Came here for dinner twice and have been impressed both times. They're known for their gourmet pizzas, but I was not blown away considering this is what they are known for. We ordered the pizza with aged proscuitto and if it wasn’t advertised as "pizza", I'd probably be less critical. It was tasty and the foccaccia was fantastic, but in my eyes, not a pizza. To me, it's simply focaccia with toppings, as there is no sauce or cheese on it. That being said, this the only con I can think of… and really, it's semantics!
The service here is fantastic. The first time we were here, they gave us an entire complimentary focaccia pie which was SO fresh/ hot out of the oven. Our server was also kind enough to make me a dessert duo of a flourless chocolate cake and some sort of fruity-esque mousse cake.
I've also tried their:
- Mazara red shrimp tartare and tuna tartare: super fresh and tasty
-Grilled tuna with spinach - there was a mustard sauce with it that paired very nicely with the tuna
- grilled vegetables - eggplant/zucchini
- beef with arugula and parmesan
- zuppa inglese (italian trifle cake)- absolutely delicious!
Their wine list is extremely extensive as well. Beautiful décor. Perfect for business meals or a fancy night out.
