The hotel is neat, cozy and in a convenient location. It is right by Douro River, and you can watch nice sunset and walk to the restaurants and bars along the river in less than 2 minutes.
The hotel staff are super friendly and made me feel like home. The hotel has cute Christmas decorations during the time of my stay (early December), and the room is clean and well furnished.
I love the fact that the bed is high, huge and comfortable, with soft but thick pillows that supported my neck and helped me sleep really well. The bathroom floor has heated tiles so my feet felt nice and warm stepping on it despite the cold weather. I also enjoyed opening the window and watching the busy streets with a cup of hot tea (my room had the city instead of the river view as the river ones were fully booked), which was one of the most memorable moments during my stay in Porto.
The hotel breakfast was fantastic! They even had açai juice! They offered a wide selection of foods: yogurt, cheeses, fruits, pastries and bread, and you can order bacon and eggs from the kitchen (btw the scrambled eggs were delicious)! The breakfast wasn’t as lavish as the fancy hotel ones and this is exactly what I liked about, as the right amount of foods and the cleanliness have made me feel the staff have poured in their hearts into every single detail. The hotel almost felt like home to me, I would definitely choose the same hotel if I go to Porto again.
