Went to see a movie with my partner, showed up early and had some drinks at the bar. Place was clean and bartender Vanessa was super kind, friendly, and attentive! She was very knowledgeable about the place and gave great recommendations of what food to order. Definitely appreciated her hospitality for my first time there, and will be back! ☺️

The 5 star review is for the bartenders, Vanessa and Clay! They are so welcoming and warm every time we are here. They always remember what we prefer to order and go above and beyond to make our kids feel special. Every time we arrive they greet us all (kids too) by name and go out of their ways to ensure we have everything we need.

I wanted to compliment Dwayne, the gentleman that helped us in the gaming area. He found out it was my son's 7th birthday and made a big deal about all the tickets that he won playing games. He mentioned that he had a 7-year-old sister and talked about the things that she liked and bonded with my son immediately. He was super personable, very professional, and put a smile on my kid's faces. The type of service that he provided and professionalism that he showed is one of the main reasons we will come back and be a customer again in the future.

Hooky has been my and my husband's favorite spot for years. Great food, fun games, intimate bowling lanes, and plenty of movie screens. So, whatever mood we're feeling for date night, Hooky has us covered. On top of all that and a comfy environment, the staff is amazing. So friendly and such great service. Venessa and Clay in particular are the best bartenders and servers ever. They're always attentive when we come in and we've gotten to know them over the past couple years. It is such a nice thing to have people we trust and enjoy there for us when we come in. Can't rave enough about those 2 and Hooky as a location in general for a relaxing but fun time.

We really like coming here to see movies. Very streamline process to buy tickets online, a barcode is sent to email (we buy as a guest and don't have an account). Scan barcode at the theater kiosk to print tickets or go to the counter and they will print them for you. We've been to theater 8, which has no stairs; all seats are on the main floor, the seats are staged in a way were your view of the screen is unobstructed. We've also seen a movie recently in theater 5 which is stadium seating. Both theaters seats recline and have moveable tray tables with drink holders. Popcorn and soft drinks are self serve and refillable without additional charge. Bathrooms were clean and employees were friendly. We love they offer flashback movies from the 80'-2000's in addition to new releases. Student, military and senior pricing available. Lots of parking and walkway ramps to use instead of stairs to enter/exit building.

Absolutely amazing experience From the food to the service, everything was top tier. I had the quesadillas, beignets, fries, chicken strips, and mac and cheese and every single bite was delicious. The service was outstanding. Before I could even finish my Sprite, a fresh one was already brought to me without even having to ask. The seats were super comfortable and the movie quality was A1. I think I found my new go to spot for movies. I’ll definitely be back.

AMAZING!!! This place has it all I definitely recommend everyone in the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan to check out this incredible place. If you’re looking for some to relax while your kids have fun this is the perfect place for it. Evo Entertainment has bowling, video arcade, zip lining, movie theater, food and the most important a bar. Plus so many different shops all around the area for the wife to shop.

Vanessa was amazing but Kirby had an attitude at the bar. Will go back and get serviced by her but not him. When I asked “Kirby” to have my beer dressed his response was “Well do you want a tutu with that”. Horrible customer service for a bartender then proceeded to give my partner an attitude as well. Bottom line, he shouldn’t be in any form of customer service!! Great place!

It's a tradition in my family to see a movie in theatres on Christmas day ... and this year we visited EVO in Southlake for a late night showing of Wicked. I had never been to this theatre before, but I'm pleased to say that it's definitely a spot I would return to! Parking was easy and free in a nearby garage. EVO is actually part of the expansive Southlake Town Square (read: outdoor shopping center). Along with movie theatres, EVO boasts and arcade, bowling alleys, and so much more. This seems like it would be a popular spot for a family-friendly birthday party. We purchased our tickets online in advance, although there wasn't much of a crowd when we arrived around 9 PM. I absolutely love that the popcorn is "self-serve" - we were able to layer the butter exactly how we like it! The team members we interacted with were extremely friendly as well. The theatres themselves are big and comfortable - complete with large reclining chairs and seat heaters. There's even a dedicated dining area for folks who'd prefer to order a meal to their seat. We didn't opt for this service this time around, but it's good to know!

We went here to bowl with the granddaughters aged 6 and 5. The staff was really nice helping us find the right size of bowling balls absolutely setting up the lane for little kids. We bowled for an hour and then decided to let them play some video games. They have such an amazing collection of things to do. The girls climbed the climbing walls. It was awesome. They were really high up and so brave. The guy working the climbing area was so great with the girls. They also have bumper cars and a ropes course but the girls weren't tall enough to do either of those. We will have to go back in a few years to try those. The girls loved it and so did we.

This review is specific to the bowling! EVO is a super cool concept - bowling, arcade, and movie theater all-in-one! We came here on a weeknight evening for bowling. Getting a lane was very easy and there was no wait. Bowling is $30 per hour, which is a tad bit more expensive than I'm used to paying, but not too bad! The gentlemen who got us set up was helpful and walked us to our lane to explain how to order food if we wanted to. He came by to check on us once to see if we needed anything, which was nice! On another note, the lanes have shoe racks built into the tables, so your shoes have a place to be as you play! The reason for 4/5 stars had to do with cleanliness. It looked like people had eaten in our area before we played and the floor wasn't cleaned. This is minor, but still would have liked the table to at least be clean! tl;dr - nice place to bowl in Southlake! Could be a bit cleaner, but I would come back!

This entertainment c NYT is pretty sweet. There is so much going on inside, including a small zip lining area. There's an entire game area that's unbelievable. There's also a restaurant that's inside and outside, and has large screens for tv viewing. The theaters are LARGE with recliners and pods. Lots of room to stretch out. So much sound the chairs shake. The popcorn and drinks are self-serve, so I was shocked that they ask for tips. Of course it's up to you if you tip or not -- you could always tip yourself. But once inside in the recliners, you can order food to be delivered. That'd be a good time to tip.

Came out with my family, it was our first time here and we were celebrating my mom's birthday. The drinks were good, the cake was yummy and the place was so clean. Ashton and Jacob were extremely nice and helpful! Such a GREAT and AMAZING experience. Ashton let us know about everything there is to do at EVO Entertainment, let us know about the new menu plus helped so much in making my mom's birthday special. Everyone made us feel welcomed and made sure my family enjoyed their time. I really recommend to bring your family for bowling and games here, it was so much fun! Everyone had a great time. We'll definitely be back!

What a nice surprise. My sister-in-law suggested we take in a movie at EVO. We had never been. The ticket prices were very reasonable. We decided to order some food in theater. The popcorn was meh, tasted a bit old which was odd in a theater. The Icee was served in plastic cups with no lids which was great for adults, not so much for kids. We had one hit the floor, ug. The burger was average. The wings were very meaty and tasty, best thing we had. The popcorn and Icees had free refills but you had to go refill them yourself which was confusing since the app had you click for a refill at the time of order. On my order which was popcorn, 3 Icees and one burger that came with fries with tip was $65. Yikes! After the movie, of course the kids wanted to play games. They had a huge variety. I saw a bowling alley but the lanes were booked. Laser tag was available. I saw bumper cars but they weren't on. Definitely a lot of activities.

Don't try to call or ever talk to anyone in any department or leave a message because the voicemails are always full. It would sure be nice for them to answer the phone.

EVO has a lot going on inside such as a arcade area, a restauraunt area and movie theater. They have a couple of areas for parking. My friend and I came here to watch the IF movie. I ordered tickets online and was unable to print my tickets at the kiosk. I asked a staff member about checking in and he informed us we could just walk in. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The movie was heartfelt and sweet, we enjoyed it. The prices for food and tickets were expensive. However I would return to check out another movie.

Cozy seats and yummy food. I came here to watch a movie with friends and it was great. The theater is in a central location just south of Hwy 114. I ordered the Veggie Flatbread and Sprite and it was served quickly. I will be back.

This was our first time visiting the Evo in Southlake, my family enjoyed watching Inside out 2 in premium dine in room. Service was great and our food was very tasty! I can definitely see us coming here frequently with our kids. Seats are functional and super comfy!

Great place to hang out. Kids watched a movie, I worked in the common area. They have a nice outdoor space (however loud so do not expect to work there), they have a great bowling area, bumper cars and arcades. The arcades were plentiful albeit high in cost per game and a few were down for repairs. There is a typical concession line but you can get a bit more than the average popcorn and softdrinks. This place does allow you to add your own butter so that is a nice touch. They also have a self serve fountain and icee station.

Omg what an absolutely horrible experience. The worst movie theater I have ever dealt with. WAY too much competition to be this incompetent. I used the app and the website to order tickets to a movie for Friday night. Neither were working and i spent 2 hours refreshing and turning off and on the sites. It seemed that 1 of my attempts may have gone through as my seats were no longer available but the site was not responding. I called 14 times until someone in a restaurant answered. She was nice but could not help me. Her recommendation was for me to drive 1 hour to buy my tickets in person. This is their solution in 2023 when everyone else has modernize. Wow! That was just awful. Hard pass!!!

Omg, I have been getting short changed at literally every movie theater I've ever been to because EVO set the standard! Cushy, comfortable seats with a HEAT option - can you believe it??!! Recline and no one remotely close enough to kick the back of your seat. The servers bring your food to your seat and the menu is bomb! Shakes, a la mode desserts, pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers- this place has it all. I was able to get a pass to see the new Indiana Jones premiere before it hits regular theaters so I was already excited. They have an arcade and bowling alley in the same entertainment center so it's fun for all ages. I'll definitely be back

Now, this is epic. Buffalo chicken pizza is pretty skibidi and you should cop fs. We played bowling and my friends got rolled by me in angry birds. .

The seats are amazing! Nice new leather, they lean back super far, they're heated, and the arm rests are high so you don't feel like you're sitting basically on top of strangers. They also have a really cool light feature you can turn on and off to read the menu!! Genius for dinner/movie theaters! Only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because my one small order of chocolate chip cookies didn't come until about 15 minutes before the movie ended even though I ordered them right when the movie started.

This place is just dirty. I saw a movie and the side of the seat was dirty. It stained my sweatshirt bright red and it won't come out. Ruined the sweater.

This movie theatre is awesome! We came here for the barbie movie. They had a pink carpet, themed drinks, photo areas ect. The inside was amazing. Super clean, well organized. They even offer heated seats, which is awesome because movies are always super cold! Even though this theater is further for me I would definitely still go to it again! An awesome place :)

We went to see the 7pm showing of King Kong in the EXV theater. The server "Karen T" provided hands down the worst service anyone could receive. She didn't know the menu and became aggressive when asking for items. Halfway through the movie, I went to the lobby to speak to a manager about the service that we were receiving because it was subpar for the $40 seats that we had just paid for. Unfortunately, in the lobby when I went to speak to a manager about her service (so we could get actual help), she approached me asking "do you have a problem with me..." Literally yes. That's why I am out of my seats that I paid $40 for. I'd obviously rather come stand in the lobby during the middle of the movie by the guest services desk just for fun.... The manager did their best to try to rectify the situation, however at the end of the movie, she delivered checks to everybody in the theater, but us. We had to get the manager again to come and close out our check because she was so petty with her behavior that she didn't even bring us the bill at the end of the movie. Not only did we miss part of the movie because of her service, but then we wasted more time after the fact, because she refused to bring us our check. If you are going to waste this kind of money of a movie ticket, don't do it here. It's not worth it.

Incredible evening for a film screening! I had the pleasure of visiting EVO Entertainment Southlake for the first time for a film screening and one word sums the entire experience - IMPRESSED! From the food to the comfort of the facilities, I was thoroughly impressed! Our server was extremely communicative and attentive, the food was served promptly before the film and the comfort of the theater was incredible. As we were in attendance for #Barbarian before it's public premiere, the theater was great in regard to comfort, sound and visual! Will be visiting again soon!

Wow! Our new favorite movie theater is EVO! The seats are the most comfortable luxury movie chairs we've enjoyed to date! The entire movie experience was luxurious. We loved the light switch ability, heated seats, the ease of ordering service and the kind servers. Anejo Smash 10/10 Watermelon Margarita 10/10 Popcorn 10/10 GF Pizza 6/10 Fish N chips 8/10 Caramel Shake 9/10 We are excited to soon enjoy the bowling alley and bumper cars as well!

VERY nice theatre in a pretty area. The theatre has a bar, arcade and area to order food. However, you can also order food from your seat inside the theatre. Food was good and drinks were good and strong. I leave far but will definitely be back.

Came for Indiana Jones. This is the second visit in two weeks and cold popcorn was served again(we even specified hot with a big please). We had some pretzels and a cheese pizza and both were nice, hot, and tasty. The Coors Lights were ice cold and the wine was tepid. For the second week in a row, the AC was inadequate. Everyone was sweating during the movie. We will be back and hope the details improve.

This experience was a huge disappointment. The facility is very cool but so understaffed to a point where most of the major experiences (ropes course, lazer tag, VR Academy, Climbing Wall), were shut down most of our time there. Whenever we tried to find a staff member to let us know the wait for any of these areas; we were always told 10-15 min bc people were on break. We'd wait around for the 15 minutes and nobody would come. Rinse and repeat for almost all the different attractions. We finally got to do one round of bumper cars within a 2 hour period but none of the other attractions opened. It was a Sunday - super frustrating.l and we spent quite a bit of money on just the games because we didn't want to wait around anymore for the bigger experiences. What would improve this place is this: 1) Signage at each attraction letting patrons know when it would be back in service OR an overall menu with a schedule letting people know what was available and when. 2) A menu outlining how much each major attraction will cost in credits (ex. Ropes Course - 24 Credits, etc.). I'm not one to typically leave negative reviews but I really feel like future customers should be aware what they are getting into (unless things change). Come for the games if you're looking for a Dave and Busters kind of experience but would not recommend it if you're coming for the "extras".

Service was none existent. Our lanes kept breaking and the tech guy had to come about 8 different times. We waited at least 10 min for him to come one of the times. No service in the lane areas and we had to wait 5 minutes for the bartender to come back to the bar. We ordered lots of appetizers and the wings were good.

I had a great time It's fun and it's clean. The temperature fine Not too hot or too cold it was a little expensive but it was worth the money

So disappointed in going here. We wanted to have a nice date night. We pre purchased our movie tickets for seating in one of their pods so we would have a server for the evening. This was a premium priced ticket. Upon arriving at the theater 30 minutes prior to showtime, the theater had yet to be cleaned from the prior showing. We hit the call server button and waited 20 minutes with no service. Finally gave up and ordered via their app. I went out to the lobby to ask about the service we paid for. The manager was at the bar and told me they were very short handed, he understood our frustration and would refund us the cost of our seats after the show. The staff finally came to clean the Theater after the previews were ending. Folks were forced to clear their own tables of trash from the previous showing. When our food finally arrived, it was wrong. We paid extra for chicken in the quesadillas. They did not have chicken in them. We couldn't order another round of draft beer from the app so one of us had to go back out to the bar to order. At the end of the movie I sought out the manager to get my refund. Turns out, he had left for the night already. Fortunately another manager was quick to provide the refund. This is the only reason I give this a 2 star instead of 1 star review. This is the last time we will come here. I expect they will be closing in 2024 if they can't improve the cleanliness and service. Word to the wise, go elsewhere.

Super reasonable pricing for bowling on a weekend! A group of 12 of us rented two lanes for two hours and it was pretty reasonable compared to a couple of other places we have been. We enjoyed the game room as well. The prices of the games seem to be on par with other places (so yeah, still expensive) I do like the service much better here compared to places like main event and alley cats. Everyone was so polite and helpful. Even the ge toe man working in the little section where kids trade in their tickets for gifts. The job that I would imagine would be the biggest headache! He was so nice! Definitely worth the drive

This review is for the arcade only. About half of my credits were wasted due to broken and malfunctioning games. Not a single 'out of order' sign in sight. When I advised staff of the games that weren't working they just said they don't have the staff available to do the required maintenance. What a waste of money. I won't be coming back.

EVO has a great concept. I think it is a great concept for date night and family day/night. How fun to be able to bowl, play arcade games, eat, drink, and see a movie all in one place! I wouldn't get the tater tots again, but they were fine and I ate them, they were just a little mushy. My husband had the fried shrimp, which he said were OK. I had the chicken tacos, which were very good. I have seen a lot of reviewers complain about the prices, but we go to a lot of different movie houses and the prices are on par. There is a huge menu selection for food and drink. That is a big plus! I would definitely recommend EVO Southlake to others. And, even though it is not the closest Moviehouse to us I would go back. I like that food can be delivered to your seat in the theater I like that the seats have heaters. I like that the seats are recliners, but they go back so far it's like you are in a bed, so I put my seat up some. The service was good. The only issue with service was the employee who delivered our food. He gave us the wrong meals. We said that they were switched and all he did was hand me my meal, while my husband's was sitting on my seat tray, and walked off. I thought that it was weird that he didn't move my husband's meal from my tray to his. The girl at the bar was exceptional; great service.

Evo - Southlake This place has been opened for a year and it's a very nice venue. They have games, bowling and of course, movies as I came to see The Covenant. Excellent movie! The food choice were wide as there is something for everyone. I had the shrimp tacos (7.5 outta 10) which were very good and popcorn (6 - way too salty) that are bottomless. On to the reason why I can't give this place 5 stars. You could tell that the server didn't want to be bothered with helping as it was very reflective in the way he engaged the order. The popcorn was the first issue, so I pressed the button and he didn't come so my friend decided to get up to get more popcorn and low and behold came back with a tub I stead of the sack that was given as my friend was told that we were supposed to get a tub. The second issue were the drinks. I ordered the jalapeno margarita and it was served in a very small glass and didn't taste that great. My friend had a margarita as well and her drink was not good. At this point, I was ready to write Evo off but then, 2 rock stars came and corrected everything. Casey and Emmy came through like the champions they are so we made sure to take care of them both (tip) and told them that they are the sole reasons that we would come back. To that server: Even though your service was not good at all, I still left you a tip. In the future, don't stereotype us just because we don't look like you. Give us the same level of service that you gave the folks to the left of us.

My very first time here and I was really impressed. Theater was really neat with cute 2 seater cubbies, you can actually order food/drinks from a waiter, the seats were nice and comfy. If you are looking for a fun date night out this place has it all! Bowling, movies, arcade, bumper cars, food and a bar. Wednesdays are half price games not sure if they advertise that anywhere. There's also happy hour drinks I think from 3-6pm. If you don't want to eat here the place is surrounded by lots of other food options and shopping. Great location! Enjoy!

I really like the new theater although I not into playing the games on the game side but I definitely could see that lots of people might be into that. Probably a dangerous place with children. LOL They also have a very nice size bar and an outdoor patio which I like. As always the prices at movie theaters are overpriced but I guess that's just to be expected. Popcorn was $11 plus tax and a Coke was a $5:40.

I attended a kid's birthday party. Prior to this, I'd never been inside. I ordinarily don't go to EVO or similar places because it's just not my thing, but I was perfectly comfortable there and service appears excellent.

Attended a special viewing event for Barbarian as Yelp Elite. I agree with some of the prior reviews about the service. Although our order taker was very apologetic and nice, she was the only order taker for the night and passed us twice even though we had our light on way before any others on our row. Ordered beer, popcorn and water. Got the popcorn first albeit the delivery guy was uncertain of the location for the delivery. I could see him walking up the stairs checking the ticket more than a few times before coming up to the top and realizing it was us at the end of the row. Beer came second and was delivered straight to me - a plus. Water finally came during the middle of the movie. Good thing my friend had gone to the bathroom before the movie and stopped at the bar to get her drink and water. I really enjoyed the place when it was Harkins Theatre. The theatre seats were as comfortable as I remember them. The service now does need some work. They need to plan better for events and ensure they have enough staff on hand. There had to have been about 20-30 people who showed up for this event, and to have only 1 order taker. They seemed to have several people available to deliver the food and drinks though. It seems to me they could have pitched in to take orders as well as deliver. We did not visit the games section. Although it does seem like a mini-Main Event as someone else described it. When we first walked in, we were not greeted and there was no one to be found at the customer service desk. The bartenders at the bar did not seem to be well informed of what happens outside their area when asked where to go for the Yelp event or who to ask for assistance. They kind of just shrugged their shoulders and said to wait at the desk until someone comes by.

This place is a one stop shop! Games! Movies! Bowling! Popcorn. Always busy on the weekend.

Three stars only because I got a refund and the seats.are incredibly comfortable. I learned after only one visit we will not return to this theater. Ordered tickets online and assumed that we'd be able.to order at pur seat and get service like we do at movie house and Alamo. I also learned that you do get your initial order delivered, but unless you pay for upgraded 'pods' no service is provided inclsuing no server tending to initally take your order. You have to use an online order and pay. We waited some time, almost 25 min, no popcornor drinks. I then went to the food counter to inquire. The older gentleman wasn't polite, actually very crass and rude. The younger guy, appeared to be in management based on attire, then overheard me and offered a full.refund. I then got all items to fill on my own, three cups and a popcorn bucket. After 5 minutes I finally wrestled it all back to my seat to then see they arrived tondeliver the inital order no one could find. Just a mess and terribly disorganized l. A not great way to run this place. We won't be back....for sure, even if they have heated seats that are awesome!! Tickets were 3ore each and I paid almost $6 for an online fee that other theaters offering full service in theater dining don't charge as high for. Not worth it.

Next best thing to a home theater. High quality picture and sound experience. Very good food selection and quality of food, especially compared to other dine-in theaters. Comfortable recliners, make you feel at home when viewing movies. They even have "private pods" to make movie watching more secluded. Don't forget the bottomless popcorn option too!

Great place for a movie...and more! We went to a movie, next time we will add time to play a few games before it begins!

It was a pretty cool place. I personally felt tik tok over rated it. Only had about 8 or 10 lanes to bowl so we waited 2 hours for a lane. You can get an all day pass for $24 but doesn't cover arcade or shoes for bowling. The food and drinks start at $12 & up. It's a smaller version of main event is the best way to describe it.

Our new favorite place to watch movies! For a few dollars more we sat in the VIP pods! Service was on point. Luxury heated recliners, and very comfortable!

Don't go to this place for the last showing. My family and I showed up and the theater was filthy. The floors were covered with soda, there were popcorn buckets and soda from the previous people on our reserved seats and the lights were on despite the fact that the movie was supposed to be showing at that point. After looking at the reviews it looks like this is a reoccurring problem, avoid this place.

Two stars for the theater, loved the heated seats.0 stars for the food and service. Went to watch a movie today Shazam. Ordered tenders and a burger. Fries were cold. Tenders tasted that of burned oil. Didn't think anyone can mess up a cheeseburger but they did and it was one of the worst cheeseburgers I've ever had. Push the service button and took them about 15 mins for someone to show up, Asked for ketchup and took the server 10 mins to bring that out. There was only like 5 other families so definitely not a busy night. Wont be returning.

I have been to EVO for two movies and one birthday party. I do love that the theatre seating however good service was very slow. The next time we went back I ordered my drink when I bought my tickets hoping I would receive it faster. Big mistake. I didn't get my drink till half way through the movie. When I asked my server about it she told me since I ordered it with my ticket a different staff who's have to bring it to me.... I waited and then finally pushed the seat button again and was brought my drink by the dine in movie staff. I recently had my birthday party in the bowling section of EVO. The food and lanes were great. The service and follow up with my party were lacking. (Not sure if the event coordinator left the business because they told us they were short staffed due to a manager quitting) I had to call to follow up on my booking the day prior as no one from EVO had contacted me. Our party host was helping with normal bowlers so service wasn't great and my guest had to wait long times for shoes, and drinks. ( which this is a timed event) The table with our food was also behind us so we had to keep an eye out on our food so teenagers wouldn't try to grab items off our table. This place could be great, but they need to get staffing under control. I can't recommend this space based on the amount I paid for the service I received.

We went to play here for the first time during vacation time during the holidays. Nice facility, plenty to do, and fun. We bowled that day and lucked out in getting offered some Mavs tickets for the following week as an EVO promotion just before we left. Adam sent us the tickets and we went yesterday 1/9. It was a surprise on where the seats were and had a good view. They didn't win but hey it was still a good time. Thanks to Adam, EVO, and the crew at the Southlake EVO!!

Today I was watching a movie and some punks turned on the emergency lights during the middle of the movie at IMAX. When I confronted management they said we have no security during the week. Terrible customer service!! Bowled and ordered food and took forever! Food came out cold. Asked for ranch and never came. Sucks bc it seems like a cool place. I hope management sees this!
