EVO Brickoven (Mt. Airy)

I just doordashed this place and it was still so good and fresh when it arrived. This is my new spot. The dough is so fluffy and has the perfect thickness. I got the vodka penne and it came with an incredibly fresh salad and warm and doughy piece of bread. I am so impressed.

First time trying EVO Brick Oven Pizza and I was genuinely impressed. The crust was brushed with garlic butter (a delicious touch), and the cheese was hot, flavorful, and perfectly melty. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff were super friendly and the service was smooth from start to finish. I also loved the cozy vibe—there were cute plants tucked around the space, plus dog treats and lollipops by the counter, which felt like such a sweet, welcoming gesture. Prices are a bit higher than my usual pizza spots, but honestly, the flavor and freshness made it worth it. Great pizza overall—I’d definitely eat here again.

Have had their pizza a few times and I’m not necessarily a fan of stuff that goes on the bottom of the dough. Had their chicken Stromboli tonight: inside is chicken red onions green peppers and sauce with sauce on the side. This was not good at all. Very much edible. Good dough, good cheese, yet the sauce was lacking in flavor, the veggies were not cooked which made the entire experience unpleasant. With the lack of seasoning in the sauce, I don’t see myself finishing the rest of this had a craving for pizza and all this did was make me regret the $19 spent and wish I would’ve went to the gym instead. Wouldn’t recommend the Strombolis. Pizza I would say is good just an acquired taste. I like that they have milkshakes and sell plants that’s adorable

Pizza has great flavor. And they have a nice varieties of pies. But after 2 very undercooked incidents of Stromboli and pizza, I’m moving on. This time we got pale crust on the bottom with raw dough under sauce and that just isn’t tasty. Cheesesteak boli was wet. Fell apart when picked up. Oh well….

I love their pizza and it's awesome. The problem is that they seldom seem to be open anymore. Of the last five times I have tried to order pizza over the past month or so (and during their normal hours) they answer the phone then say they are closed or not taking orders (including twice at 6pm), they have a family event or simply they "are having issues". Unfortunately, there is no alternative pizza in Mount Airy anywhere near as good as Evo Pizza

Jeez. I mean, I guess I can understand that it gets busy on a Friday night, they told me 1 HOUR when I called in my order of one pizza, mozzarella sticks, and cheese fries. OK, I show up an hour later; I'm standing there for 25 more minutes until I get my food. I guess the pizza's fine but my fries and mozz stix were obviously just sitting in the pass for a half hour. Also, not to be petty or anything -- i get that childcare is challenging -- but is there really no better place for your toddler on a busy night than right in the middle of the pizza shop?

Best pizza I’ve had in years , Worth every penny! The crust on the pizza reminded me of breadstick that I have it taste in a decade. Authentic ,juicy and fresh ingredients, Crispy crust But not hard

They have been in business for 7 years and this is my first time there. Excellent plain pizza in the old-fashioned NY Italian style. Very good. I will be back.

Delicious fra diavolo seafood pasta with linguini! I ordered extra sauce because their sauce is amazing! Yum!

I was visiting family in the area and asked if there was a good pizza place and she recommended Evo. I ordered online and picked up. It was hot and smelled so absolutely delicious that I had to have a quick piece before I got on the road and it tasted as delicious as it smelled. My cousin suggested I ask for less sauce but I didn't and it was good as it was. The crust was light and delicious. I would definitely recommend and will return next time I'm in the area.

We ordered on Grubhub and we're Upcharged due to Grubhub not updating their new menu. We ordered based on the prices listed on the platform you put your business on. We shouldn't have to absorb the charges of your issues with Grubhub. They refused to adjust the price. Please be cautious

Hey guys Heyyyyy! Ok, listen....I'm only giving them 2 stars based off of what I ordered and ate. I didn't try their pizza yet so don't come for me LOL. I fell from the smell and looks of this Evo Brickoven when we walked in, the pizza is going to be amazing, but as far as their Greek salad....NO BUENO!!! The lettuce Smdh The small amount of olives Smdh, The shrimp which I paid an extra 6.00 for were miniature and I only got 6. The dressing was good! I had to make my own salad the following day to feel ok with spending 20.00 for a fake Greek salad. I will not be back to order one of those, but I will go and try the pizzas! The service was also cool. Based off of my salad and my salad ONLY 3/10

Solid three stars. Wish I could rate higher (bc I live nearby), but the crust is mediocre and sauce wasn't spectacular. Customer service is solid, however, and I'm rooting for them.

No shade, but you really can't give me pizza outside of Jersey and NYC and expect me to stan. EVO's pizza did what it needed to do. It was good in a non-NY-style sort of way. But those mozzarella sticks had my tastebuds jumping for joy. If you're a mozzarella sticks lover, you know exactly what these tastes like based on the picture.

Pretty solid pizza with a great crispy crust. Staff was very friendly. Will return again.

We ordered Eve for a recent backyard party and it was perfect. We ordered well in advance to make sure that it was ready in time and it was perfect and their right when we needed it. We always find their pizza to be what feels indulgent and it's what we recognize as our home pizza as it's the closest to our house.

Medium cheese pizza Fires Mild wings -10 Coming from Harrisburg and couldn't find a pizza spot so the was the nearest one and I would THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This will be the only pizza spot I'm ordering from

Pretty much the only option near my house. 25$ for medium combo extra mushroom. It's heavy pizza without the taste for sure. Dave Portnoy would give a 3.

I started ordering from them regularly after my other preferred pizza place closed. The pizza's great - BUT the customer service occasionally falls short. I order delivery and sometimes they pick up and put you immediately on hold. Be prepared for a long wait when this happens (up to 5 - 6 minutes). Just now, I was out on hold for over 6 minutes, only to he told AT THAT POINT that they weren't taking delivery orders. Maybe tell your customers this before leaving them on hold!

We got take out from here while staying nearby at our kids home. It's nice to be able to walk to get the food. The sauce is delicious and the ingredients are yummy but I feel like thedough/crust needs something. Overall a decent pizza.

I was craving a vodka Pizza for 2 weeks lol and I finally found the right place, the pizza smelled like heaven and tasted so good . The vodka sauce tasted home made packed with flavor !

I have been in search of a good pizza place in my area. I heard good things and oh MY. The dough and crust has the perfect infusion of garlic and olive oil. I ordered a cheese and a meat lover's pizza. The signature taste and dough was the same for both pizzas and married the sauce and cheese and even the toppings in every savory bite. Even when I had leftovers the pizza was STILL delicious. I will definitely will order again

Great pasta and stomboli. I havent been here in a while because the service/ food was always a little "off". Either the food was great but.... I had to wait forever, or I was told no delivery to my address even though they would deliver to my Mother's address 1 1/2 blocks away from my house. I would go pick up and get treated like they thought i was trying to rob the place. Or, I'd have an event-free ordering experience and a sucky meal. The delivery inconsistencies finally broke me. So, I gave up for a few years. Coming back, noticed the interior has changed, so it's not really dine-in any longer. Thing is, I LOVE ravioli with alfredo sauce, but I dont want to make it all the time. So i decided to give it another shot. The ravioli was great, pepperoni stromboli was delicious, but I was most impressed that they upgraded they garlic bread. I was REALLY expecting a just a soggy kaiser roll with margarine but, it was pretty decent. I'm one of those people who expects to receive and enjoy salad with my meal and I was not disappointed. Raspberry white chocolate cake was fabulous.

Everything I've had from Evo tastes great, especially their pizzas and Stromboli's, service is awesome and prompt, , you'll love it. I highly recommend recommend this place

This review is for delivery only! Evo Brickoven is located on Mt. Pleasant Ave. Right off of Lincoln Drive. I have been ordering from them for about 6 months. Every time I call, they are pleasant, and every efficient about taking my order. From start to finish, it takes them about 60 minutes to get to my door. The pizza is always hot and delicious! We usually order the meat lover pizza with onions which is always good. My husband is a meat eater so we add extra meat. They always get it right :) My daughter is vegan, she will get the Veggie pizza special. They even have non-dairy cheese. Unfortunately, they charge more for the non-dairy cheese :( Put she says it's worth it. The one thing I love about their pizza is the crust. Maybe it's because I'm a bread lover, but the crust reminds me of a soft pretzel. I wind up eating the whole slice :( Because their crust is so good, I would also recommend the EVO special stromboli (steak and pepperoni). Crispy on the outside soft and yummy on the inside. And it goes along way. Enough for a few meals. They get 4 stars because the hot wings are just ok. They are small and dry. I tried them more than once and they always taste the same. I would highly recommend the pizza and stromboli at EVO"S Brickoven.

Pizza was pretty good. It was a typical pizza, not anything outstanding. Delivery was on time and our pizza was hot which was great! Enjoyed it overall.

My sons just ordered from Evo tonight and normally we are pleased with their food. HOWEVER, tonight we ordered a cheesesteak and it will definitely be our last time. What they gave us is a baby cheesesteak. Needless to say my teenagers are overwhelmingly disappointed. UPDATE: I called and they credited my kiddo's account. That was awesome of them to credit my kid's account, and I instantly have happy teenagers I'll let you know how the next one turns out.

My only request is that they stay open longer! Their pizza is a work of sensory art you have to personally experience. The wings are fried to perfection and not over seasoned. The cheese stakes are not anemic like most these days! The staff is professional and courteous. The best pizza I have ever had! I've never been to Italy but I'd bet this place comes close.

We ordered five pizzas for a family gathering and they were fantastic. The crust was delicious and the toppings were high quality. The staff were friendly and communicative. I was so happy that they offer vegan cheese and gluten-free crusts so that everyone in our family can enjoy the pizza!

Pizza was good. I respect their boundaries during the pandemic. I was totally confused by their pick up procedure though. The inside of the place looks a mess but the pizza tastes fresh. They do deliver but the wait is far too long. I don't mind being patient and ordering before I actually get really hungry. Anyway the seasoned crusty is really tasty and the sauce they use tastes homemade. So it's a good choice if you're not in a rush to eat.

We had a birthday party down the road at the circus school, and we needed some pizzas. I found Evo and thought I'd try, since other reviews were good. They turned out to be one of the best pizzas anyone at the party had ever had! Two large...gone in about 10 minutes (eaten mostly by the parents!). Of all the cool things about having a circus-themed birthday party, most of the compliments I got were for the pizza! They even offered to double-slice the pizza to make sure there was enough, which was perfect. Also, I asked for them to be delivered at 12:00PM, and they were there literally to the minute and the pies were piping hot! Really a perfect experience!

Good pies and best value in the area. Small pizza place, better for takeout due to limited seating.

Updating my previous 4-star review: Bravo, Evo! Have recently ordered pizzas for delivery - Mediterranean and Margherita pizzas. Please see photos. A good, honest, basic pizza, but delivered piping hot. The online order earliest available delivery time was perhaps just a way to manage expectations - the order arrived 45 minutes early! I'm not complaining. Previous order was the result of a Deputy Yelper sheltering with me (a south Philly type carnivore, what can I say?), and she had a hankering for a Philly cheese steak. I decided to give Evo a test order, just one cheese steak. We went with the American cheese, but requested extra cheese, and in the comment section, requested fried onions and light mayo. The Grubhub application was very easy to use, including the addition of a tip for delivery (delivery charge itself is only $2.50, I think) - I requested "no contact" delivery. They projected a delivery time about more than an hour later, which was fine. About 10 minutes ahead of schedule, I got the call from the delivery person. The sandwich, carefully wrapped (I appreciated their biodegradable packaging) was by the front door, with the delivery person watching from their car to make sure I got it okay. They got the order exactly right, and it was still warm. Fresh roll (Amoroso type roll perhaps) which is what really counts. Carnivore comfort food heaven! Thank you, Evo! Five stars.

This is a little spot down the street form my house. They do a variety of items including pizza (duh), salads, burgers, even pasta. My favorite item to get is the garlic Parmesan wings. They are huge and so juicy! Also they aren't breaded which makes them keto friendly. A great little local spot!

Exceptionally delicious and generous pizzas and salads. French fry combinations that are not to be believed. Tasty wings and chicken parm sub. Definitely coming back!!

So far I have only had the cheese pizza and pepperoni. The cheese was actually better than the pepperoni. I've been looking for a good pizza place in Germantown area for years. Yes, years. A lot of places don't have enough sauce. Other not enough cheese. Or if you have to reheat it, it just taste weird. Evo pizza taste fresh. The balance of sauce and cheese is perfect. Absolutely delicious.

I'm hooked on their Margherita Pizza. It's a little pricey, but the quality is totally worth it. It is soooo fresh. Also ordered a house salad which was a good portion size, but for $9 it ought to be huge!

We have eaten their pizza before, and it is good. No problem there. Never did get the pizza this time because I could never get the order in. I called at 6 p.m. to place an order. There is a recording with horrible "music" and two recorded voices, one a man and one a woman, who keep saying "Hold the line; we'll be right back with you" or "Please stay on the line. We'll be back in a moment." They are lies! I held the phone to my ear for 40 minutes and must have heard those lines 50 times! No one ever came to the phone. I don't understand how you can do business like that? NEVER come to the phone??? Why do they even have a phone? I thought about ordering online, but I do not trust them to get that right. If they will not answer their phone, how can I trust them to check an online order?

The pizza was beautiful and delicious. I also got a Greek salad that was excellent. Highly recommend

We've had Evo pizza a few times, including for events, and have enjoyed it. This weekend, I called at 11 on Saturday, which is when they're supposed to open, to put in an order of several pizzas for a party. They don't have online ordering, or else I would have ordered at least a day before online. The person who answered (owner?) said they weren't opening until 12 because they were short staffed. I wanted to know if I called back at 12 to pick up at 12:45 if they would be able to accommodate the order. He was both unwilling to answer and extremely rude. I asked if I should go elsewhere, and he said yes and hung up on me. I understand that he may have been stressed out because of staffing issues, but it seems the core of a pizza business to know if you can make 3 or 4 pizzas with 45 minutes notice. I went elsewhere and that is what I'll do in the future too.

I just moved to the area and I was craving pizza one night and this stop happened to be 3 mins away. I'm so happy I found it and gave it shot because some of the comments where starting to put me off but I'm glad I went and tried it. The pizza was really good ,I ordered half margarita and half plain , and the wings "THE WINGS" were to die for. Definitely will come back. I picked up so I'm not sure how delivery works, and staff was super friendly and the price really for so much food. Tho I will say that they put a lot of cheese in their pizza, alottt of it. I guess that's their "thing"? A if you are more of a sauce person, like my boyfriend, you might want to ask for less cheese. But def will be coming back!

My co-workers and I ordered delivery from Evo Brickoven Pizza while on a retreat in the Mt. Airy area, and it was pretty disappointing. The four of us shared two salads and one pizza. We got the Greek Salad without anchovies and the Avocado Spinach Salad without bacon. The avocado and hard-boiled egg on the Avocado Spinach Salad were definitely not fresh. The salads each came with a slice of garlic bread, which was so stale and bland to the point where none of us could eat them (and this is a group of people who all hold a philosophy of finishing everything on your plate). We all shared the Margherita Pizza, which was actually pretty tasty, but the cheese was scarce. In summary, the pizza was good and the rest was not.

This place has quickly became one of my favorites in the area to get pizza at! I fully recommend trying one of their specialty pizzas as they have so many good choices to choose from. I highly recommend trying the DaVinci pie that is nothing like you have seen on other menus. Their pizzas is cooked nicely with a crispy puffy crust that is garnished with a brilliantly light brushing of garlic butter to make sure you enjoy every last bite of the pie!

We ordered from Evo once several years ago when we first moved to the neighborhood and weren't happy with our pizza (can't recall exactly why). Recently, we had friends over that were craving a chicken parm hoagie and Evo was the closest place that had the goods, so we decided to give them another shot. I ordered online picked the food up using their curbside service. The food was ready in the time promised and I had no issues with pickup. We ordered chicken parm hoagie, Evo wrap, fries, and a cheese pizza. I did not partake in the hoagies or wrap, but everyone seems to be pleased with their selections. The pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about, however I would order it again. The fries were your typical flash frozen coated fries, but were fried perfectly and didn't get too soggy in the styrofoam container. Overall, we're glad we gave Evo a second chance and will order again when looking for classic pizzeria favorites.

I've driven pass this place several times and figured I should give it a try. I decided to place an order for delivery though rather than physically going to the restaurant. I wasn't in the mood for pizza, but saw that Evo had several other options on their menu. My final selection was a slice of carrot cake and the mega fries. It took about an hour to get delivered, which was long in my opinion. However, this was the estimated arrival time I was given so it was expected. When my order arrived to me, the delivery man took my mega fries out of an insulated delivery bag which kept my fries warm (WOO HOO!) My carrot cake was in a separate brown paper bag. I was definitely pleased with the serving size of the fries. They were a lot bigger than I expected. Before even opening them I can feel how heavy they were. The mega fries are a bed of fries topped with cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella cheese and bacon pieces! They were heavenly. The size of the cake slice was exactly what I expected. The perfect amount! It had golden raisins instead of regular raisins which was a nice change. Since my first time trying it was such a great experience, I plan on ordering from here again. Next time I plan to go in person though and try their pizza and pepperoni stromboli!!

Literally everything I have had this far has not disappointed. I love Wings, but these are not just wings. These are beyond delicious! 1st tried the Lemon Pepper and then Garlic Parmesan. That one will have you licking your fingers and wanting to have something else to polish off the rest on cell you've eaten your last. Today .... Mango Habenaro .... So good!!! Ordered the bruschetta fries and strawberry milkshake to help with those wings!!!! This place is must if you're looking for great wings and the pizza!!!!! #Forgetaboutit

So I been ordering so much food from this place don't get me wrong their food it's great but over 3 times they burned my chicken parm pasta platter and today I call and complaint and the owner basically said she was the one who check my order and nothing wrong with my parm and then said please I'll send you your money back and we call it a day and don't call back and neber order there she don't care if I spend trillion dollars when I order I did raise my voice and curse her out cause as a chef my self why would you turn any costumer away and tell em some bs like that you as a costumer and if you read my review please look at the pictures and be the judge

Pretty good pizza overall. The crust was a little underdone for our liking, but it made for a really good reheat! We had the antipasto pizza and the salsiccia. Both great choices. We also ordered wings, and holy moly, they were great! Lots of chicken, not too breaded, and the medium sauce actually a medium heat. Definitely recommend!

Cheesesteak platter was horrible barely gave any fries.. I wouldn't recommend it. I will try their pizza next I think that's their specialty

Long time customer and this is my second review. Three years after my first review EVO is still 5 star! The veggie Stromboli is beyond sexy and their pizza remains my delivery standard. (I do like making homemade pizza) My family opted to order Easter dinner from these guys... salad, pasta, eggplant parm AND dessert - we LOVED IT!!! Thinking back the worst meal I ever had from EVO was extra delish and rest were even better. They remember I have a dog and occasionally throw in a couple large milk bones. The chocolate cake is damn fine too.
