The Best Creole & Cajun Restaurants In Atlanta

"The vibrant mural on Everythang NOLA’s exterior wall tells everything you need to know about the Sylvan Hills business—colorful, lots of bayou pride, and snowballs. Mmmm, the snowballs. Inside the tight takeout shop, you’ll find a ridiculous flavor roster for the popular shaved ice treat. You’ll be tempted by peach or pina colada, but the slurp-and-spoon dance you’ll play with your cup might be tastiest in pineapple-mango. We also really enjoy their other sweets (strawberry cake, cinnamon roll) and staples (a three-sausage gumbo is a must try) that make it hard not to like this Big Easy detour." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams

I absolutely love this place! The owner has a beautiful spirit! She really loves her customers! The heart of a woman bowl that she created is the absolute best! I can’t stay away from this place! I feel compelled to support her success! She has different bases for your fruit bowls, and she has 3 different sizes, which I love because sometimes the larger bowls are too much for me to eat in one serving. But, the açaí bowls are fresh and delicious. The gumbo is good! The seafood rolls are also good. Don’t sleep on this place and be patient with your support because she really loves her customers.

Everythang Nola is seemingly in the middle of nowhere but is actually right on the outskirts or everywhere you wanna be! #IYKYK! I happened to come, luckily, when it wasn't busy at all! The staff was super friendly! The Dragon fruit smoothie bowl was insanely bussin and so refreshing, and the gooey butter cake was chefs kiss, on chefs kiss! I would definitely recommend this to any and everybody!

This morning my daughter treated me to breakfast here. First off the customer service from J and Taniyah was excellent. Loved the vibe from the music to the decor here upon entrance. I fell in love with the almond butter croissant at first bite! 😆 The açaí cup which my daughter ordered not only is good for you but tasted super delicious. Definitely enjoyed our Garden district lattes. This was a great impromptu mom and me outing overall here. Will be back and recommend a visit to others for sure!

Google
I have been supporting Everythang NOLA for years, not even sure how many atp. I was a customer back when they went by a different name and even a different location. Keisha and T-Man never disappoint! Treat and love on my babies like family, the food is always fresh and delicious and the açaí bowls are always on point. Down to the fresh fruit toppings. I respect that the owner never half steps and doesn’t sell or serve product that she isn’t pleased with. They def have a life customer with me.

Google
Service was top tier. I got the praline pound cake with a praline ice coffee. Delicious 🤤 you have to come and check this place out it has a variety of different flavorful snacks.

Google
The energy that Keisha gives when you walk through the door is contagious and full of love. The cashier was very knowledgeable with explaining the menu to new commerce and the portions of food was to the T! Well worth the money that was spent. The bowls was full and delicious!

Google
I’ve been going to Everythang Nola for about 3 years now and they never disappoint. I always get a bowl with dragonfruit or mango base. This visit I got regular size dragonfruit bowl topped with kiwi, strawberries, mangos, almonds, granola, and chia seeds. Not pictured is the glazed donut I ate. So soft. Should’ve purchased two! Wait time was very short as I was the only one in there at that time but have waited before but had no issue as it takes time to make fresh bowls with love. Lastly, employees are always friendly and welcoming.

Google
The owner is beautiful and the açaí bowls are great. The coffee is great everything about is Nola I will definitely be back.

Yelp
First, this isn't to bash any business.... I truly love supporting local spots. But I was really disappointed with the seafood eggrolls. The menu shows two rolls cut in halves, but I only received one tiny roll for $15 (almost $17 with tax). The roll itself was okay, but definitely not worth that price just for one. I'm from NOLA where seafood rolls are popular, and you'd never pay that much for one. I also tried the snowball, and it was a bit watered down. Even after adding condensed milk, it was barely a drizzle. I mentioned the eggroll issue to the staff, and I hope they consider updating their menu or portions..... it definitely felt misleading. And BE PREPARED to WAIT!!!!! We waited 30 mins just for a snowball.

Yelp
I've had trying a açaí bowl on my to do list for a long time now and I'm so glad that I was invited out to this place. We both had never visited this place so we both had no clue what was on the menu however we were nicely greeted and instructed on how to order per their menu. I ordered a açaí based bowl with granola, chai seeds, almonds, peanut butter, strawberries, blueberries, and pineapples. I think this will definitely become a staple in my diet going forward. 10/10 I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
It was delicious and amazing the snow cones. Parking is tight and the wait is a bit much. Overall be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins if the line is at the door. The store has other items to eat like cake, gumbo and pralines that I saw being ordered. The only thing missing was some Nawlings beads. But this is a must try spot at least once.
google avatar

Clarice L.

Yelp
Great flavor on the snow cone. I love the fresh fruit. I got peach and strawberry margarita. My husband got a stuffed mango cheesecake. It took about 15 minutes but the lady was very nice.
google avatar

Jewel A.

Yelp
Stopped in this weekend for the fruit bowl. It was yummy but not what I ordered. My coffee was great. I suggest oat milk with lavender and caramel. The owner was pleasant and friendly. I also got the seafood rolls and gumbo. Both were delish. There is no where to sit ut the location is welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Although known more for their snow balls and (leading up to Mardi Gras) king cakes from New Orleans, the açaí bowls here are the bomb! Love this neighborhood spot. Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8a-7p. Fri: 8a-8p. Sat-Sun: 9a-8p

Yelp
Simple but amazing, I've been coming since day one and they still kicking out these great Bowls and service , I miss seeing the owner all the time but they have made a hoke on Sylvan Rd and I'm a forever customer for their Acai Bowls since I'm a recovering coffee addict But they have that for you too and several items .
google avatar

Lataunya W.

Yelp
This is a great cafe for all your New Orleans treats, they have a great selection of Acai bowls and bases. My favorite is the blue cream "Spirulina". They include flax seeds, chia seeds, almonds, granola & two fruits of your choice. You can even mix the bases.
google avatar

Janell H.

Yelp
Ive had ENC on my yelp to do list for some time. So when my tik tok sister Theny told me to go here that its her family establishment I made sure to support. Friday the sun was shining so I told bae lets go get some treats. I decided to get the cotton candy one because I love cotton candy & bae selected the strawberry cheesecake and banana pudding (not seen) and we were both pleased. The flavor was exactly what is said it was. They sell a lot of things which I didnt know but know that I know its more than snowballz I surely will return. We decided this our spot and we will be back for the stuffed snow ballz & more.

Yelp
This place is so cute. And delicious. As a former resident of New Orleans, I really appreciate its presence in the A. The yakamein is fire, and so is the lady that runs it. Love her energy.

Missus A.

Yelp
You are welcomed as soon as you walk in and the owner is so friendly. I even met her lovely mom. I ordered yakamein and a chantilly snowball. Absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
I only get the Açaí bowl. It's really good... many choices! They have the best AÇAÍ bowls in Atlanta!
google avatar

Christie B.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday and they had a pop up shop from @thecaffinatedrose which was cool as she wrote sweet notes on the form. Lunch doesn't start until 1pm which was tough. But I grabbed a praline cake and some NOLA snacks to scratch my itch of the festive city. Music was bumping and staff was nice!
google avatar

Kiah R.

Yelp
Wanted a snowball and have been following them on social media for a long time. This is a black owned business, I customized my snowball got Georgia peach and pina colada, it was delicious! They have more than snowballs, they have acia bowls that I hear are also great and other food. the staff was beyond friendly, they just had a longer wait than I expected but it was crowded. They only have outdoor seating, parking can be challenging because it is a small place.

Susan R.

Yelp
I stopped by for a snowball on a Sunday afternoon, prices were reasonable, and I really enjoyed it!

Quan D.

Yelp
It was okay. I had a flavored snow ball if you've had them once you know the flavoring. I came for the banana pudding and was told they were out. They've been out for awhile because of the "vendor". So instead I got a red velvet cake, bread pudding and ooh wee gooey cake. Everything was okay it didn't give me that wow factor to return unless I can't find something else at the moment. I would say the bread pudding taste better warmed also that was my first time having a drizzle sauce for bread pudding which enhanced their version. Without it it just taste like cake. What I would say that blew me away and I loved to see the friendly staff gave a homeless man a cup of coffee. I was excited about that because it was a really cold & windy day in Atlanta so for that act alone 5 stars.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Wow! The best Açaí cup I've had!! I was visiting from St. Louis and stumbled across Nola's. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The employees were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return the next time (May) I'm in Atlanta, and will order a bowl!
google avatar

Lesha P.

Yelp
Authentic New Orleans snowballs. Literally the best snowballs I've had in Atlanta. Soft shaved ice, unique perfectly (not over sweet) flavors, and great service. The owner is a sweetheart. Definitely worth the hour drive every weekend! They also serve Cajun nachos, açaí bowls, and a host of other New Orleans style treats.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance is cool! The owner is a sweet heart! One of the things I love about the owner is she is open to try anything based on your taste buds! Food is good too! I

Yelp
Amazing drinks! You may have a slight wait cause everything is incredible! But you are certainly in for a treat if you go to Everythang Nola! So do yourself a favor...

Ra'ven C.

Yelp
Let me say this before anything. This is not to bash Everything Nola at all. But a teachable moment for the employees. The workers did apologize I want to mention, I support and love this spot but today was truly disappointing and upsetting. I came in to get my normal snowballs, I on occasion my family indulge in the other treats they offer here. However we love their snowballs that's what they are popular for. Idk when this young girl (not sure if she is white, or what and it doesn't matter I'm just describing her so she can be spoke to about this matter, she has a glasses with brown hair) I don't know when she started working there but someone in management needs to speak with her on etiquette and cleanliness especially in the public view where customers can see. It was told the ice machine was not working but they fixed it and caught me before I drove away and offered to make my snowballs. Of course I'm happy and I go back in and order. This young girl was not skilled at all on how to make snowballs. The biggest no no she did was taking her bare hands scooping ice out of the tray of the shaved ice maker and putting it in her mouth in front of me and NOT WASHING HANDS. HER NASTY BEHIND PUT GLOVES ON THAT SHE WAS TAKING OFF AND TAKING BACK ON. It's enough going around I don't want someone saliva tainted gloves making my snowballs that's straight up foul and unacceptable to do. I received two cups full of syrup and ended up throwing them away. She spent about 15 minutes on one small classic snowball trying to get the shaved ice to come out of the scoop until she eventually decided to ask for help. Mind you this young man didn't wash his hands either before putting on gloves to help her....I stated to her that she was pouring too much syrup that the guy who helped already poured syrup on the first half of my snowball and she shrugged and said oh well they told me to drench it in syrup like a wet slushie...so I take the snowballs and I Leave I don't even make it to my car and it's over flowing with syrup like typical snowballs drip a little syrup but it's overflowing running out it, dripped all over the floor in the shop on my white shoes stained my hands and all. It would have been easy to go back in and speak to someone but I was honestly so upset I wasn't trying to cause a scene so I just left. Please please remind and train your workers on cleanliness and etiquette I could have been anybody and you showing that kind of work behavior...absolutely not okay. And not a good look for business

Yelp
I visit here year round and I am always satisfied with the service and the food. Granted, the owner (who is super friendly and inviting) is the only one who has served me. Whenever I go, there isn't much of a crowd so parking is never an issue. They have their own lot right next to the building. There's a huge mural on the side of the building. Can't miss it. They serve everything from açaí bowls, bagels, banana pudding, salads, bread pudding, and sno balls. Their menu has a lot of options to choose from. There is very limited seating on the inside and a couple of tables outside. I usually get the grilled salmon handwich combo which includes the sandwich on croissant, chips and drink. I always opt for the peach blendzie with real peaches! It tastes like a peach sweet tea but sweeter lol. During the winter months, I love the gumbo! It has crawfish, shrimp, and sausage in it. It comes with rice and toasted bread. You can add a crab leg for an extra charge. During the summer season, they do crawfish boils. Catch the seasonal menu items while you can, they sell out often. This is one of my favorite spots for lunch and they are black owned!

Yelp
The cheese cake Icey drink was delicious! A little messy so get plenty of napkins. The server was very nice and helpful. We bought the banana pudding and bread pudding to go. Great dessert stop!

Yelp
So I was CRAVING... An ACAI BOWL sooo bad after watching someone online make one. So I roll up to this one popular spot.. that I THOUGHT was apart of their menu options..NOPE.. I Turned on my heel and left. I went to trusty Yelp. To search in the area for Acai Bowls. In the search popped up Everythang Nola.. which about 7 minutes away from where I currently was. I called to get clarification on the location, they were very helpful and pleasant. It was actually in the opposite direction I was thinking.. but I got there. It's in a white building with other businesses attached. I've rode pass here bur paid no attention. There is plenty of parking in the lot next to it. Beautiful colorful mural on the side wall. Very nice. I park. I lady is walking out with this huge bowl...that's it that's the ACAI BOWL!!! She confirmed they are so good!!! I walk up there are few people sitting at the picnic tables they have out front.. yes there was a line. It moved swiftly considering others placing orders were first timers as well. The young lady at the counter was so helpful and patient. I place my order.. Acai bowl.. 2 fruits. I choose banana and blueberries... other add ins were granola, almonds, agave ,honey, flax and chia seeds. I went out side to wait. Meanwhile I snapped a few pictures. The inside had another painted wall. and they were playing good music too. They have a TV That scrolls the food items and other announcements.. like the mom birthday is coming August 26 !!!!Yay, she a Virgo like me on August 31. They have other food items.. featuring beef or chicken bayou nachos.. I saw a couple people order that looked tasty. Pastries and bottled drinks.. I didn't inquire about that.. everything looked good. I watched as the young lady made sno- cones. They looked tasty and decorated so nice. I will try on soon . Let's get into my Acai bowl... I drove home as fast as I legally could. I washed my hands and ... man oh man..it was so good. I hated for it to end. But I went back a couple days later. I think they add something to make you drawn to come back.. it's made with Love and Care. I was informed about the point system.. get your receipt and enter the code and download the app. Accumulated points add up. When you arrive make sure you tell them to check you in and to get your points. On my second visit I got a red velvet gooey cake.. oh sooo good. There was also choclate and original (the original wasn't availble, or sold out..i know why)For me the best way to describe its like a cross between a cake and a cookie.. (almost like a brownie ) very moist.. I ate it very slow to savor every bite.. Divine... and again I will be back. Its not far from where i live and plus im in that direct area at least twice aweek ..so why not drop by.. and i will. This is a family ran business everyone is so friendly and helpful. Go check then out.

Yelp
Best Snow Cone I've ever had.. the ice is shaved and so soft. Simple no frills menu. I mixed the Strawberry Lemonade, and polar punch flavors for the Win. Wanted to enjoy some of the cronuts I've seen them advertise but they were out when I came in. Look forward to returning. Definitely a good vibe, outside seating. Being here feels like you took a quick road trip to New Orleans.
google avatar

Ciarra J.

Yelp
I saw this place on Tik Tok and pinned it as I knew I would be in the area soon. Disclaimer, I lived in New Orleans for several years and I visit yearly. I am always hesitant to try out NOLA food outside of the city but sometimes you can't get there. I took my Godsons after work and of course they wanted to try one of the NOLA Ballz (basically a Snow Ball). They had a huge list of flavors to pick from and made some specialty ones as well. They also had baked goods and a breakfast menu. We settled on NOLA Ballz in flavor mango, mango/grape, and wedding cake. They were delicious, not too sweet and full of flavor. The small was very large and it was plenty to enjoy. I would love to try one of the other more creative flavors but they had other vendors outside we wanted to try. I noticed in the comments everyone talked about people being so nice and I while I agree we were greeted outside and as soon as we were up to the counter but things were a little confusing from the parking lot - crowded and hard to park, the vendors outside made it confusing to know where to go and how to order, lastly while our order was taken easily no one gave any direction while we were waiting and the staff which consisted of about 6 people just kept talking to each other. I think this place could be a hit but the staff needs to work on engaging with customers, telling them what they are doing, and offering suggestions. For there to be so many people working the wait was long.
google avatar

Chardy C.

Yelp
I enjoyed the atmosphere! Was truly excited to try this black owned and operated business! The snowballs were very appeasing to look at, but be quick because they melt very quickly. I had the strawberry cheesecake and was very disappointed with the small amount of cheesecake given for the price. Nola was gracious enough to add more and it definitely hit the spot. The praline was very good, but the toppings make it a messy delight. All in all I will return!
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place! I've had an iced latte, the red velvet brownie, and the strawberry cheesecake snowball. Everything was amazing! The customer service was great. They are typically super busy and a small business, so give them some patience because I promise it is worth the wait. The atmosphere is also so much fun. They also have several vegan options. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Today I had one of the best experiences I've had since moving to Atlanta, at Everythang Nola. I arrived a bit after 7pm and walked inside to order, when I was told that they were actually closed for the day. When I walked back outside I was met by Ms. Keisha (the owner) and her father who quickly and politely explained they were closed for the day. I showed them that on Apple Maps it showed their hours to be open until 8pm. Ms. Keisha apologized and explained that she is currently trying to build a more steady team of workers and the reason for their early closure was because of a lack of staffing. She asked me what I was going to order, and after telling her that it was my first time so I wasn't 100% sure, but that I'd come for a snowball, she asked me what flavors I liked and told me she'd be right back. A few minutes later she came back with a strawberry snowball topped with fresh cut strawberries free of charge! I showed her how to change her hours online if she'd like to, and she gave me a full rundown of Everythang Nola and the different beverage options they carry. I felt cared for as a customer and a person and I will definitely be back and bringing friends the next time I come.

Yelp
Listen! I've seen the place on Tik tok and went immediately, and let me sayyyy this, it was worth the hype. Now let me warn you? This particular snowball and 16$ and I was a little thrown aback because I wasn't expecting it to cost that much. HOWEVER. When you eat it you totally understand why it's that much. This is a cheesecake and ice ream WRAPPED IN A SNOWCONE AND BABE! It looks as good as it taste. I'm not big on sweets so it was to my surprise that it wasn't too sweet. The ice from the snow cone balanced out EVERYTHING. The staff was soooo sweet she got me a bag to put everything in because it was a delicious mess . Will be back today
google avatar

Ariana T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed coming to this cafe. We got snowballs and they were delicious. We enjoyed the sour apple, birthday cake batter, and wedding cake snowballs. The staff was very friendly! We sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon. Next time we are in town we will be sure to stop by.

Robert B.

Yelp
excellent Snow cone using shaved ice, I recommend the cherry candy apple snow cone. also don't forget to get your pecan prailine pound cake .

Yelp
* Black Owned * Amazing Business * Owner was very nice and hands on staff was great as well. * Açaí Bowls are huge and to die for
google avatar

Camille D.

Yelp
They have a wonderful and fun environment when you walk in. The food is authentic New Orleans cuisine like the Pecan Pralines. This is a black-owned business.
google avatar

Katrina G.

Yelp
This location was recommended to me by a friend. The location was easy to find and they have a decent size parking lot. The place is small and they have two tables outside for outdoor seating. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake stuffed snoball which was really good, the snoball was pretty pricey around $13 if I would've known that prior then I probably wouldn't have ordered it but I guess it was worth the price. The staff was pretty friendly and they seemed to move fairly quick with the orders. I would definitely visit this location again to try the other snowballs.
google avatar

Asia E.

Yelp
I really enjoyed coming here I got the Georgia peach and Bahama mama snoball and it was sooo delicious! The place is cute and cozy and they serve a large variety of snoballs and even smoothies. The service is always really good!
google avatar

Jasmine B.

Yelp
This place was so good! Nachos were fire! I had a mango cheesecake snow cone, and my cousin had a strawberry one and it didn't disappoint! Service was great the lady that made the snow cone she was so nice! No sitting inside but you can sit outdoors in the front! Over all when you visit this is a must!

April B.

Yelp
The best açaí in the City!!!!!! I highly recommend! The Original OG is my favorite. Staff is always very friendly!

Levi W.

Yelp
WOW! I mean WOW!! The service here was absolutely amazing, she helped us navigate every option they had that day. They've got everything from pastries (some were banana or bread pudding, glazed croissants, caramel cake, red velvet cake/brownie combo), cakes, coffee, tea, CBD drinks, chicken salad, pickles, and snoballs! Much much softer than snow cones, the flavor really soaks to the bottom and you get a really flavorful bite the whole time. It was a super crappy day, pouring rain off and on, gloomy and cold but this was an absolute slice of joy. The place is small and I was told it gets packed in the summer, but it was a perfect time of day to walk in and have a great conversation while picking up some snacks. Already planning our next time to come back!!
google avatar

Faith D.

Yelp
I accidentally found this spot while searching for smoothie places in the area. I've been enjoying fresh smoothies and local smoothie spots so I was excited this place was in route. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. There's a bar table against the wall for you to sit at. The menu includes coffee, smoothies, snowballs, a small assortment of pastries. The owner of the shop was very friendly and welcoming. We chatted while she took my order and made my smoothie. I chose the Forever Sunshine. It had greens, pineapples, strawberries, and a few other ingredients. Apologies I don't remember exactly what was in it BUT the blend was perfect. I don't usually go for green smoothies, I'm not a fan of the earthy aftertaste that comes with heavy greens, but this was GREAT! I'd actually get this one again. They also offer CBD tea, and half gallons of smoothies if you'd like. I'm interested to try their coffee selection. If you're in the area I recommend you stop by this place and pick up a smoothie! The staff is friendly, location is easily accessible, and the quality is great.

Yelp
Good service, good food, fun atmosphere, and great experience. I had the Yakamein and corn bread, my wife had the Nachos and cheese. I'd recommend them to all of my friends.

Ro H.

Yelp
The nachos were delicious and the drinks was on point! I was told to try the chicken nachos, that will be on my list when I go back.

Yelp
This place was so cute and had such great customer service. I ordered a mango cheesecake Snowball, which was extremely good and very fulfilling. I will definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
First time visiting this establishment, but it definitely will not be my last. Customer service was A-1 from the time I walked in the door until my departure. My snowball was so pretty and delicious. Great job people and thank you for coming to Atlanta!

Yelp
It's always the customer service and energy for me! The owner is doll so sweet you can tell this is their passion not just a business! It's super cute on the inside lots of support for small businesses and the flavor of this beautiful Strawberry Cheesecake was amazing perfect texture of sno anddddd they have more than Snoballs! If you in the area must try stop by and check out my video review on IG @atlfooddirectory

Jantay W.

Yelp
Wait time is absolutely terrible. Waiting 20-30 mins for 1 snoball is outrageous. The staff were more concerned with the music that was being played. And just standing around. It was 1 person in the front while 2 other employees were in the back talking, we could see them just standing there talking to each other in the back instead of trying to help out. Terrible service. The point of a snowball is to be a quick snack to grab, not having to sit and wait 30 minutes AFTER paying. That's not even including the wait time due to the slow service.

Yelp
The service and variety are excellent! I'm from New Orleans and desperately needed a king cake and was able to get a fresh one! Thank you for keeping us connected to home!

K I.

Yelp
One of my favorite cafe's in Atlanta. Every time I come here, I bring a friend so they can try their delicious items. I've tried the Yummy 4 Life smoothies, almond croissant, lavender cake, key lime cake, and can't forget about the snoballs! Best snoballs in Atlanta, real NOLA style. The smoothies are made fresh to order. You can literally taste every ingredient in it, so good! All the flavors are tasty. The almond croissant is huge and served warm. I'm allergic to nuts so my niece tried it and she loved it. I tasted a corner (because it just smelled so good lol). Flaky, buttery and delicious yessss! The snoballs = Heaven. I HIGHLY recommend the stuffed strawberry cheesecake snoball. You won't be disappointed. It's big enough to share so bring a friend. This is in a small plaza with a free parking deck right beside it. It does get packed on the weekend, especially on Sundays with the Cafe Bourbon food truck outside (another place I highly recommend) so come early if you can!

Yelp
I totally enjoyed the refreshing shaved ice I had at this place. I ordered me a pineapple flavored with chunks on top for me and for my daughter had the rainbow shaved ice. They are practicing social distancing and the employees were very nice. The establishment when you walk in smells super clean. I do recommend anyone to at least try it once. I will go again. The kids were very happy with choose. An update! I went back a second time and my review remains the same. I totally enjoy home the owner engages with her customers. Love this please
