"Whether it’s the coco bread or the jerk chicken, Everything Irie approaches Jamaican food with warmth, hospitality, and the right amount of seasoning to give every single bite a very flavorful kick. Order plates of jerk and brown stew chicken or escovitch fish with sides of rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. Make sure to grab a beef patty or a slice of red velvet cake for later." - Alex Leo-Guerra

Finally a Jamaican restaurant that makes me proud of my heritage. I walked into good Jamaican music playing and was greeted with a smile by a gentleman. Sometimes I don't feel like cooking so when I decide to spend $30 on a plate of oxtail I want it to be delicious! And I want good customer service. This little place offers it all. I will definitely be back. I used to frequent Fireside, but they've really gone down. I don't mind driving a few extra minutes for good food and good service. Keep up the good and positive work "Everything Irie!"

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It smelled like somebody used the bathroom and was on a detox or something… my initial thought was to leave immediately but I understand ppl can’t help their digestive system. Needless to say, I asked the guy that was working up front what was the smell and I specially asked was it in the water/sewer line. He ensured me it wasn’t so I proceeded to order my food (since they had good reviews and nobody mentioned it in the reviews I read prior to me deciding on that place for supper). Pros: That was the best rice and peas I’ve had from a Jamaican restaurant in years. The jerk sauce, was amazingly delicious as well and the cabbage was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Cons: I have never gotten a veggie plate for $11 or $13 and felt so cheated. Normally places put the rice in the long open section of the box and the other veggies in the smaller compartments. The delivery of the food left me disappointed (see the picture. Looks like it was thrown in the box) and was not plated with love/care, & the cabbage had an after taste … also, that smell. I will try them again, but if it smells the same I will leave without ordering any food. I will also advise them of my expectations from what I mentioned above to make sure they can accomplish it before placing an order

I was in the mood for some oxtails, so I did a quick Google search and came across this place with some fantastic reviews. I decided to give it a try, and honestly, it was some of the best Jamaican food I've had in ages—just absolutely delicious! Plus, they serve generous portions.

If you're in Atlanta and craving authentic Jamaican food, look no further than Everything Irie. This spot has quickly become my go-to whenever I'm in Georgia, and for good reason. The owner has done an incredible job creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been transported straight to Jamaica. The flavors are bold, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is top-notch. My absolute favorites are the oxtail and greens. The oxtail is cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory flavors. The greens are equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and a great complement to the oxtail. Every visit to Everything Irie is a delightful experience, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy the best Jamaican cuisine in Atlanta.

Google
Me and my lady visited her to get my first taste of Jamaican cuisine. Greeted by a nice young lady who was helpful with all our questions. I decided on curry chicken, with rice and cabbages. The lady had the ox tails with the same sides. We dined in to enjoy our food. The food came quickly and there were plenty of portions. I loved the curry chicken and tasted the ox tails, which were also delicious.

Google
Hands down the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve ever visited. This is authentic food and my brown stewed escovitch was perfect. The handsome young man who works up front has great customer service as well. I waited about 20 minutes for my food (I was given a heads up) and it was well worth the wait. Also, everything was clean including the bathroom. I’ll be back to bring my family! 🇯🇲

The food was very good and the service was even better but I don't like that you can only pick one between cabbage and plantain. Overall everything is good 👍👌

Yelp
Just stepped off the plane from Jamaica and did not get a chance to enjoy oxtail and needed another Beef Patty. I searched Yelp for the reviews, called them up to confirm what time they closed and that they had oxtail and beef patty available. We were in good shape so headed right over. Because I know I am particular and have tasted some not so good, I asked for a sample of their oxtail... the little piece I received was enough to let me know I was ordering a large. Best Oxtail hands down! Hubby ordered Jerk Chicken with his sauce on the side it was also so good! The chicken tasted like it came off the grill and the jerk sauce was perfect. I needed to know what the curry tasted like as well so paid extra for some curry sauce for my rice. In line with everything else it was also slamming! This is my new spot.. whenever I am in the area I'm stopping in. The lady at the counter was cool and easy to work with. Don't forget to tip people.

Yelp
This is a medium sized counter service establishment that specializes in Jamaican dishes. I went at lunch time on a Thursday. There was no wait or line. The menu ranges in price from $10-$20+ for most dishes. I wanted the oxtail which is not offered as a lunch, and I had it with rice and beans and cabbage. I was hoping to substitute one of the sides for a salad but that was not available as an option. They give generous portions. The oxtail had a heavy dark brown gravy and was served in a. Styrofoam container on top of the sides. Overall the food delivery was incredibly fast and the food came out piping hot. I ate in the restaurant in one of the many tables. There is a relatively loud TV for entertainment at the front and an unusual playpen in the back of the seating area. The restaurant was relatively clean though the fabric chairs were stained. this is a popular place for local workers who showed up in construction style reflective vests. The person at the counter was fast. This restaurant is worth a shot.

Yelp
It's in the Valero parking lot. The customer service was great (comparing to other Jamaican restaurants where the staff is rude), the $10 lunch special are huge portions, the carrot cake was too moist but flavorful. The curry was good and the lunch special comes with a drink. I also love how they have homemade hot sauce for customers. I will definitely swing thru here again!

Kiraa ..

Yelp
Everything was sooo good! My fiancé got the curry chicken and it was delicious as well. The rice & peas is a bit spicy so beware of that..but overall everything was great. Will definitely be eating here again!

Diamond R.

Yelp
Cool spot near my job. They are truly nice ppl from the typical JA spot. Food is good so far I've had the lunch special brown stew and Mac. Next time I'll try something new. I def recommend this gem to anyone looking for good Carribean food.

Jaleesia R.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. The food is always fresh and very seasoned to taste. The quality is on point. The quality meets expectations. The prices are reasonable. The customer service is always hospitable. There is seating if you want to grab quick lunch but very casual.

Nesh ..

Yelp
WHEN I SAY THIS CURRY CHICKEN AND CABBAGE IS GOOD...I MEAN IT!! I tried this place for the first time today and got the lunch special but next time I know to get a larger portion! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I can't express how good this is. I was trying to compare the taste to other restaurants I order curry from but this place just knocked them out the box. I'm going back again and again and again! Unfortunately I can't take a picture of my food because it's gone. It was steaming hot and just purrrfect! Y'all please don't sleep on them lol.

Mrs S.

Yelp
This is the best original Jamaican Food you will ever taste. You will never miss a flavor in every dish! Be great to yourself and take a piece of Jamaica with you. I go once a week. 1. Stew Red snapper 2. Curry Goat/white rice 3. Curry Chicken. All of it is good.

Karlie P.

Yelp
The food is good. However, they are never open. The hours of operation are wrong on the door and the internet. They're missing out on money by being closed by 6p.

Kent F.

Yelp
The food is great! Jerk Chicken and cabbage with red bean and rice! Service was fast and food hot! Ambiance...everything is to go but they have a few tables to dine in.

Dazziyah M.

Yelp
This place was so good! The people were nice and the bell was definitely useful! First off, they have lunch ALL DAY which is amazing. There's just a select few items on there, unfortunately oxtail is not for lunch, but it was still amazing! Everything fell off the bone, the rice and beans were so good, they give you plenty of sauce on top, the cabbage was very juicy, but also had that slight crunch and the plantains were bomb! The seasoning were on point here. My boyfriend got the curry goat and he thought it was really good. The meat was very tender and also that came with plenty of sauce. He also got cabbage and rice and beans which he loved. They had the right consistency with the softness and tastes. He also got hot sauce on the side which he said made it better for him. They also make their own hot sauce which was perfect. We wanted to get beef patties. But we'll be back! Very covid friendly! Seats are sat far apart 10/10

Jae S.

Yelp
They're pretty quick but the customer service is abrasive. The food was good not great. However, I did enjoy the jerk chicken lunch special.

Chris R.

Yelp
Just bad...service, food, everything. This is like the "gas station sushi" version of Jamaican food. I would have been better off leaving after the rude server took my order. Never again.

Yolanda P.

Yelp
Good Jamaican spot on the southside. Mac and else was good but I wanted something a tad bit more traditional on the Mac -- like baked Mac. HOWEVER the cabbage is so good. The jerk chicken was good as well; I got extra sauce on the side. It is spiced. Good customer service . I'll be back to try more menu options .

Ivo L.

Yelp
The new lady at the front has terrible customer service. VERY RUDE NASTY ATTITUDE . Instead of telling me my total she just stands there waiting for me to pay, and once my order was ready she goes "HELLO?" this is the second time seeing her, and she has been bitter every time. Definitely not coming back because why are you so rude to a customer that you don't even know?

Carlos C.

Yelp
What superb food! We will be back! Loved it! I had the Jerk Tilapia and wow! Soo delicious! We love to find those secret GEMS!! THIS IS IT! You can come back and thank me...... LOL

Chantel C.

Yelp
This place is incredible The flavors so full and rich, quality and quantity abundant! The Cook and team super friendly, and vibe chill. It's going to be our new go to anytime we come down to the airport.. Wish it was close to our home but we will be making special trips for sure! I had the Brown stew chicken, cabbage and rice and beans.. plantains too.. Amazing!

Alexia G.

Yelp
Honestly the best Jamaican food I've ever had. I'd suggest the jerk chicken, rice&beans

Kennedi L.

Yelp
Food was delicious . If you like spicy spicy food , you would love this place . Chicken has the right amount of jerk flavor . Definitely recommend if you are looking for a Jamaican spot !

Brittany H.

Yelp
Any time that I'm in the Atlanta area, I know that there's a rare chance that I won't find food that I like. Imagine my surprise when I discovered not only an authentic Jamaican restaurant, but one that was fully stocked when I was ready to place my order! If you're active on Twitter like I am, then you know the running joke abt Jamaican restaurants: the staff is rude & the inventory is low. That wasn't the case with this restaurant. I ordered the curry goat & instead of putting it over rice & beans, I opted to try it on top of a bed of cabbage with some sweet plantains on the side. Everything abt my order was beyond phenomenal. It was flavorful & plentiful - it's definitely the dish that makes you sad once it's gone. I will be returning the next time I'm in ATL.

Trea E.

Yelp
Some good curry chicken I have gotten food from here like 3 times so far and every time it's so good. One time my husband went and got it other times I used a delivery service . If You're in Forest Park on Old Dixie try this Jamaican spot out . When I get the mood for curry chicken this is when I go the chicken is seasoned so good rice and cabbage cooked well and the food is nice and hot.

Shannelle W.

Yelp
Just left from trying this place out , I was waiting on a friend to come in from the airport an was feeling for Caribbean food and wanted to kill time so i stopped by to check this place out because it had a few good reviews . . . So let's just say it was ok not to bad at all i had the curry chicken , peas and rice with a side of macaroni which was actually really good specially for it to be around 8 o'clock at night it tasted so fresh and cheesy idk about you but cheesy Mac and cheese is bomb .

Shaun S.

Yelp
I ordered the Curry Chicken with Cabbage and collard greens and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed it!

Chris T.

Yelp
Tried this place on Saturday. I ordered the lunch special of jerk chicken and large curry goat. The lunch special is everyday and comes with a can drink. The food was delicious. The chicken was tender and fell off the bone and the right spice. The goat was my favorite; it was cooked with potatoes :) The place is clean. Sits in a plaza with a gas station connected. Customer Service was nice, considering I was in a mood, but he stayed courteous. Glad to find and happy to support!!

Kirstyn M.

Yelp
Food is AMAZING! It's very hard to find good food AND a clean establishment in Atlanta but this one meets that criteria. I had the jerk wings and my husband had the brown stew chicken. We also got the chicken tenders for our son. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Even the chicken tenders. They were not the basic frozen Tyson tenders most restaurants serve which was a pleasant surprise. Jerk wings were fire. Brown stew chicken was off the charts. We also enjoyed the cabbage and Mac and cheese. This is now our go-to Jamaican spot. Service was much better than typical Jamaican restaurants. We didn't wait long at all but it seemed like most folks call in and their orders were ready. 10/10!

Mysti J.

Yelp
This is one of the worst Jamaican spots ever. The food was tooo salty, no real flavor so they just put a bunch of salt in it. Got the brown stewed chicken and it was to salty and had a very sweet syrup like taste. Also got curry chicken and it was too salty, the rice n peas were salty, so I knew then they are covering up what is lacking with authentic flavor with salt. I will say this, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THERE AGAIN!!

Gigi F.

Yelp
Looks can truly be deceiving when you look at the outside of this place but please don't be fooled.... Its absolutely amazing place to eat Jamaican food there so many spices and With a tremendous amount of portions ... They will have you keep coming back for more. this spot less than 15 minutes from the Atlanta airport a must for those who have never tried it before as soon as you get off that plane you need to take a trip to this place.

Ike G.

Yelp
The food was delicious! I admit I'm not a big Jamaican food eater but when I find a spot that I know will provide great tasting food I stuck with it. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken and my wife ordered the Curry Chicken they both were amazing!! The chicken was fall off the bone good. Rice was hot and soft not mushy. And the cabbage had the right amount of season and favor. We also ordered a side of Mac and Cheese and it was cheesy and and noodle were tender and you can't go to a Jamaican spot without trying a beef patty and I'll just say, if I'm ever just passing by this place I'm probably picking up one or two for the road. Definitely recommend trying this place!!!

Ashley C.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I always order from this restaurant. The lunch specials is all day which is great if you are on a budget .

Farnicia T.

Yelp
I love this place! I usually go when I'm in the city. The oxtails are always tender and the jerk chick is always juicy. I definitely recommend it!

Mrs. T.

Yelp
Ordered through Uber eats and I wasn't disappointed....Jerk chicken was very flavorful rice and peas good too ... yummy

Tamika L.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! My husband and I just flew back home from Miami! He wanted Jamaican. I googled what was near by, found this place. The food was every bit of Ahhhhh-Mazingggg! We will definitely be back. Food, customer service, & the cleanliness...

S M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious! The jerk chicken was superb. And also all the sides Were great - the greens, the cabbage, the mac & cheese, and even the rice. For example you know how at some places they just throw on the rice just as an extra but nothing special. Well even the rice was special and full of flavor. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Britt W.

Yelp
Stop sleeping on this restaurant their food is delicious and they have a lunch special that runs all day! Freshly made

Jasmine B.

Yelp
I recently visited this place and it was surprisingly good and the lady was helpful with choosing the food. My significant other and I both tried going there again twice since our first time because we enjoyed it. However every time we have gone they close early which is very displeasing due to one day it was 3PM and the restaurant wasn't supposed to close until 10PM the other day we can at 9PM and they were closed but yet again the hours said they close at 10PM. I understand things happen but this makes it hard to support small businesses when they are not following their business hours to get the service you are trying to give. Good food but bad hours just my opinion

Shona M.

Yelp
It was heaven on a plate I had the curry chicken with rice and plantains it was hot and fresh and the plate was overflowing, it was enough food for me to eat and enjoy twice I'd definitely recommend them to anybody

Marcela A.

Yelp
Free delivery, the food was amazing!! Definitely going to have to save this restaurant as a "favorite" so I can order the next time I'm in Atlanta. Even the kids loved it (and they're picky). 3 orders of jerk chicken. We are every bite of it.

Kazuki N.

Yelp
Jerk chicken fried rice is a really good! And all stuff is so frendly! I exactly come back here soon.

Serene J.

Yelp
As much as I like the food I will never go to this spot again in life. I went there today and ordered a $9 Lunch special and a medium rice and cabbage. I told the rude broad at the front who took my order that I wanted rice and cabbage. I look on the ticket and noticed it said beans and rice which I don't eat, I kindly went to the counter and explained that I only wanted the rice because when I placed my order I specifically told this rude broad no I only want rice and cabbage. She goes to the back and then comes back and says the guy already made the beans and rice. I told her I don't eat beans and rice and she had the nerve to get smart with me and said 'you should have said that and was walking away still being smart." I hope her rude arse gets fired because she had no reason to get smart with me even after a had repeated my order when I first placed it more than once. Due to her rude attitude I am going to call and ensure I speak to a manager because she made them lose a customer.

Loredana S.

Yelp
Excellent food! King Fish is so juicy..curry chicken is perfect and all the sides are delicious!

Damon G.

Yelp
Is the best jerk spit ever oxtails definitely banging you haven't had jamaican unless you been here

Sheila H.

Yelp
We lucked up on this one! After reading reviews I decided I was gonna try them out tonight! Went there and was greeted nicely by the woman at counter as soon as we walked in, the place was spotless clean And to top this experience off the food was so good! This place is a hidden gem! Everyone in the family got something different and Everything was Delicious! We have a new favorite spot now! Brown Stew Chicken Curry Chicken and Oxtails oh my goodness delicious!!!!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Everything! The food is delicious and gives me everything I need as far as Jamaican food.

Sidney H.

Yelp
Great Jamaican food!!! I had the Brown Stew Fish and the collard greens!!! The Brown Stew Fish very good and the collard greens were amazing!!! Definitely will be back

Kiarra S.

Yelp
This is my favorite Jamaican restaurant I've tried so far. I ordered the oxtails with rice& peas & cabbage and a side of jerk chicken. Everything was amazing.

Sophia N.

Yelp
Yummy food, friendly service. The brown stew chicken and the oxtails had the same sauce, I was expecting a totally different taste but the only difference was the meat.

Kim W.

Yelp
No, nope, nope, nope, NO!!!!!......I have been coming to this restaurant since June and I usually love the food. But I went this past Friday and ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. When I got home and started eating...after eating a few spoonfuls of cabbage, I noticed it had a funny taste. I stopped eating and an hour after eating....I was in the bathroom all night. I was sick all day Saturday and I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room. Finally Sunday I started feeling a little better. The cabbage is what did me in and I can not and will not support this restaurant again.

Shanique B.

Yelp
I love the plantains and cabbage who ever makes the food on the day I good do it right
