Lively little spot with delicious food and fantastic service. The staff were very attentive and polite. We ordered the $73pp set menu and were very impressed by the quality and portions. We especially liked the hummus. We have just one small suggestion for the owners. Both of the main dishes in the set menu (the spatchcock and the roasted cauliflower) were quite sweet, which made them a little overwhelming when served together. If one of these dishes had a slightly different flavour profile we think it would have elevated the dining experience even more! Overall, we had a lovely time at Ezra and highly recommend visiting.

A delightful modern Middle Eastern restaurant we visited during our trip to Sydney. The food was vibrant and full of flavour, the desserts were absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We especially enjoyed chatting with the friendly manager from Köln, who added a personal touch to the evening. A wonderful way to spend our last night in Sydney.

Myself & my partner went to Ezra on Saturday for dinner & absolutely LOVED it! The food, the people, the ambiance, there is nothing we could fault! The blue fin tuna was a standout for me and no detail of the venue was overlooked. Thank you to everyone who looked after us so well, you are the best! 🥰

I was really looking forward to dining here after hearing such great things, especially because of the mostly gluten-free menu. Ideal for celebrating a coeliac friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The portion sizes were shocking for the price. $28 for a plate of heirloom tomatoes and stracciatella felt steep for what we received. The cauliflower dish was also underwhelming, it was bland and lacking in flavour. The sticky date pudding and the cardamom yogurt were great but didn’t redeem the meal. While I could understand paying premium prices for amazing atmosphere or great flavours, neither were memorable. Disappointing overall, especially given the great reviews and high prices.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The muhammara and ikra dips were absolutely amazing and the lamb shoulder was so tender and silky! The dishes packed so much flavour and we kept going back for more even though we were so full! The customer service was above par, we had the waiter explain the menu to us in detail and give us some lovely recommendations as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!!!

My partner and I went here with another couple. None of us had been here before and we were visiting from regional NSW. The service, food and atmosphere was top notch. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and attentive without being over the top. We had a pino grigo to drink with some small plates we shared. The textures and flavours of the food were divine and it was a feast to the eyes. I'd highly recommend Ezra, and I already have to friends in Newcastle. I'm looking forward to returning.

Ok. It was one of those magic early autumn days, sunshine and a cool gentle breeze. Which made our long lunch so much more amazing. Started with some drinks, cocktails. Delicious. Chose to go with set menu but we didn't like the dessert option (sticky date pud). The staff were happy to accommodate and we swapped to the gorgeous baklava ice cream thing (drool worthy, and I'm not a sweet tooth, which we matched with a shot of Cointreau with some soda over ice, perfection). Anyway. The food was gorgeous and delicious. The wine list is small but sufficient with some great options. The two servers we had were absolutely lovely and accommodated requests without batting an eyelid. Plus, funny which is always a nice bonus. The setting was lovely. Would I come back? Definitely will be back. A delightful discovery. Visited 5/04/25 for 2pax.

Venue has great ambiance, quite welcoming and cozy. Food was great, we ordered a variety of the share plates and it was wholesome. I’d say the menu is well priced for what they offer and the portion sizes are decent. Service - was underwhelmed with the service to be honest, which damped the our overall dining experience. It was not a busy night, though we had to keep asking / following up on our orders. We ordered a bottle of wine, our food came out and still no wine. When we asked there seemed to be confusion (clearly our order was not put through)… only to be told 10 mins later, that bottle was sold out. Understand these things happen, though it would’ve been nice if we had been told earlier rather than having to follow up. Our waitstaff didn’t even ask if we’d like dessert. Missed opportunity if I must say. We at the end had to ask for the dessert menu - no meal is ever complete without dessert. Would I give them another go, perhaps, in hope of more friendlier and attentive service.
