Fajita Pete's - Spring

We have ordered fajitas from here over last four years and to be picked up Christmas Eve. However to be notified, an 1.5 hrs (hour and an half) before the store closed on 12/23/24 is unacceptable. While the staff was somewhat accommodating they could not complete our entire order. No Chicken, No salsa and the chips that appear to have been in warmer since the store opened , brown and broken) has caused enough concern, epically when the GM apparently left moments to our arrival. After a 15% coupon on our next order was given to us; which is only a 5% in addition to a promotional coupon, at the register…has prompted our decision to move to a larger restaurants, such as Lupe tortilla and/or Pappasitos who can meet their commitments. I hope you (Fajita Pete) continues to be able to stay in operation, my trust in Fajita Pete’s has been put in jeopardy and not sure I can trust any future orders can be met. I wished the employees a merry Christmas as I know they did their best, not sure about their upper management and corporate team. My recommendations would be consider your options, on who can deliver and trust with your family meals in holiday senecios. Good place if you want to grab some food and take it home with you. We went to this place thinking it was a full Mexican restaurant and were surprised by how small it was on the inside. We brought our two kids and took up almost all the seating in the place. Food and margaritas were decent for the price. Kids plate had plenty of food for the kids to enjoy. Next time I will take it to go or have it delivered. The cashier said they even deliver margaritas!!

Their fajita is amazing! The enchiladas are amazing and the margaritas are the best. It’s fresh and very tasty. Go try them out!!

Personally these are my favorite tasting fajitas in town. Fajitas for 4 covers dinner (family of 4) and lunch the next day (for 2). I’ve used them for catering as well and the service is 5-star, Nesia is quick to respond and easy to set up catering events.

The location is under new ownership! The food is great, and the amount of food you get for cost is perfect. The chicken is seasoned really well and I love their queso. PS the margaritas are yummy too!

I had an amazing catering experience for my twins baptism/birthday party this weekend. Kirstin had our order ready upon arrival and was able to take care of a last minute order request. Her customer service was amazing and she truly made our experience so pleasant. I highly recommend this place for any catering needs you may have or for some really good fajita!

Ordered online for delivery. Called to make sure it went thru as just a few days earlier this location was not available on the online app. When I called they could not find where I had ordered. Girl said to hold on and manager would talk to me, then was promptly hung up on. Called back spoke with manager Mckayla (I might have gotten that name incorrect and or misspelled it) she was very apologetic and asked for order number which I had in my email confirmation and found it and said it would be ready asap. I decided to go get it instead of waiting on delivery which we requested. Once I got home I didnt feel we got all of our order, but will be going to speak with them to clarify. Manager did give a tip to order at least 2 hours in advance on weekends. The food was very good (guac was delicious, shrimp were large and tasted fresh, and beef was seasoned well.). The manager was very apologetic and looked to get my order right which being a new place is all I am looking for at the moment as I'm sure they are working out demand and definetly could use help with said demand. Only reason i give it a 4 is for the experience, which I assume will improve and was not to point where we wont give them benefit if the doubt and eat there again soon. I would reccomend, but caution lead time if you want it delivered, I did see on their app where you can place it in advance for a specific time which I will try next time.

Came into order. It was 750. Guy told me they are not taking any more orders and they close in 8 min. Their door actually says 830. And sign is lit up with “open”. What kind of service is that? No one told you to clean up early. If you close at 8, then you should be open until 8.

Yummmy. I have eight here in store one time and then I ordered for delivery. The food is pretty good.

There is truly nothing negative that we can say about Fajita Pete's. A friend gifted our large family with a dinner from Fajita Pete's when my mom died a few months ago. it was the best fajitas we have ever had. Tonight, that same friend offered to bring us dinner because I'm sick. She sent Venmo for our dinner, and of course we had to order Fajita Pete's. It's not just fast, it's delicious and has become a family favorite. Even my picky children love FP's (and that's saying a lot!) The staff is always friendly, and the food is the best around. We will 100% be back.

Fajitas are always really good. The chicken is a good quality. You really can't beat the prices for what you're getting.

Fajita Pete's in Spring catered my sons wedding reception and the food was amazing! Kirstin helped me with all of the ordering and she was so helpfully and honest guiding me on what I needed for the group I had attending. Thank you for making my son's reception even better!

Ordered my food at 1:14pm didn't received it until 1:40pm. Also lots of flies. Ordered Togo for one person.

not sure if Fajita Pete's is fast food or not. regardless everything is good from accuracy of the order, reason time and quantity. this is our go to tex-mex place. if you haven't tried FJ's go as soon as you can.

This was surprisingly really good!! When you walk in it smells like grilled meats which was very appetizing. The chicken fajita for 2 was a perfect amount for 3-4 tacos. The beans and rice were good and of course the chicken and onions were grilled perfectly. My only complaint would be it's very much set up for to-go type of food, they only have disposable flatware. It almost felt like an inconvenience for us to be eating inside. The price was a bit high too. I wanted to try the burrito but didn't want to pay for it. The fajita combo was the best deal. Because of the price we probably won't visit very often but I'm glad we know it's good now!

Disappointed or somehow fooled is how I feel with my order at fajitas Pete Ordered a fajita FOR TWO Which in the picture looked decent size When I received everything is half of what appears in the picture All trays are half of the ones in the picture Not even close the amount of tortillas 8 beef fajita strips 8 chicken strips 4 tortillas Not a single napkins or forks I paid a total of $62 including drinks and delivery I wonder if fajita for 2 I really for 1 and it cost $32 then fajita for 1 is for a kid ???? This exactly is how you don't get costumers to come back Food was OKAY !

I downloaded their app and it was so easy to order. Delivery was great! Food was fresh and delicious! It is a great go-to for flavorful Mexican food! I wish I would've taken pictures but we scarfed it down too fast!

I absolutely loved their food! Wow!! The staff was so nice when I did a take-out, they even gave me a margarita sample while I waited. So delicious and I'll be ordering delivery and taking advantage of their half off margarita Mondays from now on!!

We often get fajitas to go and eat them at home. The restaurant is always quite busy. The fajitas are amazing! I have never been disappointed. I would eat there more often if it was a little less expensive. However, it is worth the money for a splurge. I haven't eaten in the restaurant so I can't comment on the ambience. It seems the majority of their business is take away/to go. Although I haven't ordered the margaritas for a while, they were always delicious!

Food was good, delivery was fast. You could get this amount of food elsewhere for a child at children's prices, it's a girl dinner sized portion but a little disappointing for grown adults

The best thing I can say about this location was the girl who brought the food to my car was nice. We ordered the fajitas for 4 and medium queso and the portion sizes were a joke. You can go to Pappasitos and get fajitas for 2 with more food, better flavor, and for the same price. It wasn't the portion size that has us so frustrated but the quality of the food. The refried beans were so watered down you could NOT eat them with a fork! The salsa and queso were watered down as well, and they use so much lime when seasoning the fajita meat, it's really the only thing you can taste. Also every single tortilla had holes in the middle. Every. Single. One. Isn't super conducive to making a fajita is it? This was my first time ordering from this Fajita Pete's in Spring, but we won't be back. If y'all are ever in Cypress, give the Fajita Pete's there a try. It is far superior.

Our family ordered the fajitas for four. The fajitas were as good as I have had anywhere and the portion actually fed four people. Besides the food being good at a reasonable price, the manager we met when we picked up our food was very friendly. We will be back for sure!

One of favorite lunch spots in the area. The homemade tortillas are awesome. The fajitas are season and customer service is top notch. Big vouch from me!

As others have said - meat portions are laughably small for the price being paid. Pico and Guac were fine. The Queso tasted fine, but had the consistency of maple syrup. The recipe has waaay too much milk. Same with the salsa. All liquid. Very little in the way of vegetables are involved. It's like something a cheap New Yorker would do. The entire point of a place like this is to transition more of the sales price into the product and profit, since you're not paying to maintain a full restaurant pad. It's clear they've chosen to double dip on profit at the expense of the quality of food. It's sad. The concept is great. The execution just misses the mark.

I am giving a two star based on what I feel was lack of value. That being said there are several positives here: food was tasty, convenient and order was up quick and they deliver food and margaritas. Now the price, very small portion which they say feeds 1-2 for $20. IMO a regular Mexican restaurant has more bang for your buck. Also huge negative for me is that they serve everything in plastic and styrofoam. Not very earth friendly. Staff was nice enough.

Food is always great. However, be careful of delivery drivers. Nailih delivered my food this evening. She failed to deliver ring the doorbell or knock on the door and just left my food sitting on the front door mat. Good thing I was watching for it to be delivered, otherwise it would have been left to get cold.

Tried ordering at 8:45 on a Friday. They close at 9 but "wanted to get out a little early" they were already closed up. Called promised free order, took them up on it. Foods bland, meat rice beans, all bland. Chicken ... dried out and tough. Salsa watery, in addition to the portions being shameful. Local mex spots charge a fraction for fajitas and taste so much better. This place better step it up if it's going to survive around here. We take mex-food serious.

Food was very good and the service was great also. My first time trying a Fajita Pete's and I would definitely recommend this location. Eric took great care of us and he was very friendly and provided fantastic service!!

I don't even know where to start. I cannot remember the last time I wrote a bad review. Some businesses have bad days . I also realize that There is a lot of stress during this crisis . But for one person to spend $20 to feed one person ; they should at least get something edible . The portions were tiny . I had no expectations of a Kings meal . But this was ridiculous. There was just a pinch more lettuce and cheese , before I took this pic. It was like 2 tablespoons of each .seriously???? The charro beans had no flavor whatsoever. So that left the tortillas , meat , and rice . The rice , was rice . The chicken/beef was okay ,I guess,but again small portions compared to their competitors. The tortillas were not bad , except that there were only 2, which I guess does fit their portions . One tortilla had 3 holes up the middle , ranging from quarter size , to half dollar size . How did they not notice that ??? Which made it pretty much worthless to roll up your fajitas in . It may as well have been a salad , and a side salad at that . The meal was disgusting. I may as well have flushed $20 down the toilet .

Went to fajita Pete's ordered from familia bundles, The fajita trio Should have chicken,beef, and shrimp fajitas, on abed of grilled onions and topped with a jalapeño. Served with a side of Pete's famous, creamy white quest, shredded cheese. Pick de Gallo, lettuce and guacamole. Includes beans and rice, chips and salsa. Plus warm churros. Waited inside then order was did not look in bag to make sure everything was there which I should not have to do went home opened bag to start eating only thing there was meat tortillas and chips nothing else. Called and they come back and we will make it right or refund our money, I made trip back to get the rest of our order. Problem is that I should not have had to inspect the bag to make sure my order was all there and now I have used my gas and time to complete an order that should have been completed the first time not the second time. Moral of story is always check your order to make sure it is complete.

Fajitas for 3-4? This is all you get for $40! Took it to go and didn't realize this the portions were so small. I'll go to a regular restaurant and order from them next time. Will never go back!

I love to support businesses that opens in my neighborhood and I am so disappointed after giving them many tries. Their soft opening was really terrible, they had me wait almost an hour for my order then forget to give me rice and beans with my order. I gave them another try and this time, all is good! Tonight I get old rice that is so hard I can't even chew it so it goes in the trash. Someone help this location get it right! The potential is there but whoever is running this location is doing a poor job letting their kitchen save old food to recycle them because now you've lost my business. Won't be going there again... Gonna wait til chipotle and BBQ place to open in the same parking lot

I order a chicken quesadilla and 2 tacos and paid $30 bucks for those two items and extra sour cream, no beans no rice. Food tasted good but for the price go else where

We tried Fajita Pete's and really enjoyed it! 4 stars only because of the cost--it's a little costly for a mainly take-out/delivery place. (1 pound mixed fajitas, a tea, and a piece of tres leches was $45 before tip.) They have about 8-10 tables if you'd like to dine in (which we did), and they provide full service. Michelle helped us, and she was awesome! (5 stars for service for sure!). The food was really good! The chips were thin and crispy, salsa is heated, white queso was delicious, refried beans were better than the rice, and the tres leches--whoa. We got it to-go, and I really wish my husband and I had not been sharing. It was yummy! Also, if management/owners read this -- I want to say I was really impressed with the staff. A lot of times you see staff behind the counter goofing off while waiting for orders or something to do, but everyone seemed to be working hard and/or finding some way to help. Michelle was busy at one point, and a delivery driver waiting on an order saw we'd finished, so he came and cleaned our table off for us. (He was young and no one told him to do it, which impressed me! Unfortunately, I didn't get his name!) Overall, the team was helpful and friendly, which is sometimes worth more than anything. Definitely give Fajita Pete's a try! Again, it's a bit on the pricey side (in my opinion), but really tasty. We will be back!

We decided to try this place after a wonderful recommendation from a close friend who lives in the area. Service and food was great!! We had chicken fajitas for 2 which was probably enough for 3 and mixed daquiris (mango/ strawberry) DELISH!!! Tortillas are made fresh as well. They also offer delivery, which I will definitely use when I move into my new home close by

Swung by for lunch and ate there. It was fantastic! Great food and new owners were there and super nice! We had the $9.99 deals; beef tacos Al carbon, chicken flautas & chicken quesadillas- great deal! We are all stuffed! I love that they have margaritas to go too! We'll definitely be back!

The quality of food is really good! The prices are reasonable. Their delivery service is quite slow so plan accordingly. I'd recommend picking it up if you have the choice. Nonetheless, we've used them 4+ times now... consistently good!

We randomly ordered here for delivery. Delivery was quick. I wasn't expecting this place to be any good. So I was pleasantly surprised how great their protein were! We got the beef and chicken fajitas. The beef was shockingly not chewy and very tender. Loved that it had a tangy flavor to it. The chicken was also really tasty and well seasoned. Both protein had a very nice grill flavor to it. The down side, they only have us 4 tortillas for the "2 people" meal. Also, their refried bean were very watery. Way too loose. I'd still order from them again if I ever craved for fajitas.

The food isn't worth the money. The staff is rude. It is a very mediocre place. The portions are small as well.

I would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for their pricing and portions. I called a few days ago to order their fajitas for 3-4 and was told they only have it for 4 now (not 3-4). I was only ordering for my husband and I but wanted leftovers for myself for lunch the next day. I went ahead and stuck with fajitas for 4 and at that point then figured we could both eat the leftovers for dinner the next day. I ordered combo chicken, beef, and veggies and added a medium queso. It came out to $68 which is definitely pricey for the type of place it is, but I wouldn't have been as upset if the portions were appropriate. I wish I had taken a picture of what we received. It most definitely was not enough meat, beans, and rice for 4! My husband and I both ate normal sized portions for dinner and all that was left was enough for me to have lunch the next day. If it were still the feeds 3-4 and a little less in price, I wouldn't complain, but it was solidly supposed to feed 4 and definitely should have at that price and for the quick, take out style food that it is. Don't get me wrong, it all tasted great! No complaints there, but you don't get what you pay for. I just can't justify spending that when I just want some simple takeout. If I'm going to spend that plus not at least get what it's claiming to feed, then I would rather go out to a sit down dinner at Papasitos, and get fajitas, queso, and margaritas for not that much more. For this reason, we will be sticking to local Mexican restaurants for takeout.

All is perfect except the $$$ relative to the portion size. I really love the food, we see they use quality ingredients and the seasoning is the exact way I like it. I will be going back but I could come more if they were able to get the prices down a bit.

Overpriced for what you get. Staff were apologetic for having to charge for every little thing where in a restaurant setting for the same amount of money the sides came with as well as tortillas...i tried 2 times and both had the same results.... overpriced take away. A shame, they could have a gold mine if it was priced right.

I wanted to try this place because we are new to the area. I wasn't as impressed as I would have liked to been. We ordered the enchiladas plate, beef tacos and sopapillas. The enchiladas were super small, not a lot of meat, and a lack of flavor. The bottom portion of one of them was so hard I couldn't eat it. The tacos were okay, the meat has a lot of flavor but it's really chewy. Also, the tortillas are super thick not the homemade texture I'm used to. Finally, the sopapillas were more like fried tortillas chips, they didn't have a puff or texture other than crunchy. However, the caramel sauce was amazing! I'm not sure if we would try it again, overall it was okay just not for me.

My husband and son waited 52 min for their food, as they were waiting another couple was seated by them and they received their order of fajitas, my son and husband only ordered tacos and quesadillas and still hadn't received their food, they ended up leaving without getting their food, and it wasn't even busy!!!
