I took my two boys to the new F1 Race Center in Philadelphia and we had a great experience. The facility is really nice, very clean, and well maintained. The staff are attentive and quick to help if you run into any technical issues.
One thing to note: when setting up your account before playing, you only have about two minutes before the racing tutorial starts. If you want your account to reflect your name and track your progress and points, you need to move fast. My two sons didn’t have phones with them, so I had to log in and out to set each of us up, which was a bit time consuming. It’s not required to make accounts, but I thought it was worth it for the fun of tracking scores and progress.
The racing itself was enjoyable but definitely challenging. My youngest had some difficulty reaching the pedals, which made it tough for him. We chose the 5 race pack for three people, which took us just under an hour. It was fun, engaging, and a good challenge for all of us.
That said, it is a little pricey for a family outing, just over $100 for three of us, and that was without buying any food or snacks. My boys were also a little discouraged since even the beginner level is harder than it looks, but overall we’d go back again. Great facility and a unique experience for families who enjoy racing games.
