Exedra Hotel Cappadocia

A very disappointing stay, we had such high expectations but sadly reality was far different. Check in was fine, staff are ok, we had to ask them to show us around and they seemed annoyed to do so! We were in three rooms, 603,604,605! The mould and slime on the wall in 604 was horrendous and we had to ask to move. They were not happy but it is unsafe to be in this room! There is black mould in the bathroom and a huge smell. Breakfast is awful! See other comments! The staff do not greet you, they serve Brussels sprouts, onion rings, french fries and other random rubbish! We ended up having to eat out for breakfast every day we stayed. There is fortunately an espresso shop next door to get decent coffee. Room service and turn down is abysmal! They cleaned our room and took our towels. When we asked for them to replaced we were told they had run out! We had wine and some yoghurt one day, three days later the empty and dirty bowls and glasses still remained in place. The spa was nice but we got massages from two ladies who clearly were sick! They sniffed, coughed and spluttered throughout! Went to use the gym and the staff were smoking cigarettes inside! Promptly left. This is bordering a 2 star, it is no way a 4! We took it in our stride but it did dampen our trip considering how much we paid for this!!

Sorry to say but I was disappointed and get hurt indeed as there's a lot of discrimination in this hotel, we pay good, giving tips for all, in short we can pay for any cost but the staff are discriminating us maybe because of our looks, we are Asians, Filipino and Indian family w, they refused us many times as we requested twice to put a fire place and each time different different reason they said, room is little, weather is bad, well unfortunately it is already inside all they need to do is to put the fire and other things we notice. Please do not discriminate anyone , black white or brown we have enough money to stay. Just broken heart when leaving from there.

Really nice hotel, happy with almost everything. Only problem was that I booked double rooms for only one person each by mistake, while actually two of us were staying in each. Although while checking in they said it would be fine, they later messaged me asking for 250 euros extra for two extra people for three nights. When I asked them how they calculated this, they couldn’t tell me. When I checked their website, it was only an extra 12 euros per person, per night. When I asked them about this, they immediately dropped the price to what I had found. I felt a bit like they had tried to scam me. That ruined my impression of the hotel a bit to be honest.

Very good restaurant and hotel. Muzaffer,Cansu, Musaand, and thé boss are kind and professionnel. Thé area, services and thé concert on saturday are great. Good place to be.

We stayed at Exedra Hotel for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel’s layout felt like a maze—in the best way possible! We really enjoyed wandering through the charming corridors and stairways, and were genuinely impressed by the unique and stunning architecture. Our room was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and perfectly maintained. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. If we ever visit Cappadocia again, we’ll definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!

The room is clean, the atmosphere and the hotel is amazing. It has really nice view.The breakfast has a lot of choices.But the location is a little bit unconvenient.

Exceptionally rude staff. Bellboy was outright saying things like 'Don't bother me. Don't ask me' when we asked for basic assistance. Jacuzzi and Sauna wasn't working during the entirety of our stay. Housekeeping was an absolute joke. Only replaced the towels, readjusted the bedsheets and left. No sweeping or mopping, no taking out the trash. The structure of the cave itself was also cracking and left crumbs on the floor. We called the reception to send someone to take care of it, but were just left waiting. If you are only looking for a pretty spot for your instagram pictures, you got it. But if you actually look forward to the services and hospitality provided, you will be left utterly disappointed. We also bought tour packages from them after carefully looking at their itinerary and confirming that they were places we hadn't visited on our own. (Didn't want to repeat the same locations). On the day of the tour, we were taken to completely different locations from what was advertised to us (places we had already been on our own and were purposely avoiding repeats). Wasted an entire day of our trip and left us feeling absolutely helpless with no compensation offered.

Beside the fact that the hotel have a great view and rooms nice. The service is really bad for the kind of appearance the hotel have. The breakfast is really poor, no sliced fresh fruits , no scrambled eggs (only at 9:30 onwards) but the main issue is the no one speaks English and therefore the communication is really difficult . A lot of potencial without service.
