We had dinner and brunch here and it was good! The ambience has like a welcoming mid century modern vibe. They had the glass garage door open, which was so so nice!! The short rib was super tender and fell apart, soooo yummy. The steak was decent, it came with salad and the fries were tasty. The breakfast veggie omelette was really good, the toast comes with maple butter which was nice. The pancakes were basic but okay. And of course the staff were super kind and accommodating. It’s a great option when you stay at The Origin!

Hands down thee BEST brunch I’ve ever had!! I’ve had quite a few brunches! Crispy bacon, very fresh fruit and eggs with a green pork chili to die for! Our waitress was friendly and informative. My artisan latte went perfectly with the modern yet cozy environment. I highly recommend Famille.

I came here for dinner tonight with my stepmom and dad and it was great! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the food is excellent (the feta and shrimp salad was my favorite). Definitely check out their mocktails too—the Key Lime Pie tastes like a pie in liquid form! I will definitely come back!

Google
Had the bison fig burger and an omelette. The burger was delicious, one of the best I've had. Fries were cold unfortunately and the omelette was okay. Still a 5-star because of the burger. Ambience was great too.

Google
This place has a great vibe, delicious food and good service. Are here for the first time 6/7/25, and I would definitely go back. Had the baseline breakfast sandwich and it was fantastic! Not too salty, breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy, and mimosas were good too!

B Bradley

Google
We went there with high expectations. It started off poor when i ordered a mocktail that came out different than described on the menu. They substituted items without asking if it was ok. When I asked the server about it, he just said “we are out of edible flowers”. Never offered to ask if I wanted something else or give a discount for not providing as listed on the menu. We ordered the French dip ($24) and a side of veggies ($8) and the photos show what you receive for the value. We won’t be back.

Google
A lovely upscale yet relaxed dining option! They have a unique menu. I had the fig burger and it was very good! (A little overcooked, but still juicy) it’s quiet enough for comfortable conversation. Only took a photo of the dessert (Espresso martini cake & peach crème brûlée) and they were both fantastic!

Sara Matthews

Google
We dined here recently for dinner and had an overall great evening. Our server was very informative and attentive. The Brie croquette and jam was absolutely amazing as well as the peach creme brûlée and espresso martini cheesecake. And while we are on the topic of martinis, the best part was my cappuccino martini! Their bartender, Aaron, was a delight and his drinks really took the whole experience to the next level.

Mike K.

Yelp
I ordered half rack of ribs, but the ribs were not soft or tasty enough. The service was not bad and the ambiance was good. I probably won't go back again.

Yelp
ELEGANCE! First a Stunning factor, is one of "Seven Exquisite Restaurants and Hotels by ORIGIN HOLTELS" poignantly place around the USA, with "2" here in Colorado; Westminster (where I am a friend overly enjoyed more than 2 1/2 hours of "appetizing mouthwatering, Intensely Delicious" Gourmet food, via "Executive Chef Lindsey!!" Who has the "Graciousness of a Diplomat! And Culinary aptitude of an "Iron Chef!" Due to having a Service Dog and Famille having length wise solid booth seats, Executive Chef Lindsey had the Brilliant idea to place us in the magnificent designed - splendid Atrium. With sky high ceiling, fireplace and walled out windows to wash the drizzling ran. Thereby, our constant laughter and Service dog would not hamper others' enjoyment. My friend was brought a small round marble table to eat upon, I am my Aspen we pleasantly seated on a sink into leather sofa. This was only the beginning! I had heard of their onion Soup, and being a vegetarian Chef Lindsey warned me, "Onion Soup Broth is marinated overnight in Venison!" Riley, our most gracious and delightful attentive server, suggested Chef Lindsey's pancakes and embellished to the point I had to ask (albeit this is very uncommon food for me) "may I have ONE SMALL sample." YES was the resonant reply. And to drink Riley, "I prefer hot tea, via your choosing." I was not disappointed. Out came a Hot Peppermint Tea with Honey! This was perfection for a cool rainy Colorado day & the most Souffle air light smaller Pancake ever to caress my mouth! My eyes rolled back into my head with Glee! And onto the Venison Onion Soup: Intensely Delicious! The broth was magnificent - none I have ever experienced from Europe - South & North American, topped with a delicate gruyère cheese and most likely homemade toast. The blending was empyrean! Our Service was beyond reproach!! Then we were invited to view the hotel rooms. I almost booked a few nights, if I did not have appointments the next day in Littleton. Only these photos hopefully present justice to our delightful afternoon! Psst I wish to move in to the Hotel!!! Plus, rear Hotel/Restaurant two parking lots!!

Yelp
Definitely stole the show. Service was great, food was delicious and this spot is just clean to not stop in and grab a bite. We will be back everything was delicious and again the service was on point. Look forward to trying out lunch next time Great job Famille team

Yelp
Great things happen to those who wait. The Sous Chef back in 2021 is now their Executive Chef. Wohooo! It's so well deserved. I still remember their 7 hour Colorado Brown Ale Braised Lamb Shank. That was crazy delicious! And that was almost 4 years ago! @famille_westminster inside the @origin_westminster is a must stop when you're in the area. This grace the we had for dinner was dreamy to say the least. Chef Lindsey Ryan @ladyryno is right on point. Everything we had can be found on their Spring Menu that they started last week and will be around until about August. The entire menu is made from scratch and they cut their own steaks. If you noticed that this group is happy you are not wrong. Its evident. The chef is happy and the rest of the staff are too. So lots of love, care and time goes into every dish! Yelp
I came here for dinner tonight with my dad and stepmom and we had a great time! The service is wonderful and the food is excellent. I definitely recommend the feta and shrimp salad and the Key Lime Pie mocktail (it actually tastes like the pie in liquid form!). I look forward to my next meal at Famille!

Yelp
4.5 Star experience, almost a perfect 5! Minus 1/2 star due to steak & potatoes a bit on the salty side. Service by Amy was spectacular! Her friendly smile, knowledge of menu and attentive service was spot on! Food was amazing and the pancake with berries & cream made our brunch complete! Steak & eggs deliciously cooked to order! Side of green chili made the perfect addition to the eggs. Mimosa was very refreshing at $10.00 a glass. Overall a wonderful dining experience and one of my new favorite places to go for brunch! Free parking a short walk away or you can pay to park out front of this Hotel/Restaurant in the heart of Westminster. The interior is very simple yet upscale and relaxing. Can't wait to return and explore the other delicious entries on the menu!

Yelp
Meeting a friend here and did not realize today was the first day of Denver Restaurant Week 2024. I usually avoid eating out during this time as typically the employees are overwhelmed/overworked, the food is not spectacular as the kitchen just tried to make them as fast as they can to send out the food, and the restaurants were overcrowded. Not this year! We were so lucky to get here and were able to get a table without reservation. Not to mention the adorable Kayla being so amazing and made our experience so memorable and fun! She made great recommendations and was attentive to ensure we always had enough to drink and the food was up to our standards. Great personality shining through too! Food was delicious and very well presented, the charcuterie was a full portion and I was surprised of the generous offering. Steak was great and salad was cold and crisp. Friend's short rib was delicious too. The chocolate cake was so delicious and dense. Beautiful and clean decor. Super surprised of the much different DRW experience, highly recommend!

Yelp
Food 3.5/5 French onion soup base was not too rich and didn't have a greasy end taste. The broth is more on the thinner side. Bread was too hard inside but i enjoyed for my first meal of the day. Biscuit & gravy was little bit salty. It would have been better if biscuit were more fluffy and warm Atmosphere 4/5 Didn't take a picture of it but there were some wall art of Famille recipe which I thought it was clever. Large dining area with plenty of seating spaces. Kept it pretty simple and neat Service 4.5/5 Brunch menu came out fast and servers were attentive. We had simple orders so expectations are met Overall, I did enjoy the experience, but a lot of reviews seem to reflect dinner menu. I plan to come for dinner in the future

Yelp
Came in for brunch a while back and loved it. The food and drinks were top-notch, and the service was fantastic. The steak and eggs and pancakes were both amazing and the breakfast cocktails we delicious as well.

Yelp
I much prefer their brunch over their lunch/dinner. I came here twice because I was staying at the hotel and the first time was for an early dinner. Very few people yet I was barely checked up on and at one point I had to ration my water because I didn't get a refill until it was almost time to leave. The French dip was pretty good but the burger I got to go was too greasy for my taste. Brunch was MUCH better. The omelette tasted so fresh, the biscuits and gravy possibly had the best gravy I've ever tasted. The server was much more attentive too.

Yelp
This restaurant is a true gem. From the moment we walked it, we were treated so well. Our server, Shane, was amazing - super friendly, attentive, and just overall awesome. The food was so so soooo good! We had the French onion soup, cauliflower soup, warm feta dip, sweet potato croquettes, gnocchi, scallops, and their special white chocolate cheesecake. I can't recommend this place enough! We will be back.
google avatar

Keisha F.

Yelp
Flavors were on point! We got the biscuits and gravy, green chili ranchero, and a half order of the strawberry pancakes. We loved all of it - the gravy was delicious on the biscuits, I could honestly have used more of it! The ranchero had great flavor and texture. And the strawberry pancake was a great way to mix traditional and elevated. Service was nice too! Overall, loved the vibe and will be back!

Yelp
Very nice ambiance but extremely slow service. We went for breakfast. Ordered an omelette and burrito. From the time we sat down to getting the check, about an hour and 15 minutes. And it wasn't that crowded. Food was just ok. We won't be coming back.

Yelp
Not the best experience today, our first time at Famille. It was Memorial Day, but the restaurant was not crowded. I got the feeling they were a bit understaffed, in part because the person who met us at the host stand turned out also to be our waitress, but also because of later problems. Let me first mention that the decor is very nice. Very modern, comfortable, charming. You do get the feeling of sitting in a large empty room, but this did not really bother me. We ordered soft drinks. A refill for mine was a long time in coming. Our salmon Caesar salad was delivered without the salmon, which the restaurant had apparently already realized when it was being served. We were brought the salmon on a separate plate. This is not a presentation of which I approve. Also, the Caesar dressing was largely to be found in two clumps at the bottom of the bowl, rather than distributed evenly throughout the salad. As one might expect, when I order a salmon Caesar salad I want the salmon in the bowl when it's brought, and dressing properly distributed over the salad. While ordering, I was asked whether I would like my French onion soup to come along with my hamburger or before it. I said I would like the soup first. The two were delivered together. Later in the meal the waitress apologized, saying she had only just noticed that my plates had not been "coursed". We ordered as appetizers, since there weren't really any appetizers during the brunch service, sausages and potatoes. Instead of sausages, we were brought bacon. We pointed this out to the waitress, who said that it might have been her - not sure who else she thought it might have been - and she asked us if we still wanted the sausage. Well yes, that's why we pointed this out, is what I did not say. The proper move here would have been for her to leave the bacon and say "I'll bring the sausage right away," not to ask us whether we still wanted what we had ordered and what we had just pointed out we didn't receive. She took the bacon. Not sure whether it was given to another customer. That would definitely be against protocol. We did get the sausage right away. They were kind enough to bring us a few pastries while we waited for the meal that they said were left over from the weekend. The service was generally pleasant and attentive once it got going, and the food was very good in general. As I say, I wonder if perhaps they were understaffed and this led to some of the issues. I can't grade on a curve, however. The numerous fumbles made this a below-standard experience. And while $120 plus tip for four people is not extraordinarily expensive, it's a price point at which I expect the service to lack the sorts of issues we encountered.

Yelp
Great place waiting for the movie - yummy fancy appetizers fun drinks great atmosphere. Shout out to klynn

Yelp
Get the bruschetta here. Just do it. You won't regret it. We grabbed charcuterie and bruschetta to go and were VERY pleasantly surprised. Will absolutely be doing that again soon.

Yelp
So this is one of my regular haunts. I have stayed in the attached hotel and now that I'm in the neighborhood mostly full time, I stop in when I can. If you know anything about the plot of land where the hotel/restaurant sits, you might think a Waffle House might be more appropriate than a French restaurant. I'm glad they didn't go with what's expected. They keep the menu fresh without sacrificing old favorites and I've never had a problem with execution. Never had a bad plate of food come out here. The front of house staff get to shine though. They treat me way better than family since they don't question my colorful stories and I don't have to wash dishes. Kaylan at the bar and Tina have watched out for me over the last two+ years. I wish they stayed open later but my job wishes I worked later too. I don't think you'll get better food or service anywhere within a reasonable "transportation network company" ride. I'm glad Ms (now Mrs) Becca didn't 86 me back in the day. Thanks Famille fam.

Yelp
Great food and excellent service! I first came in after a long day of travel and had the French Dip. It was VERY good and the fries were done perfectly. The service from Tina was excellent as well. It was a great welcome to the property and to the Denver area. The next day I stopped in for breakfast and it only reinforced my great experience. This time, Margaret was my server. The breakfast was delicious - with big, meaty bacon cooked in that perfect zone with just enough crisp without being dry at all. Eggs, sourdough and fruit were all great. I like my breakfast potatoes on the crispy side, and Cat in the kitchen did them to ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. That awesome breakfast set me up for a good day ahead. They seem to have a really good team here. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Delicious grilled salmon! Unbelievably tasty and memorably delicious! Somewhat pricey but everything I've tasted here has been exceptional. A real YUMM rating!

Yelp
Such a fun spot in Westminster! Service is great. Food and drinks fresh and delish! Bartender, Aaron such a nice guy. We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Famille is such a gem! If you live close to Westminster, you should make this a staple, and if you live further away it's well worth the drive! I went first with a friend for my birthday on 10/27 and we sat in Tina's section. I adore her! She is so attentive, sweet, knowledgeable and kind. She truly made our night! Because of her attentiveness, all my friend and I had to focus on was discussing how incredible the food was and catch up over many laughs. The food was some of the best I've had in a long while. That night we shared the bison tare tare, the beet salad, I had the sweet potato gnocchi and finished with the winter tart. Oh my lord that tart! ! She was so patient and let us course out our dinner without us feeling rushed. In fact, we did go a bit over closing time (we didn't realize they closed at 9) but Tina and the bartender on still made us feel welcomed. Being in the industry before, we rushed ourselves out of there but still enjoyed every sip and bite! I loved it so much I HAD to take my foodie daughter there! I booked a table on 11/1 before our much anticipated night at Hamilton. I requested Tina's section because she was so great the first time, and she once again blew us away! She even remembered I was taking my daughter to the show, and that it was a surprise so she didn't ruin the surprise! What a memory!! She is just the best! She was so sweet when introducing herself to my daughter and made her feel so special. She once again made our night! We shared the whipped feta, I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth! I finished with the crème brûlée. I love this place so much I've asked for my husband to get us a night at the hotel so we can have a much needed night away, and more importantly, so we can dine at Famille for dinner and have brunch the next day!! I cannot wait to go back. I really want to try one of their wine pairing dinners. I'm in the wine industry, and pair wine to people's food everyday. It's such a treat when I get to have someone do it for me! I wish I had pictures of the food, because it's so beautiful, but I was too busy talking and enjoying every bite. You just have to go see for yourself!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and cocktails! I loved the pink martini and French dip! We also tried the bruschetta board and side caesar salad! Thank to our server Tina for excellent and attentive service! The chef for our meal was Amanda! We will be back! Such a fun date night.

Yelp
Fabulous Mother's Day Brunch. We had a large party and booked with Hayley ahead of time. Hayley was very informative and the staff had our table ready when we arrived, they even accommodated an extra person. The staff were so friendly and the service was great. The buffet had everything you could want and I especially loved that they actually cooked the bacon, which most brunches don't. Everyone in our party raved about the food, the deserts, prime rib, short ribs, salads, omelet bar, French toast, shrimp cocktail,,, all were all hot and outstanding. The ambiance was nice and quiet. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Nevin S.

Yelp
We had a lovely brunch/lunch there as a family. The staff was very kind and I think it would be a lovely place to eat if you are staying in the hotel or are otherwise in the area

John T.

Yelp
In fairness, this is more of meat place, But I ordered the stuffed artichoke hearts and the dish was very disappointing. For $30 you expect more than a couple of hearts, the dish was not nearly enough food for an adult and the flavor was lacking. Honestly, they should be embarrassed to serve this dish, let alone charge that price.

Yelp
Went for restaurant week and it was amazing. Boyfriend said the frites were the best potatoes he ever had. Service and food were both exceptional!
google avatar

Yelp
Finally got to try Famille today and was very impressed. Hotel restaurants have really stepped their game up and I am here for it! Really loved the beautiful space and lunch was lovely. I can't wait to try dinner and really check out this bar before a movie. Just the kind of place their area needed!
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Just like most spots in Colorado, food was bland and undesirable, on top of overpriced drinks that weren't mixed very well my family didn't have a good experience here. Good wait staff.
google avatar

Jenn D.

Yelp
Famille is an undiscovered gem in Westminster. I've been twice now and both experiences have been great. Both times for brunch. The service has been really good. Food has been delicious. Great menu, everything sounds amazing, so it was difficult to choose. At my last visit I chose the Colorado Green Chili Ranchero and it was awesome! The atmosphere is so nice. Very comfortable with cool vibe.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
I came for Sunday brunch with some friends and the menu looked delicious. I got the famille steak and eggs. I loved how the steak was seasoned really well, cooked to how I requested, and also was tender. I shared the peaches and cream pancakes and those were just okay - it was more of a fruit pancake stack. Service was okay with no complaints.
google avatar

Stan R.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Staff was very attentive and food was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is also very hip considering it is attached to a hotel. We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pre theatre happy hour. I had the hamburger It was delicious and well worth $20. My girl had the bruschetta it was good. We enjoyed and will return

Brian T.

Yelp
Been here several times.. Food is always delicious. The French Onion soup was spot on and the salmon Caesar salad was fabulous!!

Yelp
Cute location in the hotel Lobby. Staff was very helpful. Really enjoyed the French drip and the the French toast. The crepe was ok.

Yelp
We eat here fairly regularly as we live across the street. Other than being expensive, it's quite good. I love the convenience, the service is usually good, and the food was great last time we ate here.

Christina N.

Yelp
I love this place! Kaylan made my experience an amazing one. Her service and vibe are top notch. Best bartender everrrrrr!

Recondo A.

Yelp
Good food at Denver restaurant week with excellent service. Grilled pork chops were the best and the asparagus carpaccio was unique

Yelp
Grace waited on us for Sunday brunch and she did a great job! She was entertaining and a ray of sunshine. Thx!!

Yelp
Julie was so friendly and Kat in the kitchen was spectacular! We will be sure to return for the french dip and affogato
google avatar

Matt R.

Yelp
Really neat little spot. Tucked away in the main floor or a nice hotel. Great food, solid service and awesome vibes.
google avatar

Devon T.

Yelp
Let's start with the good: our server, Kayla was AMAZING! Super sweet and great service. The portions are very generous and the food was pretty good. The restaurant was very beautiful. The drinks were deliscio. Areas to improve: they had multiple dishes that couldn't be made because they were out of ingredients, which was a major bummer. The music really didn't match the atmosphere. Hip/hop/rap at a somewhat pricey French restaurant was weird.
google avatar

Amy E.

Yelp
I recently had lunch at Famille, and it was fantastic! Our server Ben took great care of us, he was so friendly and helpful. We had the Buratta, and some French Onion Soup, prepared by Chef Cat. Omg it was delicious, the flavors were just great! I highly recommend this little gem, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Tyga M.

Yelp
Soo impressed with this restaurant! My party of 6 made a reservation for Saturday evening and was able to be sat in a nearly closed off area, which was very nice. Our server, Tina, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and provided the best food and drink recommendations. All the food I had was flat out phenomenal. The crab dip had chunks of crab in it, and the ingredients enhanced the flavor overall. The side salad was light, had the right amount of dressing and had bursts of freshness with the vegetables. My bolognese dish was very, VERY hearty, but had an equal amount of meat to what tasted like homemade pasta. None of those were even the best dish I had though - the tres leches cake was on another level of greatness. The honeycomb addition added something to the cake that you didn't even realize it needed, but once you had it, it would have been a crime to omit it. Well done, Famille!

Haley

Yelp
This is one of my husband and I's favorite places to come every time we're in Colorado!! Ask for Kaylan, she's an absolute doll!!

Yelp
So we drove all the way across town to try here because they were rated well and their brunch Benedict's sounded fabulous. I would rate a straight B on service. We had Jake who took forever to come give us water and get our drink order from when we were seated. There wasn't many people at tables maybe 5-6? We ordered food and it took about 30 min to get food which seemed like awhile. Jake didn't seem to familiar with menu when I asked about a sous vide egg how that differs from a poached he just said I don't know shouldn't be much different. The Pork Belly Benedict was just a thin slice and a thin slice of tomato with the eggs the pork belly really just seemed like bacon vs pork belly which is thicker. The English muffin was a little hard. Price was a little high $18 for Benedict and potatoes. The only thing saving this from a 2 star review is the pancakes I got for my toddler. A steal at $6 for 3 really regular size pancakes but they consider silver dollar. They were great - so light and fluffy just how a pancake should be. I wish the service was better. I steer away from "hotel restaurants" because they usually don't have best food or service and didn't realize it was in a hotel till we pulled up. Probably will not be back on this side of town for this place tho their dinner menu looked great also.

Yelp
I was excited about my first RW experience in Colorado. There's a big BUT here that tops the Kardashian empire. Despite wanting to like this food which is good but not amazing I felt pretty much ignored even after booking a reservation here. We booked a 7:45 spot and were on time but had to wait for the table to be cleaned. That's not a problem in my book. Once we sat down and looked at the menu (it's RW so the choices are from a limited menu) and were ready we wondered for a while who would be our waitstaff. Finally after a good 20 minutes someone came up and said "oh no one has been helping you? I'll do that for you." We assumed they were covering for someone else but I'm honestly not sure now. After they took the order for the one app/entre/dessert and my cocktail order the food started coming out normally. The cauliflower soup is actually pretty good. I think they have decent vegetarian options here for your plant based needs. But when my entree came out and I still had no cocktail I had to ask where it was. Apparently the server didn't go to the bar to ask for it but instead went to their station (maybe perhaps just then putting in the order). All the people there for drinks only were being served in a normal fashion. The bartender was cleaning their equipment not making my drink. I finally got this cocktail after finishing my meal. It was good but the overall jist I got from this place is that they didn't want my business again. The only hint of our inconvenience I got was after paying the bill. An apology? as I'm walking out. Honestly even if you don't like me don't treat me like the gum stuck to your shoe. I'll prob get delivery from here if I ever want to try the food again. At least then I won't be dealing with someone's implicit bias.

Yelp
My friend and I stumbled upon Familie Westminster on a search for coffee and breakfast on Sunday and we are SO GLAD we did! The iced caramel latte was the best I've ever had! Also, the croissants with homemade jam were delightful and the eggs and potatoes were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed every minute of our dining experience and will definitely be returning! Kudos to the chefs Jadenden & Travis!! THANK YOU for making amazing food!! BIG Kudos to the wonderful service and experience, Sarah, you are the best and we can't wait to come back :-) You spoiled us rotten!! If you are looking for delicious, quality food and top notch service, go here!

Yelp
I could not have asked for a more memorable night for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner! Our children and grandchildren were with us, which made it a table for 12. The manager, Haley made sure EVERYTHING was special for us, table set beautifully with candles glowing and away from the rest of the restaurant for our privacy. She introduced herself and saw about us throughout the evening. Becca was our server and was very friendly, patient, attentive and very helpful navigating the menu with us. The chef, Lindsey came out to meet us and took time to visit. This I find unusual and a great thing to do with patrons. Now some about the incredible food: We ordered two Bruschetta Boards to begin! Three different with amazing bacon fig jam (addicting)/aged cheddar on one, walnut pesto/goat cheese on one and prosciutto/heirloom tomatoes, asparagus on another. Some of us had their French Onion Soup. My husband said it was the best he ever had and that's big because he gets it every where! Several side Caesar Salads were delicious. Entrees: Most of us got the Bison Short Ribs which were absolutely delicious, tender with a die for sauce! Our granddaughter got the French Dip and loved it with its caramelized onions and a French Onion Jus. Our Son-in-Law said his Lamb Shank was so tender and full of flavor. He said he had never had lamb this wonderful! Our daughter ordered the Rainbow Trout and she loved it along with the Asparagus Goat Cheese Risotto. Our Son Ordered the Rib Eye/Coffee Rubbed. He said that it was the BEST steak he had ever had! Now that is a BIG statement coming from someone who has had a lot of steaks in his life especially in Texas and world traveler! The younger kiddos had hamburgers and fries and of course loved those. DESSERT!!!! The Chocolate Cake was passed around and was totally decadent to say the least and adding their wonderful coffee left us reeling! Four of us had the Hibiscus Crème Brûlée and this did not disappoint! None of us had ever had any Crème Brûlée like this! Unuasal and amazing! I almost ordered a second one! I'll go back just for it and their perfect coffee! Drinks: Four Roses Old Fashion was a hit with several, Grey Goose Martinis and we ordered two beautiful bottles of their Santa Margharita Rose Champagne...I'm in love with it. AND Famille! Wish I could post my pictures! ALSO...A BIG note to the gorgeous hotel! Our family was totally amazed at the large comfortable rooms they had during their stay. Special touches that the staff left in their rooms added like no other hotel! WE'LL ALL BE BACK!!!

This is a tough one. This is not French. It is not that the food was bad...it was ok! I would not call it French. We had bison tartar served with basically bbq chips. There were dabbles of sauce and petite pickled capers, shallots, tomato vinaigrette, chives, smoked sea salt. The tartar itself had very little flavor. At least a little salt would have helped or pepper or mustard...anything. Ordered the onion soup. The word French onion was in the description. There was a hearty broth, not of onion. But had a good flavor. However missed the hint of brandy or wine that is usually present while tasting the sweetness of the onions in the soup. Ordered the 7-HOUR COLORADO BROWN ALE BRAISED LAMB SHANK natural jus, potato lyonnaise, haricot verts, glacé baby root vegetables. Very rich. Very tender. A good flavor. But something I would never order again. I love lamb shank. Again that that this was bad. Just lacked something. The old fashioned was good. The interior is what I would call "stark". Modern? Maybe but more stark. Not very inviting. Not a romantic stop. Staff was friendly. All that said. I would not call this a French restaurant. It does have French wine! Would I return. Probably not. Too many good places out there.
