San Francisco’s Iconic Liguria Bakery in North Beach Is Reopen - Eater SF

"Faces is a popular and long-running LGBTQ-friendly nightclub in Sacramento. Its owner, Terry Sidie, has purchased two properties in the area: the former Distillery bar space at 107 L Street and a neighboring two-story building at 2101 L Street. He plans to combine the two properties and is looking for someone to operate the restaurant and event space." - Lauren Saria

I really want to love this place, and I do when security is reasonable, but there is one lady who is horrible. I felt like I was judged instantly and told I wasn't allowed in because I had Lactaid pills on me. I cannot have dairy, and they were making free burgers so I brought lactaid in mind of having cheese on my burger. She said I wasn't allowed in with them and I understood. I asked her if there was somewhere I could throw them away so I could come inside but she said I wasn't allowed in at all. She was disrespectful and couldn't even look me in the eye... This place is wonderful but some of the security has really ruined Faces

Google
Long review about a bouncer to avoid and my experiences with her. Want to report on a repeated situation with a bouncer. She was there, June 19 around midnight, shorter blonde woman. My first interaction with her I had pepper spray in my purse, looking at the rules I understand this isn’t allowed in the club but I offered to throw it away or put it in my car and she repeatedly told me I still wasn’t allowed in that night AT ALL. For being a safe space, as a LGBTQ bar, as a woman I don’t feel comfortable around downtown without having protection. I understand not bringing it in but her attitude was deplorable. I would’ve thrown it away or put it in my car as other bars have let me do but she was adamant that I wasn’t allowed in that night. I urge for there to be an option to either put things in our cars or offer a locker to keep belongings in. Furthermore, on two separate occasions I have had friends with vapes, I do think they have THC which also I believe isn’t permitted inside but both times they offered to put their devices in their cars or throw them away and she fully turned us away. I want there to be options to throw away or put our devices in our cars and still enter the bar, faces is one of my favorite places to go but this is leaving a bad taste. Across the street on the other hand, badlands is extremely accommodating. I came in with medication for UTIs and yeast infection pills in a ziplock bag which does look suspicious(I forgot I left them in my purse lol that’s on me). Despite that, the security were willing to let me explain what it was and I offered to throw them away but they graciously let me keep them at the front desk while I was in the bar. I really hope that this bouncer at faces can learn to be accommodating, empathetic and change her attitude.

Google
Faces Nightclub has good music and a lively atmosphere, but my recent visit left a lot to be desired. Many of the bathrooms were broken, which made the lines for the few working ones extremely long. To make things worse, they wouldn’t even allow people to go across the street to use other restrooms and come back in without paying the cover charge again — which feels pretty unreasonable when the club’s own facilities aren’t working.

Google
I hadn't been to faces in a while and my friends wanted to go, so I went with them. Man, this place has gone downhill. The place was packed, which is to be expected. It's always had a bit of a bad vibe that makes you feel unsafe, but tonight it was the security that sent it over the years edge. The security staff is just so creepy now. My friends were drinking, but I was not. I don't drink when I go to these places, which makes me the permanent designated driver. So I was stone sober. I noticed a lot of people vaping and was surprised it was allowed, but I didn't complain. I took a few quick puffs off a small e cigarette with nicotine (I also don't smoke pot or any sort of drug). That is when a young man with longer hair and a top-knot in a white pullover pushed past me quickly. He stopped, leaned over placing his head near my pants pocket. I was confused and completely creeped out. He then pointed to me and said "it's him." I had no idea this moron worked for the club. Finally a uniformed security person arrived and told me there was no smoking. I apologized, and before I could explain myself the young man announced "it's pot." I assured the uniformed security guard it was definitely not that. The younger man scoffed, rolled his eyes, and gave me such rude and dirty looks before he stormed off. I still had no idea this guy even worked there until I saw him at the door ushering people out at the end of the night. There was no need to be that handsy, rude, or unprofessional over a simple mistake. This club seriously needs to take a good long look at who they are hiring to do these jobs. Your club is creepy enough as it is without these young children running around without anything identifying them as security staff harassing and accusing your customers. Disappointing.

Google
Great club and Great atmosphere. Tall red head security guard helped me to my car after I threw up on a sleeping homeless persons luggage the security guard was so handsome and sweet. I will return on conga night by the pool!

Google
Absolutely disgusting behavior from clearly pilled-out security who are attempting to instigate drama with random people leaving for their own amusement. Nobody sober pays them attention even when they try to instigate issues with random people going about their night. Will be contacting the local news and already filed BBB report. Security clearly isn’t tested for substances as they shouldn’t even be trusted to guard a Walmart parking lot; it’s totally pathetic and gross.

Google
I've been coming here for over 10 years & never had a problem even working as a vendor. Tonight a lady security guard went thru my purse & I said I have my pain meds in there & she said I had to have my prescription bottle with me, I offered to show her my current prescription on the sutter app & walgreens app which she said no, I told her I'm not comfortable bringing 120 controlled substance pills anywhere & I offered to throw them out, she said I wasn't allowed to come in no matter what I did even with my handicap placard in hand since I'm permanently disabled..this is excessive & discriminating. Safety should be #1, i can only imagine if I pulled out my bottle in front of that line...maybe think about that.

Google
Really? I can't wear a silk scarf? But baseball caps and beanies are ok. Silk, floral scarves are considered gang related or whatever durag/bandanas lol. That's insanity. Also, $20 cover is way too much.

Yelp
Had a great time at Faces Nightclub. What I like about this club is the layout; they have 2 floors and several dancefloors/dance rooms for different genres of music like Hip Hop, Latin, etc. It's fun to dance in one room, then move to the next. Each room has at least one bar, so you don't have to wait long for drinks. They even have an outside area with a pool out back you can get in on Saturdays. Downsides are the $20 cover charge and no in/out privileges after midnight. Another downside is Sac nightlife ends earlier than other cities, so they start closing up at 1:45 am. Still one of my favorite spots with dope people. Plus, there are bacon wrapped hotdog stands outside to get a quick bite to eat, so that adds to the 5 star rating.

Yelp
I am a regular here especially for Sunday and Tuesday night karaoke. I have not only been a regular but I have invited friends and helped build a regular-ish crowd around d Tuesday karaoke. The problem: tonight, just about 50 minutes ago, I was booted out by security because I "seemed overly intoxicated on the cameras"... what was i doing? I was sitting on available leather seating and thinking while waiting for my next karaoke song. I dont know if I will return now. That's never happened to me before especially because I rarely over drink. Dont sit and think here even on a slow business night or you will get kicked out for no reason.

Yelp
ID LIKE TO SAY SHOUT OUT TO URIEL JR, the security guard for go in g above and beyond making sure me and my girls were safe after the club thank you love!!

Yelp
Nah just lot let you know this lame ass club won't let you in if your a FEMALE and have pepper spray to protect yourself in this day in age. Keep it mind this is my friends first time here so why not just let us know. It's not a damn gun so chill and save your money. Badlands is free cover across the street before 9:30 and half the time it's a better vibe and more affordable! Drinks cheaper too!!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful bar. Great staff. Fun bar. But a $20 cover? I get paying for security, bills, etc. but this isn't Vegas. 5 of us that were going to come in tonight and spend good money on drinks unfortunately changed our mind after we saw the $20 cover. Just something to think about for future possible patrons. Probably lost about $350 in drink revenue due to cover charges. Beautiful bar tho! Nothing but compliments, other than the cover.

Yelp
I LOVE Faces!! Anytime I feel like dancing, it's my go to place! What I love about it is the three separate dance rooms. When you want a change in music just head to another room. I feel safe and secure here too! Security guards are always around watching to make sure everything is ok. Bartenders are always friendly and make delicious drinks!!

Yelp
Visited Faces on a Thursday night with a couple of friends. I was a little worried after reading recent Yelp reviews about security since I lost my ID and was showing up with my passport hoping for entry. I was immediately greeted by friendly security and when I asked if I could use my passport was told it was no issue at all. Security checked my purse and then I went inside to show my ID. The man doing ID checks was also friendly and we joked around about me having to carry my passport since I lost my ID. The bar was pretty quiet when we arrived and we chose the first bar to get our first drinks. The bartender was SUPER nice and asked us if we were going to sing karaoke. He went on to tell us what songs he would be singing. It was just a fun experience. Drink prices were a little higher than what I'm used to in a smaller city, but wasn't any higher than the others on the block. After sitting out front on the small patio and enjoying our drinks, we went into the main bar area where they were having karaoke. There is another bar in there and a large area to sit as well as couches on the side. It was easy to sign up for a song to sing on the app and it had a feature where we could see who was up so we didn't have to stay there and pay attention while we waited for our turn. We ended up going in the next room for a bit where there was a DJ and dancing. It was loud but so much fun with the higher energy environment. Out back was quiet and there is a pool there. Someone said they have swimming some nights but apparently not that night. We ended up having a great time singing and came and went a few times with no issues. It got super busy as the night went and the staff continued to be friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend Ryan had an amazing time! Love you Ryan! Thank you for all that you do for me!

Yelp
Best club in sac! Each room has a different type of music which is so nice if you get bored of a song. So many bars to choose from and a chiller area to hang out upstairs. They also have an outdoor area with a pool to get some fresh air. Bar tenders are usually really cool and fun. 4 stars because the security can be very rude sometimes.

Yelp
As an out of town/ first-time guest, night was ruined within 30mins from being here, due to the complete lack of common sense within the customer service / security department. Got kicked out just for going to the restroom and communicating to the aggressive big back security. he didn't wanted to listen, claiming I was giving the "attitude". Asked to speak to the head of security, she didn't care to hear me out about the situation all she could do is "take my customers complaint". After paying $40 dollars for my girl and I to get in just to be kicked out in 30min I've asked for a refund. Got denied due to "not knowing how long I was inside for". First of all, they scan your ID with your photo into the system, it tells you the time you get in. Second, you can easy check the cameras to see the time frame. In conclusion, the security was on a HUGE power trip that doesn't want to admit he's in the wrong and the head of second needs to work better at customer service.

Yelp
Love that there's multiple music areas with different genres for different vibes. Entry & food is kinda pricey l though. One thing I didn't like was that the bathrooms were gender neutral, and sometimes guys would be in there with us. I get that it's to make everyone inclusive, but sometimes there's creepers and that's one downside about that. Overall a good place to vibe & dance!

Yelp
I'm old AF now but 10 years ago, Faces was the spot to go. I was easily here almost every weekend and really enjoyed it, hardly ever any issues. Fast forward to this year when we finally came back and it's changed. Before, it was free to get in before 10pm and after the cover charge was $10-15....now it's $20 no matter the time. Security at the doors are quite rude as lots of others mentioned. Inside they switched up some rooms. The low key bar at the front has been flipped around so the bar is on the other side of the room and they now play it's own style of music. The taco lady is no longer on the patio but the outside streets are lined with hotdog vendors. Only downside to this is they don't offer in & out privileges so if you go outside to get a hotdog, you gotta pay to get back in. The perk of the taco lady is that she was inside Faces. The Hip hop room is the same, the room that used to be Spanish flipped with the pop/techno room. Drinks seemed to still be reasonably priced but also depended on which bartender you got. I was charged $7 by one person then $10 by another for the same drink. I do feel they offer more seating which is a plus! Overall we enjoyed ourselves and it reminded us of our younger years lol. We do enjoy the Spanish dedicated room and is what we mostly come for and will continue to come back.

Marie S.

Yelp
My friend and I were waiting for a Lyft or Uber home in the pool area. The security manhandled us and abused us out the club, we were peacefully waiting and they physically and violently threw us out while waiting for our Uber at the door poolside.

Brooke O.

Yelp
I've been sober for 9 years, yet I got kicked out for being "too drunk." Security doesn't like it if you talk by the kitchen apparently even though there's no sign saying you can't be there. I tried to advocate for myself in a polite manner and the entrance lady was really rude, didn't want to hear me out at all, and told me if I kept talking to her I'd be kicked out from all clubs forever. All in all, security is on some kind of power trip.

Yelp
Definitely the worse place to drink, dance safely. You absolutely got no support from the staff. Bald Mexican bartender over charged and when we noticed he argued and treated us very disrespectfully saying he asked us for doubles when he didn't. When I asked a question he threatened us saying he was calling security to kick us. I personally don't agree with the way the handle confrontation because they always assume we are wrong and treat people like crap. Same boring shows, same negative employees and customers. Definitely not going back there. The only good bartender is Norma.

Michael M.

Yelp
Kicked out because tripped over another person and perceived as too drunk. Will not be coming back

Yelp
The different rooms is what I really enjoyed about going here. The drag show was amazing, the music is pretty good. The only thing that I didn't like was the rude female security guard she was rude to me and my friends for no reason.
google avatar

Savannah R.

Yelp
Not a huge fan of this club. The music was decent. However, I do not like how this club doesn't offer free water. The drinks are expensive as is. I ordered the Pink Starburst drink and it was $17, including the tip. The least you can do is offer free water, like at most clubs.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Ok this room is the vibe for Saturday nights out there's multiple rooms all with different music and vibes for you to choose , they have a bar in every corner an outside area . There is a fee to get in , but that's the same for most clubs in the area . The staff for the most part was really nice , security was very patient .

Adrian 4.

Yelp
Watch out for Kyle the bartender. He serves you whatever he wants. I asked for a single drink & he poured me a double because he thought he knew me form last time..... I've never been here before. Then he refused to fix my drink order and kept the charge the same. I insisted on him fixing it because I wasn't drinking all that but he refused. Not the service I'd expect from a bartender.

Yelp
Worst business I've ever come across. Initially tried to get in contact with them in January for a VIP table for my birthday on Feb 26. Put in VIP service request. Never heard back. Put in a Contact US request. Never heard back. Called. Their listed number is out of service. Messaged through Instagram. Never heard back. Messaged through Facebook. Never heard back. Showed up in person once. WAS TURNED AWAY AND WAS TOLD TO COME BACK AT 8. Came back at 8. The manager would only speak to me through a busy bartender playing telephone. Once again took my info; name, phone number, email, number of people in party. This time, they gave me an email to message: Jeff@faces.net. Never heard back. Had a friend who personally knows the manager speak with him multiple times. Guess what happens next. Really. Guess. NEVER HEARD BACK.
google avatar

Maleselino S.

Yelp
Don't go here. I tipped the bartender in cash and he had the nerve to tip himself an additional $10 on top of my $10 tab by writing it on the receipt. Totaling $20. American Express confirmed that the bartender indeed wrote himself the tip. The bartender (white male, 20-30s, about 6ft, techno bottom floor) didn't even hand me my receipt and I didn't think much of it until i saw my transactions post two days later. I was there on 2/19/22 Saturday, please hold your bartenders accountable Faces. Tried getting ahold of the place by text, call, and email. No response, and it has been 10 days. This is low and isn't right. If you go here and use card. Check your transactions, and ask for a receipt.

Yelp
Haha, oh to write another bad review/update about Faces. Honestly this 2nd incident made our night because it's so full of BS and hilarious. My friend, my boyfriend and I decided to go club hopping around downtown Sac. My friend and I were able to get through security and pay the $20 cover charge. However, once they scanned my boyfriend's ID, they said they couldn't let him in because he had a TEN YEAR BAN from the club. LOL WHAT??? It's so hilarious because it's ridiculous, that from the last time in October 2021 Faces kicked us out because a security thought I was being too "drunk" while waiting in line sober, patiently and quietly for the restroom. We also think she was profiling us because we both look Asian, even though my boyfriend is Latino. From my previous review, a Latina female security guard had an attitude with me and my boyfriend because she thought I was intoxicated in line when I just needed to go pee and I was sober. She got hostile and my boyfriend was protecting me because she grabbed my wrist hard when they were kicking us out. After reading reviews here and having people leave Yelp compliments for my last review, it seems like a common occurrence for sober POC people to get profiled by the power tripped security/cop rejects and get kicked out. They're aggressive for no reason. And it still happens to this day. It's funny how he got banned, but I didn't. Sexism much? We think it's because either sexism, they looked his picture after the incident, or because he left a bad review. Faces, if you're reading this, you might as well ban me too because your security is so terrible identifying actual intoxicated people and looking out for its clients. Haha. Such a terrible establishment. Luckily, since my friend and I paid our cover charge, and when we found out my boyfriend couldn't enter, they gave us our $20 refund back. So I'll give them that. Seriously Faces, learn to hire security that aren't cop rejects or know how to do their job.
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
The music was really fun & the staff was nice. However, I saw 3 men in there who were plastered and one tried to touch me. I hope the bartenders are cutting people off when they are noticeably too drunk. Other than that the place was beautiful.

Yelp
I had a really fun time but found the biggest problem and literally almost had to fight someone in the bathroom with no pants on. The downstairs bathrooms are for one person and have NO lock on the door so anyone can walk in. I walked in and then flagged my boyfriend down telling him he'd have to wait outside the door so someone wouldn't barge in on me since the bathroom was 1 person only and had no locks at all. He stood outside when a very intoxicated girl started pushing through the line and he I formed her and her friends there was someone in there and there was no lock on the doors for whatever reason. She started screaming at him and pushed him out of the way, and I truly respect his restraint because he's not a very calm cool collected human being and even he said after he almost grabbed her by the hair and had to stop himself. She rushed in with my pants down and I shoved my hand in her chest and had to tell her to get out (with some more few choice words) and then all of her friends ran in chasing her with wide eyes terrified saying sorry and they had her. This shouldn't have been an issue in the first place if the restroom had a lock on the door? Not only is this so strange and bizarre, this is scary. Anyone can walk in on you, and try to hurt or sexually assault you in a place of vulnerability. I had someone waiting out side the door and it still happened and that should have never happened. The water in the restroom also didn't work. So no clean hands. That's a serious problem for safety and health. It made me so uneasy and violated. And was not a good experience to almost have to catch a charge for just wanting to take a quick pee and have to start fighting in a bathroom with no pants. Seriously a not cool situation. For $40 a couple I'd expect to at least get to take a quick pee without several strangers seeing my panini and peach. Very odd. Boyfriend was in line for the men's bathroom about an hour later and said as he was in line security walked by him and aggressively kicked the door down in proper swat style and then just walked out. The bathrooms also have swinging doors btw. That could have easily injured someone BADLY or knocked them out. Your bathroom situation is a huge lawsuit waiting to happen for MANY reasons. I was told by a stranger / local who recommended me go to faces instead of mangos next door because it was safer and funner. It did not feel safer with a bathroom situation like this, even from an employee standpoint barging doors down. Someone's going to get really hurt here by others or your own employees. Embarrassed. Beat up. Sexually assaulted. Or killed. If they haven't already And if the water doesn't work people can't wash their hands, hundreds of people who can't wash their hands using the restrooms? Including employees. Gross. I've been to third world countries and never seen anything like this. Buy some locks.

Yelp
Came here for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday and admission and rules were all super easy to understand and well presented. The three different rooms of music to enjoy were well done and fun! The presence of multiple security persons and employees was comforting and allowed my group to have a good time. I will say I am missing 1 star because the state of the bathrooms was pretty bad, even though it is to be expected for them to not be the cleanest, one bathroom in particular downstairs smelled rancid. I don't think I will come back, but I am glad I got to experience such a fun & unique place! Thanks, Faces!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the worst staff ever they have no respect for lgbt+ or anyone period. The staff was so rude to me and treated me like if I was a criminal. They completely judged me for having a legal cannabis pen. They told me to stop talking and that I'm not allowed into the establishment for the night. I asked for the managers and staffs name in which they said I couldn't have it. I was just so upset because I've been a customer of faces since 2010. It's ridiculous that they make people feel inferior and that they feel they can talk to people like the garbage in the gutter. I hope something is done about the way they run the establishment and the way they treat the community whether it be LBGT+ or just humans in general. I will also escalate this to theBBB also they are very strict on legal cannabis but everytime I'm in the bathroom there's hella people doing cocaine .
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
The security guard was rude to everyone in line. Did not go in. Will not come back. Read the other reviews before considering stepping foot inside.

Karen K.

Yelp
I would give 0 stars if I could. Female security guard on Saturday (6/09) racially profiled my friends, let me in with marijuana and wax pens but told my friend she could not get in because she was "intoxicated" although we had been in line for 45mins and completely sober. Told us our entire group had to leave, but then continued to hug girls behind us and let them in without checking them at all. (They were visibly intoxicated) Seems like a very exclusive, we're only nice if we know you, environment.

Michael C.

Yelp
I was dancing with my friends eating for a drink with them and then security guard weird afffff , kicked me out for no reason and touched me and then someone else came and said don't touch her but no one even touched her. idk this town is going to crap bro .

Yelp
Such a fun place to go to on a night out! Kinda expensive to get in ($20) but maybe that's just because it was a Saturday. We went with a group of friends and some of them had been here before. They knew the best spots. This place is HUGE! Multiple dance floors, bars, and places to hang out. We learned that the bar upstairs is a LOT less crowded and you can get a drink pretty fast. The music was great and we had such a fun time dancing. The bouncers were really on top of sketch stuff and the drinks were a good price. Parking is a little tough so I definitely recommend Ubering. Looking forward to coming back!
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
One of my first times out in Sacramento! There was a line at 11pm on a Saturday and the cover was $20. I felt like that was a bit high but it did get busy and the venue is pretty large with three different rooms and an area in the back with a pool and bar. Drinks were very affordable so because of that and the overall vibe was great I would still come back even with the cover!

Yelp
I'd steer clear of this club. Read some of the previous reviews to get an idea of some of the negative experiences people have! Unfortunately, the security is on bit of a power trip. I was outside smoking a CBD vape, when a very aggressive, rude, wanna be cop came up to me and demanded I leave for smoking weed. I tried to explain to him that it was CBD, and he just wouldn't hear it. As I walked out, he was talking to someone (probably a manager or other security guards) on the radio who informed him CBD wasn't illegal. As I walked out pretty annoyed by the whole experience, he asked me to come back, and then said never mind, CBD is fine. By this point, I wanted nothing to do with the club anymore, and especially him. There are much better bars in the area (Badlands, The Depot, The Merc, and Bear Dive a short drive away) Don't waste your money here or take the chance of having your night ruined by aggressive security guards.

Yelp
First time ever there for the Amour Ball. Paid $25 plus fees advance to get in the door, spent literal hours shopping and getting ready for their *strict fantasy dresscode*, spent $20 on a Uber to get turned away at the door for having a vape BATTERY. Not drugs, or paraphernalia- a battery. Caught a different security guard and explained it wasn't drugs which the other guard heard and said "she isn't gonna tell you anything different"- but SHE DID! She explained to that dummy it was just a battery, and they miraculously let us in. The security was kicking so many people out- and just being rude about it for no reason. She kinda seems like she's on drugs herself. No one knew where coat check was, upstairs wasn't open, only ONE bar was open, the dance floor was being used for performance... just over all SUPER disorganized for being as expensive as it is. Loved the event but HATE the space they grabbed for it
google avatar

Clairene E.

Yelp
They told my friend at the door she was "banned for the night" because she had a dab pen in her purse...after watching countless people hit nicotine vapes in line, which, are MORE ILLEGAL THAN DAB PENS RN LMAO, and didn't ban anyone for their vapes....cherry on top, she had a whole "Bride To Be" sash on, like way to be party poopers Faces

Yelp
What was supposed to be a night filled with fun and partying, which could've happened since the vibe, music, and drinks were all decent, turned into an abrupt disdain for this establishment due to the complete lack of common sense within the customer service / security department. Let's not even mention the hour long line where you still have to pay a whole $20 to get inside, but once inside, you'll notice there's an outside area. In that area, there is a smoking section. Mind you, not in that hour long line, nor inside, nor anywhere outside, does it say you can't smoke this or that, do this or that. So, if you're outside at 1am, drinking, having a good time, in a SMOKING SECTION, in the city of Sac, in California, would you not think you would be able to smoke some weed? There's cigarettes and alcohol everywhere, but we cross the line here? So as stated, security comes up and acts like they have any mental capacity saying either the one who was holding the joint has to go, or the whole group has to go. Despite trying to knock some sense into them saying, how is anyone supposed to know that rule, is it anywhere to be found, can't we just throw the joint away (which we instantly did), the big-headed security remained stern like a cop who pulls you over and knows they're in the wrong. Needless to say, it was a night horribly ruined for no reason for first-time guests who will never return. Here's the best part also, after that hour long line and before you pay, security CHECKS you. And guess what, security looked and checked everything and said nothing about the obvious joint holders clearly seen. So again, at no point was there signs of doing anything wrong.

Yelp
F*** Faces. They shoo away stoners at the door. I had a small vape pen in my purse and they wouldn't even let me stash it away in my car and come in. They said I could not re-enter because they saw my weed. F those Karen's. Go to Harlow's instead.

Yelp
What a wonderful nightclub!!! I love going to have fun with my friends. There are 3 environments, so you have many options to have fun at night and dance to different styles of music. At the bar the service is fast and the drinks are wonderful. I always meet beautiful and fun people. I always go 2 times a month and I have a lot of fun with my friends.

Yelp
Decided to come here for my birthday yesterday. When arriving there was a group of guys who weren't being let in because of "dress code" (idk if there is even a dress code because we ran into these guys about 20mins later) & even before going in they were already bothering us. After being in there for about 20mins we noticed the guy's who weren't in "dress code" come up to us and harass us again. We decided to go upstairs and watch this show that was happening in the 3 room.. while up there 2 of the girls in our group decided to get a better view and went across the room to the other side (we could still see them). Out of nowhere i saw those 4 guys again go up to our 2 friends, once our friend was ignoring them i saw one of the four guys signal this guy from across the room that I have never seen. Mind you they didn't know that I was watching him because we were on the opposite side of the room. After he signaled this guy, the four guys went downstairs while this new guy went over to my friend and kept looking at her up and down. Once I saw this, I called my friend on her phone and told her to come over to me and when she came over to me and I told her what I had seen...that guy that was just near her, followed her over to the opposite side of the room and sat down on one of the couches behind us, and was just watching her. We started to feel very uncomfortable, so we decided to go downstairs. When going down the stairs, the 4 guys were right there, so we walked past them, and one of them touched my other friend, and made a inappropriate comment towards her. What was scary was these four guys would act like there in a "group" of just them but really they had 3 other guys working with them & would signal each other to go up to different people but not once would they actually communicate with each other (like going up to each other & "hanging out") .. Tbh it felt a sex trafficking thing. That's not the only thing that happened that night while going to the bar to grab some water a guy tapped one of the girls in my group on the shoulder and stared at all of us and started sucking and licking ice cubes from a dirty cup and made inappropriate comments as well. Then, while dancing, there is a older man watching us dance mind you we are dancing for about four songs, and this guy would not leave this corner at first we didn't think nothing of it was just thought he was just you know, enjoying himself or whatever but what really bothered us is we start to feel uncomfortable so we went to a new dance room and he followed right behind us and went to a corner and started staring at us again so then we decided to go to a different room again and he decided to follow once again. Another problem that I have is the downstairs bathroom closest to the back doors that lead to the pool does not lock my friend ended up having to go to the bathroom so she just push the door thinking that it was a big restroom and instead she accidentally walked in on a girl using the bathroom, and was told that there is no lock on the bathroom door (it's just one bathroom Stall). This is not okay at all!!! Especially with these creeps walking around this is NOT SAFE AT ALL!!! Mind you this was all happening in a two hour time frame. Honestly i wanted to like this place.. the music was awesome but there are WAYYYYY TO MANY creeps / weirdos there. Girls beware & stay safe! I had a much better time at bandlands & barwest.

Yelp
My friends and I had a really disappointing time at this club. We were enjoying ourselves, just hanging out and having a good time, when suddenly, 40 minutes before closing, the security staff came over and asked us to leave. We were so confused because we hadn't done anything wrong. We were just chilling, not causing any trouble at all. Plus, we had bought drinks and they were still full! When I asked the security why we had to leave, they didn't give us a clear answer, just insisted that we go. It felt like such a waste of our night and our money. I've never been treated like that in a club before, and it's really put me off ever going back. I'd advise anyone thinking of going here to steer clear unless they want to be kicked out for no reason.

Yelp
Better clubs to go to. Don't waste your time here you'll just end up writing a bad review as well

Yelp
LMFAOO no wonder I had a terrible time at this place last night on my birthday. It only had 3 stars to begin with. Not even 20 minutes I admittedly got my friends and I kicked out without warning or notice because I sparked my blunt in the outside DESIGNATED area where people smoke . They had ashtrays so I was under the assumption it's okay. Little did I know the weirdo manager was preying and watching on my friends sitting by the pool and had security escort us out. The security was cute and very sweet and tried not to make it a problem. My friends tried to stick up for me since there are NO signs saying not to smoke. I assure my friends it wasn't worth talking to security cuz he's just doing his job and he was super sweet about it. My problem is with the weirdo who was watching my friends and I and had security say it was on camera that we were smoking (in a designated smoking area). We were not warned to not smoke (weed). Just kicked out unexpectedly. I will never come back to this shit hole club. 3 dance areas and the music is still the same from 10+ years ago. I definitely think racism was at play. They saw 3 black people and weed and jumped the gun. me nor my friends ever acting belligerent in public and I could say with absolute confidence that we didn't. I don't entertain racist people or places. The loser manager wanted to hide his face and kick us out without warning, like okay. Say less. I'll just warn everyone not to waste their time here The only good thing about this place was the greeter who let me in free for my birthday. Thankfully I paid for my three beautiful friends so they wouldn't waste 20 just to get into this stinky, sticky wannabe club. thankfully there's 5 other bars/clubs with cuter and kinder men, bouncers, greeters, bartenders etc right across the streets.

Yelp
$20 fee to get in and I'm not even allowed to step outside and come back in. Horrible policy for such a high price point. Dance floors are tiny and drinks are overpriced. Not worth your hard earned money or time. Badlands across the street is better.

Yelp
I've been here a few times before and everything has been fine but last night was awful. As my friends and I were dancing, a guy walked past us, he put his arm on my shoulder which wasn't a big deal but then he grabbed the front of my friends neck. She was super upset and scared because obviously some drunk ass stranger touched her like he was gonna choke her. Told security, then not even ten minutes later we see the dude again!! I tell another security guard and he doesn't do anything, and the third security person we told said he couldn't do anything because he didn't see anything happen. You'd think after two girls are telling multiple people this person is too drunk and needs to leave you'd listen, or at least refuse him service from the bar??

Yelp
I walked in and the bartender acted like it was a problem to wait on me. One barstool at the bar. Regulars who came in were warmly welcomed. I used to love this bar. Hopefully will be better in the evening.

Yelp
Nothing worse than going somewhere and the security lacks communication skills. It's very easy to communicate rules and expectations - if I'm minding my business finishing my smoke before getting to the front of the line, and that's a problem - say something in the moment. They'd rather make it an unpleasant experience and try to enforce some sort of zero tolerance like they're the feds. They need to relax or apply for TSA!
