Perched above a historic independent hotel beside Hemisfair, this terrace pairs Nonna’s oysters and antipasti with sweeping Tower of the Americas views. A refined, local alternative to the River Walk crowds.

We went for the Jazz, the view, and the ambiance. It was a little unfortunate that our service was lacking. We were quickly served water and received menus, but after waiting about 20+ minutes, no one came back. The bar was quite busy, so we were trying to be understanding. I eventually had to stand at the bar for service. We still enjoyed the live Jazz and the beautiful weather. The evening was perfect with my bride across the table. Service would have hit 5-Stars if expectations were set appropriately. I know it'll be better next time! The Rooftop at The Fairmount Hotel is still one of our favorite places for a romantic evening for two or for date nights with friends. We'll certainly be back! #AgentVal Val J Aranda A Wonderful Life Real Estate Group

Profoundly disappointing experience. Would not recommend this place at all. Oysters were small, flimsy pieces of nothing, crackers were so stale they broke into pieces upon opening the packets, fries were old and inedible. Ended up walking down the street to eat real food. Don’t waste your money.

I had wanted to try this place for some time. Unfortunately, there was construction work on the street downstairs. The fortunate part of this was that there was no work being done at the time, so no noise. We were met at the front door and rode up the elevator with an employee who suggested appetizers and indicated they had a full bar. Although she stated they were a full bar two of the drinks I ordered could not be made because they did not have all the ingredients. So I ended up ordering a cucumber martini and I can say it was delish! I ordered a Salatta Verde, Polpette, and the Ceviche. The ceviche was delicious. I love the fact that they added pieces of jalapeno, pineapple, and cherry tomatoes. It had that sweet, spicy, citrus flavor that made it unique to me. After 45 minutes of waiting for the rest of our food we finished our drinks, thanked the bar staff for their superb service and canceled the rest of the food we had not received. The bar staff apologized and mentioned they had reported this to the manager. As we waited for the elevator, the doors opened, and an employee exited with our food in hand only to stop to talk to the couple standing by us about they're stay in the hotel. So you can imagine my disgust that my food was not covered while they spoke. But not only that, we could not get into the elevator because he was blocking the entrance and not once did he move out of the way nor acknowledged us after speaking to the couple. Tsk, Tsk, I hope he was not the manager. I will say I enjoyed the view with a drink in hand. Will I go back? Maybe, maybe not we'll see.

Hubs and we're celebrating our anniversary and had reservations at Silo Prime. Definitely had to be way early for dinner so we had the excuse of stopping at the Rooftop Bar!! Beautiful setting, atmosphere and ambiance! Service was on point as always....such a friendly staff. And dame those drinks were definitely now whimpy. If you have a chance to stop by ....do it! You will not be disappointed. Last visit we had the oysters delish and ice cold!!

$26 for a GLASS of Rosé🙄. We were there for a wedding and lady never came to get us after instructing us to WAIT downstairs . So the wedding started without us AND the grooms parents. Just unacceptable! Matter of fact the parents TOTALLY missed the ceremony. Unreal. Some nice dude came to tell us they had started because he saw the bride.

We got here on a Sunday at 3:45. Website claims open at 11 but it opens at 4 and you can get no food before 5pm until Silo opens downstairs. The view was nice ‘till they built this big building to the south. The bartender Josh was really nice.

The place is nice very plain and simple. The food is excellent. Service was slow. My food came up, went to the wrong table then sat at the bar for 5/10 minutes before anyone brought it to me. Apparently no one knew where it was supposed to go. The servers seemed very young and inexperienced.
