Equitable Giving Circle Isn’t Just Feeding Black and Brown Portlanders. It’s Fighting for Reparations. | Eater Portland

"I learned that, during the right season, Equitable Giving Circle works with Portland-based Happiness Family Farm to source seasonal produce — lettuces, nightshades, and summer fruits — which go into CSA boxes that typically contain around 12 to 20 pounds of fruits and vegetables alongside grocery bags of shelf-stable items, proteins, and dairy; as the organizers put it, that food is often picked yesterday or this morning to ensure freshness." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

The staff is very friendly except one blonde haired girl that was locking the doors tonight as they closed... the gentleman at the service desk was very polite & helpful when I picked up my online order, but I was rather insulted when the girl waiting for me to walk out so she could lock the doors looked up from her phone & asked, "Did you pay for that?" Really?! I can't believe she asked me that! I am not a thief! And if I had been, that kind of a move would have been blatantly stupid! I am not sure of her name. I was so flustered after that, & I was carrying a 20 lb bag of rabbit food.

They saved the day by having the tire we needed after a blowout.

A great variety of farming, gardening, and pet needs. Reasonable prices and a great selection with an outgoing and personable staff that is there to help you if you need it. Two thumbs up high! Great place to find fantastic Christmas gifts for your family and furry family members. Great sales going on, something for almost everyone. Live baby chick's are here and best of all a very helpful and friendly staff.

Nice store. They have a nice selection of items. Clothes are too pricey. Like the candy area, lots of choices but pricey. Staff I give A+ because they are nice & helpful & that's very rare in stores nowadays. Good job guys! 🪻😊🪻

The employee that "helped" me tonight refused to look into whether or not another store carried the item I needed in another size. He claimed that their store didn't carry the size but when I purchased the original jacket I saw the larger size and didn't think it was needed-thus I know they carry it. Regardless, wouldn't recommend this place unless you already know what you need and don't need to ask anyone for help since they won't!
