Fainting Goats Vineyard & Winery - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Come to Fainting Goat inJasperto drink wine with goats. It's a fun time. The goats come right up to the fencing of their enclosure for precious photo ops before frolicking back to their ramp-filled playhouse. After getting your fill of the four-legged farm animals, you can grab a seat on the patio to overlook rows and rows of vineyards and cinematic mountain views. The estate wines, made with a mix of French and Georgia vines, fight hard to play first fiddle, especially their deep red, berry-fueled cabernet. For lovers of animals and alcohol, this is definitely a (dare we say)greatest-of-all-time moment." - Juli Horsford

The winery is in a beautiful setting and there’s lots of outdoor space to enjoy the scenery. The indoor seating is good as well, although in both cases the chairs are pretty uncomfortable the way they hit your spine so taking your own camp chair isn’t a bad idea. The wine’s not bad. Nothing I would go out of my way for, but it makes for a fine afternoon to sit out and enjoy the weather — and in summer, some live music. The goats and their guardian dogs are a must see!

The staff, atmosphere and views are all amazing. It was very relaxing. I did expect more goats, idk why but I did. They have wines grouped together for their flights, so that was different. They did let us try ones we were not sure about. I’ve visited a few times, even once with my dog after a nice hike and had a slushy and sat outside and enjoyed the weather.

A breathtaking winery overlooking the North Georgia Mountains serving rich, well-balanced wines. They offer tastings for $15 and have other options for you to enjoy the calm and serene atmosphere with views of the vineyards and mountain. The tangerine slushie was perfect on a hot, summer day. Also, take a stroll to see the goats. Very welcoming and friendly staff...

Let's call it a 4.5. Beautiful mountainside location overlooking North Georgia mountains. Perhaps one of the prettiest views. Relaxed vibe. Lots of outside seating with folks bringing picnic lunches to snack on while enjoying the wine and the view. Very nice staff, and yes there are goats! They didn't have glasses of wine from their locally-sourced grapes which was a disappointment. I would have liked to have tasted something grown in their vineyard without having to purchase a bottle. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Pretty nice place to relax, and pet friendly! They offer several options for sampling their wines, and you can bring some food and have it there and they will recommend what wine goes well with what you are going to eat. Quite honestly, it was a really nice experience!

Loved this vineyard! The vibes were so relaxed and refreshing! The flights were well priced. We got their limited edition Girl Scout Cookie flight and it came with three wines each paired with a cookie!! It was surprisingly well paired! The views were beautiful, there’s abundant seating, the inside is wonderfully decorated and comfortable, there’s balcony seating, and lower seating as well. There was lovely live music, and the goats were adorable! Looks like a great place for a bridal shower, baby shower, and even a wedding! We’ll definitely go again! 🥰

always have an amazing time here. the service is excellent, the ambiance is serene, and the wine is spectacular! if you are looking for a winery that checks all the boxes this one is it! they are not up tight like other ones around here are. you can bring lunch, your kids, your pets, and just enjoy the day!

Our second time here and it is still one of the most relaxing vineyards we have been to in Georgia! Sitting on the upper balcony is as serene as it gets. Long range fountain views and short range….goat views. Ha. The Jogging Path muskat was my favorite. Not a huge vineyard, but quaint. Stop by and enjoy the view, the goats, and a glass!
