I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a Middle Eastern feast that left me absolutely thrilled! The hummus plate was a standout, featuring creamy, flavorful hummus that paired perfectly with fluffy rice. The chicken was grilled to perfection, tender and juicy, while the falafel added a delightful crunch and a burst of herbaceous flavor. The accompanying salad was fresh and vibrant, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich hummus and savory chicken. Every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that made this meal truly amazing. If you’re looking for a delicious Middle Eastern experience, this dish is a must-try!

Google
Delicious falafel, lamb kebob, kafta kebob, and sometimes lamb shank. (And chicken kebob, but not what I get.) Nice people, fast and really tasty. Check hours or just call in your take out order before you go like I do.

Google
FALAFEL KING-QUINCY is “GREATEST FALAFEL” ever! Here is my go to meal…Grilled Chicken Kabob Plate! Marinated chicken which is grilled on Kabob and is moist and perfect! Rice is something light fluffy and very flavor! Cucumber and Tomato Salad light seasoned and out on a bed of lettuce with a heaping mound of Hummous. 3-4 Pieces of super awesome addicted Falafel that has this outer CRUNCH like I have never experienced before and the middle super moist and fluffy with some spices that are amazing. Finally a small drizzle of creamy hummous dressing is lightly put over top! This owner is awesome. His whole family works there and they are super wonderful nice people.

Google
I ordered for the first time since I've been living in Quincy and I regret not ordering before. I think I'm officially hooked. The food was soooooo fresh. So yummy. The chicken had a nice grill taste. The falafel was amazing. The salad was fresh. Hummus was good. I will be returning soon.

Google
This place is incredible. I ordered the Tabouli Salad and it surprisingly came with 2 falafel that were probably the best I've ever had!!. crunchy not oily and the perfect amount of spice. The salad was incredibly fresh with nice juicy tomatoes and fresh cukes..can't wait to go back and try something else 😋

Google
Delicious food, fast service, huge portion. We sat inside, which is simple, clean, and quiet. This is exactly what we have been missing in Quincy!

Google
Small family owned place in Quincy . Food was sitting out for awhile looking pretty dry but tasted pretty good somehow . But all in all the food was decent. Not much seatings.

Yelp
Stopped by Falafel King for a quick takeout lunch. The lamb and chicken plate was cooked perfectly and the portion is very generous. The lamb shank is available on Thursdays and Fridays. The cashier was quick and appreciative. The restaurant is a small little spot with a few tables and chairs. It seems more popular for takeout.

Yelp
Well, one thing I can say for sure - this is a man-sized portion, enough to quench even the most voracious appetite! The Kafta with Falafel Roll-Up is a simple dish. While it isn't mind-blowing, sometimes simplicity is best, and here it works wonders! My only complaint is regarding execution: the ingredients were not consistently distributed. While I appreciate the challenges of doing so in a burrito, I feel that this doesn't apply to a rollup in the same way. It took until about the middle before the tomato and hummus made themselves known. The dish contained a generous amount of protein! The Kafta was flavorful and cooked well. The spinkles of falafel were in perfect amount also. Where it comes to veggies, I loved the salt, light acid, and crunch from the pickles. The lettuce helped add some crunch and freshness as well. Now, while I appreciate what the tomato did in adding moisture, being found only in the middle meant the effect was more limited. The same is true of the hummus - while I enjoyed its addition of creamy and savory notes, these were concentrated towards the center. I've no complaints about the tahini - it worked well accenting flavors throughout. Now, a few "before-I-forget" notes: - The Vimto drink was great! It is a unique blend of fruits, herbs and spices. Even if you're not a fan of soft drinks, I would still recommend trying it - The service is friendly and relatively fast, considering the freshness of the food. - The interior is a little plain, and seating is limited. While you are welcome to dine-in, this does appear to be more of a takeout-type spot. Thus, while my takeaway is to get a plate instead of a rollup next time, Falafel King has a lot going for it. While the food wasn't mind blowing, it delivered of a hearty, filling, and tasty meal! Well done!

Yelp
Very delicious roll up lamb sandwich. Very nice woman took my order. On a street lined with mostly Asian restaurants Falafel King offers something different. Many items vegetarian and meat roll up, plate combinations w chicken, beef etc. some w salad, hummus, grape leaves, Lamb perfectly cooked roll up assembled nicely. Cooked to order not from a steam Table. Nice tahini sauce. Todays special: lamb shank plates salad and rice only 14.95

Yelp
My partner and I got a falafel plate, lamb, chicken, and kafta mixed plate, and Vimto drink - TASTE: 4/5 - had high expectations for the falafel and they delivered! The hummus on the side was super flavorful too and so easy to eat. Of the meats, I enjoyed the kafta the best. The Vimto drink was sweet and fruity TEXTURE: 5/5 - falafel was fried and crunchy on the outside w chewy chickpea filling on the inside. Both plates included soft rice pilaf and a small salad w crisp tomatoes and lettuce, which helped break up the entrees PRICE: 4/5 - our total came out to $32 SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - much bigger portions than we expected and filled us up for dinner SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5:45pm on a Thursday, ordered at the counter, and our food came out less than 10min later. A handful of folks came in and out for their takeout, some of whom appeared to be regulars ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - dated space w approximately five tables for seating PARKING: 4/5 - got a free street spot on Hancock St

Yelp
Found my new local go-to! The portions here are big and the food is always super fresh and delicious. Also, quick and friendly service. The space is clean and they have a couple seats to dine in but I have only done take out. We tried their chicken plate and kafta roll up. The chicken was juicy, and the plate came with rice, salad, hummus, and falafels. But my favorite was the kafta roll-up! It was refreshing, and it really hit the spot. Also- you need to try their falafels. I've never really liked falafels because the ones I've tried have always been so dry and bland, but I LOVE them here!! They're crispy outside and moist inside. Also, I'm not one to gravitate towards falafel and would prefer meat, but I really enjoyed the falafels and now order the falafels on the side.

Yelp
This is such a great spot. It's super clean inside, but I think they get mostly takeout orders. It was just a lady and man working, and they were really nice and patient with us. The menu is a good size in my opinion, it's not huge but that means that the things they have are really good. We got 3 combo plates and two lassis for less than $60, it was a ton of food and really good. The falafel is really special, super crispy but not dry at all, with a ton of flavor. The kafta is pretty good but the chicken is really tender. I was surprised how many things came with the combo plate - taboulleh, dolma, hummus, baba gannoush, and salad, plus the meat and falafel. My only wish is that we'd had more bread for all of the dips. They cook the meat fresh to order too I think. We'll be back!

Yelp
Just ordered lunch via GrubHub and everything was absolutely delicious! Super fresh and tasty-salad, baba ganoush, kafta kabobs, rice and pita, plus hummus. Yummy!

Abby G.

Yelp
As a lifelong Quincy resident I can't believe I've gone this long without trying this place. Their chicken falafel roll up is delicious. Their hummus is out of this world and service is great too!

Yelp
Good choice for takeout. You get a giant amount of food for $15. The chicken and kafta plate is a great option for a little bit of everything if you're feeling hungry. The meat was well seasoned. Hummus and pita was solid.

Yelp
5 stars for their falafel, which are the best in New England. We live about an hour away, but whenever we're in Quincy we always order food from Falafel King. Hubby likes the wrap, but I like eating them individually which costs $0.95 each. This is a fast food place for take out only. I recommend ordering over the phone because it takes about 10 minutes to prepare the food and there's no place to sit. Street parking on a crowded and busy road, but I usually find a spot nearby.
google avatar

Sonny A.

Yelp
Friendly and quick. Flavor caters to middle of the road palette. Not truly authentic and not basic pretender either, truly american cut to classic middle eastern cuisine.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Really great food, friendly staff, and good prices. I will be back. I got the falafel plate. It was a healthy portion of food.

Ed M.

Yelp
Fresh, tasty, hot food. Pleasant people. This restaurant does have a couple tables in a bright room.

Yelp
The falafel wrap is the biggity biggity bomb. Everyone here has said it- great food, solid portions, nice people, fair prices. Have this in rotation aka our personal top 5 chart keep running it until it's broken which this place isn't !!
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
The food is amazing! Service is fast. Great place for take out. Their hummus is amazing! I would also recommend the falafel wrap with tabouli!

Cheyenne C.

Yelp
Oh my god! I don't know what's in the quincy air, but its been making me try foods I normally refuse to eat... I often do not like falafel, but this one is SO good... Like I would pay again to eat this instead of eating it just because it's there. I never dined in before, but if the staff made something this delicious, i'm 1000% they give good service. Very simple menu & good portions for the price, will be ordering more often! I got the chicken falafel plate :). Ate it too fast before taking a pic lol.

Michael K.

Yelp
This food can bring peace to the Middle East! I looked up falafel places and came to this place on a whim. It was cheap, the food came out literally 2 minutes after I ordered, and it was so good! I often eat falafel and Mediterranean food and at this place, I felt like I robbed them because it was so delicious. Even if they increased prices by 20%, it would still be so worth it. Can't recommend this place enough for a quick, cheap meal!

Nikki F.

Yelp
I ordered delivery yesterday. The falafel/hummus wrap was delicious--the falafel light and flavorful. I order a pint of the hummus and it is the best hummus I have ever had, in consistency and in balance of garlic, tahini and lemon. The grape leaves were perfect and particulary good dipped into the hummus. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu if it's of this high quality. Portions are very good also.

Yuri-Grace O.

Yelp
Incredible food. Best quality plate for a very affordable price! Favorite falafel in Boston.
google avatar

Patrick J.

Yelp
I really enjoy getting food here. I've ordered the chicken and lamb shawarma when I have gone. The meat itself is well seasoned and tender. The overall plate doesn't feel too heavy afterwards either. I was able to eat this and not go into a food coma when I finished unlike some of the other Mediterranean places I have gone to. This is definitely a place I'd recommend if you are looking to eat dinner at home one night or just want lunch in Quincy. They take orders over the phone but are pretty quick about getting you your food if you end up ordering in-person. Definitely a fan!
google avatar

T S.

Yelp
The staff are so kind and personable! I called to inquire about my food allergy and the vegan options they had available. The gentleman that answered the phone insured that they would take extra care and make sure my meal had no cross contamination. He also, verified that the falafel plate with rice and a salad was plant based. Thank you for your excellent customer service!
google avatar

Anon Y.

Yelp
A lot of food for a good price. Every time I come, they are fast and the food comes out delicious. Nothing else to say. Nice people, good food, affordable, and fast.
google avatar

Krystle P.

Yelp
Super good! Humus and baba ganoush is super smooth! And falafel wraps are bomb! Only wish they had a a homemade hot sauce, but we are in New England, so it's hard to find a place that supplies the spice. Food is fresh and delish!
google avatar

Mariam T.

Yelp
My dad used to get takeout from here for years. I haven't had it up until recently after I moved. I tried other spots to try to match up with it but nothing could compare. I still come back when I can and it still tastes the best !! Service is great as well, and the restaurant is always quiet and clean inside.

Yelp
I walked by Falafel King hundreds of times and after my first meal from this restaurant I felt like an idiot for waiting so long. 1. All the food is great. My husband loves the chicken and Shwarma mixed plate, I love the Falafel sandwich. My kids love the hummus, babaganush and falafel. 2. The staff is super nice. 3. So fast!
google avatar

Rob O.

Yelp
The veggie falafel is colossal! Lol. Lots of flavor and worth the price! It's a great, reliable spot and I'd encourage anyone to try it out. You'll get addicted in a weekly sense lol. Excellent representation.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
As expected from Falafel King, the food was good. The only thing was that the chicken is too dry and could have been served hotter.

Kortney C.

Yelp
Delicious food every time. Good value and large portions. Great vegetarian options. The most delicious falafel, hummus, and absolute best baba ghanoush!
google avatar

Trystan C.

Yelp
FOOD: 8/10 SERVICE: 8/10 AMBIENCE: 6/10 PRICE: $ RECCOMENDATION: chicken shawarma plate One of the best falafels I've ever had. Food came out super quick, owner was very friendly. Hummus was also very flavorful. Rated GAF.

Kevin H.

Yelp
I am so glad there is a falafel king in Quincy! I always go to the one in downtown and decided to give this location a chance. I ended up getting the chicken with falafel special roll up and got it delivered. It is a soft pita bread roll with chicken, falafel, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and hummus. The chicken was tender and had the perfect amount of seasoning. At the same time, the falafel was moist and had a crunch to it. There are restaurants/cafes that sell falafel that are dry like the desert and falafel king ain't one of them. I absolutely would buy lunch from here again!
google avatar

Musicsphere O.

Yelp
Food seems very fresh, the chicken kebab plate was very good, the falafel crispy and tasty, the rice plate a little dry on the sauce, the baklava roll was tasteless though, not even sweet. The interior of the place is not very inviting, there is no exterior sign either. Felt odd to eat inside without any music or sound so this is def a take out place.

N L.

Yelp
Excellent food and very friendly service. Their hours do seem to change and don't always match those listed on yelp. Suggest calling in advance to avoid disappointment
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
The amount of food you get, especially the plate dinners, for the price is the second best part of Falafel King. The first is obviously the food! My go to is the chicken shawarma plate and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. The people that work there, I think they're the owners, are so sweet and friendly. Definitely a must if you're in Quincy!

Jose C.

Yelp
This is one of the healthiest options on Hancock St. The food is fresh and tasty, and it's not greasy. The portions are generous and the price is right !!!
google avatar

Kasem W.

Yelp
Great service, great price, and the portions are HUGE. This is a typical family run mom-pop operation. I mean, literally it's a mom, dad, son, and son's uncle running everything from cooking to cleaning. If you've never tried their food, ask for samples. Their recipe is original and unmatched. If you want to experience REAL HOMEMADE Mediterranean food, you need to go to Falafel King in Quincy! Also, their website is updated.

Susan G.

Yelp
This is the best falafel I have ever tasted. Usually get a wrap and then at least a half a dozen more and binge.
google avatar

Peter V.

Yelp
Portions were great, food was good. Service was fast. I ordered the lamb and chicken plate and it lasted me two meals. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Loved the chicken schwarma wrap! Quick pick up, clean restaurant. Would love to see recyclable/ compostable packaging instead of the Styrofoam.

Bob C.

Yelp
Found this using Yelp and could not be happier. Food was outstanding. Restaurant was tiny, assuming take out is their main business, but immaculate. The women and young man were extremely helpful and professional. Had combo plate and falafel plate. Could not leave without baklava. We are not from the area but will be sure to order on our return visit.
google avatar

Young P.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and I was actually pretty impressed by the food. Chicken tasted very moist and cooked perfectly. Tasted like they actually took the time to brine the meat and season it well. Lamb was also cooked perfectly. Store was very clean and well maintained. Worth the try if you are j. The area!
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Omg! I travel the world searching for great falafel. This may be the best I've ever had. If you love good falafel, you must try the King!
google avatar

Jessy F.

Yelp
Great food and portion! Everything fresh!! First time tasting Greek food highly recommended
google avatar

Kimchi C.

Yelp
Food is okay and dissent. I still like going to Clover for their fafalel. Sometimes they give me way too much lettuces and not enough rice.

S T.

Yelp
I can't even remember how long I've been getting food from the Falafel King. The owner and his family are a delight and work extremely hard. The food is always fresh and the falafel is definitely the best I've had. My favorite is the kufta plate and kufta special rollup. I've also had the lamb plate. If you haven't been here before, you won't be disappointed! Great food for vegetarians too as my wife will testify!

Princess O.

Yelp
Really surprised by all the good reviews. I guess in Quincy there's no competition so people can't compare. But the falafel king downtown tastes better. The rice was dry, had unusual flavor. Even my husband who never wastes food didn't finish it. Hummus has unusual texture, shiny and not matte like every other place I've been. I'm from the south and there are tons of Lebanese restaurant. And there's a place in the Braintree mall food court that tastes better. Lamb was chewy and dry. Maybe they had an off day? But will not try again.
google avatar

Zac H.

Yelp
Their Baba ghanoush is totally out of this world. The Hummus is also amazing A dish worth driving to.
google avatar

Bryan M.

Yelp
Went in for lunch and noticed two people sitting inside who ended up being the people who worked there (one was a young child, assuming it's the owners son) They both greeted me as I walked in and I took a couple mins to make a decision on food. I've always heard good things about chicken Shawarma but this is my first time having it anywhere so I was excited to see what it was all about. I ended up getting a chicken Shawarma plate to go. I'm pretty sure if not all or most of the food was already pre cooked because I only had to wait a few minutes before my ordered was packed and ready to go. My box of food came with a little bit of everything. Hummus tasted very good. Chicken was excellently seasoned and cooked perfectly. Rice was precooked cause I saw him scooping it out of a heating container. Taste reminded me of some boxed rice pilaf that I can cook myself at home. Overall I found the food very enjoyable and would come back in the future to give the other items a try. Price point seemed really reasonable as I only paid )7.50 plus tax for my plate. Sandwiches start at as low as $5.25

Donna W.

Yelp
My favorite order is the vegetarian combo plate. Very friendly and polite staff at this Quincy location. The exterior of their building is currently being renovated but I had no problem parking, getting in and out. Baba Ganoush- good but too salty Hummus- good but too salty Tabouli- excellent Falafel- excellent, crispy Grape leaves- excellent Salad- good but the tomatoes are the typical wooden, tasteless tomatoes Bread- excellent, thin and tasty
