Explorers Bistro

After discovering Explorers Bistro and how amazing the food is, I’ve been working my way through the menu whenever I go there. The place is clean, staff is friendly, food is a must try experience- and once you do you’ll be back for more! Especially if you try the Bruschetta!! Beautifully decorated! All spices, marinades and sauces created in house by the chef! For cocktails/mocktails they use fresh squeezes limes and lemons. Food cooked fresh- not from frozen. Great place to sit down and enjoy a meal or they do takeout as well as listed on Uber Eats! Must try if you live or stopping by Midland, Ontario area!

We had a nice experience the other day at the Explorer's Bistro, but I was a bit disappointed that several menu items we wished were unavailable. Also, I found that, for a place with very traditional Greek cuisine, the Greek Salad wasn't the most authentic. I had really hoped to try their lamb, but it wasn't available. I will give it a try again, as the place was very nice, and the service was very good. I'd say the price was fair, if maybe a little expensive for what was served.

We come to Midland quite often in the summer and were happy to visit this place! Most of the places offer deep fried stuff and here everything is made from scratch. The interior of the restaurant is charming, they have a nice patio as well. Portion size is on the bigger size and everything tasted delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive, especially to our children. We loved everything and will definitely be back.

Cozy place on a quiet winter evening. Lovely, creative atmosphere. I bet the patio in the summer is the place to be. Souvlaki and lamb cooked to perfection, seasoned well. Would have preferred some veggies with the Souvlaki instead of triple carbs, but all tasty.

I had dinner with my family for Thanksgiving, and we all ordered the Thanksgiving special. It was amazing, in my opinion. My family and I enjoyed this 3 course meal. We got soup, a main course, and dessert for $28. Definitely will dine here again.

The decor of the restaurant is fantastic - it's light and comfortable, with beautiful pictures of locations all over the world on all of the walls. It seems that they change their menu periodically to be from one part of the world at a time - when I visited, the menu was all Mediterranean cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious, and my favourite was actually the appetiser, Spanokopita. It's like a small pie stuffed with cheese and pita, and I could have eaten that as my full meal.

Been eating at different restos for the last five nights, this has been by far, the BEST one. Delicious food, made fresh to order, NOT FROZEN, prices are great for the quality you get. Thank you so much Explorers, for your phenomenal service and flavour ⭐️🤩⭐️

Where do I start… The food is simply divine, the service is beyond amazing and the decor is on point. I’ve eaten here a few times, in house and for take out. Unfortunately I had forgotten to take photos while dinning in, but the Mushroom Risotto was perfectly made, the Lamb Shank was absolutely mouth watering, and the Truffle Burger and Truffle fries are a favourite of mine. Autumn was my server both times, throughly enjoyed her service and her dedication to her customers. For the price, you get what you pay for. Will be back more often! Thanks again

Excellent food and great service. Best restaurant in Midland. The variety of the menu is superb.

Food and wait staff were fine but the attitude of the owner when I complained about the price one glass of house chardonnay (with tax and tip over $40.) left something to be desired. Effectively her view was, not our problem you should have asked the price. With that approach to customer satisfaction we can only hope they're not in business long. I think there are other restaurants in Midland were your patronage will be appreciated.

The food was cold by the time it got to my table, the service was horrible, it took an hour and a half for me to get my food, the ambiance was even worse, they were blaring loud Indian music to the point where I couldn't talk to my friends sitting across the table. Do not go here.

A lovely relaxed setting for dinner with friends. The food was very flavourful and hot from the kitchen. Would go back for a special occasion.
