The tour was amazing! Sir Mark, our tour guide, was very helpful and informative. He shared a lot of information about the places we visited, along with some interesting stories. He made sure the journey was never boring. One thing I really appreciated about him was that he always asked if we needed water every time we got back in the van. Overall, the experience was truly great. Thank you!

Explorer Tours’ Rocky Mountain National Park trip was amazing! Brian was a terrific guide — fun and knowledgeable. We started in Estes Park with a stop at the iconic Stanley Hotel, then headed into RMNP for stunning mountain views and a peaceful lunch at Sprague Lake with Moose, Blue Jays, Mule Deer, Wild Turkeys, Pikas, birds of prey, and Yellow-bellied Marmots. Trail Ridge Road was jaw-dropping, and the whole day felt like a perfect Colorado postcard with endless mountain peaks and topography. Highly recommend!

We took a tour today with Mark. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. He shared a wealth of information in a very fun way. Mark was always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. He was very personable and even helped us with pictures while we were on the trip. We were provided with water and had a nice lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour company. Mark was an excellent guide and we had a wonderful time at pike's peak and the garden of the gods.

Marc was our guide for this trip. He collected us at Union Station and took us the short journey to the very nice, comfortable mini-bus. Overall we were a small group however Marc ensured we still had an enjoyable experience. He was super attentive to my elderly mother's needs and was willing to adapt for this. The Red Rock Amphitheatre was incredible - a real highlight of the trip and a must see. This was followed by a leisurely stroll at Evergreen Lake, outstanding views at Look out mountain and a trip to Golden. Marc was super informative sharing the history and throwing in some fun facts too. He ensured our comfort throughout the trip. He also provided complimentary water throughout. This trip was great value for money and would highly recommend. Marc was brilliant and only added to the enjoyment of our trip. You would be crazy not to book this

The tour to Rocky Mountain National Park was truly one of the best tours I have taken. Dave provided a lot of great information, which made the ride engaging the whole way. He made sure to give us enough time at each stop and let us stop for any wildlife sightings!

We went on the Rocky Mountain Tour and Marc was our guide! This was an awesome trip, despite my mom being sick. Marc was very accommodating and made the trip amazing. The views were absolutely breathtaking.

Dave was a fantastic tour guide. My husband, 3 children and myself took the tour and got wonderful pictures. We even saw elk and a moose during our August tour!

I originally booked the Garden of the Gods/Pikes Peak tour. Unfortunately, not enough people signed up so Explorer gave me the option to choose a new date, get a full refund, or join the Rocky Mountain National Park tour. I chose the RMNP tour and I am so glad I did! First, Explorer has great communication and kept me well informed. The directions for where to meet up were very clear and our tour guide David was right on time. The van we rode in was very comfortable and the ride seemed to fly by because David is an excellent tour guide! He gave us lots of history and interesting stories along the way. He is very knowledgeable. The tour itself was amazing. We saw a moose and lots of elk. We even got snow flurries when we stopped at a viewing point. It was perfect! We ate a delicious lunch by Sprague Lake. David had plenty of waters for everyone, in case a refill was needed. There is a trail around the lake that you can walk. Don't miss that! On the eay out of the park, David took us on a very scenic route. It was breathtaking! The tour included a stop at the famous Stanley Hotel. I would like to go back there and take The Shining Tour sometime or have a drink in their beautiful bar. Before we knew it, the tour was coming to an end. From start to finish, this was an excellent tour. Explorer (and David) is very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to take another tour with them.

Yelp
We had the good luck to have Michelle, possibly Mary as our guide for the Rocky Mountain National Park tour. The 'possibly Mary' part is a joke. When I said I'd write this up on Yelp, she said her name was Mary. She met us at the flagpole outside of Union Station right on time. One of our party was late and therefore we got a little late start. Once on the road, we got a little history of Denver in general. Informative. We stopped along the way in St. Vrain. Small town. We stopped at a general store for a potty break and of course to purchase. It smelled delicious in there. Sausage, baked goods, etc. Once in the park we had lunch. Turkey sandwiches from the Farmers Market. Good eats. We drove to different spots in the park. Fall colors at the end of their peak, but still gorgeous. We saw many elk. It's rutting time and it was interesting to watch the males steal the women from each other. The elk 'bugle' is kind of neat and creepy. Returning to Denver we were taken through Boulder. Quite the bustling city. It was a great time. Michelle had her iPod filled with various playlists. Most enjoyable. Thanks, Michelle. 10/06/21 Today we tour the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Our tour guide is Jim, a really laid back and just all around cool guy. We are being transported in a Mercedes Sprinter. Very nice and roomy. We travel through Colorado Springs, see the city and the Air Force academy. The first stop is the garden. Beautiful oxides formations of all shapes and sizes. The fun part was watching a family climb one of these large rocks. Actually, it looked like dad teaching the two kids and mom snapping pics. The kids were no older than 5-8 years old, but they were climbing little monkeys. It was mom making me nervous as she backed up to take the pics. Didn't want to see her topple over the edge. From here we go to Pikes Peak. What a difference in scenery and temperature. The garden was warm at about 75, while the peak was about 38. At the top there is a cafe where you can purchase drinks, food and the best thing of all - daily baked cake doughnuts. Cinnamon sugar or chocolate glazed. 'Chocolate glazed' doesn't do them justice. The icing is thick fudge-like and just awesome. When we checked in at the entrance gate, the ranger said we wouldn't be able to go to the top because of pending weather. But when we got to the point she said we could not go beyond, there was nothing to stop us so we went to the top and doughnuts. Yea!! But mother cold and windy, making the temp feel even colder. But beautiful views. Of course the obligatory souvenir shop is attached to the cafe. Ha, ha. Fun, fun. Jim got us to the top!

Yelp
