"This casual, trendy counter-service cafe from owners Maria and Ivan O’Farrill focuses on dishes using local produce. Both owners studied at top U.S. culinary schools and it shows in dishes like the French toast and eggs Benedict. Fàme opens daily at 7 a.m." - Mcconnell Quinn, Jamie Killin

Yelp
Great little cafe in Phoenix area. It's an order at the counter and grab your table type of place. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Great breakfast items such as chorizo tacos, Benedict. Their Cobb salad is perfect.

Heaven R.

Yelp
Modern eatery! Nice ambiance you can sit outside or inside. You basically seat yourself. Go up to the register to order. I especially liked that they support local with the waters and the hot sauce!! The bacon was very good quality and the greens was a good touch. Loved that the other plate was on tostadas

Jaquay R.

Yelp
Great local restaurant for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The atmosphere is very inviting with the open eating area inside and nice patio seating outside. The staff is awesome with providing service with a smile and keeping the tables clear or plates and glasses. The food is so good, fresh, and prepared on ordered. Nothing sitting around under a light. So much to choose from off the menu. My favorite is the chicken pesto sandwich. The aperol Spritz is delicious too.

Yelp
The ambience is great. This cute restaurant is in the heart of Central Phoenix and it has a nice laid back hipster feel to it. Food was made fresh to order. It was nice that there are dog bowls for your pups to have water in the outdoor seating area. As a unanimous decision of our party, we would have preferred the food to be more seasoned because everything taste rather bland.

Michelle J.

Yelp
What a cute spot for breakfast! And, the food is fantastic! I had the Parisian omelet which was loaded with spinach, mushrooms, and Gruyère cheese. YUM! My husband had the Fame omelet and he had it down before I could even get a taste (obviously he loved it). The only word of caution....come hungry because the portion sizes are large. We will be back (maybe next weekend!)

Yelp
I think this is the perfect breakfast spot considering the PERFECT weather Arizona has been having lately. This is an order at the counter place that offers indoor and outdoor seating. They had a nice crowd there on a Sunday afternoon but the line moved fast. I ordered the parisian omelet with an iced chai tea. The tea was super tasty, I drank it entirely too fast. The omelette was amazing, the spinach and mushrooms in it were fresh and flavorful and the hot sauce they had on the table made the perfect topping for it. Staff was really nice and I really enjoyed the whole ambiance of the place.

Yelp
Cute little spot, came here Sunday for breakfast with a friend. There was no wait time to be seated. You order at the front, they assign you a table and then bring you your food. The food was good, I LOVE Chilaquiles so I was ready for this. I added chicken and kept my eggs sunny side up. Overall it was good, a bit spicy for my taste but overall ok. I did order the Caramelito coffee (2 actually!) it was very very good! Def a cute spot to try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped in for Sunday brunch with friends after a trip to the art museum. The restaurant was definitely busy with a minimal line to order and a short wait for a table. I had the breakfast tacos, which were great, especially the salsa that comes with them. I love when breakfast places have delicious coffee and espresso and I really enjoyed the iced white mocha I ordered. It was espresso forward with the right amount of sweetness for my taste. The rest of the menu looks amazing so I'm looking forward to trying something different on my next visit.

Yelp
What a perfect Sunday morning breakfast spot to have stumbled upon during our weekend trip to Phoenix! This cozy, intimate cafe blends takeout ordering window with relaxing sit down dining, layering in friendly and prompt service. The espresso drinks were top notch and the menu provides plenty of options for all diners. The *Dos got a thumbs up from the meat eater at the table, while I devoured the steel cut oatmeal (swapped whole for almond milk) with fresh strawberries, bananas, nuts, cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar. I wish we had been in town longer to try more of the menu!

Ashley K.

Yelp
First time and came for breakfast. We got a cold brew coffee, cappuccino, cheese omelet, French toast and side of potatoes. Everything was very good. Setup is you order first and they will tell you where to sit. Pay attention when they tell you a number as the numbers are on the table. Nothing too special about the omelet. All the food, especially the French toast was nice because it had this fresh almost "healthy" taste. Nothing was greasy. The thing I found the best was actually their potatoes! I gobbled them up and it was Simplicity at its finest.

Gisselle G.

Yelp
The vegan horchata latte was very needed to beat the heat. It's so refreshing and complimented the tacos well. I loved that the tacos were packed with guac which tasted good with the beans and tofu scramble. I wish that the tortillas were more cooked but overall I had a great meal here. I will say that the food was also brought out very quickly which I loved since I didn't have to wait long.

Angel D.

Yelp
Cool concept. Order outside then take your number and have a seat inside wherever the server tells you to go or sit outside at the patio. Coffee and breakfast items were both a delight to have early morning! Small private parking plaza available.

Monte' J.

Yelp
Came in for the drinks and stayed for the food. Unique ordering process great staff and even better food. I would say a 5/5 on the meal and the drink the ordering process not so much. I would definitely go back.

Cam S.

Yelp
Very cool spot. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and great food. Coffee was good also. Recommended dishes: Mocha Latte, French Toast Breakfast Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot Parking: Parking right out front of the place. Had no issue getting a spot, however I did go pretty early

Yelp
I went on vacation to Phoenix to see my brother and one morning, we came here for breakfast. My brother said everything was really delicious so I was excited to try all the foods! This place can get really busy on the weekends and I understand why. The food is absolutely delicious! I got a lavender latte with oatmilk to start, and my brother got the vegan horchata. They were both delicious but the horchata was SO tasty. I ended up ordering one to go. I got the breakfast wrap and added avocado and sour cream. It was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of pinto beans and my brother got a pancake and the Dos. (2 eggs, bacon and potatoes.) The food was really good and I was so glad I got to come here! It is definitely on my list to come back to next time I'm in town!

Sara M.

Yelp
Fame caffe was a nice stop with great service and food. You order at the front and then seat yourself. We grabbed the breakfast sandwich and the smashed avocado toast with a latte. The food arrived pretty quickly and everything was fresh and tasted great. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes had crispy edges and were seasoned perfectly. The sandwich and avocado toast are simple meals but done well. The latte was delicious too! Smooth brew. Definitely need to stop in again to try out more items on the menu!

Rory S.

Yelp
Always wary about the highly trafficked, 'trendy' brunch spots with mediocre food. This place is no different. Menu looks fun and exciting but the food fell short... so did my bland latte. I was told the breakfast wrap is the most popular brunch dish, it came sloppily wrapped (there was a big ol' hole in it) and was luke warm.... also found a lil piece of eggshell. Probs won't be back, sowwwy.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
I love the aesthetic place and the food is great! it's a great place to hang out with friends!

Elaine R.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to eat at. I get so excited when I get the opportunity to come to Fame Caffe for breakfast or brunch. It's been a while since my last visit. There was a nice crowd, but no surprise, it wasn't as busy as I've seen which made me happy. The service here has always been great. The staff are friendly, they all have smiles, and provide great service. This visit I ordered the Breakfast wrap and a Sangria, because why not. The sangria is always good!!! The burrito was a nice size and was very delicious. I can't wait to get back soon to get something new to try.

Madison F.

Yelp
I stopped here on a recommendation that this was the best cold brew in town. They were right! Great atmosphere and the staff were really friendly.

Bailey L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my first and recent visit to Fàme Caffe! I was on the hunt for a quickish bite and caffeine pick me up in Uptown Phoenix area, my handy dandy Yelp app popped of Fàme Caffe, and I was sold! They share a parking lot with a group of other small businesses, that was absolutely popping off this Friday morning, they do have free street parking nearby and I was able to find a spot there, but I would anticipate possibly making a lap or two or parking on the street. They do offer reserved parking for Pick-Ups if you are able to call ahead! They have a small patio out front with a few tables, it is right along Central, so don't expect a peaceful setting. In addition, a dining room and little walk up window to order beverages and to-go's. This line moved swiftly and I was able to order my breakfast burrito with chorizo and Chai Latte with ease. Service was friendly and prompt. My food was out in no time, followed by my chai and off I went! Once at home, i thoroughly enjoyed my breaky burrito! Filled generously with all the goods, served with green and red salsa, it hit the mark and was delicious. I also added avocado, because, avocado, need I say more! The chai was perfectly spicy and balanced with sweetness without being overly sweet and perfect foam! i would most definitely return and dine in next time to enjoy the experience, but also take out anytime I was in the area and looking for a tasty bite.

Yelp
Cute & casual spot for brunch! As others have mentioned, you order at the window outside and then they assign you a table. The window you order at is a garage door style, so inside was a bit chilly since that never closed. Water & drip coffee are self serve, all food & specialized drinks are delivered to your table. Ordering & receiving our food was incredibly fast! My husband enjoyed the avocado toast with added bacon, and I devoured my huevos rancheros. The serving size of each was just right and tasted delicious. I also loved my Carmelita, it had a good mix of caramel and cinnamon flavor. It seemed like a lot of people had finished eating and were catching up with friends/family. There were even people working with headphones and laptops. The parking lot is shared between several other business, so there is alot of parking available as well.

Yelp
This was a to go order No ketchup for the potatoes No butter or jam for toast (not sure it would have been edible even it it were present. Rock hard!) Added salsa request in order notes - ignored. But the cashier asked so I did get some after all Cashier - greeted me - friendly, but had (what felt like) a lengthy conversation with another employee while holding my bag of (rapidly cooling off) food. It didn't seem urgent. Don't do that. Finish helping the customer so I can get out of there while food is hot. That said - portions were large, salsa was good. Corn tortillas were cold. Flavor of food was not mind blowing. It did seem overall fresh. We've been here a few times over the last couple years when we come to town to visit. Maybe we caught the kitchen on an off day? Id still recommend

Jerod S.

Yelp
This is the spot! An adorable corner unit with indoor/outdoor seating, excellent coffee, and kind people. My Juevos Rancheros with chorizo added were perfecto!

Liliana A.

Yelp
Came here a few years ago and did not have the best experience and the food was okay. I decided to finally give it a second chance since they always stay busy and it was delicious! Everything we got was a 10/10 and I'd definitely come back again!

Sabrina H.

Yelp
Took my boyfriend here for a quick brunch. First impression: very cute and very busy. The line moves quickly though! There's a good amount of seating inside with a few shaded tables outside. We heard great things about the breakfast wrap so that's what I ordered, along with the Parisian omelet and an iced chai tea. We wanted to try the eggs benedict but was told they had just sold out of it. We waited roughly about 20 minutes for our food. Breakfast wrap: 5/10. Not enough flavor. After taking a bite, I realized I should have ordered the chef's special of the day, which was their steak wrap. It was smaller than expected but it did fill me up! Wish there was more chorizo. Parisian omelet: 4/10. An egg white omelet that was quite bland. Not sure what else I expected from this dish, but a little bit more seasoning would've made it 3x better. The mushrooms were nice though. The toast that came with it was standard, as well as the 5 pieces of fresh fruit. Iced chai tea: 9/10. Really good! No complaints. I would maybe come back to try their chef's special and their drinks. The ambiance was quite nice and I enjoyed the lively morning vibes.

Yelp
Vegan review: The ambiance in this place is very cute and cozy. Service was quick and fast however I came to specifically try the vegan breakfast tacos because I seen the hype and unfortunately they were underwhelming. Like the ingredients were there but the flavor of everything was bland and the taste missed the mark for me. I understand this place doesn't focus on vegan items so I can see why this was the outcome but I would think they would focus on the flavor since it's the only thing vegan on the menu. ‍ maybe not. The salsa was good though.

Jessica K.

Yelp
Great coffee & breakfast spot! The banana bread is amazing!! Must try when you are in Phx!

Vee C.

Yelp
Cute to place to come. Service was fast and friendly. Had a mimosa that I believe had fresh squeezed orange juice, very fresh tasting.

Maegan A.

Yelp
First time eating at Fàme and I really enjoyed it. I had the chef's special and it was delicious. I would also recommend their iced dirty chai. I'm really into that drink right now and it's the best sweet one around. I really liked the style of service at this restaurant. You order at the window and they assign you to a table. You're then brought your food and drinks. It makes the turn over a lot faster and you aren't stuck waiting for your check once you've finished your meal. The only reason this isn't getting the full 5 stars is because the eggs Benedict didn't have enough hollandaise sauce. It was still good but wasn't what I was expecting.

Joanna V.

Yelp
If you want a breakfast spot with a lot of choices and large portions this is not your place. But if you want a place that selects certain dishes with particular ingredients and does them extremely well, this is your spot. We've had a good selection of dishes from here for breakfast and they've all been fantastic. Those pancakes are my favorite. Coffee is okay. You order first then sit. Inside is nice and comfortable. Depending on the time you go the line could be long and finding a seat might be difficult. But it's worth a visit if you want a good breakfast with nice ambiance.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Let's me stay by saying I stopped here because of the reviews. However the restaurant lacks character and the food is lack luster. I had the breakfast Tacos with country sausage. They used no seasoning in the food and the taco had like a gritty white substance. I ask for cilantro and the waitress pointed me to the micro greens on top. The mimosa was tart.

Emily M.

Yelp
This was our first meal in Arizona in April 2022 and what a great start to our trip! There was plenty of parking in their lot. There was a little bit of a line to order, but it moved quickly and gave us time to debate what to order. We were seated immediately and the food came quickly. I got a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato soup, which was wonderful and my husband loved the steak and egg wrap special. We also got a side of fries and a banana to add extra fuel before heading out to hike. Service was friendly, price was fair, and you can tell it's a popular brunch spot for locals and visitors. The inside feels nice and friendly and the outside has lots of shaded seating and benches to wait for a to-go order.

Angelina I.

Yelp
This is a good place for brunch. However, I wasn't a fan of ordering first and then having to wait for a table. You order, pay and then wait for a seat. That just doesn't make sense. & Also, there's no waiting area. You just wait outside in the parking lot. So I ordered there special. It's a steak, egg, beans, potato breakfast burrito. & These burritos are HUGE. Like I ate half and I was full already. There was a lot of steak, like a lot. They didn't hold back and I like that. It was all juicy and tender, it wasn't dry. The sauces that the burrito comes with is good, especially combined but I like more heat. Fà-me has their own house made hot sauce, and wow. It was way good, had a nice flavor and a kick to it. So thankful my friend bought me one to go. I did go use the restroom and so I saw the inside. Wasn't too spacious and that meant it made the entire place loud. It wouldn't have been a good place to hold conversation. You wouldn't have been able to hear each other.

Francisco C.

Yelp
Before I left Arizona, I decided to get some quick breakfast before I headed back home. God, my one regret was I didn't come here every morning for my stay in Phoenix. Where do u start it's a very modern ambiance where you can be seated inside or outside, you take your order and pay before your seated seat which helps the wait after your done eating. I ordered the chilaquiles with a side of avocado along with a Vegan horchata iced coffee! God lord, the chilaquiles are soft with a very well placed runny that taste fresh and esthetic they look like art you don't want to eat but the taste is well worth the pic before you take! Personally the highlight would have to be the Vegan horchata iced coffee. This coffee for 7 bucks is a steal the taste is more than Vegan it makes you feel like you've never had coffee but better the best coffee that will ever touch your lips you don't get sweetness you don't get the kick of nepresso, you get coffee that's P-E-R-F-E-C-T!

Natalie B.

Yelp
Prefect little breakfast spot! I met some coworkers here for breakfast last month and we all enjoyed it so much we went back last week and bought even more coworkers! The staff is very friendly and the food service is fast. You order at the window and then they ask you if it's for here or to go. If you are dining in then they assign you a table. I love that you don't have to fight anyone for a table lol! Once you sit down, someone will bring you your drinks. Then your food. Our food was out within 10 mins. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

Christian C.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast spots in Phoenix! Fame Cafe Parking was easy, as it's close to an somewhat outlet mall with a parking lot but there is street parking as well. When you get to the front of the line that is where you place your order. I would check out the menu's before hand if possible so that you don't get to front of the line and need 5 minutes to decide what you want to order. Now the lines get pretty long on the weekend so be aware of that. The first thing you'll notice once you arrive are all the funny photos all through cafe. Very artsy vibe. After being seated we ordered the Parisian omelette and the Eggs Benny with avocado instead of bacon and their house potatoes. Both were so good! We ordered mimosas as well and while and practically Inhaled them. The service was very fast as well even when they're very busy. A must stop when in the area.

Melanie P.

Yelp
Really great coffee and I had a chicken chop salad. That was great as well. You really should check out. It's worth the trip.

Jasmine V.

Yelp
Fame has been my go to breakfast spot on days I work in the office. Overall the food is good but may require just a little more seasoning. Still good. I've had their breakfast burrito, breakfast tacos, huevos rancheros and chilaquiles and I have to say so far I found my favorite, the chicken chilaquiles. I am also not a huge coffee person so I stuck to a vanilla chai latte and OH MY it is the best chai I've had. Overall would recommend!

Antoinette A.

Yelp
First timer here. My husband is working in phoenix so I came to visit and check out phoenix since it will be our future home this summer. Let me start by saying, I consider myself a chilaquiles connoisseur. They are my favorite breakfast item, and the ones here did not disappoint. I added on the avocado and the chorizo. Even with the chorizo they were not spicy at all but full of flavor. The chorizo is definitely a must to make this plate even better. The tortillas were still crispy when it arrived to my table, which is an important piece to get right with this dish. I brought my one year old son and I here for breakfast and I got a side of fruit and potatoes for him. Both were good, but the pineapple. Wow. So sweet and he loved it! I also ordered an iced carmelito, whichI enjoyed. I loved the cinnamon. Definitely a place to check out. The vibes are cozy and chill, and the staff was great.

Lisette A.

Yelp
Amazing, I'm from California and this place most definitely hit! Every item on the menu was delicious. Thank you

Lizzy O.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast and brunch. I loved ordering at the counter and then having a waiter bring us our food and drinks. The staff were helpful and quick, but the restaurant itself is very loud. I got the avocado toast with a fried egg on top, my kids got the lil pancakes and the lil French toast and everything was tasty (and the kids' portions were a good size).

Daniel L.

Yelp
This was a very nice experience, Mushroom burger was crazy good !!!!! Blk tea was so good. Everything was nice and clean

K F.

Yelp
I don't get the reviews unless you are voting on ambiance or as a cute meeting place with solid wood benches inside without any cushions....so uncomfortable! Food: warm coffee, my own French toast is 100% better. I didn't think the bread was good and two strawberries for over $14.00. Maybe it's healthy.. egg white omelette had no taste. We would not go back nor recommend this place.

Sayeeda A.

Yelp
The line was very long for sunday brunch. We waited about 30-40mins, before we were able to place our order outside at a register, and were given a number to be seated. The huevos rancheros was tasty, but the tortilla was a lil on the tough side instead of crispy. The tres vegan tacos could've definitely used more spices and seasoning. Would have also appreciated more vegetarian/vegan protein options. The staff was courteous. The bloody mary was delicious! Must get! Portions are on the smaller side. The ambience is casual and friendly, not too loud which we appreciated.

Madhura J.

Yelp
We flew into Pheonix early am and were delighted to have brunch here. Parking wasn't too hard to find despite the busy location. You have to order at the window but the line moves fast. The cold pressed OJ was delightful and very fresh. Huevos rancheros were recommended and were unforgettable imo . The chorizo added so much flavor to the dish ! Rest of the food was pretty stellar as well. If I am ever in the area , I'll eat here for sure .

Keith M.

Yelp
Looking for a place to go and I'll late Sunday morning. I've been to Fame A few times before. The ordering, paying, then waiting for your food system has its flaws. I ordered the Eggs Benny only to find out that after I paid and sat down, they were out. I'm not exactly sure how they can be out. Pretty much all the ingredients in what I ended up ordering could've made the eggs Benedict, but I digress... I ended up getting a Croque Madam Which was very good. In fact, every time I've been here, the food has been above average. The coffee is weak. Maybe it was because of the ordering mishap, but all of our food did not come at the same time. That awkward part of breakfast where I watch my date as she eats... This place has the potential to be so much better. The service and ordering process needs to be fixed. Paper and plastic cups are kind of tacky in what I would call an upscale breakfast place. Well I'll be back? Yeah, probably...

Natali M.

Yelp
It was my first time coming here and I was disappointed the pictures on Yelp made it seem like a great place to eat breakfast. The omelette I didn't even take a picture because it was so small and the plate was bigger than the food. Lol Not worth the price. The French toast was okay nothing special not much flavor either. It was disappointing overall. The only thing I liked was the Hot Honey lavender latte. I wouldn't go back.

Angelino M.

Yelp
We had Saturday brunch on their shady quiet patio. Husband got French toast, and I got the house omelette with chicken sausage on the side and a Bloody Mary. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu

Heidi B.

Yelp
This was our first visit to the café. It will probably be our last. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. I ordered the veggie scramble because my first pick was not an option. Sort of surprising to read gluten-free options are available only to be told that that means that don't order anything that has gluten in it. Scramble had a really nice hair on it though. Breakfast sandwich ordered by my son was extraordinarily dry. The aïoli sauce was scattered all over the bun, which meant that it was absorbed and left the sandwich rather dry. We figured out why substitutions don't work. It seems as though the food is not made there but premade and then microwaved perhaps?
