Explora Valle Sagrado

Most amazing hotel on the planet! The property is located in the center of the beautiful sacred valley with access to everything it has to offer. You wake up in comfortable and stylish rooms to the aroma of vanilla from the burning wood near by. The food and wait staff are absolutely incredible. We have never felt so taken care of at a hotel. All of this and I have yet to mention how amazing the explorations from the hotel can be. During our trip, we went on exciting hikes, interacted with local culture, and learned about the history and people of the valley. Whether you are seeking a relaxing trip or a challenging adventure, Explora is able to meet your needs.

We had an amazing stay at Explora Sacred Valley. The property is stunning—such a comfortable space with beautiful decor—and the staff were friendly and attentive. We only had three days and wished we could have stayed longer.||The explorations were all wonderful, with the Maras Plateau hike being a standout. There’s such a great variety of options that I wish we’d had more time to experience even more. The spa was fantastic. We took full advantage of it, from using the yoga room for stretches to daily dips in the jacuzzi and relaxing massages. Stargazing was another special highlight.||The food was delicious, and I appreciated that they were able to accommodate my vegan diet. I do wish there had been more plant-based protein options, especially since the explorations can be physically demanding.||Lastly, the transfers from Cusco Airport and to the Ollantaytambo train station were seamless, making the whole experience feel effortless. We can’t wait to visit another Explora location.

My second time in Explora and always an excellent experience! The best vacations ever. Great views from the hotel, excellent trails and explorations, the food absolutely delicious and the rooms are just perfect. They make you feel at home with every detail they put on. They guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Diego Jesus, that attended our table every dinner and lunch, explaining the food and recipes!

Explora Valle Sagrado was an incredible experience from start to finish. All aspects were handled with care and a personal touch. If you are planning a trip to Machu Picchu or the Sacred Valley, Explora is a must stay. The food alone is worth it. Cheers!
