"When the pandemic began, restaurants across the country had to get creative with how they structured their outdoor seating and indoor setup. However, Exit Zero Filling Station didn’t need any help in the imagination department—it’s literally a converted gas station that’s been transformed into one of the most frequented places in Cape May. Open daily, you can get everything here from loaded waffle fries to a wide selection of curries and their sweet-and-spicy pad thai. And just like a trip to your local Sunoco, it’s full service at the pump here, too— just with way better food." - regan stephens, candis mclean, sydney mcelwee, tonya russell

We came to eat here at the end of August. The atmosphere was very nice. It had outdoor seating with charming decor. We came at opening time on a Monday, and live music was being setup. Our selection was Indian Disco Fries, Brussels Sprouts, and Bang Bang Chicken & Shrimp. The fries were pretty good. I liked the mild curry flavor paired with the creamy goat cheese on top of crispy waffle fries. The Brussel Sprouts were great! They were crispy and a bit sweet. We weren't big fans of the curry. It was okay, but perhaps a bit too mild and toned down for our taste. The chicken and shrimp were also a bit overcooked. Overall, it was a pleasure eating here, and I'd come back again.

My wife and I visited this past Wednesday night, and we both loved our meals. I had the Christmas Curry and she had the Bang Bang Shrimp and Chicken curry. Both dishes were amazing and delicious! A lot of thought went into the menu and decor, and our server was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. This was all a wonderful dining experience. Very special.

Google
Speaking as someone who has seen many kitchens in and out of the greater Cape May area, I can say the staff and management of this establishment take cleanliness seriously, from the nightly breakdown to the daily set-up for service all ServSafe procedures are followed, and exceeded.

Google
Very cool place to grab a bite to eat outside on a nice summer day. Lots of very interesting American/Indian fusion appetizers to choose and the straight curry dishes are very tasty.

Google
Been a while since we stopped here but I never wrote the review. Very interesting concept that works for nice summer days. The food was amazing! The lobster Mac and cheese had more lobster than noodles and was delicious. My wife got the butter chicken that I thought I wouldn't like but the flavors were so complimentary to each other and it ended up being my favorite dish. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the burger I got was barely average and tasted rather boring. But will stop again if we are riding down this way.

Google
Awesome place to hit after the lighthouse, great outdoor seating, dog friendly, great veg options - they have Indian curries which was unusual but tasted fantastic! Service was excellent (Highly recommend the Curry Impossiballs with a naan - the curry was so good that we dipped our fries in it and added it on top of the Mac)

Google
Exit Zero Filling Station in Cape May, NJ, perfectly combines retro charm with delicious food. The vintage gas station décor, neon lights, and Americana accents set the tone. Their standard burger is a standout—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with classic fixings. Pair it with a creative cocktail, and you’ve got a great meal. With outdoor seating and a fun atmosphere, it’s a must-visit for a laid-back dining experience!

🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶 Alert! Perfect blend of heat and spicy! I tried the Kraken Curry. It was absolutely delicious and super tasty. I am a person who enjoys hot 🔥 food, so I ordered my curry to be spicy (3 🌶 ). It blew my mind! Definitely, not for everyone, but if you're like me, these guys really know how to make spicy, tasty food.

Yelp
I feel like so many restaurants and establishments want five star reviews but don't give five star service. However, this place does! We were so impressed with their serving team, their offerings, and just the restaurant as a whole. The food was amazing! They had a lot of gluten free options. The most I've seen on one menu in a while. One of the best burgers I've ever had, GF bun included. My husband was really impressed with his whole meal as well. I think some places could really learn a thing or two from Exit Zero. This place is just super cool even if you just want to take home some goods from their store. We ordered to go because we had to catch the ferry but we did eat outside as it was such a nice day. They have these super cool trucks and vans that you can reserve online to eat in as well.

Yelp
This place has taken a step back from prior years. Service was prompt but server was cold and unfriendly. Food was well prepared but we felt rushed in and out. Would love to see Lobster back on the menu as an option to some of the chicken dishes. Overall a good restaurant that should not rest on its past reputation.

Yelp
Food: food was great. We started with the Indian disco fries. They were very good. For our mains we had butter chicken, the Christmas curry and the Bollywood burger. Portions were large and we were all stuffed. We got the naan too but didn't really need it. We didn't know it was an extra $4 each. Thought that was a bit steep for a piece of naan. Service: service was pretty good. It took a while for our server to get to us initially but I think he had a lot of tables. Other: seating is outside. If you go at night, make sure to bring bug spray. Also we were sitting at the edge of the dining area near a planter. Whenever staff went by with a cup with ice/liquid they dumped it in the planter. It got to be annoying as it was noisy and right next to us.

Donna P.

Yelp
Still a Cape May favorite. Waiting for a table the bar has dangerously fabulous drinks. The bartenders are great. Food is still delicious.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Sunday in October. I was surprised that I'd never been here before. The eagles game was on so there were food specials for the game which as nice. My friend and I split a burger and Brussels sprouts because we knew we'd be getting dinner later. Everything was very good and our server Katie was awesome!!

Lorena C.

Yelp
Let's start with the cuteness of this place and how the outside private dining areas are a wonderful place to have a fun meal with friends. The service was top notch because our server was sweet, polite and attentive. I was cold so he put me by the fireplace which I call "service with love"!!! Now let's talk food WOW...fresh, full of flavor, & delicious. The menu is as creative as the restaurant with witty names for the items served. We will definitely visit AGAIN :)

Yelp
This is based off our Restaurant Week experience. They seem to have stepped up their game a little. For my Prix Fixe meal, I chose the Curried Impossiballs, The Hot Chick, and the Salted Caramel Boozie Shake. I loved the Impossiballs, whatever they used for the vegan meatballs is a dead ringer for real meat. I could've used a few more meatballs though. The Hot Chick with fried chicken was delicious. It was a pasta dish with cheese, hot sauce, and fried chicken which all work well together. My friend ordered the Thai Shrimp Coconut soup which was very authentic and good. One note about the butter chicken dish. They seem to have taken the feedback about the amount of rice since the last time I've visited. Last time I complained about not enough rice and now it seems to have doubled to a perfect amount (compare the pictures!). So kudos for that. I liked the Salted Caramel shake but I felt the vodka was just a tad overpowering. I would've preferred if it was toned down a little. For our desserts, apparently only the milkshake which was one of three choices was available. We didn't get to try the beignets or the Peanut Bitter Cookie. We were offered one of their normal desserts to fill in the remainder of the prix fixe dinner. We chose Key Lime Pie. It wasn't bad but I think we would've preferred a more traditional Key Lime Pie. One more thing to note is that for some reason there was no inside seating available at all. The outdoor seating was adequate with the weather. But we unfortunately got eaten alive by mosquitos which I know the restaurant can't really do much about. So they might want to have the indoor seating available at all times. So things seem to have improved with the food since my last visit. Service was great, everything came out quickly, and our server Hope did a great job.

Alyse J.

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed in Exit Zero. I thought the food was VERY average and none of the food came out very hot. The service was a bit slow and a few of the items were incorrect as well. I LOVE French fries but the regular fries here were not it... but the waffle fries were good! It's a nice vibe outside but overall I stand firm on "average" food and "average" experience.

Yelp
Cool conception and execution. Not a huge menu but definitely enough to choose from & all dishes we ordered were really good. On a Mon night in Aug at prime dinner time we waited for about a 1/2 hour but it seemed so much less than that - we got parking in their lot and were front row for the live music as we waited. Speaking of, the music was fantastic - Camille Peruto is a talented musician. She made it easy to request songs & dedicated an anniversary song to my wife & I. Our server was attentive and very helpful. Food & drinks came out quickly even though it was a full house. They could use a few more bathrooms bc the line got long, but no other complaints. Didn't get a chance to shop but all of the merch in the shop looked really nice & the inside bar was really cool.

Yelp
So sorry to post this. Thursday $5. Burger day was not up to last years fare. The server was very nice . Ordered a certain beer so did my friend , they didn't have them . Two major brands . We both ordered medium rare all pink in middle. Burgers were well done black crust around the edges , my bun had dried cheese on the bottom . Were they stacked on the grill and reheated? Looked that way. Nope can't recommend Burger Thursday anymore.

Yelp
Great service.. Food isn't good during the off season. Bombed out on selective choices only two sandwiches one fried and one fish not great. So we had burgers and felt sick in her stomach while all the rest of the day. Probably should offer better choices of not fried food added with the wonderful grilled vegetables that you like brussels sprouts. Also, they put her down their alcohol. I had two drinks doubles and was bummed out because I could tell. I used to be a bartender. Ugh sucks. I got ripped off $73 from that place today expecting having great food and cocktails with my mom.. for sure probably won't be back there and I have gone there many time's.

Bri M.

Yelp
Service was fast and efficient, menu was fairly straightforward, Quirky, and shellfish heavy so limited me to something burgerish. Spouse went for pad Thai, I went for the burger bowl. The burger needed salt but the salad was pretty extensive and plenty of it. Iced tea for me and a Chardonnay for spouse. The place is set up in a former service station with campers and out side seating available. $60.00 some dollars is on the high side even for a tourist area. Worth going but won't go back at those prices.

Fran H.

Yelp
Wasn't our favorite spot. The looks was cool Taking an old gas stop and converting it to an eatery. Comfortable tables and a few kitschy options for kids include dining in a train car etc. The menu has some unique not traditional aspects including burger to Indian cuisine. Not what you expect from the ambiance. We ordered one Indian dish , one chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good appeared freshly made and hot. The Indian dish was not seasoned as well as it could have been and was very soupy not thicker as expected. The dishes came out looking appetizing but we weren't too enamored. The service was good. I was expecting east pub style food judging by the look but the menu wasn't a match.

Yelp
I have been here before and was looking forward to an end-of-vacation feast but the hostess was so mean, so spoiling for a fight, that I finally just gave up and left. I never raised my voice or used improper language, but she was screaming as I went out the door.

Monya V.

Yelp
I don't think it is possible to love this place more. Where do I begin? First, the vibe, the energy, the spirit.... everyone is happy. From the staff to the clients, everyone is smiling, laughing, living their best lives. Everyone is talking to everyone else - whether they came with those people or just made a friend at the bar while waiting for a table, such a happy place to be. The drinks? Top-notch craft cocktails. The difficult question will be what do I order first? The food -is equally amazing. My gentleman friend and I are vegan and there are plenty of options here to keep everyone happy. The service was fast and as I said, friendly. Maybe it is because everyone is on vacation, perhaps it is the fresh salty air that lulled everyone into a good mood; but whatever it was I want more of it.

William C.

Yelp
A MUST when visiting Cape May. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced, the portions matched the price (don't see that often these days), the menu options are vegan friendly, and the service is great even when busy (we visited the weekend after Memorial Day weekend). We got our food within 15-20 minutes of ordering. You can see my order but my wife got the Impossible Burger and fries. She loved it and said it was prepared just right. My order was SO GOOD I forced myself to save some for work the next day. My drink was on point! Lastly the ambiance was perfect summer time almost old time shake shack. This will be a definite stop for us every time we visit going forward and I suggest you all do the same!

Melanie M.

Yelp
Cute establishment, but not likely to recommend for service or cost. We had to ask for silverware after our food was delivered, got a dirty side plate and never got a refill on our water. $80 for two meals and one beer is flat out tourist tax. They need to cut their portions and prices by half. Having an $18 kid's menu item is laughable. Lobster curry at $35 should have a whole lobster served in it - not just a claw. Both curry dishes (butter chicken and lobster) were more of a soupy broth than a curry consistency. Naan tasted store bought. If you're visiting from out of town, I'd suggest trying somewhere else. Mad Batter and The Eat Well were both better.

Renee D.

Yelp
AMAZING experience for dinner here this past week! If I could go here everyday to eat I probably would. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive...great vibe sitting outdoors with awesome live music...food and drinks were awesome!! This is a MUST GO if you are in Cape May!!

Rebecca G.

Yelp
I came because of the airstream out front. I'll definitely be back. Great bartender working his tail off a-line on a Sunday night. He had drink and food recommendations and all were great. Charming delicious place. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town.

Judith N.

Yelp
The food in this place has deteriorated markedly. Both the burger and the waffle fries were tasteless and the naan was not hot enough, was tough and also not tasty. It's a shame really because the location is good and the outside space is nice.

Mark G.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich I've had in years. Great vibe indoors and out All I can really say is- Get here!

Elena Y.

Yelp
It's nicely decorated inside and outside. However the wait was a bit long (which isn't that big of a deal) but it wasn't that busy inside either. We also waited over 30 min for food that came cold. The only decent things were the hot chick and the chicken pekora. The chicken is well fried and has a good flavor. The bang bang chicken and shrimp curry came watery and unseasoned. Out waitress was nice enough to get that changed out for us to the butter chicken but it wasn't that much better. The lobster curry was a bit better, but it is very heavy and sweet and there was barely any lobster in it. The cauliflower bites were also overly fried.

Abby S.

Yelp
This idea and vibe of the Exit Zero Filling Station is super cool and refreshing. I think the idea of reusing a place like this is so unique and creative. The day we went was even more unique since there was a girl performing live music by the center station. Unfortunately, I wasn't as crazy about the food here. We tried one of the burgers, which retrospectively was probably the wrong thing to order here. The menu had more creative options that I regret not trying, but I had come here craving a burger which I would not recommend again. We also tried the hot chick sandwich, which had a nice crunch and a special salad with watermelon and feta. The salad was probably my favorite thing we tried besides the fries with the above sandwiches. Service here was friendly. I think I'd be interested in returning here soon, but next time I'm definitely trying the more interesting menu options.

Carla W.

Yelp
I can't believe this place has good reviews. It was awful. The waffle fries looked amazing but came out cold & stale. The wedge salad was completely inedible. There was a mountain of dressing soaking it unlike anything I've ever seen & I always order wedge salad. The cauliflower bites tasted as stale as the fries. The Brussels sprouts were edible & the chopper salad was fine, but overall it was a disappointing experience.

Brian P.

Yelp
This place is a hoot and fusion is the correct term for the food choices. I highly recommend the burger salad for a massive food experience without the guilt. You can get your gas after you leave if you eat too much but you'll want too LOL. I'm going back in the morning to get my stuff for tomorrow and we can talk about that tomorrow and see what you guys decide about the weekend!

Farkle F.

Yelp
3 stars for the food 5 stars for the pet pampering Exit Zero Filling Station food is just okay. We ordered a burger (on the dry side), chicken wings (pricey for the amount you are given) and butter chicken (or attempt at butter chicken). Nothing to write home about. We were, however, very impressed with the canine cuisine. We ordered a beef patty and would have ordered a dog ice cream if it hadn't been sold out. Our pup was given fresh water refills multiple times along with some lovein' from our server. We will probably go back just based on how much our pup loved the experience.

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Amazing variety of menu options that worked well for the carnivores, vegan, vegetarian in our large family. The service was attentive and fast, the bartender nailed the drinks and the food was fantastic. Outdoor covered seating options and games helped pass the time for the kids during the very short wait for a table. Beyond that, I forgot my sunglasses on the table, left town the next day, and they shipped them to my home without hesitation. This is our new go-to dinner spot during the annual cape may family vacation. Could not ask for a better overall experience.

Julia A.

Yelp
Food was excellent! We had the Buffalo Chicken Mac, burgers and Butter Chicken, fantastic!! Service was perfect and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! Came with my husband and sister the first time and can surely say we will be back again especially when our friends come into town.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Pakora Chicken served with a mint crema sauce and a sticky thai sauce, a very nice appetizer. Good crunch to it, and the dipping sauces were nice. Crispy Wings with an ink black curry sauce (advertised as "devilishly spicy" but I don't think it was spicy and can be eaten by anyone that can handle black pepper). Food was good, ambiance and theme were better. Drinks are tasty as well.

Carrie S.

Yelp
We were driving by and noticed the cool campers and the crowd. So we circled the block and pulled in. No clue it was a restaurant. It was busy for a Thursday at 4 but was able to get a table outside. The campers require reservations. It's a unique place in an old gas station. Although the service was friendly, the whole experience seemed rushed. The food came out ridiculously quick. She took the order and in 5-10 minutes the food was out. We decided to order a few appetizers to share instead of entrees. We asked for them not to come out at the same time but they brought it all at once. BBQ wings, Thai wings, mega tots, and the chili cheese naan. By far, the wings were the best I've had in awhile. Juicy and flavorful sauces. Big pieces of chicken. I would definitely go back for the wings. The tots were cold. We asked for well done. These were ok but not even warm. I'm not sure if the egg was supposed to be runny to get on the tots. It wasn't. Probably would be a little better if it was. My confusion is that they came out super quick so I'm thinking they weren't ours. Or they pre make them and put the toppings on. I don't know....I was underwhelmed. The naan was hard. nope!!! The cheese wasn't even melted. It isn't made fresh to order. We didn't get a curry dish to dip it in so maybe that's our fault. If you're used to freshly made naan at other restaurants then skip this one. They do have a lot of stuff to keep kids busy. Corn hole, jumbo connect four, putting green. They also allow dogs at the outside seating!!!!!

Cat M.

Yelp
Enjoyed crispy General TSO wings & a fantastic tequila drink. The menu is a little strange - mostly Indian & some Thai which I did not expect at all. Be sure to look at the menu before going to ensure there is something you like on the menu. We sat indoors as there was no room outside. We would have sat outside if we could. Not much parking available.

Amy S.

Yelp
Coming from centeral jersey one loves a little seasoning type of meal instead of bland. Menu and ambiance attracted me. Service was great, I asked for soda and it literally tasted like Diet Coke with extra ice. Appetizers was great : Brussel sprout and sunflower something. Dinner I wanted pad Thai with chicken not shrimp instead I got curry chicken in pad Thai. I understand there is a dish on menu That is curry chicken but that can't be dumped in pad Thai .... Not a good combo plus main course cost $30 for not having chicken that enhances the pad Thai gravy. Customers did mention the ambiance, drinks and apps are good. I wouldn't take chance on main course. Please reserve ahead of visit for their cute transportation setting ambiance experience!

Joe S.

Yelp
The service was good, but the food was clearly some kind of price gouging tourist trap. I ordered a curry bowl with naan, and the vegeatables were still wet from probably being reheated frozen. Barely any flavor. Just ingredients thrown together. The rice was undercooked and clumpy. The pieces of chicken were still dry and flavorless on the inside, so none of this dish was cooked together for more than a few minutes. And the "naan" was just store brand frozen pita bread with last minute char marks burned onto it. The server was quick to refund the price of the naan, and didn't seem phased that I thought it was bad. I could get a comparable meal from a microwave TV dinner, and pay way less for the disappointment. I get the business model here - it's fast food for three times the price - but at least I go back to fast food sometimes. This place caught me once, and that's one time too many.

Melanie R.

Yelp
HANDS DOWN a place to check out!! The vibes are cool and the food is is even better! I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. A few parking spots right in the front, you'll see what looks like an actual gas station! There are tents and little themed trailers that give you some outdoor/indoor dining. While I didn't get to experience eating in one these trailers, it's good for a small group of 2-4 to enjoy. Just make reservations in order to ensure you can grab a spot. They even have games such a corn hole outside to enjoy and our server told us they even have dancing and different events out there during the summer time. So the food options were a fusion of cultures... Scotland and Asian flavors. Lots of curry type dishes which I learned is actually a Scotland thing! Here is a glimpse of what we tried: FOOD: Disco Fries - I just want the curry cheese to go please! The flavors were so good Wings - with sticky Thai sauce. Super crispy and flavorful Holy Guacamole Burger - spicy guacamole, pepper hack cheese, jalapeño mayo. Lacked a little bit of spice and flavor but at least it was juicy! Just needs a bit more kick in my opinion. Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp - Curry rice dish. Had a spicy level of 2 .... which was enough for my husband. He really enjoyed it and flavors were on point. Definitely the portions can feed you for at least 2 meals, so definitely shareable with the table. Service was good. This place can get packed so definitely look into reserving a spot. We will definitely be back because everything on the menu looked so good!

Megan S.

Yelp
The food here is amazing and the vibe was great. Local musicians play here often. I really wish the portions were smaller though and the prices were a little less. I'd gladly take a half portion of the curry for $20 instead of the insanely large portion for $30. We had leftovers of all dishes. The Buffalo cauliflower was so tasty with the homemade bleu cheese. The Thai Lobster curry was so unique and delicious. Pad Thai was my least favorite (pretty salty and not memorable, tasted similar to our local take out spot).

Dennis K.

Yelp
Service good, 6 chicken wing app, 3 cheeseburgers, 3 drinks =$100.00+ tip. Not bad for what was an old gas station service area. Still remnants of the gas pump islands.

Elspeth K.

Yelp
We were so looking forward to dining here. Such a great idea. The restaurant was quiet @ 4 pm. We kept being passed from one member of staff to another before we were eventually seated. Cute setting and a lovely warm fire to greet us. Dippy waiter took our order and just didn't listen. We both had overcooked burgers. The meat was poor and dry. Like it had been frozen and defrosted in the microwave. I ordered the Bollywood burger. Couldn't find the bharji. Loads of onions that appeared to be drowned in curry powder mayo. Will not be back. Exit zero conjured up such fun and hope. No one was playing tonight. Just slamming plates of food down on the table. Shame. Plenty of establishments to spend my $$ in elsewhere.

Renee H.

Yelp
Decor, service, thai food, popcorn cauliflower-delicious. Went off season on a very rainy Wednesday night and they clearly have a year round standard of service. Check it out. Really cool place.

Jay R.

Yelp
Good spot for curry. The chicken curry was good but had an interesting taste that was almost like mayonnaise mixed with ketchup, not my favorite. It was tomato based and not like anything I've ever had. Big chunks of chicken and lots of rice. The star of the show was the loaded curry fries, pickled toppings with the goat cheese, curry sauce, and crispy waffle fries was out of this world. Unique flavor and amazing. Good service and nice setting.

Madalina P.

Yelp
This place it's really nice and really different. It's a restaurant that looks like a gas station. Me and my friend had great cocktails, delicious soup and pretty good entree. We tried the thai shrimp and coconut soup, naan bread and the bang bang chicken and shrimp. The only thing that I didn' like was that rice was really undercooked. Other then that food was tasty, good service and lovely place! The weather outside was great and the terrace it's just perfect.

John B.

Yelp
What a great surprise for Cape May. Stumbled across this place on the way to Sunset breach. I though it would be just another regular burger place but was way wrong. Some in my group ordered the burger and fried chicken sandwich. Both were moist and perfect portions. What I really enjoyed the most was the curry chicken dish. This wouldn't be my first choice at a burger joint in Cape May, but after it was recommended I gave it a try. It was seriously better than I've had in some places in nyc. I would definitely come back and probably try another Indian inspired item.

Yelp
Exit Zero. The legendary end of the NJ GS Parkway. Go further at 80mph and you will be driving in the ocean, which is dark, wobbly and not suited to motor transport. We found this place during our 'OMG it's September we have been in this house for a year Congress Hall is apparently half open and we need to Get Out Of Here' trip. And now Cape May is a two or three times a year thing. Thanks Covid. So this place. Everything about this place screams 'Fail'. One, it's a converted gas station. What's wrong with a restaurant in a gas station? It's a gas station. Two. They have a gift shop. Ever go to a restaurant with a gift shop that works? Me either. Three. The Chef appears to be Scottish. Ever eat Scottish food? There is a reason Indian restaurants outnumber Scottish ones 1.783 million to one. And it's not population. I love Scottish people, I have some Scottish blood. It's the 1/8th of me that can't cook. I always get the Hot Chick. Which is an awesome name for a sandwich. And also true. So why are we in Cape May the night before Thanksgiving sitting at the bar? First the food. Only a Scot could pull off Curry and Burgers. Including an impossible burger, which is always a great choice and disappeared from a lot of places. The curry is tasty, although the Kracken is not what would be called 'medium' on Sochihall St. Second, they have vintage caravans outside for family dining. Who does this? Third Drinks! The cocktails are excellent. Bar staff knowledgeable, polite, tattooed and punky. South Philly without South Philly. And of course they serve every Cape May Brewery beer under the sun. They also serve Stateside and Naughty spirits from local businesses. We. Love. This. Fourth. I never get to 4 usually. The bathrooms. No spoilers Fifth. They support live music. The artists are amazingly talented and top of their game. In a town that loves live entertainment these are among the best. No no live music tonight? Pub music quiz! Last. The staff are always awesome. Always want to see you, always friendly. From Covid to tonight everyone has always been attentive, responsive and wanted to help. Love this place. Keep coming back. For and with the Hot Chick.

Yelp
Dude, let me tell you about this epic joint I stumbled upon: Exit Zero Filling Station, right there by the ferry waves in New Jersey. It's like, the ultimate fusion ride for your taste buds, man. Their menu's as eclectic as a wave lineup, blending Indian flavors in a symphony of taste that'll make you ride a flavor wave all the way to Nirvana, bro. And the vibes? Total chill zone, man. The ambience is like a perfect wave, just the right mix of mellow and exciting. You walk in, and it's like you've paddled out to a secret surf spot. The crew's as friendly as a pod of dolphins, welcoming you with that hang-loose spirit that makes you feel like you've been buddies since forever. But here's the kicker, bro. They're not just about humans catching the stoke - even the four-legged beach buddies get in on the action. My pup was stoked, man. They hooked her up with her own menu, like she's the captain of the surf squad. After a long day of road tripping and ferry crossings, Exit Zero Filling Station was like finding the perfect wave at sunset. So if you're ever cruising through Jersey and your taste buds are ready for a ride, paddle over to Exit Zero, catch those flavors, and ride the good vibes, man. Cowabunga, dudes!

Yelp
When I was planning my vacation to Cape May, this place was on my list of restaurants to go to, and my experience lined up with my expectations! My favorite dish by far was their Thai shrimp and coconut soup. It was just the right amount of sweet, and while the spice wasn't much to me, it still added to the soup's flavor and gave it a nice warmth to it. The menu isn't exaggerating when it says every table should order it. My entree was the Bang bang Chicken and shrimp curry, and it had both flavor and heat! The portion was also huge and since I couldn't finish it, I had lunch for tomorrow. Dessert could've been better: I got the beignets and while I don't mind some powdered sugar, these were drenched in that + chocolate sauce. Not what I expected (this wasn't on the menu I was given either, I had to ask the server, so I didn't know anything other than the fact that I was getting beignets), and if they were fluffy, it was hard to tell under everything else. But other than that, the restaurant was great. The outdoor area was decorated nicely, and they had a local artist playing music. Definitely has the renovated old gas station feel while still bringing something one of a kind and new.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, but inconsistent food + service. I will start off by saying that the Thai Lobster Curry here was one of my favorite dishes ever. Plus, the amount of lobster they give you is incredibly generous--my leftovers for the next day were a full meal! However, our Cauliflower Bites in Thai sauce appetizer came out undercooked, which was quite unpleasant. We also had extremely long gaps in-between our appetizers and entrees coming out, an entree order came out incorrectly which caused another long delay, and then it took us 15+ minutes to get the check. Exit Zero Filling Station is definitely a cool and fun looking spot, though it seems one's experience there may greatly depend on what you get and who your server is.

Yelp
This was by and far the best restaurant we ate at in the Cape May area. My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner and eat here multiple times on our trip. Every other food place nearby was mediocre in comparison. I was starving when we arrived at 12pm on Memorial Day Monday. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer. These came out fast and were tasty and moreish. My husband got the burger which was amazing. It was served with waffle fries on the side which were well-cooked, not overly oily. My seafood pot pie was heavy but delicious. It had a crisp puff pastry filled with seafood and vegetables in a creamy sauce. It was a delicious comfort meal. Both outdoor and indoor seating were available. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend eating at this place if you're near Cape May.
