The staff was extremely friendly! That alone will get me to spend my money with you. The food was pretty tasty as well! I started eating it before getting pictures. I had the chicken shawarma wrap, gyro bowl and lemon cilantro fries. It was all good and just what I wanted! Plenty of food left over for tomorrow! Oh and make sure to get the pita bread yum!

Pretty weird place if you ask me. Very dull in the inside. Weird hours from only 12-7. & what restaurant keeps closed on Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday??? work 4 days, short hours, & 3 days off. Maybe also paint the place a little bit & make it more welcoming. It’s literally sticky and so dull. It’s like they don’t want to be open at all. Maybe that’s why they closed 3 days out of the week & close at 7pm (which is unheard of for a restaurant) Summertime turn the AC on like normal restaurants. it’s decent food but needs to be better on stuff like that & cleaner ambiance.

Honestly the best burger. I always come here whenever I'm in town. My go-to order is the double cheeseburger or regular cheeseburger and add spicy gyro. The burgers never miss, always 10/10, highly recommend.

The chicken and gyros platter is outstanding. One of my favorite meals in the area. The lunch special is a wonderful hidden gem of a deal these days. I definitely recommend this place. I’m excited to try the burger and more things on the menu. I can appreciate they serve halal meat and you can tell it’s all made with care and quality.

I got the single Chipotle burger with gyro and it was good like homemade. The tawa chicken spicy was a bit disappointing, was just like fried rice with chicken a bit too salty for my preference and not spicy enough. I think their other items are better. They are halal so that is good. They were also closed from 4-5:30 one day so I wasted my time driving there...

We were looking for a good halal burger place and thank god we found this place! Their burgers are just amazing!!! I tried their chicken shawarma too and that was great as well, I would highly recommend this place to any burger lover who is looking for some real good beef burgers. Try it and you won’t regret it! Only issue is the space, you can still sit and eat there but it’s not for a big group. People who are running this place are real nice too, it’s always good when you see a smiling face!

First time I went here, a guy in line recommended the double cheeseburger and it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. The sauce is amazing and I wish I knew the recipe. I’ve yet to try the gyro meat on the burger but my friend had it and said it’s amazing and that they give you plenty.

Best halal burger I've had in the burbs thus far! From the toppings inside to the flavor of the meat it was 100% filling and satisfying! We got the mixed shawarma plate too which was so tasty as well! This place also strictly social distances. Cannot wait to come back for more!!

I had heard from a friend who said that there is this Middle Eastern eatery in Hoffman Estates that is making some noise in social media about their hamburgers being so good. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The other restaurants are all Middle Eastern eateries in the strip mall. I walked into Falafel Hut, and it first was taken back. I thought I was in the wrong location. This place inside aesthetically looks horrendous. There is a large black tarp that separates the kitchen from the front area where you order. There's a small bell near the cash register that says ring for service. I thought the place was possibly under construction. I also thought I possibly entered from the wrong side and felt like I was in the back room. It's strange look at it hands-down. I ring the bell and this extremely friendly young lady asked how can she help me. I said I would like to try one of the hamburgers. The main menu that is on the wall has no mention of hamburgers. She then pulls out a small plastic sign that shows what you can order on a hamburger. From what my friend told me the way to go is get order a double cheeseburger with spicy gyro meat. You can then add chipotle sauce and take it from there. I ordered the way my friend suggested. The young lady asked me if I would like to make it a combo, which came with a drink and an extremely small fry. I said sure the total came to around $20. The young lady then said hold on let me see how long this is going to take. She disappeared behind the black curtain. I can hear her speaking with somebody and a voice came from the black curtain that said about 15 to 20 minutes. I sat and watched as a couple more people came in asking again for the hamburger. This was obviously turning into a popular item that they were not prepared for whatsoever. They told the people again that it would be 15 to 20 minutes. I could not see inside the kitchen, but from the voices I heard through the black curtain it seemed that there was maybe three workers total, the girl at the front who took the order, another woman who seemed to be the owner and a grill cook. I then hear my name Frank. A woman pops out from the curtain who I assume is the owner she told me she ran out of ground meat and that she needed to grind some more up. This will take another 15 to 20 minutes for her to grind the meat up. I told her it was fine, no problem. I sat and listened as phone calls started to come in, placing phone orders to get food and hamburgers. This sounded like they 100% could not handle how busy it was getting with their small staff. My 20 minute wait on top of my 20 minute wait turn into another 15 minute wait by the end of it. I finally heard my name called. It was almost an hour if not more, my hamburger was finally ready. I told the girl at the front counter before I ordered that I was going to review this location. I told her that when I do a review of a location, it gets exponentially busy people from everywhere. Come to try out what I suggest and it quadruples the business for a location, I asked her is that going to be a problem will you be able to handle it? The girl smiled and said we should be fine. I opened up my hamburger in my car to take a look at it. It was gorgeous. I took a bite, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were out of this world. The Gyro meat mixed with their ground meat was a perfect savory mix. The Gyro meat was tender. The creamy chipotle sauce did not overpower. It was a perfect companion to the salty meat. I will tell you this was an out of this world hamburger, but I also will tell you I don't think this was my order that I put in. The hamburger was not spicy whatsoever. I remember asking for the spicy Gyro meat. I also understood that it came with jalapeños and onions. I don't think I got that, I also ordered a double cheeseburger and I only received a single the phrase that came with it or child size I can't even call them small. I will tell you, because this is honestly one of the most unique and tasty hamburgers you'll ever try. Now there will be definitely some obstacles and give yourself some. time if you were curious to try this place out. They are very very slow. They are slow because they're lazy. They're slow because they are overwhelmed with this new found business. I also need to definitely say they need to do something with the aesthetic look of this place. It looks like a haunted house absolutely horrible if I was not suggested to try this place out one look at it from as soon as you enter the restaurant I would've walked right back out. I really do hope you all check this place out. I know a lot of my readers are pretty traditional and don't like to step out of their comfort zones but I have never steered any of you wrong. My reviews are always honest. I know what is good and what is bad in regards to what tastes good in the food. So I asked that you trust me and really check this place out you will like it.

This restaurant has great food but it is basically for takeout. There is only one small table that seats 2 people and a 8' counter by the windows with four stools. There are some chairs for people to sit and wait for their order. I have come two times during the lunch hour and they turned me away because they had a large catering order. So if you want to give this restaurant a try I would recommend calling ahead of time and for takeout. We will definitely be dining here again in the future. I would love to see them move to a bigger location.

Falafels in a Falfel Hut should be the best but NOT !! I ordered a dozen in the afternoon. The falafels were dry and tasteless - as if it had been just refried. The tahini was also very bland and tasteless. Then they put all the falafel order in a brown paper bag which when we picked up at home promptly broke at the bottom. I would say avoid this place. There are better ones for middle eastern food in the area.

Falafil Hut is great. The people are very nice and the food is always delicous. Ive tried a lot of items here, all great. I especially recommend the gyro burger. Ive started bringing my friends here and they all loved it too.

Yesterday my husband and I tried the lunch special with chicken shawarma, gyro meat, rice, and a pita. At first we were a little turned off with some of the spice in the rice (I believe it might be cinnamon), but the more we ate, the more we liked everything.

The food is delicious and their hummus is amazing. I love the lunch special, but ish it was on Saturdays too.

My wife and I have been eating at a restaurant across Golf road and we had been seeing and wanting to try this establishment for years. We FINALLY stopped in and I'm regretting we haven't eaten here earlier! Falafel house features a middle eastern fusion quisine and the selections on their menu has a fimilar theme. I had their Chicken Tawwa with rice and my wife had the Hummus with meat (Chicken Schwarma). Both dishes were ample and delicious! We wouldn't hesitate to return and will be trying everything on their menu.

Great food and service. I always order the tawa beef or the tawa chicken rice spicy. It comes with garlic sauce and is extremely flavorful! Definitely recommend and will continue to come back!

Great food! I always get the spicy chicken shawarma plate, which comes with rice, pita, salad, hummus and garlic sauce. I get an extra garlic sauce because it's so good! I also order a 6 piece order of falafil with a side of chipotle sauce, which was recommended to me by one of the owners and it is such a great combo! The owners are very nice and the food is great!

I'm not sure if it's under new ownership or what but we just got food today and it was less than flavorful. I literally had to add salt. I loved their rice and today the chicken had no flavor or color and it seemed like they didn't add any spices whatsoever. Extremely disappointed.

The best Gyro wrap I've had in the greater chicagoland area. Went in, ordered two "Extra Spicy Gyro Wrap" and paid $6.49 for each of them. Extra sauce is 25 cents. It took them about 10-15 minutes to make it. Every bite was delicious and filled with meat. My friend and I instantly agreed it was the best gyro sandwich we've had in greater chicagoland area. Yes it was oily.... They barely have seating, two tables with two chairs each and a high table thingy against the wall with 4 barstools. A carry out place. Your typical "hole in the wall" place. Will be back!!!

This place has always been my favorite I'm talking about the food The food gets 5 stars The guy at the register however Gets 1 Star I called and placed an order When I picked it up Not only was he on his phone AND handling food with no gloves on or without washing his hands But he was also too distracted and took my order wrong He argued yelling at me as I was walking out the door saying that he confirmed with me which is a lie. He never confirmed anything because what he was giving me was completely wrong Totally disappointed because this is the second time I travel a long way to that place for nothing.

I've been coming here for years as I grew up not too far in Schaumburg and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it before. This place is a hidden neighborhood gem! Everything you'd want out of a local, ma & pa kind of joint. The spicy chicken shwarma plate is my go-to. Everytime my brother and I are back in this area, we order from here. The portions are beyond generous. The food is always fresh and super tasty. Will always come back for more!

What a great hidden gem! This place is not straight mediteranean food, it definitely has a middle eastern bent to the flavors. But holy cow! The pitas are thinner than greek ones but so tender and flavorful. The beef shwarma is well seasoned but we tried the spicy chicken shwarma and it is off the charts. They have a spicy sauce that is so great and goes well with the chicken shwarma. Their hummus is by far the creamiest I ever had. It usually has some grit to it, but this was special. The filafil are the best or at least tied for best. I usually don't care for filafil because it is not seasoned, or worse, burned. These are great. Looking forward to going back.

This is a local hole in the wall restaurant with excellent food. Their most famous dish is the Chicken Tawwa Rice, which is a combination of shawarma meat with rice, onions, and peppers which tastes great with their garlic sauce. Overall it is a blend of Indian and Arab flavors that is guaranteed to satisfy you. Some people swear by the Beef Tawwa Rice as well, which I'm looking forward to trying next. The staff are very accommodating and have stayed open late to serve us in the past. This is one of my favorite cheap and satisfying eats in the Chicagoland area.

Favorite place for spicy chicken shawerma entree and chick shawarma wraps! Also amazing chicken tawwa rice! I stopped in last night to order my usual and saw some very delicious burgers. Decided to try a few and OMG !!! Big YES from me. So so good. This place really is a hidden gem. Never had anything I didn't like! ( except the falafel it was like 6/10) everything else is really great. Will be back for those burgers

I have tried several burger places and this place has officially ranked number 1 for me. I had the spicy gyro burger and it was a 10/10. The bun, the meat, the sauce's everything was spot on. It's mostly a take out place but the lady was so sweet and pulled out a table and extra chairs to accommodate us. Highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite places to eat! Been going here for a LONG time and the taste is always consistent. Owner is great and so are the rest of the people working here. Spicy beef tawa rice is to die for! A must try!

I have the chicken shawarma wrap at least once a week. The Tawwa rice is fantastic. I recommend adding some hummus and garlic sauce and enjoy it with a pita. I'm a big fan of this place! My kids enjoy it as well. They often suggest it for lunch/dinner.

Falafil Hut sits kind of hiden in one of the many shopping plazas Golf Road in Schaumburg. It is a very small place with two small tables and a counter where you can order (but not sit at). So, if you are lucky you might find a place to sit while there, but chances are if you go to Falafil Hut you are going there for take out. The food was good. We ordered a lot - mainly their spicy chicken shwarma. They advertise that they are the place for spicy chicken shwarma. I have to admit that it was good. The pita they give you is not the typical small round - it is a large flatbread. It is also soft like you would expect, but this is not a pocket pita. The dinner comes with a small salad. And, their hummus was good, but not the best I've had in the suburbs. So, I would classify Falafil Hut as a good middle eastern take-out restaurant. Compared to some of the others in the area, it is not the best. But, it certainly rates as one to try.

Burger is next level. The cheese is amazing. Totally recommend. Prob one of the best burgers in town.

Have tried their gyros, tawa rice, etc but hands down favorite item on the menu has to be the beef shawarma. Get it spicy and it is absolutely amazing. Legit bursting with flavor and the meat is cooked to perfection. Will always be back for more. Whatever they're doing works....

Limited seating, small and tight and not much of an ambiance. Better to do takeout from here. Food comes out quickly and in styrofoam boxes. Food was decent, good hummus and shawarmas.

I've eaten from many burger places before, and this is THE BEST burger place in town. The spicy chipotle burger is just amazing. I always get the double and it is absolutely scrumptious! The patties are so juicy and the gyros are the cherry on top. The best part is that it's not even that expensive. I would love to see this place grow and expand as it deserves to be known throughout all of Illinois.

It's a "Hole in the wall" tiny spot but it packs a DELICIOUS "POW" of flavor and texture in it's Angus Burgers. Absolutely love the food. There Burgers aren't on the new menu yet. I order triple with 2 cheese, Burger sauce, grilled onions and jalapeños. ADDICTION WARNING !

Best shawarma in town! The beef and chicken wraps are amazing and come with a good price! Located off of golf by the Toyota dealership- just don't get it mixed up with the Mediterranean deli next door.

Small place so i felt cramped eating there but the food was so good! The portions were big! I got the beef platter non spicy. Really loved the garlic sauce and the hummus i couldnt even finished it had to take it to go.

Wow... the food at Falafil Hut is delicious. You wouldn't expect it from the small interior, limited menu, and two man operation but this might be the best Middle Eastern food in the area. Everything is made to order so be prepared to wait. We ordered the chicken tawa rice (spicy), chicken kabobs, and chicken hummus. The wait was worth it because everything was flavorful and cooked well. Surprisingly, even the chicken kabobs were tender and juicy. The meat in each dish was seasoned well and not dry at all. I'll definitely be back to try the beef and lamb. If you're like me and enjoy ethnic hidden jems, that then you must try Falafil Hut. Be patient when you order and you won't be disappointed.

This review is for the chicken Tawa rice. This is home style, desi style fried rice. Like a spicy "pulau." They give u a thick garlic yogurt sauce which goes along perfectly with it. You can't find this rice for sale retail in most restaurants. Worth the try! Great service. Great people. Great location. These people do a great job with this Tawa chicken rice dish.

The best burger you will ever have. It's the best ground beef with gyros meat on top and all the fixins. Their food is consistent and fantastic. They are very busy. Give them time it is worth the wait and I won't wait for much. Small business and their food is always delicious. Thank you for your hard work.

Came here on a whim and enjoyed the food. I had the Chicken shawarma and Gyro combo platter(spicy) and the wife had a chicken and beef shawarma combo platter(spicy) and they both hit nicely. Wifey never had Mediterranean food before but is a fan now. Boxes were stuffed with meat and rice, hummus was very nice and pita was light and fluffy. Highly recommend this spot.

Love this place. I'm mad that I forgot to take pics of my food before smashing (that's unusual of me) so I'll have to await my return before posting pics. In any event, my wife and I came here for dinner recently and got the chicken Shawarma combination Plate with gyro. Both of us were impressed. The chicken was well flavored, rice was cooked well. The gyro meat wasn't dry and the Taziki sauce complemented it perfectly. We also got and order of falafel. I was shocked to see it yellow inside since we usually see Green but it was still good. Everything is made fresh so I suggest calling in if you plan on doing takeout or else you going to be waiting a while but the wait is worth it! I plan to return soon.

I always love it when I discover that places extremely close to my apt. have awesome food. Falafil Hut, tucked into and almost hidden in a strip mall in Hoffman, does not disappoint in the least. I drove by this place daily for a solid couple of months when I moved here without noticing it. It's strange, but so many of the businesses in Hoffman almost appear like they are trying to hide from consumers. This stands in stark contrast to down the street in Schaumburg where where merchants are about as obnoxious with their marketing as a whorehouse in Tijuana. I have payed this joint a visit a good dozen times since first checking it out. Considering how into restaurants that I am, if I have been anywhere more than 5-6 times in such a short time period, I would say it is safe to assume that the food is on point. The menu here is simple and short, but all you really need to be mindful of if you have never visited before is the Chicken Shwarma. Order it in wrap or salad form and dig in, as your taste buds are in for a treat. The portion sizes are large here, but I'll bet you polish off the whole thing anyway as it is simply delicious.The meat is super tender and seasoned with what must be crack considering how addictive it is. You should drizzle some of the garlic sauce on it to give it that dynamite flavor contrast. This also cuts out some of the heat if you opt for the "extra spicy" version, which is my personal preference. Is it hot? Absolutely, but it is not melt your face off hot. I would keep a cold beverage nearby, but fans of extremely spicy food will find it to be mere child's play on the Scoville scale. I have tried several other items on the menu here (the lamb is a solid choice) but I always manage to gravitate back towards the Chicken. The hummus several of my coworkers are huge fans of, but to me it is just average. Though suffice to say that I am much of a fan of hummus just in general, so take that with a grain of salt. I did post a picture of the menu to check out since there is not one listed online. On most of my visits, both the fluffy pita itself and the vegetables have been extremely fresh on the wraps. Now granted that the chicken is so good that you could dip it in motor oil and I would probably still eat it, but it's nice that all the bases are covered. Pricing is cheap, with the wraps setting you back between 4 and 8 bucks. The staff here has always been very personable and helpful on my visits, especially when the owner is in the house. This guy obviously has a passion for the food he serves, which likely explains why it is so well made. Any good independent restauranteur out there is 70% foodie and 30% businessman. The owner loves to chat if it's not busy, and I have heard the tale of how his restaurant came to be on a couple of occasions. The YouTube food show "Sameer's Eats" has done an episode on Falafil Hut, which I am sure you can find with a simple Google search if you are interested. If you plan to stop in here on your lunch break, I highly recommend you call in your order in advance. Service can slow down to a snails pace during the weekday lunch rush, so plan accordingly. I would also plan on taking your food to go on since there are few places to actually sit. Since I just live right down the street this is not a huge concern for me, but to others looking to have the food piping hot, take your lunch break early as possible so you can score a table. There has been some instances of inconsistency when I have dined here, which prevents this place from 5 star billing in my book. Not surprisingly, these have always directly corresponded to times when the owner is not in the building. Overall, this is a great option for casual Middle Eastern grub. The prices are decent, the service is normally on point, and the Chicken Shwarma is to die for. Om nom nom.

Amazing. We stopped here one afternoon after a day of shopping. We picked up a chicken shawarma wrap to share. Just one. That was our first mistake. I almost didn't share it with the hubby. It was so good. I couldn't stop eating it. A few weeks later, the hubs asked if I wanted him to pick up a chicken shawarma wrap on his way home from that area (we live about 30 minutes away). I said "yes!!" When he arrived home, it was still warm and it was delicious. A little of the sauce dripped onto my sleeve and I spent the next several hours sniffing my sleeve and dreaming of that wrap. He brought another home a couple weeks ago. I wasn't feeling it that night so I stuck it in the fridge. It was just as delicious the next day, reheated. The falafils are yummy too!

Pretty good experience. Drove all the way from Naperville to try this place out because I saw it on Sameers Eats. My friend and I both had the Lamb/Chicken Combo platters and an order of falafel, which was fresh and tasty. The owner was probably having a bad day (his father was very sweet) but he had a very bitter/unwelcoming attitude. Price 10/10 Customer service 9.5/10 Quality 10/10 2 stars because of the owner..food was good though

3.5 Stars - I can't figure out if I am a fan or not due to some things being really good and some being meh. I gave them the 4 in the rating because I know how much half a star means to businesses. This place is pretty small, 2 tables for 3 ppl each and 4 seats or was it 6? at a counter top facing the window. So if you have a bunch of people, you may want to do take out instead. Chicken and Gyro combo - The chicken was excellent and the Gyro was pretty good, it's the kinda they take off the spit and grill on the flat top before serving so it's crispier. I prefer it straight off the spit, I probably could have asked for it that way so I won't ding them on that. Rice - the rice was nicely flavored and fairly fluffy. Garlic Mayo - this was the bomb diggity sauce, I wondered why the guy kinda looked at me weird for a second when I asked for Taziki, I thought it was regular mayo. But he was very nice and gave me what I asked for. When I tried the Garlic Mayo, dang! Falafils - I am not a fan of these, they taste like this one packaged diy mix I had at home once, it was pretty dry and not that great. I would take a pass on their name sake sadly. Lamb - I tried some of my friends lamb, it was pretty good! FYI, the super combo takes like 25 minutes to make for some reason, so I passed on trying all their food today. Service - the cashier guy has some issues understanding english but the cook is good and very nice!

Tried it recently after a lot of friends couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. Indeed! The food is pretty awesome. I've tried the falafel platter which is served with some rice, pita Hummus and salad. Very good portion size. The falafel is actually super authentic and so good! 5-6 pieces of falafil! Also have tried the chicken Tawa rice! I absolutely loves it. Requested for spicy and it sure is very very good portion size. Can be shared among 2 along with a side of falafel or chips. Both the times we did a take away order and I have personally not visited the restaurant but was told it doesn't have a lot of tables to dine in. Would surely recommend this place if you like spicy and are craving for Mediterranean.

Love this place. The store is small but it's very clean, staff is gracious and kind, food is awesome. If I could give 10 starts I would. My go to is a lamb wrap with fries, never fails Me.

This is one of my favorite places to get take out. The tawa rice is delicious with the garlic sauce they give you on the side. Ask them to make it extra spicy. The portions are fair and always fresh!
