This property should be classified as a motel, not a Marriott-branded hotel.
I booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool, which I learned upon arrival is closed indefinitely because the ceiling might cave in—a detail apparently considered too minor to disclose anywhere on the listing. Unfortunately, that was the sole reason I chose this property.
The elevator technically functions, in the sense that you can step inside and press a button. After that, you must patiently wait while the doors open and close four separate times before the elevator decides to go to your floor. It’s less transportation and more suspense.
Sleep was equally memorable. The bed squeaks at the slightest movement, ensuring you are fully aware of every turn you make throughout the night. The air conditioner works… eventually, just not well enough to cool the room properly. The television appears to predate flat screens and may still be mourning the loss of its tube.
The room’s lamp includes electrical outlets that do not work, which I discovered while trying to charge my phone. After multiple failed attempts, I had to unplug the clock from the wall outlet just to power my chargers—always a comforting workaround in 2025.
The washcloths had holes, and the bath towels also had holes, which nicely reinforced the overall theme of “past their usable lifespan.”
After finally managing to fall asleep, housekeeping began aggressively knocking on doors nearly three hours before checkout, presumably to make sure no one overslept through the discomfort.
Communication is also an adventure. There is no phone in the room, so guests are instructed to use the app, where messages go unanswered. When I eventually located a phone number and called, I was informed that nothing could be done until morning, as problems apparently observe manager business hours.
The only positive aspect of this stay was the front desk attendant, Emily, who was genuinely kind, patient, and professional—despite clearly working within a system that gives her very little to work with.
Between the undisclosed pool closure, broken elevator, non-functioning outlets, hole-ridden linens, lack of basic amenities, and nonexistent overnight support, this stay fell dramatically below Marriott standards. This property is an embarrassment to the brand, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking an actual hotel experience.
