Usually a pretty fair experience at this location however today…the Cajun fries were terrible! They were overly seasoned to where we could not even eat them. The bbq ranch sauce was not it. Need to figure out the ratio better

Whew for starters they’re so stingy with the food , I’ve been coming here for years and the last few times I’m always having to pay for extra stuff because they’re so stingy. Small amount of sides. Also, why are they charging .60 cents for a small condiment container of sauce. Then you have the workers who don’t speak English and act like they don’t want to be bothered when asking them questions (as a customer should). Yeah I miss the old days, Ezells has gone down hill. This was my side by the way and I got told the fries go off the side mind you I have never in my life got this small amount of fries as a side with a pound of tenders. I ended up buying another fry smh

I recently visited Ezell’s Famous Chicken and tried their spicy tenders (one pound), along with coleslaw and French fries. The tenders were perfectly seasoned, delivering a nice kick without overpowering the natural juiciness of the chicken. The crispy coating stayed crunchy even with the spice, which I appreciated, and each bite was packed with flavor. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, adding a refreshing contrast to the spicy tenders, and the French fries were hot and crispy—a classic side done right. The service was friendly and efficient, and I barely had to wait before my food was ready. Ezell’s delivers on taste, quality, and speed, making it a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal!

It’s good fried chicken, however kind of expensive though. They tried to skimp me out on my amount of Cajun fries, but after complaining. They doubled the amount of fries I had in my original order. They tried to sell me an EXTREMELY small amount of Cajun fries for $4.99 and hoped I would just grab my bag and walk away without checking. Glad, I checked my quantity of fries I got and complained. Ordered online and food was ready when expected. Store is quite small with no seating. Very limited standing room during high traffic times. Food was fresh and order was accurate. Staff were friendly.

Back in town and had to stop. This is my first go at this location and was 100% satisfied. The chicken taste great and their Cajun season on the fries are over the top. The employees are hard working unlike most of these eating places around here. I am from the South and totally approve my visit for taste and service will definitely be back.

UPDATE: I reached out as the owner requested in the comment below and never heard back from them! Clearly they just wrote that comment to make it look like they cared instead of actually caring! Also, everyone I've talked to has had bad experiences here! Initial Review: I was really disappointed by this ezells location. The portions were very small, ridiculously so considering the price and the food was very flavorless. The picture of the fries shows it all- it was a comically small side. Also the entire time I was ordering the cashier was listening to a Spanish soap opera while taking my order, which was very odd.

In the area for a wedding and Ezell's was close so we decided to try them because of the reviews. Frank helped us get the best meal for what we needed. The reviews are accurate, everything was absolutely delicious! Only in town for 5 days and will 100% be back!

Haven't had Ezell's in a long time, so had hubby pick some up for dinner. The original fried chicken tasted extra good, crispy, and juicy. Sadly, chicken livers seemed a bit dry, and the mashed potatoes had an off, smokey taste with an odd grainy texture. If I just had the chicken, I would've given 5 stars.

Ordered online. Food was ready upon pickup and staff were friendly and efficient. Limited space inside the store so it was quite crowded during dinner time. Food was fresh and delicious.

First time trying Ezell's chicken. I had a craving for fried chicken and used it as an excuse to come here. I ordered the three pieces and it came with two sides. I had the fries and Mac and cheese. I ordered the original recipe because I didn't know how spicy the spicy would be. It also came with a bun. Super light and fluffy and delicious. The chicken was super crunchy and not greasy at all. The original didn't have much flavor but was amazingly crunchy! Like super delicious crunch. Without being greasy. The white meat in the breast was slightly dry. Not much meat in the wing. The drumstick perfectly crunched and juicy. Great service. This location is very small. The parking lot fairly small in front but there is more parking over to the side. I would definitely eat here again. SYOY.

Came to update a previous review from last week but it's mysteriously gone! I wanted to say the chicken was solid (previously I said it was OK) and my wife said it was good. Very unfortunate that my order was incorrect missing my rolls for the price I paid 29 and some change for 1lb of spicy tenders with 2 sides while missing the rolls. It is what it is, customer service isn't what it was.

A total nightmare!!!!!! Our pick-up was wrong 3 times!!!!!!!!!! My only options given were come back or come back with physical card, horrible customer service!!!!! My son-in-law picked up the order for us since my husband just had total knee replacement...I could not leave him!!!! This customer service was terrible and also the fact that this is the third time our order was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great customer service, food served hot and fresh! The chicken is well seasoned and not greasy. The place is small with no seating-take out only.

I gave them another opportunity and had one pound of livers and three tenders. The livers I had half normal and the remaining half spicy. They are not that spicy and I can dig that. They were good but only three star good. KFC livers are GREAT! Those 11 herbs and spices say quite a lot. The tenders I got normal coating and they were good but not as good as Chick-Fil-A. Both, the livers and tenders were tasty and satisfying and would enjoy those items again.

I came by after getting my eyes checked next door. It's a small shop, order and go kind of place. The cashier was nice and patient while I was deciding what to get. I got a two piece half and half with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The chicken was great! Nice and juicy, and even the breast piece was tender. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the sides, they both had a different flavor than I was expecting (not bad, but not what I wanted I guess?). I really like their roll- reminds me of Hawaiian rolls. I'd come back! It does taste like based on the other reviews the place might not be too consistent, but my experience at least was pretty good. (I'd probably skip the sides, is all.)

Location - right by 90E exit, by the AMC theatre, plenty of parking space; quite a busy place at 530PM on the Saturday. Food - crispy, juicy dark meat pieces; spicy is not that spicy and better seasoned than the original; the batters aren't too thick and not fluffy enough when compared with the Korean fried chicken. The dark main piece is better than the drumsticks. Overall chicken is fine, not excellent yet. Love the to sides, especially the kernel corn, very sweet corn. Smashed potato wasn't savory enough. Service - very efficient between ordering and packaging. The team looks well and eager to move along the orders. Overall an economical comfort food meal for two, I will come back.

We walked in and they had plenty of chicken ready to serve. So we did get our order pretty fast. I went with a two-piece spicy chicken with mac & cheese and cajun fries and my man ordered 3-piece spicy chicken with crinkle fries. We also opted for 1/2lb of fried okra. First, I was really disappointed about the amount of fried okra for $6.99. It was a small container and if it was half a pound, then I guess. But this is way overpriced. I may be wrong, but the fried okra just feels like a normal frozen variety as are the crinkle fries. Definitely, get the crinkle fries with cajun seasoning because if not, your crinkles fries will lack everything - including salt. The mac and cheese - JUST NO. I took one bite and did not finish. Definitely cheesy but the flavor was just not there and would not recommend to my worst enemy. The chicken was fresh and pretty crispy. After reading other reviews - apparently, I should have ordered the gizzards but as much as I love gizzards, I was too scared I was going to be disappointed. I asked my man, if he wanted to go back any time soon and he said, "eh...maybe in like 12 months." I felt him on that. I don't see myself coming back to enjoy chicken here.

There's no canes in WA but this is definitely just as good. I just wish they had their own special sauce. The chicken is soooo good. Seasoned fries. Will be ordering again

Not all Ezell's are created equal. Since Ezell's Chicken franchised, some locations have been serving better quality fried chicken over others. This Factoria location is on the better side of my statement. We normally get gizzards here and they're always consistent. The half and half gizzards are perfectly chewy, well seasoned and not salty, and they seem to be prepared faster than other locations. A couple nights ago, I ordered the 8-piece dinner with Dark Meat only. For some reason, the thighs were so much better than it normally was at other locations. The skin was extra crispy and the meat was juicy. The only thing that wasn't in form were their crinkle fries. Like all locations, Ezell's crinkle fries are too soggy for me. I wish it had more snap to it Maybe it's because this Ezell's is a newer location, but I like coming here if I'm craving their fried chicken. I've recently been placing my order online and my food is always ready when I step in the door or I just have to wait less than 5 minutes. It's the spot for quick fried chicken for me.

We enjoyed another fantastic chicken dinner tonight, courtesy of the wonderful manager and her crew at Factoria! They're so friendly we leave the store smiling before we even get home for the chicken and sides. Mike

Ordered takeout 4pc meal, never tried them before. Got the spicy chicken, with mashed potatoes and potato salad. It was okay, the breast and leg were good, but the spicy chicken could've had more kick. I might order again, but would probably try something else first.

Spicy fried gizzards so good hot out of the fryer. I think these are always made to order and just so good if you eat the fresh in the parking lot (takeout restaurant only). Love the 2 rolls that comes with the 1lb version. OK I messed up my shirt when some of the oily crumbs fell on me while eating in the car, but that's on me. Next time I'm eating on the hood. If they had some outdoor seating, it would be even better!

The worst fried chicken I've ever eaten. Not crispy, no flavor, small, and expensive for what you get. Grocery store fried chicken is better. Will never go here again.

I remember Ezell's Famous Chicken being better. Not sure if it's because it's a new location or what, but I thought the food was A-OK when I visited this Ezell's location in Factoria. It's nice that the Factoria area does have an Ezell's, another casual dining option for those in the area, given I do errands around here at times. However, I've had a much better dining experience at Ezell's at its other locations. Located right off of Factoria Boulevard, the space is small, as it's simply a takeout-only spot. The line went by fast. I ordered the half-pound of spicy chicken tender lunch special, with mac and cheese as my choice of side and a roll. Chicken was mostly tender, yet there were parts that were a tad dry, like it was under the heat lamp for too long. A hint of spice was there, but not spicy at all. Portion was large. The mac and cheese was meh. I'd probably stick with mashed potatoes and gravy for next time, as the mac and cheese was lukewarm. Roll was solid. For about 10 bucks, it's not a bad lunch and was filling. However, the star of the show, the fried chicken was just fine. Nothing special. I've had better luck at other locations, so I know the food can be better here. Until then, it's A-OK.

Located in a small plaza near the movie theater, parking available - a couple entrances to enter. I've only ever visited one other location of this chain but I'm not too particular when it comes to fried chicken. We visited at opening hours, there is one way in and one way out, staff was quite friendly - there were 4 to 5 people working. Two of us ordered the 1 lb spicy tender combo so we could have a little of everything - 2 rolls, 2 sides (Mac & cheese ++ mashed potatoes and gravy), and two sauces (spicy and ranch). This was plenty of food for us both and sent me into a food coma from all of the carbs. Our meal tasted decent even after a ride in the car. Chicken was crispy and not dry, rolls light and fluffy, sides were mediocre, and sauces weren't stand out. Flavors were standard and what you would expect from fried chicken, rolls, Mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes. The spicy coasting wasn't all that spicy to us on the chicken. Unfortunately after we finished, I wasn't craving more and don't think I'd be anytime soon. It was good but not great.

If you want to avoid at home the heavy smell of fried food and if you crave for good fried chicken, Ezell's Famous Chicken is the place you are looking for. Clean, tasty, great sides including and amazing fried okra. Busy before dinner hours, but always boiling hot and crispy. Small store and no tables to eat on site. Go and enjoy!

Good food, easy to park. Over priced for the service, experience and portion of the sides. No tables were clean when we got there even though it was the middle of the afternoon.

Good food fast not fast food and the manager is so nice and courteous and helpful is that energy

Food is waaay over priced. Chicken was ok unfortunately for the prices I wouldn't be visiting this place again wish they could make it more flavorful and bring the price down . The potatoe salad and mashed potatoes were very good . Staff wasn't as friendly as soon as I came in to pick up my order they didn't greet me at all. They restaurant is kept clean so I give them that but staff needs to be more welcoming

Three stars for the packaging. They really need to find a better container for the fried chicken and the fried gizzards. My food got home with container almost disintegrated Four stars for the fried chicken and gizzards Oh next time please don't leave the pen in my ToGo order it colored and bleed right through the food container

the food is good . the rude behavior is concerning. I was in line waiting behind a family . A person decided to come in the opposite door where I was already standing your store clerk went right to help that person . the clerk completely actnores the fact I was already waiting. please remember that people come to business to be treated with respect. if you can see with your eyes than you clearly know that you have clients in line& your attention should be on who was in the line not who just walks in. thanks.

Amazingly crispy! I got the lunch special, 3 tenders + 1 roll + 1 side (I got the corn) for ~$11. Chicken was crispy, not greasy, and a great crunch. The roll was incredible. Chicken: What stood out to me was the quality of the chicken. Tastes wholesome and fresh, almost like farm to table places I've been to. I will say, the breading isn't exploding with flavor or anything. If you are looking for flavor, you may have to rely more on sauce. However, as someone who really dislikes food that overly relies on salt, I was very relieved that it was not salty. Next time, I'll probably get the spicy since I'd like some more flavor. Roll: Honestly, probably my favorite part of the meal. Light and fluffy inside, great subtle buttery sweet flavor but not in a heavy way. Such a delight to eat. Side (corn): it was good, a bit saltier than I'd like it but it seems to recipe. Kinda balanced out with the chicken anyway. Generous helping. Still satisfied overall. Place: clean with clear COVID protocols. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations since this was my first time. It is small, so I can see how it could get busy during rush hours (I went when it was less busy, Saturday morning) but I think it's worth it, especially for the price.

I order cajun fries,got charged for it but when I got home I didn't get my fries . I called to complain and the manager said come in and he will give me a 2 peice combo on the house. So I decided to come today,and the lady helped me she said sorry I don't see ur name on the list. I'm definitely calling tomorrow

It's okay. I had a two piece combo. One was very good, crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Unfortunately, the other piecewas dried out like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. I came here before the lunch rush and there was a lot of chicken sitting under the heat lamp. I think my dried out piece was leftover from another shift or they pre-fried in anticipation of the lunch rush and it got dried out. Either way, it's a worrisome sign.

Checked out this new Ezell's location and food was great like the other Ezell I have tried. New staff members are friendly but check your food before you leave. They missed my blue cheese dipping sauce for my Buffalo tenders. The amount of sauce was perfect not overwhelming, just enough to keep the crunch. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy enough maybe it is just me but the chicken was still very tasty. The sides of coleslaw and baked beans were fresh and tasty too. Would return.

Ezell was really good but today I opted for delivery instead of picking it up and the rolls are..weird..as if someone bit them..

This is the second times with Ezell's, previously I got from central district. Today I had spicy and original fried chickens with Mac & cheese and mash potatoes with gravy. Spicy chicken was ok but original had no seasoning/taste. Too much breading. But the bread was really good!

We love the food and staff is always helpful. The problem was that 2-lb. spicy tenders combo was left off our order. I called in and was told that my name and number would be entered into a book and I could come in anytime to pick up the missing order. I was disappointed to find that my name and number were not in the book and I paid for, but didn't receive my food.

Great fried chicken, good bread rolls, yummy BBQ sauce, and I personally really like their mac & cheese. Would gladly eat here over KFC. Only taking away 1 star because this location doesn't have tables to sit down (although that hasn't been an issue during the pandemic...) Great takeout option!

Ezelle's is always a treat. I've always gone to the Wallingford location where the food is always fresh. Unfortunately, this place was far from fresh. The food is pre-made and just sits under a warmer. If they ran out of the specific type of meat you order, they will not make fresh ones but substitute with a random one that is already sitting in the warmer. The fries were soggy and not edible. The mac and cheese had a weird sweetness to it; almost like cake batter mixed in. I had never tasted anything like that before - this is not the norm, after ordering this many times at other locations. I'm not sure if it's previously frozen but It felt like there was the "freezer" taste as well- it was just overall wrong.

I don't know how you have no chicken available at the 6pm hour at a chicken joint, but they did it! This was my first time here and it appears it does not seem worth returning. Can't comment on the quality of the chicken since they didn't have any.

Not the same Ezell's I know. Breading is so hard and thick that my 4yo has a hard time biting into the chicken. Meat is dry! Save your money and just go to Safeway a few blocks away.

First timer, was craving gizzards and was very disappointed in the fry. They were limp and the batter was wet. Not impressed at all.

Made my weekly visit to this location Friday night. They weren't overly busy, and all but one of the employees were in the cook area talking, and one on there phone. I observed them taking chicken tenders out of the holding tray, and snacking on them. Then I observed the young man that was there reach in with his bare unwashed hand, and break off the end of a strip and start eating it! Come on guys, you can do better. On another note. The steam from the chicken created so much moisture that it softened the normally crunchy breading, and made the rolls inedible! Please speak to your employees regarding hygiene, and cross contamination!

If you're thinking of enjoying some delicious Ezels Chicken DO NOT come to Factoria. The manager is rude and wouldn't replace my nasty old chicken. Save you're money and go to McDonald's. Much better quality than this specific Ezells.

Not good. Got original chicken and chicken strips. The chicken lacked flavor, and was very dry. I have enjoyed Seattle ezells and usually get spicy but this time I tried original. If I try this place again I'm definitely going spicy but will not be back soon that's for sure. Qfc fried chicken is better. I'm not sure what's going wrong at this location. Please improve this problem and I will try again.

The batter was crispy but the seasoning was very mild. Also got some chicken gizzards. Gizzards were hard too hard! A bit pricey for fried chicken. The best part thou was the biscuit, much better than kfc!

Not as good as other locations for some reason. Also double check the bag they left a few items out of my order (also my fault for not looking).

Worst Ezell's chicken! The chicken was left over, which they re deep fried again. No taste and very very dark color. I made online order and it was a mistake. I do not recommend this store.

I just got home after picking up my order from Ezell's. I ordered one pound of chicken gizzards and one pound of chicken livers. When I tried some of the order at home I found they had given me two orders of chicken livers. One container was labeled chicken livers and one was labeled chicken gizzards so the order was passed from the counter to the kitchen correctly. This is the second time I've had Ezell's screw up this kind of order. Apparently Ezell's employees cannot tell the difference between a chicken liver and a chicken gizzard (hopefully they know the other parts of the chicken better). I could return to the store and get a replacement order but it's rush hour and I don't want to spend half an hour to drive there, wait for them to prepare the order, and then spend another half hour driving home. Who knows how long I'd have to wait for them to get the order right. I might have to wait a while they make multiple attempts to actually prepare chicken gizzards. They might come out with chicken wings or breasts or all rolls or some other mystery food. I don't trust them to get any order right after this. On top of that, the rolls in my order were not baked sufficiently. The consistency of the rolls was doughy. I would suggest that you check any takeout order before leaving their business. I should know better by now and do this all of the time but sometimes I'm in hurry to get home, relax, and eat something. This isn't something they did wrong but "spicy" at Ezell's is not very spicy, at least not to me, but I'm used to eating spicy food. If you're used to eating spicy food and want your chicken truly spicy, you should forget finding it at Ezell's. Two stars because the livers were OK.

We picked up the 1lb. spicy chicken strip combo with potato salad (creamy kind) and baked beans. Everything was delicious! The breading was perfectly crispy and not greasy, and the meat was sufficiently moist for breast meat. Service was gracious and efficient. So happy to have an Ezell's in the neighborhood!

Chicken 10/10 Sides 10/10 Customer service (specifically management) 5/10 I ordered and paid for my meal online. When it was picked up by my brother in-law, he was charged again. No big deal these things happen. I called to get one card refunded and wasn't happy with the response from the GM. Initially, he said that he needed to "send it to corporate for investigation." I told him this want necessary, to please look at the online order with my card charged and then find the POS charge on my brother in-laws card, if both have a paid transaction, to refund one of them. He said this makes sense and would send a text by the end of the day with proof of the refund. Well this didn't happen. I waited 3 days to see if I would just be refunded and it never happened. I called back and the GM didn't want to talk to me so his assistant helped me. I provided him with the information to find both charges and he refunded one. Pretty simple and not sure why it required so much effort to get a refund for a double charge. All in all, food was great and everything was sorted out, but not the best experience.

Maybe the fact that I went an hour before closing had to do with it even though they were still pretty busy.... The driest crappiest 2 pieces of chicken breast I've ever had. Pretty Inedible. I can't believe I'm saying this but I should've gone to KFC. When I saw that this location was opening up I was so excited but wow that was terrible. I might give one more chance during the day to see if the food tastes different but even so there should be consistency. What a shame.

I'm leaving a one star to affect the average rating because i know what good Ezell's can be. The chicken from the Ezells factoria location is very underwhelming compared to other nearby locations i've eaten at for the last 5+ years. If you've never had Ezell's you would likely be satisfied with your meal, but I was not. I suggest communicating with the other locations to discover the differences in the final product that is produced.
