Falafel Queen

Used to love this place. Got a falafel box from here 1-2 times a month for several years. But for some reason they've recently changed the menu and the 'rice box' which replaces the old (delicious!) falafel box is pitiful. A box of dry unseasoned rice with a few dry falafel balls on top. No salad, no pickles, no nutrition. Completely flavourless and basically inedible. A bizarre change that takes this place from a lunch staple to something I'll probably never order again. I'm writing this review in the hope you'll bring back the lovely falafel boxes. Please!

Ordered from here the other night. Had the chicken shawarma. It was delicious. Nice and fresh, portions are good and the price is reasonable. Would defo order again. I consider myself a connoisseur of shawarma and this one hits all the right notes. Juicy and tasty.

Wow, I just had the Chicken shawarma from here an normally im not really a reviewer, But for this I have to. It hits that proper late night hunger spot. Big portion and freshly marinated chicken, No kebab shop stuff. They wrap it up in this tortilla with loads of salad, all to my choice, personally i went with jalapenos, lettuce, bulgur, cucumber and tzatziki, And chilli sauce, which actually had chilli flakes in it, a proper good kick aswell as i am a spicy guy !, Garlic sauce is also banging, proper garlicky but was a bit too thick for me Price is decent, especially for Walthamstow, Id happily say I walked away full without feeling like ive just been robbed! Definitely come here for a proper family run, authentic shawarma!

The Juan Kitchen- Nice burritos, small sizes, nothing to get excited over. First time trying here, and they forgot part of our order!. We got 2x free chocomel.

Ordered a falafel wrap bia Deliveroo but it was missing tahini and hummus essentially making it so dry it was like eating sandpaper. Falafel itself is also not very good. No crunch, no flavour, just dry! Will never order from them again!!

I ordered a delivery yesterday and I have to say this was great falafel very tasty great sales and a good size portion I will defo order again

The greek goddesses/falafel queen I think is underrated. I went in and the 2 gentlemen working there were extremely polite which can be hard to find in London these days. Now let's get down to the food. Every time I order from this restaurant, the food seems to get better and better hence my reason for physically coming. The lamb slouvaki wrap is almost impossible to find, you may find lamp slices or lamb mince but not the actual lamb skewer meat. I don't know what they season the meat with but when u take a bite of that thing it's a bit scary. Sorta feels like going to heaven for a few chews until you snap back to reality. I've got to jack his jacket and it belongs to this lil hidden gem!

Their portions are huge and food is always fresh.
