Where To Eat And Drink Around Harvard

"Unfortunately, Boston isn’t really a late-night town. But we do have the Falafel Corner. This tiny take-out spot in the middle of the square is open till 3am seven nights a week, so there’s no question that it’s going to be your late-night drunk food of choice. But you don’t need to wait until you’re filled with light beer to come here, because this place is always good. We prefer the roll-ups to the platters, but in either case, the meat is tender with just a little crispiness on the outside. And with almost everything on the menu priced in the single digits, it’s the perfect place to spend your last $10 of the night." - dan secatore

Falafel Corner - Review - Harvard Square - Boston - The Infatuation

"Falafel Corner is a counter-service falafel corner in Harvard Square. It’s open until 3am on most nights of the week, making it one of the best late-night food options in all of Boston. If you’ve been out drinking in Harvard Square or at a show at the Sinclair, this should be your last stop before heading home. photo credit: Tina Picz" - Dan Secatore

Beef kabab was not available. Beef shawarma was good. Portions are big enough. Ayran was nice and cold. It was quite even just being on the street.

Tasty, reliable, and great service. I’ve seen this place for the past 7 years and finally decided to go in and try it out! I loved it! The food was great! I got the chicken shawerma! I loved every bite. I happened to meet Ali during my visit who is the current owner! What a humble guy! He works so hard, he is also the one who prepared the food and is the mastermind behind the recipe’s in the restaurant! The restaurant is small, seats are limited, making the atmosphere customizable. There is no bathroom here. Their pastries and desserts are made in house and are fresh. The baklava is also sweet and with great taste! This is a must try in Cambridge!

Google
This space was sufficient for a 1:30 am food run. The attendance was well versed in the menu and gave us suggestions. I ordered the Chicken Kebab and it was good, minus the rice, which was a bit hard. (Not my preference). They had drinks and deserts there as well.

Google
I recommend this restaurant for those who look for Halal choices at Harvard Square. They offer Halal chicken and beef shawerma and so many other choices including vegan ones. The one sandwich of shawerma can make you feel full and it tastes good. If you are used to Arabic version of shawerma, ask the cook to choose the components of shawerma sandwich since they add vegetables and this is unusual for Arabic shawerma lovers. The cook was very friendly and generous with the portion size.

Nothing beats the hospitality and generosity over at the Falafel corner. Not only did I enjoy a delicious chicken shawarma, the staff heard me express my love for baklava and gave me a piece (which I devoured) on the house. It’s a quaint little spot with a seating area downstairs (maybe enough for 8-10 people?)

Google
Arrived after 3pm . Ordered falafel sandwich. Falafel , was hot and crunchy and moist. There was a base layer of tahini and lettuce, with seasoned cucumbers(with skin) ,and tomatoes, and onions. The pita was toasted before rolling it all up. White sauce and hot sauce were , generous. Takeout only.

Google
We’ve been coming here for so many years and all the different owners the most recent owner they changed it a little bit. The food is so good so fresh it’s nice to have something like this that we love to eat healthy open late after going out !! They do everything with care and they are very kind and they make sure To keep vegetarian items separate and it’s a bonus at the french fries are not fried and meat like most restaurants are so definitely try this place!!

Google
Recently tried a chicken shawarma from this place and it was good at first. Then the bones came. Had three different bone fragments in it. The first one, whatever, it happens. The second one, I should have given up on the roll up but I was hungry! The third one, half way through it and I had to throw it out. Food, utterly disappointed. The only reason why it's not a one star is that the dude working there was over the top friendly. If I had time, I would go back and I bet he would be accommodating to either refund me or make me something else.

Yelp
I used to come here often years ago and I forgot about this gem. Stopped by for taking out Falafel Roll-up and I was very pleased. Great man and friends are in service. Flavor was nice and mild, it was healthy light option. Got to come back to try more dishes here. I was very glad to come back here.

Yelp
Worst chicken shawarma I've ever had. This place used to be one of my go tos in the neighborhood, but there are new owners and I'm not kidding I had to throw most of it out. Never again .

Yelp
great felafel - big servings at a low price - friendly guy - reminds me of what Harvard Square used to be before it was taken over by Tatte, etc.

Yelp
This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it is a Harvard square staple! It's a very small place, I recommend take out but it's open till 3am! I think it's going to be my new late night place. I got the falafel roll up with hummus, garlic paste and hot sauce - amazing combination. I wish the sauces were more evenly distributed but honestly still delicious. The falafel was extra crispy so it was the perfect bite of texture against the soft grilled pita.

Yelp
good lebanese/syrian food is hard to find in boston and this definitely is not it. why is there no KABEES AL LIFT at any of these sandwich shops? i feel like i'm gonna bring my own and eat it right in front of them just to make a point. also these people are sketchy with the legal stuff if you care to look up a current article in the harvard crimson. workers comp is not a joke. follow the law.
google avatar

ToniAnne K.

Yelp
Quick service, open late and delicious authentic food! We stayed at The Charles Hotel and got in late after a concert. This was the perfect late night food that was healthy and delicious.

Yelp
It's honestly solid for the price and location!! The chicken shawarma plate is only $8.90, much cheaper than what the HSC food trucks charge, and honestly much better. I added a falafel ball because there's a $10 minimum for credit cards. I think some of the other reviewers are missing how many middle eastern cultures are different in how they prepare foods. This falafel is not a soft falafel, it is crunchy and almost chunky, but still delicious. The shawarma reminded me of Lebanese Taverna's in DC, but much more flavorful and fresher. It wasn't dry at all. The serving of choban is generous, as is the rice. You really can't find this much food in cambridge for this cheap anywhere else. The toum is great too, make sure you get it! I believe it was just the owner working, and he took care making my bowl, and asked what drizzles I wanted before pouring them, which I really appreciated. There are also many vegetarian combos so they really cater to everyone. I will be back very soon!!!

Yelp
The owner was extremely rude to me when I pointed out a mild price discrepancy between what I was charged for a certain item ($4.99) and the price on the menu ($3.99). I didn't try to make a big deal of it, but he certainly did. Very unpleasant interaction for only mediocre food.

J G.

Yelp
Let's start with the good... the counter person was very nice and made sure to wear gloves during food prep. Now the not so good. The falafel didn't have a lot of flavor. And the pita tasted and felt like it was at least a few days old. Stale pita is a dealbreaker for me. If your namesake is "falafel" you had better at least get that signature item right. In addition, but less important, the counter is located at the top of a staircase. If more than 2 or 3 people are there, you need to wait on the stairs. Also, the place was not that clean.

Yelp
We stopped by at Felafel Corner during a quick stop at Harvard Square. I had heard the reminiscences from my fiancé during past visits and had to try it for myself. I ordered the lamb shawarma plate which also came with a side order of salad. The lamb was very well seasoned and the hot sauce was quite hot which I appreciated. The salad tasted very fresh, and paired nicely with the white sauce. And the portion sizes were very generous, enough for 2 meals. I appreciated the requirement for masks before entering the business, and there wasn't much room inside so you could only place an order for pickup. I definitely recommend stopping by whenever you're in the area to satisfy your middle eastern cuisine cravings!

Yelp
We came at a 10PM Saturday night. I love falafels and would try it out at every restaurant if they offer them. These falafels in particular were not my favorite. The texture feels denser inside where typically it's lighter; and for some reason it doesn't taste like garbanzo beans at all. It's lacking certain spices that come with authentic falafels. I'm not sure if i could eat this without hummus. Overall i was disappointed but i do hope they do well as it seems to be a local late night delicacy.

Yelp
Cheap, good food that's open very late. 3am in the morning late. Sure, the meat can be a little dry sometimes, and sometimes there's a little weird scent coming from the food or restaurant, but once you put their food in your mouth, everything tastes pretty good. Can't beat that at 2-3am in the morning. Way better than buying Doritos at 7-11.

Yelp
Went yesterday with my wife. The person who served us was beyond friendly and helpful. We ordered a shawarma plate and a wrap sandwich (lavash doner chicken) with the works. Both were delicious ! All the vegetables were really fresh and the flavors were terrific. Brought us baklava and tea - also so good! This place does not disappoint.

Yelp
Total hole in the wall on a busy Cambridge street. However, as a self proclaimed shawarma connoisseur, I highly recommend this little falafel shop. It's unassuming and not exactly where you would go for a first date. There is no bathroom for customers so keep that in mind. Also parking is on the street or a nearby deck. The food however, is on point! I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was perfectly done. The meat, the pickles, the garlic paste (toum) was a marriage made in heaven. And for a great price too! I really recommend the sandwich over the rice plate. But I was really happy with what I got since this hard to find a good shawarma. The service was fast and they prepped everything fresh, the falafels are made to order so that they are perfect! It was my last meal in Boston on my last trip and it made the weekend end on a good note.

Yelp
WOW, JUST WOOOOOOOW!!! We were in Boston for three days and we went to Falafel Corner every single day. They were the only thing open and right across the street from out hotel so we decided to give it a shot. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! They are open until 3am so if you're coming from a night out be aware that they might be sold out after your close out a cub or bar. I had the lamb shawarma wrap with the garlic and it was AMAZZZIING! I wish I had a taken a picture of it but just trust me, it was quite DELICIOUS! My boyfriend had his beef shawarma with garlic sauce and the spicy sauce. He can handle his spice quite well buuuuut this hot sauce had his nose running so be aware of that. If I am in Boston ever again, just know that I will be coming back here every single time.

Yelp
It's a nice small, nook in the wall halal shawarma place. Owner has a bit of an attitude which was a bit off-putting but the taste of the food does somewhat makes for it! I got the shawarma salad with extra falafel balls (per ball 0.75c) so wanted to try those and want sure if I would fine back to this place. I will however be going back, the salad and dressing were delicious as was the shawarma chicken! Soft, juicy and very flavorful Would recommend trying it for the food if you're in the area

Yelp
The food was okay, but upon walking in the door was wide open during the hot weather. Place looks messy and dirty. Negative energy from the guy inside. Kinda disappointed overall.

Seamus G.

Yelp
Good food, a ton of amazing middle eastern food to choose from. Respectful employees. Mostly meant for takeout, not much of a sit down.
google avatar

Yelp
Place is right next to HKS. Its also open till 3 am in night. Good for late night bite. The food is good. Space is really tiny and a few tables in the basement. Service is fast. Good for money.

Yelp
As many people have already said, Falafel Corner's easy to miss, especially when late-night crowds from Charlie's Kitchen next door start spilling onto the sidewalk. With that said though, it's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before--I really can't speak highly enough of this place. I don't frequent this place nearly as often as I did when I was living in Harvard Square, but every time I'm back in Cambridge, I try to get me one of the shawarma rollups (with hot sauce, if you can tolerate it--it's really not that bad). My go-to order is always the chicken shawarma, and on occasion, I get a lamb shawarma too, which is saying a lot, since I usually can't tolerate the taste of lamb. I can't speak on any of the other menu items, but that's only because I've never wanted to have anything else; the shawarma rollups are just that good. Sure, the chicken could probably be a bit more juicy, but it's fresh-shaved from the skewer, and the combination of the meat, diced tomatoes, intensely garlicky tahini, hot sauce, and lettuce is sensational. The place is open til 3 am almost every night, but indoor seating in the basement is limited, so it's really more of a carry-out sort of place. You'll rarely see a queue out the door, but when it happens, the line moves along reasonably quickly. While the ambience is nothing to write home about--you won't see any fancy wine lists, maître d's, or servers scraping crumbs off a white tablecloth here--I can't stress how flavorful the food is. The kicker: the food's actually affordable, and good value, which is saying a lot in a Harvard Square that's increasingly become ostentatious and inaccessible.

Yelp
Eaten here twice. I've tried the soup, the chicken shawarma, the lamb, and the falafel. Pros - it's close to campus Cons - not impressed by the food - chicken and lamb are both very, very bland. - low great meat full of gristle. - staff gets salty when you ask for more hot sauce and "sighs exasperatedly" when you ask a second time. - $8 for a plate of this low caliber is just highway robbery.
google avatar

Yelp
A true neighborhood gem. The best falafel I've ever had, and my Asian friends agree: crisp on the outside and a tender flavorful center. I'm a personal trainer in Harvard Square and encourage my clients to go here for healthy lunch options. For low-carb, get a chicken platter with salad. Their salad is made without sugar, just lemon juice, vinegar, herbs etc. Tarek is a kind person who personally greets customers and makes us feel at home. If you are cold in the seating area, you can ask him to please turn up the heat. The tahini and hot sauce are also delicious! My boyfriend is always happy when I bring him Falafel Corner food.
google avatar

Emma R.

Yelp
I really don't write reviews, typically just read. But my food from Falafel Corner was so dissapointing that I felt it needed one. Shwarma: dry, seasoning good but really unpleasant to eat because of how dry it was Tahini sauce: completely flavorless and runny(comparable to a cup of cream) Hummus: palatable but none the less really bad in comparison to even store purchased and the side of hummus came with a scant few small pieces of pita, not any where near enough for multiple people or the amount of hummus provided Meat Pie: raw pastry dough it made it inedible Cucumber and tomato salad: old and not fresh, aka terrible Rice pilaf: nothing special, a bit under done Summary: will never order from here again. A waste of money. I'm writing this as I nibble at this monstrosity because I'm so hungry Want good middle eastern food? Go to Azama.

Taylor Z.

Yelp
I love this place! It's a small little shop, and the food is so good! The workers are awesome as well. I recommend the cashew fingers and the chicken shawarma! They are both to die for! The cashew fingers are such a good treat, and the chicken shawarma is huge! Great prices for being near Harvard Square. :)

Yelp
Great place to check out!! Not really good for big groups but the food is quality. Me and my family were just sitting downstairs which is where their tables are. An employee came in with sauce cups and asked if we wanted some. Never seen that before but I thought it was nice. Kinda showed they were actually checking on us instead of waiting for us to leave.

Farah I.

Yelp
Not spicy enough for my liking but it tasted really good and generous portions. Great halal food option!
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
So I'm sure this place is amazing when you're smashed but coming here completely sober is a disappointment. The kofta kebab I wanted was going to take 15 min so I decided on the lamb shawarma wrap. The pita was cold and hard and there was barely any filling. Nothing interestingly pickled in the wraps like at Shawarma Place and the lamb was tough too. My friend had the falafel salad and he seemed to like it and he raved about this place but now I don't trust his taste at all. Good hot sauce tho! Wouldn't be back unless drunk.

Yelp
My wife and strolled into Falafel Corner with hungry bellies. Open the door, and you're immediately confronted with about ten steps which lead directly to a counter and an eager clerk. I asked him, "Have you guys been reviewed on Yelp yet?" He looked at me with suspicion, "Yeah. Some bad; some good. It's like all restaurants." "I beg to differ, Mr. Falafel Corner. I'll be the judge of your establishment during this hour, sir!" came my reply, and feeling satisfied with myself, I reached forward to pump the bottle of free hand santizer set out for customer use. I apparently underestimated my own strength because the green gooey stuff lurched out of the bottle and puddled on my shirt just above my bellybutton. We placed our orders and claimed a table directly below the kitchen. Ten minutes later, my lamb kabob plate ($10.99) was in front of me. The plate was paper. For drinks, we went with tap water, which was served in environmentally-unfriendly styrofoam cups. The table rocked like a nursery. As lamb kabob plates go, the portion seemed designed for ambitious diners, and the taste was acceptable--not great. In fact, the lamb was exceptional only in so far as it lacked a lot of the heavy seasoning one usually finds in other falafel joints. I'm tempted to conclude by noting that Falafel Corner was just fine but nothing to write home about; however, I recognize that this is a problematic claim, given the attention I've just given it on Yelp.
google avatar

Jenn T.

Yelp
I got some shawarma here after hearing some people mention it. They have a pretty wide variety of shawarma such as chicken, lamb, mixed, etc. They also have wraps and plates as options too. I went for the lamb shawarma plate, which came with salad, rice, spicy sauce and tzatziki sauce. The flavor was pretty good, slightly dry but the rice was decently flavored. They also gave some pita bread on the side as well. This is a small place, with very little seating (which I think is downstairs). The service wasn't as fast as we hoped as we were kind of in a rush, but I think it was just an off day.
google avatar

Janet H.

Yelp
Not bad... but not good, either. Don't come here in the winter time because it's SOOOO COLD inside. Even worse, seating is downstairs so it's seriously painfully freezing. No heating. Otherwise, food was okay... service wasn't spectacular, either. I probably wouldn't come back.
google avatar

Lorena C.

Yelp
I got food from here with Postmates but I've never been to the restaurant. They are legit average. Not terrible but NOT quality like middle eastern North Afrikan food in NYC & Detroit's middle eastern spots. Lentil soup was lumpy and watery at the same time...go figure. Salad was good. Lamb Shawarma & Falafel were okay, but not well seasoned. Garlic spread tastes like it's cut with mayo .

Mostafa M.

Yelp
Went at 7:30 pm. Food took about 15 minutes to get ready for 3 people. Mind you we ordered shawarma beef and chicken mix. We were the only customers and there were 3 employees working. Asides from poor service and charging extra for minor side changes, the food quality was very poor. Over spiced and stale, rubbery chicken and beef. The salad even had stale, soggy veggies. The garlic paste was mayo with garlic powder probably. Overall very dissapointed for a 14 hour platter. Fast food would've been better.
google avatar

Dawn E.

Yelp
I had a schwarma wrap (chicken) and it was okay. The first few bites were really good and the giant bits of garlic were fantastic (I wouldn't eat this on a first date though), but, bread and butter pickles? What? And where was the mint and spices? Still they had lots of other options I didn't try and the kabobs looked delicious. The guys here were super friendly and they seemed efficient and the Middle Eastern music was a nice touch. It's a very casual joint, though. Take out and a few small tables for eating in, and, as such, you'd expect them to be faster. We waited over 10 minutes for a wrap and a meat pie. Understandable, for kabobs that haven't been cooked yet, but these just needed a quick toasting. I tend to think maybe the machines are old, because the guys behind the counter didn't seem to be slacking. Anyway, definitely worth a try. Just don't expect to get in and out.
google avatar

Nancy H.

Yelp
Five years later I decided to stop by Falafel Corner for a quick bite to eat to see if it's changed and yeezus! Not only is it more expensive but the wraps are soooo small. I ordered a mixed shwarma roll up and it was close to $10! There was one thin shaving of chicken, one thin shaving of lamb, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions with tahini sauce that was so thin and diluted. Take your money to Chipotle or anywhere else because this will not fill you up and other places will probably have 100x the flavors these cooked meats have. I'm a petite girl and I was still hungry after the wrap. Anything extra on their menu, including tahini sauce, costs $1 or more.

Jess D.

Yelp
I come here all the time late night but for some reason I got horrible service. I ordered a chicken shawarma roll up falafel roll up and grape leaves and a water . They charged me for it but instead the server gave us a lamb roll up and chicken roll up then proceeded to lock the doors on our faces. Never fucking going here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Small hole in the wall in Harvard Square, which we were so thankful was open during Christmas Eve after we went to mass. The place is tiny, a staircase up to order food and a staircase down to an even smaller eating area. There were certain items on the menu that required a 30 minute wait, so we just went with lamb gyro wrap and falafel wraps to go! The staff behind the counter was so kind and even gave our little girl a piece of falafel and wished us all a Merry Christmas. We took the food back to our hotel and enjoyed every savory bite of it. It's very rare that we get authentic food like this, so we felt very fortunate that this was our Christmas Eve meal. Even though there weren't too many places open during that time, we were glad that we got to indulge in their specialties!
google avatar

Kristie E.

Yelp
My kid stole my food moments after i sat down. He had been faithfully peeling back foil and devouring his own (i walked back and bought another so i didn't have to share)... I'm typing my review,he's almost DONE eating. This kid would skip meals more than he would eat, if allowed. That's a GLOWING review. Personally, ive had falafel all over the country...this was the best.
google avatar

Saul G.

Yelp
Little hole in the wall, a bit dingy and the staff isn't always the nicest. That said, the shawarma wrap-ups and falafel are really solid. The meat is always flavorful and I'm never disappointed when I stop in here for lunch!
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
The best lamb shawarma, hands down. Juicy and packing a flavored punch. The garlic spread is dynamite, just so good. Staff are friendly and it has a cool temperature (for all those hot summer days). A bit of a hole in the wall, but the food can't be beat. Would highly recommend

Yelp
My first time eating here, even though I've walked by countless times. I ordered take out: a chicken shawarma roll-up because I've never had a chicken one anywhere before today. It was OK. Mild flavor, not much in the way of spices; warm but not by much. The pita had a nice texture and was relatively moist (better than some other places I've eaten at). Lettuce, tomatoes, etc. were fresh. As noted by others, this place is small, on a split level: order upstairs & you can eat downstairs. Service was fast and simple. No extra chit-chat from the staff. I do plan on returning, hoping to try a few other items. Till then...
google avatar

Amer M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the falafel wrap I had. The falafel itself is very different and sooo scrumptious. And as an Arabic girl I've had plenty falafel. I also like the construction of the falafel, how it was put together. Everything About it was great. The location was cute in Boston also
google avatar

Pete D.

Yelp
I have had lots of falafel wraps and this one is among my favorites. Visit every time I am in HSQ. Owner and staff are great. I had no idea how to get my food yesterday since I was in a rush, my wife couldn't come and I couldn't find a spot and they brought it out to me.

Yelp
Whenever I have waited for the 66 bus in Harvard Sq I've wish for it to be a meal time, I was hungry, or I had more time because I have waited to try out Falafel Corner for a long time. Seeing streams of people going in and out meant that it had to be good, so I knew I had to experience it for myself. The opportunity finally presented itself one night so I got a falafel roll-up meal there. The meal includes a roll-up, fries and a can of soda. The fries were ready a few minutes after the roll-up so the guy brought them downstairs, which was really nice since it was pretty busy there. Maybe I hyped the whole thing up in my head because I was not that impressed. It was good but I think I wanted more spice or a different pita. The roll-up is in a thin pita/wrap and put on the grill once it is assembled. The falafel was tender and good separately but together I felt that the roll up was plain. I like how this place is simple. Menu and ordering up the stairs and seating is downstairs. Falafel and eating it does not need to be complicated. I'm going to try this place again. Maybe get a chicken roll-up or see if there is some hot sauce. But the time I was done with my meal I was way too full for dessert so next time I'll plan to get some baklava to go.

Yelp
In my drunken state, i was still able to take some photos of my food (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/YeRXjIzxc9FaK6uyrTBvkQ?select=s9UMVV-bYgB0jkleURRQmQ). i guess yelp brainwashed me that much huh? Falafel a little dry, but overall, it wasn't too bad. There wasn't anything particularly memorably about the food here, but it all hit the spot. Had a little bit of EVERYTHING.. baba ganoush, grape leaves, salad, falafel, lamb (or chicken) shwarma, pita, tahini, and hummus so if you wanna get a little nibble of everything, get the super combo!

Yelp
I've been ordering from this place since summer time . it's usually one of the few things open when I've got the late night munchies. today I'd like to say I'm parting ways with this place. Only because I ordered a take out order and that my order will be ready for pick up in 20 min. So I get into my car for about a 15 to 20 min car ride . Get there wait about 10 extra min before walking in, you know just to give then some extra time. I get there and tell them my order and they are lost for words or forgot how to speak English or lost for words being that I'm a young urban African American male picking up food ...then tells me he can make my food now if I would like lol so I just told him I'm fine and that's terrible service being that I called way ahead of time I walk out and see a white male walking to get his food and that right there is why I'm would like to tell you guys go fuck your self you fucking pricks ...... Don't order here I saw a rat I'm down stairs one time but you know I thought like we are in the city shit happens but maybe they are dirty and that was a sign god telling me just go somewhere else .

Yelp
Our favorite falafel joint closed 7 months ago, seeking a replacement we tried this place. Just falafel and tahini, a taste test. Two bites later we threw it in the municipal trash can, worst I've ever had. I'd been a Sami's loyalist since '87, when they moved off Longwood I wandered aimlessly until Amsterdam opened. Most of the falafel I tried in the long interim was lousy or expensive, yet edible. I'm not inclined to write a negative review but this food made me angry.

Yelp
Are falafels the loneliest food? You would think not, given that the majority of its letters are in pairs, leaving by sheer coincidence, S. and E. At the time of this review, E. and I have only known each other for three weeks, so I don't (mustn't) put too much importance to it. But in fact, it was E. who had induced my falafel craving. She had suggested a vegan bowl recipe whose edibility hinged upon the tahini sauce. In a perhaps too transparent attempt to engender conversation, I took on the recipe and in the process became the proud owner of a tub of tahini from Whole Foods. Everyday, I see the tub as I open the refrigerator and it reminds me of falafels. The falafel craving overcame me as I was walking to a sadcore concert at the Sinclair--which by the way E. had declined to come because of the season premier of some trendy show. Though the other options tempted me, I stayed true to my word and ordered a falafel wrap, only to realize after the fact that I did not meet the minimum $10 credit card charge. However, the employee ok'ed me after I added an Aranciata (Alas! E. is also a fan of Vampire Weekend.) from the fridge. When asked here or to go, I answered 'here' driven by my guilt; I wanted to give them the appearance of appreciation. But when I walked to the downstairs portion to grab a table, I saw no one there. After taking one lonesome bite, I quickly snuck out and ate the rest of the sandwich waiting outside the concert venue.

Yelp
Just ordered delivery from Falafel Corner for the first time through a third party delivery site. I often work at night and don't have too many options for food by the time I get home (most places are closed). I can't believe I've never ordered from here before, but definitely I'm going to be calling back again soon! Very fast delivery (even though I don't live that close to this location), very nice delivery driver, food was warm, exactly what I ordered, portions were much larger than what I'd expected based on price (now I have lunch and dinner for tomorrow! ), and absolutely delicious! So excited to have a good go-to (affordable but still delicious) late night delivery place! It's just the worst when you come home from work at 2am, haven't had dinner, realize you need to go grocery shopping (and don't have anything you can cook) so go to bed hungry bc you don't really have any other options... so pumped for this new find!

Yelp
The food comes in large portions, but that doesn't mean much when it's extremely bland, dry and low quality. The chicken shawarma is flavorless and dry, and so is the hummus. The pita bread comes cold and similarly gross.
