Where to eat and drink when you’re attending the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Reigning supreme for business in Vegas, I find the Las Vegas Convention Center opens the year with CES in town and offers 3.2 million square feet of space, including 13 exhibit halls and parking for approximately 10,000 cars; it's located on Paradise Road about three miles from 100,000 hotel rooms and anchors a city that hosts more than 21,000 conventions and meetings every year." - Eater Staff

Recent week spent at the Fairfield In Las Vegas Convention Center for SEMA / AAPEX Expos. I am nearing 700 nights on Marriot properties from resorts to the standard "I need a clean, safe and comfortable room". Hard to beat this location with less than 1 mile walk to the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. If you know SEMA, walking will easily beat traffic. This is a standard Fairfield Inn; clean, safe and comfortable room. Why I write, is the front counter staff was warm and welcoming everyday. Really nice to start and end the day with a warm greeting. High marks to Cora at the front desk, but genuinely all made my stay feel more than a standard hotel. Happy member of the Marriott family, simply exceptional staff at this location.

This was a great place to stay for a few days! Everything was great. All of the staff was super nice & helpful. I have to say though, that KT was amazing! She was always a great face & personality to see when we came in to the lobby. She did the "little extra things" that made us feel good about being here!

Dangerous, Disappointing and Communication was non-existent. DANGEROUS: 1. Later on the second day of my stay the hotel fire alarm went off while I was in the shower. I called the front desk four times and no one answered. I toweled off, got dressed, gathered my valuables and walked down three flights of stairs when the alarm stopped. I saw an employee and asked what was going on, she replied "It's no big deal, the contractors set it off". A fire alarm in a hotel is a REALLY BIG DEAL and I did not see any safety protocols followed to ensure guests were safe or communicated with. 2. A second fire alarm went off later that day and again, nobody was answering phones and no safety protocols were followed. This is a massive failure on the part of the hotel and one of the biggest reasons not to stay there. Had there been a real threat, it became apparent that it was every guest for themselves. 3. The location is OK during the day but not at night. I walked to a 7-11 about a block away in the evening and there were groups in the parking lot that paid particular attention to me. DISAPPOINTING: 1. The first morning there was a place to eat breakfast. The next two mornings the eating area was closed and there were people wandering around trying to find a place to sit. No signs, no communication, when I asked about seating I was told to take the food to my room. 2. There was construction work going on above my room after 9-PM which required numerous phone calls to the front desk - they weren't very responsive. I finally insisted that they send someone to my room. When he arrived he said he would investigate and eventually the noise stopped. 2. AC in the room had a loud grating noise when it came on which consistently woke me up. I turned it off and slept on top of the covers. Room was very stuffy in the morning. 2. Shower pressure is low. 3. Pillows were very lumpy and not comfortable. 4. Construction work was being done and the pool was closed. SUMMARY: Marriott needs to take a hard look at how their facilities handle fire alarms and evacuations because that is the most dangerous thing that can happen in a hotel. Considering the total lack of communication on all things and the fact I cannot find anything positive to say sums it up; For your own safety, stay away.

Google
My stay was great, yes they have construction going on but it's not as loud as people are saying, but that could be because I was on the second floor. The breakfast is good, just your usual continental breakfast. they switch up the hot food every day. very close to the sphere but i wouldn't walk these streets at night 🫢

Google
We cannot say enough amazing things about the service we got from Cora and KT and the rest of the staff here. We're moving across the country and it has been a long trip. These women went above and beyond good customer service. We were able to park our truck and trailer in a safe place. We were able to store some boxes out of the way, clean out our cooler, and other simple things that made our stay a welcome break. Thank you for being an accommodating and wonderful experience.

Debbie M.

Google
The hotel was clean , the carpet looked a little crunchy though . The complimentary breakfast was good . You had a choice of coffee, tea ,bacon one day turkey sausages( the next day). eggs, oatmeal ,apples ,oranges . I liked the fact it had different ethnicities sitting down eating breakfast. One big melting pot. Most of the customer service staff was friendly 🙄

Jeran C.

Google
Pleasant helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast was also good enough for what it was. The room was very dated. Hot water was hit and miss so be ready for a few luke-warm showers. Neighborhood is very rough. While technically walking distance from the convention center, you wouldn't want to walk alone or at night.

Google
Great location - close to airport. Wonderful and helping Front Desk. Quick check-in. Comfortable rooms with good King and Queen beds. Limited view from the window, though. Comfortable bathroom. Shower nozzle / settings can improve, though. Has evening for a comfortable stay…

Yelp
I've stayed at a decent amount of Fairfield Inn's this one is about 1 mile walk to LV Blvd and I came this time to Vegas for a wedding and avoided gambling like I usually would... Convenient location....nice staff and management...decently maintained... I'd stay here again and it is close to the convention center that I would even consider booking so I can walk to the Convention Center either LV Convention Center or even Venetian Convention Center....

Yelp
I liked everything about this hotel except for the front desk staff. The breakfast was delicious and always had a hot special (not just cold cereal and donuts). When I stayed, it was apple cinnamon waffles and they were great. The room itself was quite comfortable and clean. The whole stay was very quiet, with no loud guests or children in the hallway. There was a pretty, clean pool right outside our window, but nobody was ever swimming in it. The hotel was very close to the strip, but not so close as to be annoying. It was a quick walk across a nice palm-tree lined street. There were also some good restaurants between the hotel and the strip: Bahama Breeze and Cozymels. The shuttle drivers were friendly and prompt, but that was where my happiness with the staff ended. Now onto the front desk workers - they almost made us miss the second half of our trip (which was a bus ride to Los Angeles and two days at Manhattan Beach). We packed our things on our last day, called down to the front desk almost an hour before our bus was set to leave and asked them to call us a cab (believe me, we would have called ourselves, but the hotel staff TOLD us that they prefer it when the hotel themself calls--as they know the proper coordinates to go to, etc). They said they would call them and that we should come down about 10 minutes before we needed to leave to wait for the cab. Well, we came down when they told us to and they hadn't even CALLED the cab yet. They called them THEN when we needed to LEAVE then and they told us to wait outside for them. So we go out in the 100 degree heat and wait...and wait...and wait some more. I went back in three times to ask if they had any info on where the cab was as we waited for FORTY FIVE minutes! When the cab finally arrived we were pretty irate, both with the desk workers and with the cab driver for being so late after the first call, but what really got us was when the bus driver told us that each time we went in to tell the front desk that we were still waiting, they would call the cab company and request ANOTHER cab. Not call and ask them where our original cab was. So they were just causing confusion and suspicion at the cab company as we were moving down and down and down the list. The cab driver said that all they needed to do to get them to come straight to us was to SAY that we had a bus to catch and were in a hurry. But did they do that? NO! They just kept calling and making NEW requests for cabs! Not emphasizing the need for the first cab. Astounding. So I would recommend this hotel if you want no be close to the Strip but a little outside of the craziness. Just be sure you coordinate any transport and double/triple check it's all good, and do NOT trust that the front desk staff has it covered like they tell you.

Yelp
For a basic affordable Marriott property in Vegas, this was almost perfect. The staff greeted us warmly and since I'm a Marriott Elite member, I got some treats of hot chocolate kit and peanut butter cookie in my room. Rooms were clean, no sign of bedbugs, and bathroom was adequate with hot shower. I especially liked how easy it was to put on contacts due to how close I could get to the mirror. There was relatively enough space to spread our things out but definitely smaller table space. There is an armoire that can fit some bags. One thing that docked a star is that you can't really adjust temperature easily. Also if you get a 1st floor room, that could potentially be noisy. Breakfast was really solid - typical cheese egg omelet found in every Fairfield or Springhill suites. However this one has mashed avocados you can use to make avocado toast. There are some tables that will be in direct view of sunlight so that may be potentially a turn off. They can install some blinds to fix that though. Parking is $20 a night, typical of the area. Plenty of spaces to park. Overall I would definitely return to stay here as long as I don't need a glitzy Vegas hotel.

Yelp
Warm welcome from staff when we checked in. It's a basic accommodation - clean, breakfast included. This location is a bit dated, a little reno would make them keep up with the Vegas vibe. We stayed on the first floor and our room is quite dark and the night time construction is very noisy. ***There's no safe in the room.

Yelp
Booking a hotel during F1 Weekend--what were we thinking? Thankfully, we found availability at the Fairfield Inn. We were mainly in town to visit family but decided to catch a show at Caesars Palace to make the trip worthwhile. The hotel's location near the convention center and we walked the 1.5 miles each way to Caesars Palance without any trouble. The first thing we noticed was how friendly and attentive the hotel staff were. While it's not a fancy hotel on the Strip, we truly felt welcomed here. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the room surprisingly included a microwave and fridge, even though we didn't need them for our one-night stay. The highlight of the complimentary breakfast? Fresh guacamole you can scoop yourself to make avocado toast--so delicious! If you stay here, you've got to try it. I'd definitely stay at Fairfield Inn again.

Yelp
There must be some shenanigans for this place to be called a Marriott. Worst Marriott hotel I've stayed in e v e r. Front desk folks are incompetent and they will consistently miss housekeeping assignments. No professionalism whatsoever.

Yelp
Enjoyed our two night stay. 15 minutes on foot to Sphere, which was perfect for our plans to see U2 again at Sphere and the "Postcards" movie. Basic hotel with a very good breakfast included. Comfortable bed. Shower and tub were undersized and cramped, but plentiful hot water. Staff at front desk were friendly and service was excellent and appreciated. Small gym that was adequate. Pool not inviting, but looked fine if a hot day. I would stay here again if the price was right (as they had a great deal for points and cash). And based on the proximity to Sphere. Note, that, there were a few good restaurants quite close (500 feet or so ). Only criticism ... I am Platinum Elite with Marriott. No one at the front desk cared at all, and I am not sure that all of the staff even knew what Platinum status perks existed at this property, if any.
google avatar

Jeff G.

Yelp
Just fine for what it is, and it has an exceptionally friendly staff. Great for a walk to the Sphere. Plus, some retro appeal.

Yelp
This property is clearly not new, but there have been significant upgrades and, particularly on the inside, the facility is quite appealing overall. The room AC was adequate, an important feature during our summer visit, during which high temps were over 100 degrees. The breakfast bar was a couple notches above what I've come to expect from this type of hotel. The attendant at the night desk was truly special, immediately and intuitively understanding our needs when told of our flight cancellation predicament, and offering us a late checkout corresponding to our new mid-afternoon takeoff time. If everyone was more like her, the world would be a better, happier place.

Gio A.

Yelp
Great staff!! Celeste, thanks for your smile and kindness you are an amazing woman who truly care for the guests. Will come back again. I want to give special thanks to The people in the cafeteria, taking care to have a clean environment and greeting people. From all our family, thanks Celeste, we will miss yor smile.

Yelp
Stayed here for 5 days. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Location is close by the strip. But its located on some shady area. Soon as i enter the hotel it reeks with marijuana smell in the hallway. Hotel Is out dated and only one elevator is working. When i entered the room noticed the old carpet on floor. Bath sink and bathtub is clog. Turned on the water and dark sand particles coming out of the water. Very unpleasant stay because the air-condition is loud and its right next to the bed. Made me feel like am stay in Motel 6 not a Marriott Standard. I hate leaving negative reviews because i always book rooms using Marriott Hotels. But this one was my only bad stay so far.

Kris M.

Yelp
WARNING- Do not stay here. But if you must-insist on an odd number room-less noise. Construction noise outside our window at 3am on a Sunday morning. Also tepid water- at best. We booked 2nights. Asked for refund on 2nd night bc we didn't want to hear noise again. Nope, and forget about a refund on the noisy first night. We were able to move to another room. Better, but a bummer to deal with while on vacation.

Tre H.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly and helpful, but this hotel needs some serious updating. It is near The Sphere, but if you walk 1/4 mile the opposite direction you will not do it twice. Breakfast was OK and the morning crew was doing their best to keep it going with a full lobby full of guests. If you are someone who prizes being able to work at your hotel, stay somewhere else. The door to my room moved every time some in a nearby room entered or exited their room. I kept thinking someone was knocking at my door!
google avatar

Jen-Jen B.

Yelp
The place was good enough to stay in. Usually, we would stay somewhere on the strip. We weren't trying to stay on the strip since we were there for other reasons. Our first encounter with front desk was pleasant and with ease. Diana was very professional and very helpful. We had no problem reaching front desk to request more towels and such. The room was quaint and comfortable enough. The beds gave us a decent night's sleep. Very nice to have a working microwave, fridge, tv, and coffee maker. The thermostat seemed a bit outdated, but it worked. The bathroom could use a bit of renovations. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad. It's like any other continental breakfast like these inns. Coffee and cucumber water was always available. Location for being not on the strip is not so bad. Convention center is just down the street. Plenty of places around to eat. Just not much opened late. All in all, wouldn't mind staying here again.

Yelp
This hotel is in a great location and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Cora at the front desk really helped us out as we were in town for a funeral. She really was very understanding and very helpful. My husband and I had to divide and conquer as this was a very unexpected last minute trip. Cora really went above and beyond for us and is a true gem. We had chosen this hotel for the price so we could give as much as possible for my cousins funeral but it turned out to be one of our favorites because of the welcoming staff, literally everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. It was a super convenient location for us and the breakfast was great too. Not fancy but it worked well for the 3 nights we needed.

Yelp
This is an older hotel and is starting to show its age, staff was friendly and attentive. Room was comfortable, we were on the first floor next to the pool and even though there were kids in the pool our room was quiet, the hallway was a different story as you can hear door closing and people walking quite well. The room lacks one of the most essential amenities these days, charging ports, so make sure you bring your adapter to plug into the wall outlet or you won't be able to charge your phone. $10 parking in an open lot, is another drawback, the name however is a little bit deceptive, while the hotel is on the same street as the convention center it's almost a mile away and walking a mile in the heat not something you really want to do after a long day at the convnetion. Breakfast was sub-standard, pre-made omelets, turkey (sitting in a pool of grease) sausage, bland pork sausage, there were no potatoes, breads, toaster, or bagles they did have a waffle maker and the choice of a couple small muffins. Would pick another location next time I need to be close to the convention center.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Economical Marriott that is a block away from the Strip. Stayed here during the NFL Draft when all of the other places were crazy expensive. Rooms are no frills and starting to show their age a little. However I was so impressed by the staff that I had to give this place 5 stars. Sometimes when you stay at a cheaper Marriott you don't get that Marriott experience that you are accustomed to. Not so at this location. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Thanks for the amazing service!
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Reasonable price and relatively close to strip (20 minute walk and less than $10 uber to the strip). Free breakfast (and free coffee all the time). Comfortable room with a fridge and coffee. I would have given 3 stars for the postage stamp pool and the shower that took forever to warm up and would suddenly drop in temperature. But I gave one back since they are basically in a food nirvana, with a ton of reasonable and fantastic places to eat within a block.

Liz G.

Yelp
Hotel was nice and clean; not modern but comfortable. Beds, AC and showers were above my expectations. Check in staff was very helpful Saturday night. However, when I checked out on Monday morning, the front desk staff didn't even look up when I said I was checking out. The one main complaint I have is I was put in room 120 on the first floor, which is connected to the Housekeeping room. While it is nice to have happy employees, each morning it sounded like they were having parties in there while setting up their carts for the day and talking loudly. Woke me up very early both mornings. Plus the ice machine is across the hallway, so I did not get much sleep. Next door, there is an excellent restaurant called Tacos and Beer. I would stay at this hotel again; just not room 120.
google avatar

Kyle N.

Yelp
Excellent location, steps away from a multitude of restaurants, and only minutes away from the Strip. Friendly staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast attendant and housekeepers. However, there were many issues that made our stay not so enjoyable. Arrived first night to a remote control that doesn't work, a TV that wouldn't shut off, and a completely clogged bathtub drain next morning. Their continental breakfast is one of the poorest I've seen in this type of hotels, and I've done a gazillion of them, they don't even offer toasted bread!! And as if the poor breakfast items selection wasn't bad enough, they constantly run out of whatever few items they offer. The only ice machine that works in all four floors is the one on the ground floor, and that's no accident, they have signs to that effect. Most unfortunate of all, the walls are paper thin, I heard the neighbors conversation so clearly I wanted to chime in! Avoid.
google avatar

Shana G.

Yelp
This is the worst Marriott I've stayed in. First, it's old, which I can handle but it's not clean. My room even has dirty fingerprints on the walls. The areas surrounding the hotel are eyesores. To top it off the ac didn't work and I had to wait for maintenance to fix it. I'm beyond disappointed. The only positive is the staff was kind. I do NOT recommend.

Yelp
Useful Tip: Nearly three traffic lights from Airport & less than two miles from LV Strip I secured this last minute same day reservation via Marriott App Saturday December 2, 2017 for a smoking hot deal. Other Marriott locations such as The Cosmo Autograph Collection were $500+ for one night one bed. It's obvious the hotel is aged but the renovations are comparable to some of these pricer renovated hotels on the strip like Linq who still have A/C units in the wall as well. Front desk check in was pleasant and my room was extremely clean. If your seeking decent hotel accommodations at wallet friendly prices this Fairfield Inn is another great location to consider. If your seeking Forbes rated accommodations upgrade your wallet because Vegas has plenty hotels willing to tack on resort fees, parking fees, inflated pricing, without breakfast or shuttle alternative and your still not guaranteed a "clean room". This Fairfield Inn may have been a gamble but I was victorious in the end!
google avatar

Yelp
Helpful staff located away from The Strip. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit on the small side. The location is good for the Convention Center or if you have a car. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is what you would expect from a Fairfield Inn.
google avatar

Johnny W.

Yelp
When rating a hotel like this you have to be aware what it is being rated against- other two star compared hotels in the area. So this is like a holiday inn, residence inn etc. #1 reason for four stars rather than 3 is the staff. The staff will always go out of there way to help! The rooms are much quieter than many of the other comparable hotels except for the door slamming. The air noise is less than being at the airport. The parties are not crazy here most people are here for work. The breakfast is edible and coffee is always available. If you are looking for a reasonable hotel near the convention center- stay here.
google avatar

Derek S.

Yelp
Stayed here the other night and the property was in the middle of a remodel. Luckily, all of the rooms have been completely remodeled. The front desk is a converted hotel room and the breakfast area is a converted suite... Apparently their credit card machine was offline when I checked in and I received a call from "corporate" requesting for my credit card information...seemed fishy. The room itself was okay, although quite basic. - Towels were plentiful but on the thin side. - The mattress, pillows, and comforters were all comfortable. - The HVAC unit only had Heat/AC, Low or High Modes...which meant that my room was an oven by the time I woke up in the morning...eek! The breakfast was surprisingly decent for a lower end Marriott property ...walls were paper thin as well...

Yelp
Hotel exceeded our expectations! This property was recently renovated so it felt like a new hotel. The room and lobby was modern, clean and fresh. This hotel had a lot of complimentary amenities including free parking, wifi, out door pool, breakfast & airport shuttle! Front desk and operator were extremely friendly and helpful and housekeeping did a great job refreshing our room. The only reason why I wouldn't give this hotel a five-star review is due to the weekend breakfast attendant. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. We got scolded for not knowing how to use the waffle maker and she rudely stood in front of us a couple of times to restock items. She also gave us dirty looks when we took some muffins to our room. Other than the rude breakfast lady, we loved this place! If you're looking for a great value and a nice hotel that doesn't charge you for every little thing, this place is worth looking into! Also, thank you to my shuttle driver (Wally?) for the enjoyable free ride to the airport!

Yelp
the free breakfast buffet was to die for! I already can't wait to go back! rachel aka ashley went out of her way multiple times for my friend and i. we appreciate her! 10 stars!

Yelp
I urge anyone reading my review to NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Long story short, I had my vehicle's (catalytic converter) stolen in the hotel parking overnight. Luckily even though it was Sunday morning when I discovered that this had happened. I found a muffler shop nearby who replaced it... but that's not the point. When I contacted the hotel's corporate office all I got was a "sorry" Well I'm sorry to say, that sorry doesn't replace an original catalytic converter. Prices at over $1,500.00 For the amount of money that the hotel generates. They can afford surveillance cameras in every corner of that small parking lot, to deter crime. But it's obvious that they do not give a rat's behind; to what happens to their client's vehicles..

Nomi D.

Yelp
Five stars for the hospitality from the jump. I was given the run down of the property and we felt welcomed. Thank you to the woman at the front desk for being so friendly. I can't remember her name. And the housekeeper that gave me the extra ten minutes to vacate. I totally understand rooms need to be cleaned for the next guest. Keep working hard ladies and gents. I appreciate the clean room and breakfast. The pool looked inviting but didn't get time to enjoy. The location is perfect not to far from the strip and the new sphere that was built. I don't have any negatives to think of everything was smooth sailing. Future guests don't forget to tip!

Jen K.

Yelp
If I could give less stars I would. You know it's bad when you have complete opposition at check in. Tried checking in with my reservation #, reserved with points to face the longest wait and biggest hassle Ive ever experienced checking in at any hotel ever. The manager has assured me my wait is due to security purposes. The staff is condescending and patronizing. My husband made the reservation under his name and I've checked in plenty of other times at other hotels when he has done this without the reservation being in my name with no problem. I have never experienced this before. I will Intentionally do my best to never make a reservation here again.

Gerri H.

Yelp
I was truly pleased and impressed by the Front Desk Cora who checked me in, her welcoming was super friendly and she was very professional. She told me what the Hotel had to often and surprised me with her knowledge of things around the hotel. Breakfast was great and Celeste was awesome, the staff here are tops. The morning guy Darrius was friendly and helpful. I work at TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Salt Lake City Utah and I thought our staff was the best, but you guys are just as good and I was blessed to stay with you. Thank you. Gerri with a G.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week as we are waiting on our own place to be ready. I could've given probably 4 stars as I'm not a picky person but dang. Service is great, employees' attitudes are professional but THE DOORS OUTSIDE OUR ROOM LITERALLY SLAM PROBABLY HUNDRED TIMES A DAY. On our 4th day, we were just chilling in the room and we can hear the doors literally every other minute, and feel the impact every freaking time. Oh my goodness, the management and the corporate need to do something about these dang doors because it's very inconvenient and disturbing. It is even the reason we wake up early because the continuous slamming would begin as early as 7ish throughout the day.

Yelp
Labor Day weekend in Vegas during a pandemic= a disaster. I chose this hotel because I didn't want to be on the strip but based off what I experienced I should have been on the strip. The room walls are sooo thin you can hear everything in the rooms next to you. I literally sat in my room and listened to the TV next door, I could hear clearly what they were watching. My room was by the pool and people were swimming and loud AF at 7am with kids screaming... The king bed room is a nice size but the bathroom was small. Somehow I ended up in the handicap room and there was a bar in the shower that I kept hitting my arm which was highly annoying. The room looked clean didn't see anything wrong there. The bathroom was not clean, there was some toothpaste like substance smeared on the counter and there wasn't enough towels for two people. Next door is Firefly which is like a restaurant/club so the music is really loud and you can hear it in your room. Saw people in the parking lot drinking and smoking weed. Saw a domestic violence situation in a car. And to top it all off, the charge $10 a day for parking and I had no idea until I got my receipt emailed to me.. Yeah, it's a no from me dawg. Never again. Oh yeah, there's a microwave and fridge in the room. One star for that.

Yelp
After being denied access at another hotel near Sunrise medical center because I was carrying a firearm while on official business! This place was very friendly and welcoming! Awesome customer service! Great clean room!

Yelp
When my flight was canceled I had to book a last minute room, so I found a room here. The front desk attendant was very welcoming and professional, and check in was quick. My room was very clean and felt very comfortable. I definitely would stay here again.

k a.

Yelp
If you stay here and get something stolen from you, don't expect them to help. I asked for assistance in getting some kind of footage and was told that the cameras don't work, even though it looks like there are two cameras above the front desk. And the best part is..... they told the police that the cameras have not worked for decades. This is beyond unacceptable and I would never have stayed there had I known.

Yelp
My husband I always book nothing but Marriott hotels. I have always felt special at Marriott hotels until now. My only guess is because on this occasion, I used my points for 2 free nights. I asked for a couple of waters at check in and she told me they didn't have any but right behind her I saw the bags made up with water bottles in them (the same ones I would normally get.) Also, they are doing construction in the lobby so there is no market to buy snacks or that water they didn't have in the back. Matter of fact, she directed me down the road to a store if I wanted a drink.not even an offer of tap water.

Yelp
When I was here, December 2017, it needed some updating. Not far from here was a pot dispensary and the smell of those blazing nearby was prolific. I wouldn't say it is in the most safest-appearing part of town but it is located not too far off the strip. I won't stay here again if I have any choice but don't just take my word for it.

Yelp
I have not have time to write this, but I stayed on the night of July 11. 2020. Worst experience at any Marriott hotel every. Room 437 was a standard worse than a motel. I called asking for towels many times never getting them. I also asked for a wake call never got that and also called because the wall are so thin I could hear the people enjoying thing like I was in the middle of it with them. Come on when I mentioned things checking out a day early asking for a manager to call with zero response. Hope this gets your attention now! Thanks!!!

Yelp
The ONLY good thing about this place was "KT", who checked us in. When we stayed here we didn't feel welcome at all. At 10:30am, with the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, the house keepers came by to ask when we were leaving. Then a little while later someone called our room and also asked us when we were going to be checking out....uh? 12:00pm maybe? When check out time is. Whats the rush? We were also unfortunate to stay here during the sketchy remodel. Don't stay here, it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Not your normal marriott by any means. The rooms were ok, but the tv didn't work well. Many of the channels were fuzzy. The beds were comfortable.

Yelp
Extremely expensive. The Excalibur was half price at least ( even including Hugh resort fee). this is a 2 stars review. DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL.

Yelp
So, was visiting Vegas and booked a room at the Fairfield Inn. First night, was in the room for 30 minutes and noticed I could hear the kids in the next room line they were sitting next to me. Turned the tv off. Yep clear as day. Called the front desk and she said "Yep this place was built in the 80s and there is no insulation in the walls". I get calls all the time. I think her name was TK and she kindly moved us to a new room. That was the last good thing to happen. We had a toddler, so of course the trashes filled up fast and the bed got apple juice spilled on it. When we asked for the room to be cleaned they said no, it wont be cleaned until you leave. They wouldn't even remove the trash! We asked for queen sheets to change the one bed, and some guy brought up some random mismatched sheets and no blanket. We asked for fresh towels as we had placed ours for pick up prior to knowing the maid wasn't coming. The lady would only give us 3! Two adults and one child with 3 towels. She said that's all she was supposed to give. We ended up placing our trash and sheets neatly outside the door as no one ever came by to get them. Very bad customer service. Then, straw on camels back, I just looked and they charged us $10 a day for parking! Never told us there was a charge. Will never stay there again.

Yelp
Stayed here with my Marriot points during memorial weekend. Worked out great, the stay was paid by my points only. Couple of pros: -Nice helpful staff - Myra you rock the front desk. -Free breakfast. The spread had lots of variety. Healthy items from oatmeal and yogurt to a fresh waffle maker. They also had oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. Not too shabby. -The double bed room was clean and renovated. -Complimentary gym Cons: -The picture on the Marriot.com site of the king with sofa suite room was not even a option at the hotel. The hotel didn't even have this room available at all. Not sure where the picture came from. -The room had a wall air unit. It worked well, but was so loud. Sounded like an airplane. -The pool was under construction. Should be nice after it's done, but until then, no pool for the guests :( Happy Vegasing!!

Yelp
Really nice Inn, as expected from Marriott. The room didn't smell weird upon arrival and it was clean. Bathrooms had three mirrors and a spacious counter. Desk, fridge, and microwave was available as well. TV worked. Continental breakfast at 7:00am? It was wonderful. They had build your own waffles, a bunch of breads, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. The overall noise level in the Inn was fairly quiet and room service was very active. For the rate you pay, this place was excellent. I liked that you had to have the card/key to enter the building in a different spot other than the front, so you know it's a lot safer than cheaper motels and Inns. Would come here again or look into other Marriott stays as well!

Yelp
Had a great stay at this Fairfield inn but the services provided by KT made this stay even more enjoyable. She was so kind, attentive, and her customer service was phenomenal. I have stayed at many Marriott locations in California and Nevada, but none of the stays had me feel so welcomed. I appreciate KT and the whole staff at this location. Thank you!

Yelp
Catherine (Sales Manager ) help us make our beauty conference possible. She and her team provided an execellent costumer service. From Day 1 of inquiring room block until the day we check out - Our team is so greatful to be in this property and for the great stay experience. All of the hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping team is very well trained in handling cleanliness/ sanitation in regards to Covid-19. (Lobby, Meeting Space, guest room and bathrooms) Very good choice of grab and go breakfast and the coffee station that keep us going the whole day :) Thank you Fairfield Inn Las Vegas Convention Center TEAM - will definitely come back and stay in your property again.

Yelp
I stay here for work sometimes. Comfortable rooms, TV dish not so reliable, but who's in LAS to watch the tube? Breakfast is the usual "just add water" eggs and turkey sausage, but a good choice of cereals and yoghurt, cantaloupe, and coffee. Great thing here is the staff. Some REALLY friendly and helpful folks here,, especially KT, and Wally!!! Cool people!!

Yelp
Nice hotel, old and noisy A/C consoles and you can hear your neighbors and everyone. Decent free breakfast and free wifi. Close to the strip but hidden.

Yelp
Holly crap my worst nightmare!! I killed a cockroach in my room 307! I spoke to the manager to refund me for my stay and he did. Definitely dodge this place.
