If you want authentic Cuban food, this is your place. Rice and beans were awesome, the masitas were nice and juicy, and the tostones were crispy. All cooked to order and seed oil free. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Food is extremely expensive and not good. 4 ppl $170 one can of soda $2.75. The only thing that was amazing was the bread w/butter.

It's one of the very few places that is still open 24 hours and it is much appreciated.

I completely do not recommend it if you are going to book an event here with them They offer a event room In the contract, she herself (the owner) sad said that I did not have to pay for the children’s seats since they were under three years old and they weren’t going to eat. There was no point of buying them a meal plan because all they ate was their own little food. When she found out, it was mostly going to be more kids than adults. Then she refused to give me the seats because she said that I had to pay per seat, not per plate, which was not what she said in the original contract. Honestly, only because I left a deposit already. If not, I would have definitely canceled on her. I extremely do not recommend this place. please keep away from it as best as you can.

I ordered the masitas de puerco with white rice and black beans and it was a huge serving and very flavorful. No complaints here.

I’ve been coming here since younger with my kids father before our 3 children. Now I come with my kids and it’s just as fresh as it was back then. The owner is a sweetheart, her mother is adorable, and the waiters are very nice. Anyone with small children will know it isn’t easy finding a place that’s kid friendly as well as patient and that is only found here. Very clean and always fresh! The grill chicken with rice and beans is my personal favorite! Worth every penny! It’s refreshing to come to a place where there’s no bad looks, just smiles! I will never stop coming here. You will LOVE it!

A thousand stars for this place! Amazing owner and staff! They are so welcoming and friendly! Had our Wedding Reception here! Food and service was amazing, they took care of everything. They made our day so special. Highly recommend them for a special event and also for their restaurant, food and drinks are always so delicious!

Food was ok Service was excellent I kind of felt bad for the Waitress because she had to clean up the mess that the owner spued out on us! Let me explain: My friend and I walked into the restaurant we asked the waitress. Can we sit anywhere? She said yes we then asked to see the menu we downloaded the app to review menu but also asked about the daily specials waitress told us baked chicken or roasted pork with rice beans and a soup, since it was lunchtime, we decided on the special small portions right and I have to say the Waitress was amazingly nice. She came back withour drinks and then she came back with our meals as we're eating a woman in a white coat we're guessing the chef came over my friend and I thought she's coming to ask how did we like the food , no not at all. She came to reprimand us how dear we sit in the table that has table cloths because table cloths cost money and if we were gonna just buy the special, we should've never sat where the table cloths are she said, as a matter fact, the specials are just to go not even to eat in house never in my life,, felt like throwing up the food because of how she made us feel we felt unwelcomed. This was the worst experience of my life and I am 61 year-old woman. I've been to many restaurants! this was truly an awful experience, I've never been treated this way. This woman was way out of line has no clue what it is to have or run a Restaurant and what it means to show hospitality to your guest. I will never go to that restaurant again and I would never recommend it. And to be honest, the decor was from a throwback to the 80s seriously how much are polyester tablecloths ? I feel so sorry for her staff. I recommend Unico's on 43rd and Park Avenue prices are great and they make you feel like 1 million bucks. Ps the daily special board that was outside The restaurant had no mention of section of Restaurant or if it was only to go!

Had the Cuban Style Arroz con Pollo It was SPECTACULAR, You must come and have it believe me you will love it ‍‍

Always dependable and reliable food quality. The croqueta's are consistently good. Also open late so great for a midnight snack.

This place will rob you for your money! I went there to have a simple little breakfast with my six-year-old some eggs fries and three strips of bacon. My six-year-old one of them scrambled and I had them over easy. They literally charged me $13 for the scrambled and 16 for the over easy! I spent $33.00 on a breakfast that should have been no more then $18-$25 total! My mistake for not asking for the menu! Never Again!!

Came back to give this place a second chance. I met the owners who where there. Charming mother and daugther. I ordered the stuffed tostones with shrimp. Delicious! Tostones were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They changed my perspective. Very good homey Cuban food.

This is a good casual Spanish restaurant. This was the place that my dad took me to while my mom was food shopping next door. You can get a great expresso, croquettas and Cuban sandwich here. The food is very traditional, great price and friendly staff. It is usually very busy on the weekends and parking is a hassle, but if your wife is food shopping next door and you find yourself with nothing to do, do not hesitate to stop in for a bite!

Great food. They have a seperate party space that can be rented for about $1000 for a decent amount of space. You can hold parties here and pretty much have the entire back area of this place for yourself including a bar and everything if you want. The staff was very nice and the food was excellent also. I enjoyed my Pechuga ala plancha and the rice was amazing. The staff was always busy running around making sure everyone had enough soda/beer and that the food was not just sitting there and changing it when it was getting cold or half eaten. We stayed there for a few hours and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves so I will be back here in the future! Great place

Awesome Cuban food. I have tried a variety of things and have never been disappointed. The chicken is always tender and flavorful. I recently tried their chicken fricassee and this is perhaps the best chicken dish I've ever had. I also had a side of maduros and ate every single one! They were absolutely delicious. Being Cuban, I love my black beans and rice... this will not disappoint! Awesome dish!

Terrible, this place is the worse place to throw a party!! They tell you one thing and when time comes they do something else. Straight trash not worth it dont spend your money!! Went to a party they hosted they didn't serve plates for appetizers everyone had crumbs all over themselves, they waiters looked like they hated life and didnt want to be there. The appetizers were the worst. fried ham and cheese with platano chips, fake chicken empanadas no one even wants! They served for dinner what they wanted and not what was agreed. Terrible!! It was just terrible! If you like this place u must be an idiot and never experience a good place to host a party. LOOK ELSE WHERE!!

Perhaps some of the best Cuban food around. I would compare them to any Cuban restaurant anywhere and especially Miami. The BEST CUBAN SANDWICH around, the best MASITAS! A MUST FOR GREAT CUBAN FOOD.

My boyfriend and I come to eat here pretty often. It's the only restaurant in the area that is open 24 hour and serves delicious Latin American dishes. We went earlier today and had the tostones rellenos de pollo and you could taste how fresh the chicken was and the tostones were recently cooked. We also had chicharon de pollo and chicken in garlic wine sauce with white rice and black beans. DELICIOUS. The prices can't be beat! Definitely recommend this place!

I am Cuban and I considered This restaurant an extra bad restaurant . For no reason don't ask for a Cuban sandwich because it s just made with 2 slices of cheese and 2 slides of jam . Beside that , the Chechen wrap looked like it was made from the chicken wing, it was full of lettuce ... The only that you can eat there it's the tostones rellenos.. And the sakes . It is a EXTRA EXPENSIVE!!!!

Pharmaceutical Representatives please be very careful with dealing with Tanya in charge of corporate catering. She is very deceptive and inconsistent with pricing. The food is descent but prices can range from very reasonable to ridiculous once you start ordering more regularly. Tanya prides herself on being very professional yet will over charge and not have the common courtesy to return calls once she starts over charging. There are so many fine Spanish establishments in the area to choose from, get prices in writing because she will take advantage at any given opportunity to over charge if she feels she can get away with it. She will not have the decency to return calls when prices are disputable. AGAIN, Pharm Reps please do not trust set prices given orally. She exploits Pharma representatives, will over charge at the first given opportunity. She is very sweet until she figures out how to overcharge, which she will do. She really fooled me, had to pay a corporate lunch out of my own personal pocket.
