We love the shop. Very cozy place and they serve fresh meals and good coffee. All staff are friendly. We'll always visit when in town

What a perfect place to have breakfast/brunch time! Everything is perfect here: the food which is qualitative, fresh and made at order ; the atmosphere of the coffee which is really cute ; and the staff whom is really kind! Plus the dishware is britishly lovely! We loved it so much we came back the next day!

Coffee is great, so worm welcome. Expecially, Petto is so lovely and kind, she greet us everytime. You should enjoy here☺️

I couldn’t help but leave this review after my experience yesterday and feeling absolutely humiliated over an iced matcha. We called in on the way to the football and I said to my husband that the buns looked unreal and that we have to come back to get something but I just ordered a matcha at that point. An iced matcha was £4.80 and I was charged £5.10 (for an extra that I didn’t order or get) but I said nothing cause 30p isn’t the end of the world. As I was waiting I could see a lot of whispering between the staff then the older woman that was making food called me over and said that the payment didn’t go through and that I’d have to pay again. At that point I said that I had been over charged and then I looked at Monzo and the payment had been taken. She then continued to say that it wasn’t showing on their end (on the phone that was sitting on top of their till) and that I hadn’t paid. I showed her the transaction and said I had paid and that I wouldn’t be paying again. The woman who was then making my drink said to that woman TWICE that it was okay but she continued to tell me that I hadn’t paid despite me showing my Monzo transaction. I said if the transaction bounced I would message on instagram and pay them. That was at 10:31am Sat 5th Dec and it is now 10am Sun 6th Dec and the transaction has not bounced because it left my account as I told the woman multiple times. This was such a disappointing first experience and I felt humiliated being accused of not paying because there was clearly a delay on their end and I won’t be back to try the buns that looked amazing. I’ll obviously not get an apology from that woman but she could do with some training in customer service because she handled the situation so badly

It’s actually hard to find certified vegan options in this part of London tbh - this place is popping. Had a cautious banana loaf slice and flat white but I’ll be back for actual food!

Lovely cafe to enjoy vegan meals, pastries and a hot cup of hot chocolate (or coffee). Nice vibe, music and friendly staff. They currently have a no laptop policy which was quite inconvenient for me as I traveled there to work, but I ended up having to do some other tasks from my phone. However if you're not looking to work from you laptop, you can sit in, use your phone and enjoy the free range egg omelette with mushrooms and brie cheese- it's delicious! 👌🏾

I’ve stumbled into this place twice in the last week and felt compelled to write a review. Really relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, made better by the books available to pick up and skim. Excellent cake selection (mostly vegan) and coffee that tastes as good as it looks. Will be back!

After meeting one of my friends living near Highbury & Islington station, I was looking for a space nearby for my work. And I was attracted by a boy focusing on his laptop with his back to the glass window of a coffee shop named EZ & Moss. Ok, maybe a good place, why not try? It is a quiet small vegetarian coffee shop but still full of good vibes. Unfortunately, there are only two power points. However, another thing made my day is their toilet with a special sense of humor. They named the bathroom “interview room”, which makes people confused the first time you come. And interior design is quite industrial, quirky and vintage. There is a label above the toilet——Do not use the toilet while the train is standing in the station. Just 2 power points. The tables are quite narrow. Toilet: One for unisex Ambience: The music is low and distraction-free. There are some remote workers here. Cozy, industrial, quirky painting and full of good vibes. Cost: Coffee £2.2-£3.0, Tea £2.7, Brunch £5-£9.5 (Porridge, toast, omelette, burger, sandwiches), they provide a good selection of vegan and veggie food and bakery stuff. Something special about the cafe: (1) Quirky and funny toilet. (2) Free tap water with lemon.

I love this cafe. The southern end of Holloway Road has some real eating gems and this is one of them. I've stopped for lunch a few times and sampled very good quiche, an excellent falafel platter with shredded beetroot inside and today's lunch special: a quesadilla with guacamole, salsa and a poached egg. Mmm. The coffee is good, staff are super efficient and friendly and food comes quickly and is made with care and attention. Prices are reasonable. The cafe is compact, clean and airy so top scores all round. Oh and it's vegetarian and vegan.

We can't deny it anymore, people. Holloway Road is becoming a hot spot. The inevitable spillover from nearby Upper Street means that the Guardian-reading denizens of Islington are starting to mill around the lower section of Holloway Road a lot more than they used to. Although there are all the usual mixed feelings about gentrification, I can't say I'm not excited about the current influx of posh cafes and coffee shops just outside my door. EZ & Moss is a delightful new addition, serving up vegetarian & vegan fare (fantastic brunch!), great coffee and wonderful baked goods in an atmosphere that isn't "too" hipster - nowhere near the level of extreme hipster you'd find a few miles east. (Part of the reason I love Islington -- cool, but not too cool). The *only* reason it loses a star is because of the lack of meat on the menu -- I'm an unapologetic carnivore who is partial to a bit of bacon with my weekend brunch. Islingtonites, check this new spot out! PS - Unlike nearby Vagabond N7, these guys take card payment, hurrah!

Limited menu, mostly seasonal baked goods and eggs but it was a nice place to warm up and grab a snack from after the Arsenal match. Everything was very homemade tasting.

Absolutely lovely people, delicious food, yummy coffee and warm cozy atmosphere. I've tried several menu items and have loved them all. Oh and their matcha muffin - nothing quite like it! As a vegan, my needs are met! Really going to miss this place when I relocate shortly.

Yay veggie food! There was a great selection for brunchy food here. I had a quinoa and lentil burger! Mmm lovely and fresh and yum. It's a cosy little place with a lot of charm, but not a lot of seating. A perfect place to chill on a sunday :)

I just finished the butternut squash and sweet potato soup with a a dollop of yogurt and two slices toasted brown bread. Whilst it's a nice hot bowl of soup, the flavours don't particularly stick out and £4.5 is a bit much. There are also other nice-sounding veg sandwich and quiche options (and a quinoa and lentil burger) but the sour faces of most of the staff are a turnoff.

This little cafe is truly a gem on Holloway Road. The food is all fresh and made with care, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I especially recommend their quiches as they make for a perfect lunch. The staff are polite and helpful at all times. As a traveller, I appreciated being able to have a peaceful meal in a cafe near to my accommodation.

Having recently moved to the area I happened upon this cafe with friends one Sunday afternoon. Going in with no expectations I can tell you that we were soon blown away by the food. Everything on the counter in relation to presentation looks amazing and the taste was delicious. I had the quinoa burger (so so good) and carrot cake, would be a worthy place for breakfast also! The ambience was a very chilled out vibe and although we arrived late for lunch the crowds didn't come in until after we arrived. A perfect weekend location!

I just moved around the corner from the this coffee shop, and it has exactly the vibe that wants you to make it your local place. It reminded me a lot of Maison d'Etre by Highbury & Islington, actually, with a cool laid back hipster vibe. I came for brunch and coffee on a Saturday morning and was able to walk in without a reservation, but most of the tables were full and people were just hanging out long after their meal had finished. The one thing I didn't realise until coming is that it's a vegetarian / vegan restaurant, which I thought was really interesting. I had a Moroccan benedict instead of the usual eggs benedict, and in place of the hollandaise, they had a tomato sauce that resembled either a warm salsa or ratatouille, which I did not find very appealing. My poached egg was also not runny in the slightest. My friend had a refreshing meal with cucumber, tomato, cheese, and soft boiled eggs with toast, although his eggs were not all that runny either. I would come back here for the artisan coffee, but for food I would probably try something else on the menu besides the ones that we ordered. Maison d'Etre has amazing brunch food, and it's possible this place does too, but the poor execution on the eggs and the unappetizing Moroccan tomato sauce was rather disappointing.

Holloway Road is hotting up when it comes to coffee shops. Ez & Moss has been there a while now and it totally delivers, it's the best place locally. Great coffee and excellent food, coupled with a good vibe. It can get busy but that tells you something! Love the brunch and it's a good lunch option too.

Stumbled across this little cafe on our hunt for coffee on a bright but cold Wednesday morning - and I am so happy I did! Gorgeous interiors, a little industrial shabby-chic going on, and friendly staff. I didn't even realise it was veggie until we left as my eyes were drawn straight to the avocado on toast. Normally I'm meat for every meal but this one was a little special. Great loose leaf tea too. I've now raved about it to everyone I know, so expect to be down there most Saturdays for brunch!

Had an excellent soy flat white, and an absolutely delicious corn chowder here, served with tasty sourdough toast. The atmosphere is lovely and chilled, I'll be back here often.
