So many good things here: Rad sweet staff Sick coffee and tea (try the one with tumeric) Today I'm drinking an americano with hot oatmilk and 2 Splenda (that I didn't have to add myself.) Note: If you have a fear of cows (the animal), stay far, far away.

Google
top tier. baristas r very friendly n cool. easily one of the best cafes in the area.

Google
Cute and sunny spot, tasty americano, friendly barista, what more could I ask for

Google
Very nice ambience, well attended and suits its location very well. I had the dirty chai latte and it had a crisp, clean robust taste. Now I'm not usually a coffee drinker but this place reminds me how lovely coffee can sit in ones body. Definitely recommend trying for a superb experience. A+

Google
Nice cozy coffee shop. Good service, latte was good.. not the best expresso I’ve had but I would certainly come back and try a few more things.

Google
I love Everyman so much! Truly a home away from home. The staff is welcoming and thoughtful, the coffee is consistently good, and the snacks are yummy. Great to do work or meet up with a friend. Support local coffee shops!

Google
It may seem to easy to have a coffee shop, but enough of them does not seem to care that Everyman stands out. The barista cares and espresso drinks taste great, right temperate and amount of milk that make the espresso shot taste good and balanced. Tip: There's a bar area inside with few seatings.

Google
This is the BEST coffee in the neighborhood, for years running. Whether it’s an espresso drink or drip, the coffee is delicious and done perfectly every time. Their staff are exceptional at their craft and feel like family, always asking about my kids, dog, life, everything! I want to give a special shout out to their new manager and current team, who have brought the cafe back to life as we emerge from Covid. Everyman Espresso is one of the best parts of this little neighborhood, come stop by!

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place as a recommendation and I have to say I am thrilled i took the trek from manhattan to here. When I walked It instantly felt cozy and warm. The light chatter of people talking, aromatic coffee, and the warmth of the space. This area its in is already bright but sitting in this place I can confirm that it is pleasant. Also the music was great. Being from west coast, they could consider me a coffee snob, but the barista was knowledgable about the coffee he was serving, QUICK at preparing, and not burnt at all. I really appreciate his energy. Please find your way here! It is a great coffee shop!!

David M.

Yelp
This is the definition of a little whole in the wall shop. Very tiny, no frills place. Pretty much no snacks or anything other than coffee. I had my usual latte and it was good but not great. The drink was served in a tall coffee cup and not a latte mug, so that wasn't good. The flavor was decent but the temperature was a little off. Finally, there were a ton of bubbles in the drink, perhaps from beans that were too fresh. I really wanted to go to the one in manhattan but I was near this location and wanted to try it. Perhaps that location is better? Overall, the coffee was good but could be improved with small changes.

Brian B.

Yelp
Wow, what a great experience. Customer service is spectacular and the vibe is so nice. Also, the coffee is good!

Jacob H.

Yelp
Friendly service, nice and straightforward shop, great cortado! I came here on the recommendation of a friend for a great coffee shop in Brooklyn and it didn't disappoint!

Mark M.

Yelp
Amazing coffee shop. Friendliest on 5th Ave! Had the Cortado and it was sublime. Will be coming back again.

Kit F.

Yelp
Stopped in for two small iced coffees and two water bottles. The coffee was terrible. Bitter, harsh, burnt yet somehow watery. No flavor or complexity. It was very difficult to drink but we needed the caffeine boost. What was worse than the bad coffee is that somehow the bill was $23. The staff was super friendly though. I would recommend the Blank Street across the way, much better coffee at a much better price.

Chuck C.

Yelp
Small place that serves a big cup of coffee Ok, that was a lame pun, but for real, this place makes amazing caffeine-infused drinks of all sorts. My go to is usually an Americano, but the cortado's here are off the hook. The space itself is small but clean, with a few places to sit up front and a counter space in the back. To be honest with you though, this is my go-to for coffee while walking the neighborhood, and I have never sat in. The folks who run the place on the weekend are super nice, and they seem to know all the regulars who come in, which is always a bonus. solid coffee spot for folks in the neighborhood, this is one of the best places I know if in Park Slope for a pick me up.

JL Y.

Yelp
Best coffee by far in at least a ten block radius. Delicious croissants. Warm and quick service every time. There are a ton of coffee options in this corner of Park Slope. This is the one you want.

Yelp
I've actually stopped by Everyman Espresso because my phone was dying and I needed some cold drinks on a hot day. I was super surprised by how uber friendly their barista was. He helped me set up and I got my phone charged. Pretty nice & quiet place if you wanted to get some work done. (They have pretty decent WiFi) Really wanted to give them 5 stars based on the customer service (and a huge shoutout to their barista), but I wasn't a fan of my coffee. I ordered iced latte with oat milk so I wondered if it may have tasted differently if it was hot. Their pastries looked pretty good, but I wasn't so hungry and didn't get to try it.

Rick R.

Yelp
Coffee is ok, but really turned off by the explicit ask for a tip. Its one thing to spin an iPad at me that forces me to think about tipping (for which I always do because baristas don't get their share of tips), but asking me out loud "would you like to leave a tip today?" while you're doing it is pathetically unprofessional. I left you a tip today but won't be coming back out of principle. I speak for many others when I say, let the quality of your service and the warmth of your demeanor be the only things that influence the extent of a customer's gratuity.

Nasir R.

Yelp
wow Amazing expressos and cappuccinos really friendly staff the cheese danish was amazing

Angela I.

Yelp
Coffee was burnt and "barista" was rude. I'll stick to Starbucks. Way overpriced for nasty coffee.

Felix R.

Yelp
Coffee was cold I said no milk and he added milk. Very over price . All the employees have attitudes.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Fabulous, fabulous espresso, neighborhoody feel, and great matcha too. I like the clean, straightforward decor. The baristas are delightfully charming, for the most part. Wonderful what they can pull out of this little space.

Amanda D.

Yelp
There are a lot of places to grab coffee/espresso/caffeine along 5th Ave but this is my favorite one. As many other Yelpers have mentioned, the staff here is just so consistently...nice. And talented and thoughtful about the work that they do. They know how to whisk a matcha latte to perfection and that's really all I could hope for. Keep being great, Everyman crew!

Matthew I.

Yelp
This spot sports delicious coffees from Counter Culture! Just what this neighborhood needed: quick coffee done well and consistently. The team delivers fantastic conversation and wonderful beverages; their Ethiopia is delightfully clean yet sweet enough to drink black while their espresso yields rich fudge and some sweet sugars. Also, their pastry selection is wonderful. I cannot get enough of their sticky buns or morning buns or whatever that thing with caramel in it is called. Whatever I don't know the name I just eat stuff. If you're in a hurry or just trying to find some respite in the day, be sure to stop by here on your way to the trains; it is worth it.

Luke W.

Yelp
I've only had one experience with this place, but I was in dire need of an iced cortado and I had tried in vain to get several other places in the neighborhood to make me one. They all either said they couldn't (except they could...it's literally milk and espresso over ice...) or they made a hot cortado and put it over ice (also a no-no)...I even tried explaining how to make one to places that didn't usually make them. They all stared at me blankly. So I walked in here one hot day in April or May, and I asked with desperation if they made an iced cortado. I don't know if it's even on their menu, but the barista looked at me, confused, and said, "Of course. Why wouldn't we?" As he made the drink, I explained my quest to find an iced cortado in Park Slope and he laughed at some of the excuses I'd been given. (One of which was "it doesn't look good in the cup because the cup is too big". #Ovenly) He made me the drink quickly, gave it to me with a smile, and it was absolutely sublime. I've yet to return, as it's not a place I pass regularly, but I was immensely satisfied with my one experience and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.

Eric C.

Yelp
We came over to Brooklyn to meet a friend for lunch. As per norm, we were early (it's part of my craziness to make sure I'm always on time!). As we waited for the Vietnamese gastropub next door to open up, I decided to grab an espresso at the Everyman Espresso! This is a small little NYC coffee shop much like you would expect in the area. There are a few stools there but most people are regulars who come in pick up something and then head out on their way. My espresso was particularly tangy and not something I was used to. Maybe it's because I'm not an expert but it was nothing like the smooth tasting espressos of Europe or pretty much any other coffee place I had been too. Despite that, they had great service and it was nice to just chill and not constantly be in a rush! Neat little place here in the Brooklyn area!

Nina K.

Yelp
VEGAN OPTIONS - Yes. Almond and oat milk. They use Oatly. Got an iced cappuccino with almond milk. Very good. No sugar needed. Totally hit the spot on a hot and humid day!

Nicholas K.

Yelp
Croissants and lattes are absolutely delicious. Super nice baristas as well. If in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by arguably my favorite coffee place in Park Slope.

Bryan B.

Yelp
You'll leave here with a smile on your face. It'll either be because of the deliciously brewed Counter Culture coffee, or the completely random yet hilarious conversation you had with one of their lovely baristas. Both are a guarantee. Quite simply, my favorite coffee spot in Park Slope.

Tejinder S.

Yelp
This place is highly overpriced The staff is unprofessional and has attitude. Even the owner gives no shit about customer feedback

Elisabeth B.

Yelp
They're open! My Americano was top notch. The barista was friendly. The "social distancing" measures were great.

Gloria K.

Yelp
The cutest and coziest coffee shop in Park Slope. I don't venture out to park slope as often as I should but when I do, I always look for a place with great coffee, ambience and friendliness. Street Parking was relatively easy to find on a Monday afternoon and Everyman Espresso is literally just around the corner on 5th Ave. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner / barista. I ordered a iced latte which was probably the best iced latte I've had. My favorite was from The Bean in the city and every other latte I've had was just decent. But Everyman espresso's iced latte was smooth and not acidic. I don't usually add sugar so I didn't add sugar in my latte but it wasn't even bitter! The seating is like a bar type seating, there isn't separated tables as you'd see in for instance Starbucks. But it was a nice change of vibe. Definitely a must go if around the area. I was able to get a lot of work done. They have free wifi, clean bathrooms and best coffee!

Adrianna C.

Yelp
Fan. Tastic. Excellent macchiato and super tasty macaroon to accompany it. The place is small and clean. Everything is white but not sterile. Baristas are approachable and skilled. What more can you ask for?

Luke W.

Yelp
Excellent. The iced chai was balance, refreshing, and full. Quality and Costumer service never go out of style. If there had been a wait (which there wasn't), it would've been worth it!

Jenny H.

Yelp
Everyman Espresso isn't the cheapest coffee shop on the block, but it makes for a really great mid-week pick-me-up. I wish I could get their iced coffee every day. They make a fabulous cappuccino too -- don't think you could go wrong with any of their options, though!

Nadia F.

Yelp
I can't find better coffee in NY flat white with oat milk is my go to, also try their almond croissants everyone is extremely friendly all the time, and after 9 drinks you get the next one on the house

Jaime C.

Yelp
I *love* Everyman Espresso and am super excited for their new location in Park Slope. One of the best things about EE is they stand up for what they believe in. Just this month (February 2017) they helped raise almost $1500 for the ACLU in response to the refugee ban & brought coffee to the protestors. They work to create a safe and inclusive space, plus put their money & energy into the community. Basically, Everyman Espresso has some seriously fantastic people who make killer coffee. There are some haters on here, which is interesting because their assumptions are incorrect. Perhaps people shouldn't try to label gender and age when writing a review about inclusivity... just a thought. Or, maybe they just love to hate since most of their reviews are 2 & 1 star.

Michael D.

Yelp
Everyman has incredibly nice and friendly staff who make the most excellent coffee. In fact, this was probably the best Americano I'd ever had. I liked it so much I proceeded to visit Everyman every single day I was staying in Brooklyn. Each time, a different barista, yet I was still warmly welcomed a provided a fantastic Americano. They don't win national awards for nothing ... Their cookies and macaroons are quite delicious as well! As for the space itself, it is cozy, with some seating along the bar and up front, but it never seems to feel too crowded. I get the sense, probably due to the size, this is not a "hang out for six hours" kinda place and more of a "stop in for a coffee and some reading or chat with a friend." And in the age of coffee shops becoming offices, that's kind of beautiful.

Sean S.

Yelp
Just 3 days in and I was lucky enough to stumble on this fabulous new coffee spot in Park Slope. The space ship has landed & it's loaded with damn fine coffee! Ok ok, I had a tip off. I've been a long time fan of Everyman in Union Square, as my former stomping ground, and home base. I was passing through a couple weeks ago, and I heard that a new shop was opening in Park Slope. Then on a jog through the neighborhood just a couple of days ago I noticed some folks circled around the front and realized the store had just opened! First time through? I would recommend an espresso or pour over. No milk no sugar. Just get the full flavor of the coffee & perfect preparation. Mmmm mmm. Will be back in soon. :)

Kerry A.

Yelp
Great Guatemalan coffee... It's a small quant coffee shop. The coffee is delicious and fresh. Planning to try the rest of their deserts. Recommend this place ... Very friendly staff!!!

Lanny H.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure the name of the joint is just short for 'Every man, woman, child and gender-nonconforming person' because I got great inclusive vibes in here. The owners were super friendly and down to earth. Pretty rare you get to see the business owners working behind the counter, too. Oh wait they serve some dope coffee too! The espresso I had was top tier. I hope that it's priced higher than a cafe that went out of business in the exact same spot so the everypeople can stick around and continue serving this thriving neighborhood.

Erin P.

Yelp
This place is a well run coffee bar that provides some seriously delicious caffeinated drinks. We wanted to grab a coffee while running a few errands and stopped in. There was a larger group of people in front of us but the barista was amazing and on top of it all. The americanos that we got were $4 and pretty tasty. All the other drinks that were made looked pretty great and we definitely plan on coming back to grab some others.

sara s.

Yelp
Great spot for coffee and to do some work. There are no outlets - so take that into account. The staff is always nice and friendly.

David U.

Yelp
My favorite Manhattan coffee shop is now in Park Slope! Though I'll admit it took me a few trips to Everyman Soho to get accustomed to having them put sugar in my coffee, it really is a full service coffee experience. They take their craft seriously. And I'll pay more at a place that sources high quality beans from a company that values and pays farmers right (cheap coffee comes at a price to someone). A perfect pour every time. Love these folks!

Kenny C.

Yelp
They make a damn good cup of coffee here, and the space is clean and trendy almost to a fault. They sell pastries from Roberta's, and they have cool swag for sale. What's not to like?

Luis O.

Yelp
The interesting thing about Everyman espresso is the huge offer in Espressos, you always going to find tasty and complex coffees in here.

holly j.

Yelp
A great place with a great message . A welcome to the area .. everyone is so friendly here it's a good way to start your day

Heath C.

Yelp
Want to get forced & shamed into tipping on an $5.35 average size average tasting iced coffee to go? Then this is your spot. Yesterday I ordered an iced coffee to go. After I entered my credit card, the lady turned her screen around (which is not within reach of the customer) and straight up asked me "HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO TIP ME?" while holding her finger over the different tip amount options. I told her "no tip" and she quickly replied "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" without closing my credit card transaction. She kept holding her finger at the screen and started telling me different reasons that I should feel bad for her how it's completely ridiculous that I don't want to tip her (on a $5.35 iced coffee to go). As I wanted to be on my way on such a hot day, I gave in and told her to add $1 tip. She gave me the dirtiest look and closed the transaction huffing and puffing like $1 is not enough while muttering more reasons I should feel bad for her. I have no problems with tipping in appropriate situations and I know times are tough for people right now but that is not the way to go about it. If she really does't get paid a salary (one of her claims to me) then she should talk to her boss cause they are selling medium iced coffees for $5.35. The $ is going somewhere.

Lisa K.

Yelp
If you love quality espresso drinks, run here. The bottom line: If you would like the tastiest and highest quality espresso drinks in Park Slope, run here. Run past all the coffee shops from Barclay Center on 5th Avenue straight down to this one. Here are the details. I've tried every coffee shop in my neighborhood. Their espresso drinks do the job, but are missing the rich flavor that a true quality espresso has (in my opinion). Today, I decided to head further down 5th Avenue to find my almond milk cappuccino. Based on the five star reviews on yelp, I went in here to get my drink. The barista quickly took my order and made my cappuccino. Smooth, robust coffee flavors, nicely balanced with my almond milk. I am in heaven. I am slowly sipping what remains of my cappuccino as I write this review. I will be very, VERY sad when my cup is empty. I look forward to many more trips to this hidden coffee gem in Park Slope.

Ashley R.

Yelp
First off, to assume, without meeting the owners, the baristas, and the staff that a cafe is willingly excluding members of the community is garbage. The staff at Everyman includes so many people from all walks of life, and has been accepting and encouraging of all types of people. Secondly, if you balk at the price of coffee, please ask the baristas how much they make. Are they taken care of? Do they love their jobs? If you think coffee prices should stay low, consider the fact that these award-winning baristas at Everyman love their jobs and create delicious coffee well. These are people who execute their craft to the highest level. It'd be like going to a cocktail bar with well-crafted drinks and throwing down $12-15 bucks. If you think your latte should always be worth $4.50, then you don't value hard work and skill and are blind to the fact that prices are going up, minimum wage increases are real, and we have to pay everyone, including baristas, more. That being said, Everyman is the place to go for the best cup of coffee you'll ever have. Enough said.

Hae Lim J.

Yelp
I'd definitely come back here for coffee. Super friendly staff. Good coffee. Decent croissant

Deena K.

Yelp
Love this place! They're quick, attentive, super nice, and every drink I've tried was great. Just wish they had better food options to go with that.

Derek K.

Yelp
Espresso, pour over, and drip coffee with pastries. A good quality cup, they were brewing Counter Culture when we stopped in. Just a little seating - so a good place to grab a cup and go.

Danielle C.

Yelp
I have been a few more times since my review - they never disappoint, not with the amazingly smooth espresso or the willingness to engage with me in small talk. (I live alone and work from home so it's nice to see and interact with another live human being once in awhile.) The shop has an all-glass front so it's great for people-watching (if you are able to grab 1 of the 3 stools in front). It still is odd that they put the sugar in for you (I always have to ask to put in my own sweetener) but I will put up with that for this great coffee. P.S. I would say that they should open up in BoCoCa but we have so many great coffee shops there that that would be greedy of me. If they did, though, this would likely be my daily stop (over East One, Cantine -depends who is making the shot - or Velvette Brew).

Henry F.

Yelp
I loved the espresso I got here! My girlfriend got a nice tea which she enjoyed. A wonderful lady named Sue helped me. Good vibes at this location as well as the east village one. Espresso lovers go here, you won't regret it!

Mara D.

Yelp
This is my favorite local coffee shop! The espresso is always delicious. Great vibes from the staff and customers who come in, many of whom are local.

Brian J.

Yelp
LOVE their coffee & usually no issues though came recently with my 5 month old puppy & the gal behind the bar leaned over & said "ya, he's not allowed in here" then carried on about her way, no "Hi" no "I'm so sorry but..." no "maybe I bring it out to you..." Running retail stores, I expect a bit more from business owners in hopes that customer service hasn't fallen completely off our radar... Again, love the product, though delivery leaves much to admire here. I'm embarrassed to even have to relay such feedback.
