I have been a member of F45 Changi for the past year. On January 1, 2025, I purchased their 20-class pack. Unfortunately, later that month, I was made redundant, which meant I was only able to use nine of those classes. I requested to "downgrade" my membership to a 10-class pack, as it no longer makes sense for me to stay in the area without work. Additionally, I planned to be out of the country for the next few months to care for my aging parents.
I was surprised and disappointed by their lack of empathy toward my situation. They informed me that they do not offer refunds and ignored my follow-up message seeking their understanding given the unforeseen circumstances. It's disheartening, as my experiences with them had been positive until now. I wish I didn't have to resort to this, as I would love to continue working out there if my situation were different.
Below is my response to the owner's response:
It’s disappointing that I had to turn to this review page to get a response after being ignored for nearly a week. I purchased the 20-class pack for $600 on January 1st but was only able to use 9 of the classes. It was NOT promo price, as the promo is to get 20 additional classes by paying the regular 20-class pack price. I appreciated the generous promo but would have gone ahead with or without it. To be clear, I’m not requesting an extension of the promotion, as it no longer applies given my situation, and I’m willing to pay the regular price.
However, I had mentioned in my message that I have no one to transfer the class pack to and I simply ask that you consider refunding $250, allowing me to pay the standard $350 for a 10-class pack. I believe this is a fair request and fail to see how it would negatively impact your business.
