I had a really frustrating and disappointing experience with Fairway Packing. I placed an order for a 55-day dry-aged ribeye and coordinated with Ken, who told me when it would be ready. I made the long drive from Jackson to Grosse Pointe to pick it up after finally getting off work. When I arrived, I was told they were closing and delivery wouldn’t happen. I asked why I was told to come then, and was told he might be able to make it in an hour — so I waited.
When I finally received the meat, none of it was trimmed, and all the bark was left on. For something that was supposed to be a premium product and service, the whole experience was extremely disappointing. The communication was poor, and the end result was not what I expected from a company with this reputation. I had guest coming over I am super disappointed never again
