Bartender was friendly, however the problem I have is with the drinks. They are incredibly expensive for what you get, especially when there is cheaper drinking alternatives just around the corner. The drinks might I add were also a 7/10. I would look else where to lounge because the scenery(at least as of right now) is lacking. Maybe once the restrictions are lifted this will be better.

Great place to relax and listen to cool 80's and 90's music. My one problem with this place: THE SOUND IS WAY, WAY, WAY TOO QUIET. I get it that it's in the middle of the gambling floor, but come on! The bands are great, waitresses friendly.. but just WAY too low of volume.

Sat down here for a second to escape the heat. Noone else around early in the mornings so it's a nice place to sit and rest for a second. Didn't see a bartender but I also wasn't looking for a drink either.

Expensive for small drinks with hardly any alcohol. Bartender free pours so who knows how much was in it but not much.

Had a good time ,able to play poker machines, bartenders were good and attentive.

Excellent place to be if you want down time and relax watching your favorite game!☺

Atrocious service at midnight on 09/25/25. No acknowledgement of my husband or I from either bartender- one of them went to clean instead of asking what we want. We left because this service is a joke compared to the bartender at NY NY. You missed out on high tippers- back to NY NY to tip the bartender who knows how to provide excellent service- you get my tips. The bartenders here are lame.

His extensive knowledge of cocktails and friendly recommendations made it easy to find the perfect drink. But what really impressed me was the Great customer service .

Was in listening to our favorite band again last night and I was hoping I could update with a better review. We arrived around 11pm and the place was packed ( if course, because Roxy Gunn Project is an awesome band!). We stood around for 15 min or so and a table for 2 left so after realizing there is no wait staff, I cleared the table myself while my husband was ordering drinks. The drinks are fine and average prices for Vegas. Sadly, I asked for waters and was told if I wanted bottled water I would have to pay since I was not gambling. I said I am local and don't mind the tap water. The bartenders now have to try to clear tables and keep the drinks flowing. Not impressed with managements lack of staffing when it is a weekend and they have a live band on stage.

You pay for convenience. $26 for a Lagunitas and an Amaretto Sour - ouch! The cocktail tasted great but your wallet sure feels it. The bartender was quick and the waitresses are friendly. Nice experience and conveniently located but tough to stomach the pricing.

At my recent Vegas trip, one of the weirdest place I ever stumbled across was this place...the Extra Lounge. I didn't know the significance of this place until I went home and checked it out. Apparently, this is the area where their television show's Extra correspondents would taped their interview segments at this location whenever they do a celebrity interviews in Las Vegas. Just imagine how many times Paris Hilton or Brad Pitt may have visited Vegas and have been interviewed at this spot. I can't say I was sitting at the same reclining seats that Brad Pitt might have chilled only because I thought it was a typical sports bar. They have about 8 television screens on the wall showing NFL football games when we were there. So it doesn't looked like an interview set. We decided to bypass the gaming machines at the bar and hit the low reclining sofa chair and the foot stool. It is actually was pretty nice to chill out there, but it can be a real pain in the arse when the people waiting in buffet lines would occupied some of the chairs that is for the lounge patrons. Lazy bums! After those freeloading moochers took off, there would be new wave of them wanting to take the seats. So sometimes you have to get aggressive with those buffet patrons would are tired of standing in that long line and taking those cushioned seats. The margarita drink I had ordered was a bit stiff. It's definitely strong, but a bit off from what I would liked. The great news is that the price on those drinks range around $8-$10 which is a lot lower than other Vegas bars (ie B Bar at the Wynn). The Extra Lounge is very close to the front entrance of the Planet Hollywood casino and right next to the Miracle Mile shopping mall inside of the hotel. Definitely a prime spot in the Planet Hollywood casino. you can't missed it. Oh, did I mentioned that it was next to the buffet line? Gawd, I hate those guys. Just move those line to another direction and I would have been satisfied. Other than those pesky squatters, it is actually a cool place to get a few drinks right before you shop or gamble at the Planet Hollywood (formerly known as Aladdin) casino. Too bad, I didn't see any celebrities that gotten interviewed there at the time. However I am pretty sure I sit on a chair that might been occupied by the butt of Paris Hilton...... ....naaaw! -------- PS. The bar is also open 24 Hours. They had a great band we start and watch the waitress for about three songs and she never came to our table and two others. Very under staffed I guess. Awesome band tho

The bartenders here are amazing!! Great guys who take care of their customers. Mark on the graveyard shift is the best! Been coming here for 15 years when I'm in Vegas and he always gives top notch service; my glass is never empty. Andrew, Michael and Raul are awesome too. When we come to this bar we feel like family. Check it out when you're in town!!

My girlfriends and I made this bar our second home during last weekend's birthday rockstar happy time trip to Vegas. Bartender Drew adored us and we attracted what we called the United Nations of Hotness both nights -- Swedes, Brits, and the ubiquitous American d-bag. It's not trendy, it's not hip, and the warbling singer dude tends to ruin whatever atmosphere there is. But there's lots of seats and the slots and tables are just a few steps away. I love you, Extra Lounge! The only thing wrong with this place are the drink prices. I couldn't bear to look at the tabs, so I just charged it to my room. And I still haven't looked at that bill...

By most measures, this is just another casino bar, but its location and high visibility make it a hotspot in spite of OTHER Planet Hollywood bars' advertising and designerly chic; right inside the doors from Las Vegas Blvd, adjacent to the poker room, and near the stairs for the Mezzanine, Extra Lounge probably sees more traffic than the other bars combined. Saturday nights here are decidedly raucous, with the high prospect of seeing the young mingled with new school celebrities; PH is still really new. Sunday and Monday nights from 9-1, the extra bar serves as a karaoke spot. And Karaoke is what it is... rarely good, but entertaining! Oh, and one of the most kick@ss Bloody Marys I've ever ever had at 3:15am... & 3:35am... 4:00... 4:10... 4:something... 5:ish...

This is an alright little spot. It's a wide open lounge area and definitely on the small side. But the cover bands / singers aren't too shabby and the waitresses are quick to take your order and bring your drinks. All in all, not a bad spot to hang out for a bit.

During my last trip in Vegas, we stopped at the Extra Lounge for some drinks since it was smack dab in the middle of the Planet Hollywood Casino. Basically, the service here isn't that great, and the drinks were not good at all.. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying Vegas prices for drinks, but not for shitty drinks... My friends and I ordered LC's, and usually we like them, but the ones here almost killed us. The only good thing about this place is that it's in the middle of the casino, so you can stop here for a drink real quick if walking around.

This is a nice bar with a nice lounge area to watch a Golden Knights game. The bartenders Micky and Larry gave us tremendous service and made the best Mai Tais I've had in Las Vegas. I will definitely be back. :)

Great little sports bar to lounge in and relax. Plenty of flat screens everywhere with ESPN and all the games. The bar tenders here are friendly and are heavy handed with their pours! I also have to say that I think PH has hottest cocktail waitresses in town!

A bar inside the Planet Hollywood hotel and casino. They have an area for live entertainment, but sadly none during the day. The drinks were good, but no table service during day hours. So go to the bar, to order your drink. The bartender was very good, but who on earth decorated this place?? The tables and seats were so low to the ground, they felt like tables in a Kindergarten classroom. Drink too much and you'll feel like you are falling into the chairs. They are that close to the floor.

Extra Lounge is the place you go to, to sit down, have a drink and enjoy listening to live music. I was here on a Monday night listening to Monroy (80's Cover Band), and for someone who enjoys more mainstream music, I enjoyed it. Waitresses were quick to get you your drinks and were also very friendly. Make sure to stop by here before you head out or why not spend your evening vibing to the 80's. Cheers!

So we came in here and lots of empty tables but not one clean one. So we cleaned off our own table and had to go to the bar to get a rag and get our drinks. Then we ventured out into the casino and when we came back, same story. Not one clean table. Drinks are expensive enough you shouldn't have to bus your own table. Have not seen one waitress for the place! Worst place we've been in Vegas so far!

Crown Avenue was one of the best bands we have ever seen in Vegas. Staff was really friendly! Drinks were great!

Very expensive drinks, almost tasted like water. We asked waitress and she said manager does not want too much alcohol in the drinks. Whaaat!!!!! They had live music....the band was bad too.

Fun to relax and have a drink, watch TV and talk, nothing more. I prefer to save the $ and play them on a nearby slot and just tip the CW $1, but thats just me.

What kept me from voting the Extra Lounge lower is that it is great for people watching being near a hotel exit, has comfy modern seating, decent service, and great bands even if management keeps the band volume lower than I would like. Otherwise, I would rather visit Yolos. The bands we saw here on Friday and Saturday nights were great and covered a lot of different songs, but were hampered by the volume on the vocals being barely audible. We told the waitress about this, and she advised how annoyed she was with this too, but said it was managements' decision to turn down the volume this low. Even so, the venue could at least do a better job of audio balancing or get 3 man bands instead of 4-5. There will be at least 1-2 tables that are really digging the music and sometimes a handful of people will dance while everyone else is talking among themselves. The waitress from both nights provided great service, easy on the eyes, and recognized me on the second night. During the day, there's a handful of TVs that can show various sports games, and the staff are willing to change the channel to what the people want.

bad service. ugly bar. the bartender actually told me she works part time as a call girl and if I wanted her services to call her and handed me her number. Ummm. No. Just wanted to stop by for a quick drink before hitting the casino and going to a show with my family, not interested.

The "lounge" is pretty bad, if I could I would rate it zero stars. Waitress that helped us (the only reason I gave the "lounge" a star) was really nice, but this bar is way over priced. Paid $10 for a watered down vodka cranberry that I could've gotten for free just by gambling at the penny machines. Would not recommend this "lounge" to anyone, definitely will not return

I love this bar! Everytime i go to Vegas, this is one of the spots we hit up. The bartender, Andrew, is amazing and amusing. Excellent shot maker. Matt Newbold, the piano man, on sundays is a riot.
