Dan Stein, New Orleans Sandwich Hero and ‘Queer Eye’ Star, Injured in Car-Jacking | Eater New Orleans

"I found a promising new stall in Marigny’s St. Roch Market: Everything Spice, from chef Vishal Kotagiri (a Culinary Academy of India graduate), specializes in multi‑regional Indian food with a menu of curry bowls, kathi rolls, snacks like bhel puri, and desserts, and is now open daily beginning at 11 a.m." - Clair Lorell

I love Indian food & took my friend to Everything Spice to try it for the first time; we both loved everything. We had the dosa, paneer, chicken and shrimp skewers. The whole menu down to the sauce was homemade and service was top notch. So good we came back at the end of the night for round 2. So delicious & pairs well with the local bars watermelon mojito or gingerita 🤤

Best Indian food I’ve had in the past year! I really loved all of options they had and was surprised they had so much to choose from since they were a food stand. I had a sampler platter with a friend but my favorites were the Paneer Pasanda, Kori Sukka, Paneer Croquettes, Badam Shake, and all of the Chutneys (Sweet tamarind, green & sweet, & mint). If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in a casual, fun atmosphere you definitely need to try this spot in St. Roch Market!

Got two kanduri chicken entrees and one was great and the other was really bitter. The apricot dessert was great, even had gold flakes on top. The vanilla ice cream tasted generic beneath the chai sauce- not worth $8-9, whatever it was.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant Everything Spice in St Roch Market. The food is amazing and i can taste the richness of gravy, felt like having home food after so long. I would recommend everyone to visit.

Great Indian - including South Indian a in the New Orleans area. We ordered a Bhel Puri for an appetizer and the portions were generous, the textures and tastes contrasting and fresh. We also ordered Paneer Pasanda and the Malabar Veg Stew as our entree and it came with big portions of rice. They were on the spicier side, so make sure to inquire if they can tone it down to suit your tastes. But the tastes were fabulous, the flavors were complex and spot on. We talked to the owner and learned that he had just opened this month (June 2023) so they really streamlined their service in a short period of time - we got our orders in under 10 minutes! All in all - a great new pop up in NOLA serving a selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts from all over India, go show them some love, you will not regret it.

Probably my favorite Indian restaurant in New Orleans. I definitely plan to go back and try the other dishes - the flavor is very rich and satisfying. I had the badam shake which was sweet and delectable and creamy and the kanduri chicken which had a really nice combination of spices!

Great Indian food and friendly service. The Dahi Puri was SO good. Plan to go back for that while we are in New Orleans. The Chicken Gulab was creamy and mild. I liked that they had different dishes than most Indian restaurants that have the same standard menus. Highly recommend, especially dahi puri which was a very generous serving and so tasty.

Absolutely incredible food and lovely people making it! The food was delicious and their menu features a lot of Indian dishes that I don’t normally see on a typical menu in the states. Particularly loved the Kanduri Chicken. Highly recommend stopping by for some food!
