Great coffee. I've had their cold brew (love all the syrup options) their matcha latte, and cheddar and dill croissant. All delicious. Love the space-- nicely decorated, cozy, artsy. The perfect morning spot to start my day. It's large, with a big work table, sofas, and outlets. Perfect place to get work done too. They also have a 90's gallery full of Seattle period-specific musicians I love. It's just my vibe.

One of the first coffee shops I ever visited in Seattle and one of my favourites. Their avocado toast and turkey pesto sandwiches are amazing! Their lattes are some of the best in the area and they have very aesthetic decor.

Nice place to get some work done on your laptop. The coffee is ok, food is not that great as well. The tables are not that clean and customer are forced to clean them by themselves

Love this wonderful coffee bar in the SLU! Best baristas around! Bakery goods are exceptional and the atmosphere is beyond expectations!

We like trying as many different independent coffee shops as we can so this 1/5 is a special distinction because this truly is the worst coffee we've had in the entire Seattle area. Our barista didn't know how to make a cortado but that aside, the espresso wasn't even pulled correctly. And then it was served in a disposable cup.

This café offers a spacious and comfortable environment, perfect for getting work done. The coffee is excellent, and there's an impressive variety of syrup flavors to choose from. Highly recommended!

This cafe is AMAZING. I got the spicy turkey pesto sandwich and it was incredible. The turkey was abundant and juicy, the flavor was tasty, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I also got a caramel latte and it was SO good. I used to be a barista and it’s hard for me to find good coffee, this place has incredible espresso quality. The owner took our order and she was very friendly and chatty. The flat was very cozy with many comfortable seating options. Couldn’t recommend this cafe more.

The Best!! Atmosphere in a coffee shop in a long time. The building that holds this Grade A coffee shop, is so cool and unique/beautiful that I can’t explain. I will be back soon and often.

I've heard a lot of positive things about Evoke so we decided to try a Friday morning. We went around 10 AM, and the cafe seating and neighboring office atrium seating was quite full, and it all seemed quite cozy, a great place to chill and relax and consume some coffee and food. The line wasn't too long, and I quickly was able to order a matcha latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The matcha seems to come unsweetened by default, and I was asked if I wanted it sweetened which initially confused me, but you sweeten it with one of the many flavored syrups they have. I opted for lavender. This system is nice for flavor, but it does make the drink more expensive than other places nearby. Warming of my color was also offered, which I excitedly agreed to. Everything was delicious! I loved the warmed of the cookie, melting the chips, and the lavender matcha was good! It's also a really comfortable place to sit and eat for longer times. Will be back!

We stayed in the neighborhood for a few nights recently and found Evoke to be a great way to begin our days. This spot is massive and includes plenty of comfortable and spacious seating areas for work, meetings or catch-ups. There even appeared to be multiple floors, though we did not venture upstairs. The breakfast sandwich (fried egg, smoked ham, cheddar, garlic aioli on an English muffin) was also super flavorful, savory, and salty. The yolk was fully cooked which is not my personal preference, so runny yolk lovers take note. :-) My iced rose latte was absolutely delicious: quality coffee and just enough rose syrup added to bring some floral sweetness. There were many house-made syrup options to choose from. On another day, we tried the cold brew (bold and decadent) and the golden milk latte, which includes turmeric and other spices. I'd never had the latter and while I don't know if it'll become my go-to coffee order, I can say that it was definitely well-made. The staff were super nice and I love that it's a woman-owned shop!

Lots of chain coffee shops in Seattle, but Evoke definitely stood out to me as well as their cozy space to work with art displayed on their walls. I like how the cafe is also spacious. It is minimal and trendy.

One of our favorite study spots in the city. Perfect for days when you need a quick coffee stop or dozens of emails to respond to. The openness of the space is stunning and the staff are incredibly down to earth. We love their wide variety of flavors but the mocha and chai latte are top tier.

Located at the 9th and Thomas building, aka "The Living Room of SLU," this is just the cozy workspace that I've been looking for! The building is full of art, comfy couches and chairs, and plenty of outlets. The music is played at a reasonable volume for getting work done or having a meeting. People are super friendly and the coffee was great!

Avocado toast tastes good! Breakfast sandwich is amazing! But latte is average and there is no latte art on it, which I'm disappointed about. The environment is good and it seems a great place to work from.

I had to work outside of my home one day, and I came across Evoke Cafe and was so glad I worked here! The space is huge, and there's so many different spots to work at - regular tables, a communal long table with a ton of outlets, couches, etc. It was perfect for me to hunker down and get some work done. Because it's in the bottom of an Amazon building, I also didn't feel as bad posting up in the cafe since it honestly felt more like you were working in a hotel lobby vibe than a coffee shop vibe. Of course, I still ordered coffee and tipped a bunch to make up for taking up space for a while. Coffee was good and the service was super nice! They also have sandwiches and pastries for those who need some snacks as well.

*Pick up Order* It seems like a pleasant place to work from a cafe with good amount of seating Has a vibe that might boost your productivity. But for $6 later, the coffee was just meh

Don't come here if you're not an Amazonian. The coffee and pasteries here are great, and the staff are really nice. This is quite a workspace unlike any other, almost feels like a little cafe in a library, and there's plenty of seating. I would come back more frequently if there weren't as many judgmental stares and passive harassment by the patrons here who act like they reserved the seats and tables and try to nudge you out. Let's call it as it is; it's a place for Amazonians and outsiders aren't welcomed.

When we woke up this was a couple blocks from where we were staying. All i got was drip coffee and damn was it strong but was much needed to wake up. Was a nice clean area and the lady who made the coffee was super friendly. We would go back again if we're ever in the lake union area.

I came here on Wednesday during international women's day, and drinks were free! The barista was so incredibly friendly, and she suggested I try the chai. I got mine with oat milk, and it was absolutely delicious, with a great amount of spice. The atmosphere in this coffee shop is great for working or chatting with a friend. It's calm and cozy, with lots of plants and ample seating, both in the shop's designated area and in the lobby of the building to which it connects. I'll definitely be back now that I've become acquainted with this little gem of a coffee shop - bonus points for it being women-owned!

For those visiting Seattle or just passing through, drop the Starbucks and take yourself to this lovely shop! The staff is outstanding and truly make sure you are taken care of. My first time visiting I had the intention of only trying the coffee, but then I spotted the food and my mouth instantly began watering. I HIGHLY recommend the Cheddar & Dill Scone; it's become a part of my routine each morning while I'm in town! The atmosphere of the shop is so relaxing, too. If you're staying at the CitizenM South Lake Union hotel, this shop is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel!

Food - AMAZING dill scone and a really nice chai latte. Lots of milk options (including nondairy). I always love when they have sweet and spicy chair options and then I combine them. Service - Wonderful, polite, and helpful barista! She made some recommendations and did a great job preparing everything. She also warmed my scone even though it was to go because she asked if I was eating it right away and I said yes. Ambiance - if you like natural light, modern decor, and plants, this is your vibe. It's a cool place to hang out and work and is pretty quiet overall, but you could still come chat with a friend. The acoustics allow for both without disruptions to your neighbors. Lots of seating options too - bar stool by window, comfy chairs, tables to work at, etc. My new favorite neighborhood coffee spot!

I had a great experience at this place! The cool ambiance and free WiFi make it an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee while working. The scone, chocolate croissant, and latte were delicious, although the hot chocolate wasn't my favorite. Plus, the free WiFi is a definite bonus. Don't miss out on their fantastic spicy breakfast sandwich - it's a winner!

it would seems they have moved locations just down the street... I was looking into my favorite coffee shop for my last visit. I just realized that I did not leave the review. Out of the four or five coffee shops we have in Seattle. This is by far the best one, and we are excited to go back and grab another cup, nice atmosphere small place but well lit and great location. Staff is very friendly specially, for Seattle baristas and I will send this place is worth the drive if you're near any of the others... the place smelt so good I had to just go in and grab a black hot coffee with the cold weather. It was amazing and on the way out even added a bit of cream and the flavor popped just as well... My other half got an milk alt latte, the milk wasn't over done and was a perfect temp and presentation. Excited to be back in the area tomorrow to grab another cup!!

The coffee here is yummy! It doesn't have a burnt taste like a lot of places and it's not too acidic either. It's very smooth and taste best black. Well, that's just my opinion. The cinnamon bun is the best pastry to get. There's a large dollop a of sweet cream cheese topping on it as well. The cafe is at the bottom of what looks like an office building. But it's nestled in the corner of the lobby and feels separate from everything else. There's a big window to sit and people watch. It's also on a quiet street with trees so it feels a little distant from the main roads. Oh, and it's just a couple blocks away from the space needle and that whole park area! I would definitely frequent this place if I lived in Seattle and will be coming back here on my next trip!

Evoke is my favorite cafe in the slu neighborhood for many reasons. Their location, ambiance, drinks and service are superb. Its also a very consistent cafe, meaning the drinks always taste the same!!! I dont know how they do it but i find myself coming back often regularly.

Went to go get some work done on a Wednesday at around 10am and there was plenty of seating. The place itself is spacious and nice plus they had Wi-Fi. I got a small coffee and chocolate croissant. The chocolate croissant was really delicious and the coffee was okay. The croissant was more expensive then the coffee which surprised me. Overall good vibe

The cafe has really nice ambience and huge space to work. The barista is friendly too. She was too kind to refill my hot water cup again and again. There is lots of charging spots and since the cafe is pretty open, feels fresh. The place is little loud though, I had to use my noise cancellation earbuds. I got a hot macha latte and orange hazelnut pinwheel. In all fairness, I could not resist the pinwheel and finished it off without taking a picture. The macha latte was good too but the warmed pinwheel was AMAZING! This is now my to go cafe in seattle for the comfortable work settings. Must try: orange hazelnut pinwheel

This is a really beautiful space, and looks inviting especially if you want to cozy up alone with a drink and a book. There aren't a lot of spots for groups to sit together. Stick with coffee - my visit felt like a day for hot cocoa and it was disappointing - maybe made with low-fat milk and a too-small amount of chocolate syrup?

Service was extremely slow. It took 50 mins before dishes are ready despite being told it only takes 15 mins. Please plan ample time here if you plan on dining here.We will not be coming back.

Excellent coffee in the heart of SLU. It's in the lobby of a building that has a bunch of art, super chill place to work and study. Most importantly a surprising amount of space to just sit and relax.

Been here a few times to get some work done. I love the atmosphere! The owner (I assume) is super kind and provides great service. Every drink I've gotten here, whether it's drip or a matcha latte, has been great. How many times can I say "great" in a review? Wifi is close to excellent. There's LOTS of seating options. The space itself seems to be shared by multiple businesses based on what I've observed. Overall, I've enjoyed my time and drinks whenever I've been to Evoke. I have seen some pups inside before -- what a great bonus.

Pretty empty place, part of a larger building and restrooms were hard to find. I got the latte and the espresso had strong dark chocolate, cocoa notes to it. I would say around 85% dark, if you're into that. Great place to study.

Great spot in a great location! Met a friend here for an afternoon coffee on a Saturday. A little busy, but tons of seating so it wasn't a problem. Super cute with the green wall and a mix of regular chairs and sofas. I had a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was one of my favorite lattes in Seattle! Will definitely come back!

This is a great working coffee shop. I've stopped by here for the last few days and they have comfy seating, outlets, and free WiFi. It's in the lobby of an Amazon building and is female-owned. The baristas are very friendly and make a great chai latte. There's also food available in case you get hungry. Dog-friendly too!

Love this place! Had a 5 star review and we had to go! Brian was amazingly friendly and attentive! The fresh pastries were Nom Nom Nom! Awesome pics in the walls, great place to hang out! A must see!

Probably the best coffee in Seattle! Avocado toast is also the best in Seattle portions are huge! The owner and barista, friendly and beautiful make a great latte. Makes me feel like an old friend making me a good cup of coffee. The old location was beautiful and had a great layout plenty of space, new location looks beautiful!

Yummy coffee very good cinnamon roll! The cinnamon roll is best when eaten warm and it's like a cross between a croissant and cinnamon roll. Also for the sandwiches which were sooooo good. Best eaten there as well. The sandwiches took sometime to make so make sure you aren't in a rush when ordering hot meals here. So good and such a cozy cafe place. The barista is the sweetest.

I went here this last Thursday around 11:30 to get a drink while I was waiting to get photos done of my puppy for the Halloween photo shoot. I went up to the counter and after I finished ordering one of the ladies who had short brown hair said she liked my outfit, which I appreciated. But then she asked if I had ever seen the TikTok trend "is it a fit or is she just skinny?" She said "this is definitely a fit." Then she went on to talk about how she "loves seeing plus size folks wearing 'brave' outfits." I have severe body issues and this really affected me. I did not call myself plus sized beforehand. This was all brought up by her. I felt really offended and it honestly ruined my day. I don't come to Evoke to get told I am "plus sized" or be told about my body. I just wanted my matcha latte so I could go wait in line to get pictures of my puppy. Oh, and for the record, everything I had on that day was straight-sized clothing, not plus size. I feel uncomfortable coming back.

The BEST coffee !! Husband ordered a honey rose latte, and I ordered a honey lavender. It was THE most delicious coffee we've ever had. Can't wait to visit again
