightful cinema. A bit pricey but the selection is normally good and the atmosphere is great. Smaller houses which is nice and cosy.

Yelp
This is a great little cinema, very comfy seats and a nice pre movie lounge area to enjoy a drink and nibbles pre-show.

Yelp
Great local theater. Comfortable seats and cozy. Very relaxed and nice food and drinks

Qype User (ianwau…)

Yelp
Probably the best cinema I've ever been to... civilised and cosy. Not the greatest place to see action blockbusters, as the screens themselves are quite small, but take someone intelligent and thoughtful to see something French and it's magic. On the down side, you'll never be able to enjoy visiting an Odeon again.

Yelp
Lovely staff, assigned seating with wine and snacks at the ready. Expect the movie to start about 30 minutes after the posted show time. Only wish the cost was a bit lower so that I can go every weekend instead of once a month.

Yelp
The Everyman at Baker Street is now my "local" and I live near Uxbridge West London. My local Odeon has rip-off prices for refreshments, sound is too loud, buckets of popcorn everywhere and a lot of staff lwho are just kids runnnig around with mikes and 'phones all over their bodies. Everything the Everyman is not . Great ! Tim Leman Uxbridge

Yelp
How all cinemas should be!!!!! Has 'heart' and not soulless like so many. With the bar can make a proper night of it....makes it so much more personable and more of an 'experience'. so love coming here.
