Visited for afternoon tea. The scone was delightfully fluffy and bursting with flavour, perfectly complemented by a rich dollop of cream and sweet fruit preserves. The assortment of desserts was visually appealing and a delightful mix of textures and flavours. The breathtaking view of the lake added to the overall experience. The attentive staff made the service exceptional.

What a great time! We were here celebrating getting engaged and had Emily as our server. First off, she’s fantastic! Personable, has great recommendations and knows the menu onside and out. I have a weird food allergy and she made sure to check with the chefs to make sure there were no risks which was appreciated. Drinks - they have a fun menu! Each cocktail is named for something in the area, and the wine selection is great. 10/10 recommend getting their Beef Tartare which is highlighted in our menu. Alba made ours right at the table and you can increase, decrease or omit ingredients if you so wish. It was hands down the best tartare I’ve ever had. We split the tenderloin and some sides as well. It was beautifully cooked, the shishito peppers were wonderfully spicy and the prawn add-on should be non-negotiable. We also had the Teriyaki Lion’s Mane appetizer which was interesting. Nothing to write home to, but worth trying if you haven’t had it before. Normally I’m too full for dessert, but I’m a sucker for Strawberry Rhubarb and their shortcake did NOT disappoint! We had a bonus dessert show up in the form of watermelon sorbet which was the perfect palette cleanser to end the night. If you’re looking for a nice dinner with a great view and excellent service, Fairview does not disappoint!

Google
Views were impeccable and food was delicious! Giving 3 stars because the hostess asked us to look at the menu and confirm we were comfortable with the pricing before we were sat. As a young couple, we felt targeted/uncomfortable being asked this question. Not to mention that we were they only people in the entire restaurant - it was empty. Other than that, the server was very attentive and the drinks were delicious.

Being able to enjoy a delicious meal with a perfect view of Lake Louise and the mountains really added to our overall experience. We had the Burrata, the Bison Tartar, the AAA Angus Beef Tenderloin (medium rare was cooked perfectly), Sorbet & Lemon Tart… For drinks, we had wine, Espresso Martini’s & the Fresco Cocktail. Everything was delicious. Portion sizes were good. The drinks were tasty! The Bison Tartar was the most noteworthy! It’s made table-side which is a pleasant experience. They were alert to allergies that we had at our table and gladly accommodated.

We came for a small bite to eat after checking in at the hotel and to enjoy a bottle of wine. Alex, our server, was amazing! Such a great service, he was super friendly, kind and chatty, he definitely made the experience even better. I totally loved the bison tartare, it was delicious!!! We also had some scallops, that were also tasty but the bison was the best. Drinks were lovely! The restaurant is classy and cute at the same time with amazing views of the lake.

I came with two adults and some children specifically for tea time. At the time of this writing the price for adults to have tea time CAD$ 115. The Fairmont Restaurant manager was willing to seat me and my family, especially given many open tables. However, he insisted that we would have to not only cover the rate for two adults to have teatime, but that at least two of our kids would also have to participate and pay for tea time. I suggested that only 2 adults would participate but he was not interested in seating us. First time for me going to a place where they insisted kids would also have to participate in teatime for our family to enter. We ended up not doing tea time that day.

Reservations made in advance, we came for Afternoon tea to celebrate a special occasion with family. The mountain view ambience, food set and service staffing is 5-star elegance and eloquence. It’s an afternoon tea that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime if they can. Good luck trying to finish every nite, you’ll be happy to try one bite of each serving otherwise the sugar high will set in too quick from the amazing dessert spread. Of the 12 tea choices I’d recommend the surprisingly smooth Egyptian chamomile.

Came here for our honeymoon as part of stay at the Chateau. Menu was expansive and interesting; the restaurant offers elk steak and bison tartar. My SO ordered their elk steak. I ordered three starters (bison tartar, halibut, and avocado/zucchini salad). All our dishes were delicious. Service was good. Only downside is they weren’t able to accommodate our request for a table near the window at time of our reservation.

Yelp
We had our first meal of our trip here. Lovely food, gorgeous views, and fantastic service. Our waiter, Chin, was so helpful and personable. He knew what to recommend and had lots of tidbits to share for new tourists. The hostess (I cannot remember her name but she speaks Spanish as well) helped us get a great table and was also super helpful. The food was good. The bread and butter was an unexpected standout. I had the duck confit. Nicely cooked (though just a tiny bit more than I'd like but still pretty darn good) and my mom loved the scallops. Beautiful sauces and mixes of flavors. Highly recommend. Wish I hadn't been too full to enjoy the gorgeous desserts we saw pass by.

Yelp
For my wife's birthday dinner, I asked the day before that her birthday be noted on the reservation and that the server bring her a birthday dessert. I was told it would not be a problem. The maitre'd said happy birthday to my wife when seating us, but the server did not bring her a birthday dessert or even ask us if we wanted dessert after our meal. I got up after 20 minutes and asked one of the staff to please bring my wife a birthday dessert. More than 25 minutes later (45 minutes after we had finished eating) no one had; so we said we were leaving. They finally brought something (unimpressive) and made excuses as we were walking out the door. The food was ok and the view (like so many views at the hotel) was beautiful. But the poor service ruined what was intended to be a special dinner for my wife.

Yelp
The world-famous Fairmont Château Lake Louise sits right in front of Canada's most stunning glacial lake, Lake Louise--a picture-perfect setting. Afternoon tea here is so popular that it must be booked months in advance, as walk-ins are not accepted. We were glad we had reservations; after enjoying our tea, we could stroll along the lakeshore. The tea service was elegant, with a fragrant creamy Earl Grey--my must-order black tea at any Fairmont--delicate tea sandwiches, warm scones, and delicious pastries, leaving us full and satisfied. After tea, we went canoeing on the emerald waters, the gentle breeze making us appreciate the rare beauty and serenity even more. We ended our trip with unforgettable memories.

Yelp
The place is quite pricy but provides a spectacular view of Lake Louise while dining. We didn't have a reservation at the hotel but we were able to dine in after a bit of a wait. The service was extraordinary and they were very accommodating towards allergies and food restrictions. Prawn Linguine: I was able to get the prawn linguine substituted and made vegetarian. The dish was extremely tasty but a bit creamy and heavy for my preference.

Yelp
Afternoon tea time with a beautiful view of Lake Louise ! I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant for some tea and snacks. The restaurant was elegantly and modernly designed. I loved the atmosphere! We chose the afternoon tea package, which included a glass of champagne (there's an option for non-alcoholic champagne too), your choice of tea (12 different kinds to choose from), and a set of mini sandwiches and desserts. They also offer vegetarian options and a kid-friendly combo. The service was very friendly, and the lake view was breathtaking! Sip on some champagne, enjoy my tea, and have some yummy bites. Afterward, I also walked around the lake to get a closer view. What a lovely time spent here~

Yelp
I would not recommend the beef tenderloin steak. It was not tender like a tenderloin should be. Three of us that ordered. It didn't finish it. Very disappointed. The highlight of the meal was the chocolate mousse dessert. It was very good.

Yelp
What an amazing place to have dinner! So happy that we stayed at the Fairmont and just go downstairs for dinner. We went to Walliser Stube before and wanted to try something new, plus WS was closed. *They did have the WS special at this restaurant Love the whole interior decor and staff were very attentive. They have two area to this place - lounge/bar and restaurant. You don't have to be super dressy, but it's not a velvet pant suit kind of attire hehe. Everyone was very attentive regardless if they're our waiter or not. We were served with warm bread and soft butter (soooooo goood) after ordering. I love oysters, so I order half dozen of PEI (Prince Edward Island) oysters. I had it all to myself! Can't have it without any condiments, it was very ocean-y. The classic mignonette was good and the classic lemon and tapatio was good. Although, I did have one oyster that was small and a bit dried up. I was sad. I had the Lobster Risotto and it was done with barley, which I love! The texture of barley always pleases the palette, but what's more important is that it was done thoroughly. None were not cooked enough or too mushy. Traditional risotto rice is always a hit and miss for me. What surprised me was the lobster, it was the size of a small lobster. It definitely tasted fresh and rewarding. NY Striploin was done absoooooo-lutely PERFECT!! Medium cooked and it was so tendered and flavorful. Served with potato puree, green peppercorn butter and red wine jus. *chef's kiss* I asked for a tiny bite just to confirm the "perfection". It was yum! We also ordered a side of fries to snack on. They got some good fries. Everything was great! The best thing was going to campfire s'mores outside and then stargazing outside, then back up to our room. Love love love it!

Yelp
The service and the views are amazing. The tea nibbles were fine, high quality but nothing out of the ordinary. The wine was surprising! Delightful sparkling rosé from the finger lakes. The tea itself was good. I enjoyed the special oolong. Definitely recommend for a relaxing afternoon.

Yelp
Wow, this place is phenomenal! Located right next to Lake Louise, my partner and I were excited to try this place out for High Tea after a hike to the Big Beehive. We felt severely underdressed, but the wait staff were very kind and friendly about it all (I am assuming this happens more often than not!). The views were amazing from all aspects of the restaurant. We indulged in the most wonderful high tea experience- a bit pricey, but so worth it for the ambiance, quality and service. I am still dreaming about the blueberry scones!!! Buttery and soft perfection. We were also celebrating my birthday as well, so this was such a wonderful experience. The entire staff made me feel so loved and welcome! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
After reading wonderful reviews of the High Tea at the Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise, we figured we would be fools not to try it out ourselves. The Fairmont Chateau on Lake Louise itself was really grand. It has a classic/old money feel to it. The Fair View restaurant is located next to the hotel bar, with a giant window view of beautiful Lake Louise.  When we checked in for High Tea, our friendly server lead us to our table, which was comfortable and spacious. Every table had a lake view, so it doesn't really matter if you don't get a "window seat." We opted for the standard Afternoon Tea ($105/person in Canadian dollars) with a few sparkling wine options to choose from. Our server, Liz, was very friendly and knowledgable about all of the sparkling wine and tea selections. We got to sample four different sparkling wine options including rose and local wines and they were all delicious. For tea, she recommended the Chai and we were glad for the recommendation, because it was rich and full of body with cream and a little sugar. The tea went great with the snacks to come. The food arrived on a three tier tray, with savory sandwiches on the bottom, fluffy scones in the middle, and sweet desserts on top. We worked our way up from the bottom and everything was delicious. My personal favorite were the scones, cucumber sandwiches, custard tart, and the chocolate mousse. We didn't know that we could take things to-go until the end of the meal, and wished we thought about it earlier so we didn't stuff ourselves to the brim. My only complaint was the rest room situation. With all the fine food and drinks, you'd think the guests would need to use the restroom. When I went to use it, located right outside the entrance, we (me and another high tea guest) were "blocked" by hotel guests because "this restroom is for hotel guests only". That was really annoying because we WERE the paying guests at the restaurant. I wish they would have a dedicated restroom for the high tea guests to avoid any issues with uppity hotel guests.  Overall, we really enjoyed the experience. The setting was beautiful, the food was great, and the scenery was amazing. It would be a great spot to be after a long hike and/or for some people watching or scenery viewing.

Yelp
Of all the restaurants at Chateau Lake Louise I would say this one is far out the best. The best service. The best ambience the best food. I had the steak tartare and Elk. My gf had the Bison. The deserts looked amazing. Overall this should be the go to for food at the Chateau imo

Yelp
Four of us had High Tea on June 6th at noon. The overall experience was wonderful!! The view of the Lake from the Fairview Bar area was majestic and breathtaking. The pastry selection was delicious and imaginative. Making it even more enjoyable was that they were able to prepare a gluten-free pastry selection for my wife. A truly unique experience; not to be missed. Enthusiastically recommended and we would return. Emily (our server) was personable, prompt, informative and a wonderful representative of the Fairmont.

Yelp
We did the afternoon tea time here and it was fabulous!!! An experience I would absolutely recommend as the views were gorgeous of Lake Louise!! It's about $100 per person and you will be stuffed after this! Our waiter Malik was wonderful!! He made the experience very delightful. We loved it here for a day trip.

Yelp
Amazing location for high tea--the views are breathtaking and the overall experience was top notch. The table setting was lovely, the service excellent, the tea was delicious (our table tried a whole range including earl gray, mint, Darjeeling, kid's bubble gum tea) and the food was mostly very good although a bit spotty as some of the mini-sandwiches were amazing (croissant sandwich) and some less so (tomato sandwich) and some in-between (cucumber sandwich) and some desserts were better than others, scones were five stars. Overall highly recommend as a memorable high tea experience in beautiful Lake Louise.

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday for afternoon tea and were impressed by the ambiance, service and afternoon tea set! We made a reservation ahead of time and upon checking, the hostess let us know that if we could wait ~10 min they would have a window table open. I definitely appreciated the offer and of course we were willing to wait for a table with a close view of Lake Louise. The afternoon tea experience comes with your own individual pot of tea along with a three tier savory and sweet set. We got creamy earl grey and the madame butterfly green tea and both were lovely and super fragrant. The high tea set came with a tier of scones (butter and blueberry), finger sandwiches, and sweets. We loved the scones which were warm, buttery and flaky and paired perfectly with the jams and Devonshire cream. I loved that the jam and marmalade weren't super sweet. The savory sandwiches were my favorite - the cucumber and egg salad, lobster mayo and and broccoli mousse were all amazing. This was probably the best savory selection I've had in western-style high tea. The desserts in general were a bit too sweet for my liking. From the cookie to the macron and cake, they were all just ok and we were pretty full at this point so I wish we would have gotten these to-go rather than trying to taste them all. I did see a lot of other guests leave with to-go boxes which would have been a better move. Overall the experience was fantastic and although it's pricey at $75 per person, considering the price of restaurants in Lake Louise, I'd say it's worth the cost.

Yelp
The afternoon tea is an experience, but it's a great wind down activity after a walk or hike around Lake Louise! My party had a reservation for 12:15pm today, but they were able to seat us earlier. This is a preset menu, but each person gets to select a pot of tea, which they can refill with hot water. Each tea bag is supposedly good for about two to three steeps. I got the a very light ice wine flavored tea (no alcohol) and my party also tried a creamy Earl grey and the special tea of the day, which was a chai tea. All the teas were flavorful and very fragrant. In terms of the little bites and finger food, my favorite was definitely the scones with the jams/spreads. The scones were flaky, crumbly, and warm. The savory plates (middle tier) were decent. The top tier of dessert sweets were as expected as well. It's an experience to be at the Fairmont to have tea and the and the atmosphere is airy and pleasant. It can be pricy for the experience, but it is fun! Just a tip - If you would like a window seat with the view, definitely book for an earlier time. It's first come first serve based on availability and earlier reservations get priority.

Yelp
I came here for dinner, and service was excellent. I had the beef tenderloin which came with a potato puree, and I also added the mushroom caps and mac and cheese as my sides. My beef tenderloin was pretty good, but some bites were a little tough. I really loved the mushroom caps, and I thought the mac and cheese was good, but it could have used a little more seasoning or perhaps a stronger cheese.

Yelp
This is a lovely restaurant that's housed in an absolutely gorgeous hotel sitting right along Lake Louise, which is one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is very good and the cocktails were also quite tasty. My wife has mussels and I had a burger with a side salad and we both enjoyed our meal. You can park in the parking garage and have your parking validated if you eat here, so it's a good way to be able to see Lake Louise too if you've missed one of the shuttles from town. Our service was good here as well and it's a nice restaurant overall. We would definitely come here again.

Yelp
Came here for dinner since we were told that it's one of the best restaurants and unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Although we sat by the window, it was dark so we didn't see anything lol We got Lobster Fettuccine, Prime Rib, Seared Foie Gras, and 2 cocktails (Fairview 75 and Louise). The best part was the prime rib, it had the perfect ratio of fat and meat. The Lobster Fettuccine was so small and filled with just veggies. It didn't taste good at all. The lobster was overcooked too. The foie gras was good and tasty. The cocktails were very pretty looking, definitely a great representation of Lake Louise. Service was really slow. It took our server 25 minutes to take our order and another 20 minutes for our food to come. Overall, for $220 totally not worth it. We were still left feeling hungry after our dinner that we ordered fries in our hotel room lol

Jim F.

Yelp
Service was kind but slow. Great ambiance, views but the food was marginal. The tartare was rich but good.

Yelp
We came here for the high noon tea. We were staying at the Fairmont hotel and ate at every restaurant on site. This was my favorite meal by far. We made our reservation a few months in advance so I was wondering if it would live up to the hype. I ordered the gluten free option and my husband got the regular option. They separated our food towers and that made me feel better about their knowledge of gluten free cross contamination. I was concerned the gluten free options might be lame but they were pretty tasty. There were many tea options available. The food was good and had unusual food combinations that I enjoyed. At first I was worried with the small portions that I would still be hungry but I ended up boxing up my deserts to go. It was pricey at $70 CAD a person but the view made it worthwhile. The staff was funny and tried to seem interested in us which we enjoyed.

Yelp
The Fairview provided us with an elegant light lunch before an afternoon hike. Note that they don't take reservations for lunch (even for hotel guests), so would recommend stopping by to put you name in ~30 mins to an hour before you actually want to eat. We came on a Wednesday afternoon at about 1pm and had to wait nearly 30 mins (even though the hostess said it would be a max of 20, and they weren't very busy). We ordered 3 glasses of the local rose upon being seated, but it didn't come until after our door arrived, which was disappointing. The rose was good, but nothing spectacular. Our server was friendly and I'm glad he recommended the salmon dish to me when I was between that and the ahi tuna. The salmon was excellent and was cooked perfectly. The chicken salad and other summer salad were on the simpler side. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which weren't on the menu but were delicious. Overall, I'd recommend dining here for the upscale atmosphere and stunning views of Lake Louise!

Yelp
What a stunning place to have afternoon tea! I definitely recommend including this experience as part of your tour of Lake Louise for a full experience. We were not staying at the hotel, but was glad they took reservations from guests. It must have been busy season as they were out of a few teas, but we still quite enjoyed the teas we chose. The stars of the experience were the scones and the accompaniments that came with it. Among the finger sandwiches, the lobster roll was my favorite bite. Of the desserts, the salted caramel choux was delightfully airy and creamy. The dark chocolate mousse is for sincere chocolate lovers!

Kevin L.

Yelp
We ordered the steak medium rare and it was over cooked, felt like we were gnawing on dry meat. It was such a horrible experience we didn't even want to complain. We told the waiter about it and he was nice enough to comp us a glass of wine but this restaurant is not great ... at least don't bother ordering the steak.

Jeff B.

Yelp
We were expecting the food to be outstanding. Our entrees were $57 and $48. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food. If you're charging $57 for an entree, it better be good. The service, staff friendliness and ambience is 5 stars.

Yelp
We decided to celebrate a birthday with High Tea for lunch. Excellent food and great service from our server, Florence. We had the vegetarian option. Could not finish all the food. Highly recommended.

Food great. Highly recommend beef tenderloin. Other entrees are so so. Would not recommend to get anything else.

Yelp
Never been for high tea before. It's offered at the Fairview daily (12:00pm to 2:30pm) inside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Afternoon high tea is $75.00/person. They're very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Portions aren't large, but that's high tea in a nutshell. - Tea - their feature tea was masala chai. Our party also tried their creamy earl grey, Liza Hill darjeeling, goddess oolong and Ontario icewine. Teas were enjoyable. - Warm scones and condiments - Saskatoon berry and lemon white chocolate. The lemon curd was my favourite. Strawberry jam was fine, marmalade a touch bitter and Devonshire cream didn't add any flavour. - Finger sandwiches - broccoli mousse was enjoyable (even had a surprising kick), oven dried tomato with ratatouille puree, togarashi seared tuna, roasted wagyu beef and lobster saffron mayo with lotus root. Lobster was everyone's favourite bite. - Sweets - pistachio cherry choux, chocolate cake, spice latte delice, macaron (salted caramel) and chestnut praline basket. Desserts were passable. - Cheeseburger & french fries ($18.00) - my bro in law was still hungry. They were nice enough to let him order off the kids menu. It came with a red velvet cupcake. Nothing blew me out of the water. High tea here is for the experience and views. If you've got $75.00 to blow, then by all means.

Yelp
Very good service. Food was very good when executed properly. My first dish (bison and elk combo) came out room temperature. They quickly replaced the dish with my second choice, the filet, which was excellent. I almost never return food, can't remember the last time I did, but when you're paying $90 for a plate it should be hot.....that's my 2 cents, or rather $260 as it were. Other than the food not being hot on round 1 it was a good experience.

Yelp
Every place inside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is beautiful, and this location is no less attractive. The service was great and the waiters were wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the food was overpriced for what you receive. However you are at the Fairmont so I suppose it's expected. We ordered an appetizer, the ravioli, Brussels sprouts, and fries. The Brussels sprouts and fries were good, but the ravioli was a weird combo with white sauce and edamame together. Might be someone's thing, but not mine. Wish the menu had more options.

Krystal G.

Yelp
First off, Olena is the sweetest and best server that we've had our entire trip at multiple restaurants so far. So genuine and made sure we enjoyed our dinner. Next; the food. I have no idea how this place has such low reviews. The food is amazing! Zero room for bad reviews and negative thoughts on it. Wine was great and their bread and butter, chefs kiss. Try the elk steak. You won't regret. It's so tender, you barely need to chew it.

Yelp
Started with the beefsteak tartare and scallop crudo. Both were excellent choices-- I liked the tartare more but my wife really loved the scallops. We split the lamb chops with an enhancement of bone marrow and a side of fries. Super crispy fries. The bone marrow and lamb chops were both really delicious, but I wish there was more bone marrow in the bone. Ended up ordering the duck wings and mushrooms side afterwards too, and both were outstanding. The duck had a sweet taste to it and is similar to an asian dish. -Great view of the mountain next door -Superb service -Elegant and beautiful decor

Yelp
We were here for Afternoon Tea $75 pp. The best part was the beautiful bright room with large arched windows overlooking Lake Louise and all the ice skating. The presentation and service was excellent. They gave a large selection of teas. You get to pick one. The warm scones and toppings are the best part of the meal. The savory portions were tiny. They are more canapés instead of real finger sandwiches. They did have more expensive ingredients including lobster and caviar but they were all cold including the Wagyu beef and seemed like they may have been sitting out a while. The desserts were very good and plenty and we ended up taking half of it to the hotel to enjoy later. I would recommend this for the special experience of being here at Lake Louise.
google avatar

Vonny C.

Yelp
Beautiful breathtaking views, great service, extensive tea selection, and plenty of unique savory and sweet small bites. The afternoon tea menu was $75pp including one tea selection and one serving of food per person. They had a few selections of sparkling wine which were an additional cost. We ordered glass of Canadian sparkling. We enjoyed both teas that we got and it was nice to have the tea timer! Overall, my favorite part of this experience was the view of Lake Louise from the restaurant. I would recommend stopping by if you are here for a visit!

Yelp
Friendly and attentive staff . Our server Rex was great !I had the beef tenderloin. It was cooked perfect and served with delicious mashed potatoes . Our table started out with a few amazing appetizers that I would definitely recommend. Save room for dessert ! Included some photos of what we loved ! The view from our table tops the evening with Lake Louise.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with beautiful views. Their lamp chops are great and I love their old fashioned and the dessert. The staff is friendly and polite. Pick a window seat, you can enjoy the food and the view of Lake Louise at the same time. Definitely worth it.

Yelp
Came here during our visit to the breathtaking Lake Louise. Although we were not guests of the hotel we were able to self park our car in the hotel garage and walk around the lake a bit before our reservation for High Tea. What a beautiful hotel and room with large windows that enhance the beauty of the lake and grounds. The service was outstanding and the offerings were a set menu of scones, gorgeous finger sandwiches and pastries. The tea offerings were top of the line and they were described to us perfectly. Must make a reservation at least a month ahead. One annoying thing, however, was the number of people who were taking pictures and video taping the experience. They were so rude disturbing the couples who were sitting near the windows. I suggest a rule be made that no cell phones during High Tea- I think that if Queen Elizabeth knew of this behavior she certainly would frown upon these narcissistic social media types! !

Yelp
One of the most beautiful restaurant views you'll ever get. Located in the Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise, we rolled in to this super fancy restaurant, looking like full-on casual hikers. Although the lake was swarming with tourists, the restaurant wasn't very crowded and had open tables. We got sat right at a massive window overlooking the turquoise lake and dramatic mountains. There were velvet chairs, marble tables, and a pretty chandelier in the room. Our server wasn't super friendly (maybe because we weren't dressed up?) but he got the job done. I had an incredible seared salmon that fell apart in my mouth and had a yummy sauce on top. Super fresh. We loved the view and the food fueled us up for our two-hour teahouse hike we embarked on after. Delicious.

Yelp
first time trying afternoon tea , worst experience , i think i would ever be back or recommend to a friend . afternoon tea food were not prepared fresh . and everything except scones were too salty . i cannot believe they even sell it. they should try before serving also the plates before serving were dirty and i asked one of the server to change them . they did not apologize for it being dirty. the service was awful they didnt even explain their food which was what and i had to ask for the menu . view is worth but i would not recommend

Yelp
The kitchen makes no missteps with an eclectic and interesting menu and the service is gracious to a fault (bravo, Alex). Perhaps not a bargain option, but certainly worthwhile. Duck wings, deconstructed lettuce wedge salad, the pate and the cold soup make a formidable small plate menu an excellent option.

Yelp
Just FYI restaurants here are for guests only - at least when we were here they had a sign on. I asked them if they take walk ins, they looked at the restaurant (empty) said"um sure I think we can fit you two". Great decor, fast service and the food were actually tasty! We just got burger with fries, salad and a chicken club sandwich. Reasonable price.

Yelp
One of the coolest bars we've been too. Loved the views and vibes here. We only ever went lunch here, so can speak to the dinner service, but we had a great experience both times we went for lunch and drinks. Drinks are great, but they can also make you anything you like. Lunch at the bar didn't require a reservation so we just walked up both times, no issues getting a table. The BLTA, Bison Ravioli, and prawn linguine were all wonderful. The BLTA was huge and could easily be shared. The pasta dishes were not as big which was nice!

Yelp
We went for high tea on a Friday. We made reservations. Service was decent and our server was friendly. We got a table not by the window directly but faced a wall with some view of the window. We chose a tea from the menu. We understood from our server that they are from David's Tea and can be purchased online. The presentation of the biscuits and sandwiches and dessert was great. The taste of the food was ok and didn't really stand out. The best part of the food was the biscuits as they had fresh strawberry jelly with fresh cream.

Yelp
Very good place to have a afternoon tea. Nice view of Lake Louise. Staffs are friendly. You need to make a reservation online.

Yelp
Came here for the view & it was beautiful! The tea time experience was ok, especially for the price. Scones and tea were great but the rest of the sandwiches and desserts were mediocre.

Yelp
Came here for high tea. The biscuits and the finger sandwiches were very good, fresh and interesting use of ingredients. The desserts were a little underwhelming, nothing was wrong but nothing in particular stood out either, which is disappointing at this price point.

Yelp
Since we stayed in Chateau Lake Louise, it made sense for us to dine here and we had about 4 meals here. I had made reservations in advance, so waiting for seating was not an issue and we were always seated almost immediately after checking in for our reservation. You do have the option of paper menu or QR code at the table. With the children's menu, they give you a paper menu and the option of individual packets of wikki stix for kids to play with. (FYI: kids can eat at 50% off the adult menu items instead of eating off the kids menu). Kids meal menu include drink, main course, veggies, and dessert (cookie with candy), kids portions are a decent size too. If your kid is 5 years old and under, they eat free (makes sense cuz my 4 year old never finished a meal there cuz the portion is more suited to older kids). As for the adult food, it's definitely premium price, but well worth it and slightly beyond normal fare with options (duck, venison, lamb, wagyu beef, etc.). We also had the afternoon tea (I'm glad it's not limited to weekends here!). All the food was absolutely marvellous, the presentation was stunning for both the food and the pottery pieces they were served on, my words and pictures do not do them justice...and it was very filling, we needed takeout boxes for the kids desserts and their high tea treats. Staff were very attentive and friendly and the views of lake Louise from this restaurant are lovely. (Tip: if you dine as a couple, you'll likely get a table directly in front of the window to enjoy the view). This restaurant definitely left a wonderful impression on us and I would recommend eating here, especially for the experience of afternoon tea.

Yelp
Newly reopened after major renovation. Main corses all very good! Starters and desert not worth the price but good. We paid $180 for 2 with no boose. Service outstanding. Views outstanding. RSVP are a MUST!
