The service was great!!! However, the rib tips were dry and rubbery. Had to send them back several times before choosing to just get the Sweetwater catfish. I ordered my brother tips to go, and what do you know, those same rubbery dry tips were in his to go box, so I sent those back asked for center cuts, and those were much better.

Waitress took for ever to take our order and even then when we ordered drinks and food that took for ever to come out and it wasn't even busy. It seem like they were under staffed but even in cases like that you see the managers out there interacting with customers or atleast they should and give customers an explanation as to what's going on and maybe just maybe offer something on the house for the wait to somewhat keep your customers happy I'd say. A lot of establishments do. What really sucks or sucked from this dine was that gratuity was included on our check and honestly she/they didn't deserve it. I like to compensate for good quality efficient service which we didn't receive.

We've been to this BBQ restaurant a few times over the years. They stay consistent on quality and it's good. It's a cozy and friendly atmosphere with interesting decor. Violet was prompt, knowledgeable and helped us customize our order a bit with excellent suggestions. She makes a mean coconut mojito, yummy! I'd go back just for the excellent service she provided. I ordered a half-rack rib plate with Mac and cheese; the Mac had corn and something spicy ( I guess Jalapeno) mixed in. I also had mashed potatoes, cornbread, bread pudding cake, and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The highlight of my meal was the ribs and cornbread. I expected the ribs to be bigger as they were skinny. However, they were tender and juicy! The cornbread was official, sweet, and tasty, too! Everything else I ordered was okay; I ate everything, but I wouldn't have missed anything if I had only ribs and cornbread. I highly recommend preordering your meal because I ordered at the register, and it took a while to get my food. The cost of my food came out to slightly over 34.00. I liked the ribs enough to return, and if I ordered sides, I would have to try all new sides and dessert because the ribs and cornbread were the only standouts.

If you're around Las Vegas. Found a yummy BBQ restaurant. Sorry I have no pictures of the food. Too hungry to take a pic. Ordered burnt ends combo. Burnt ends sandwich. Dave's favorite burger 🍔. Great food. Friendly service. Thank-you to everyone there.!!

The food was lukewarm, borderline cold, my favorite was the coleslaw. Loretta our server was great, she fixed it swiftly. You can tell she loves her job, her smile is genuine.

Had not been to Famous Dave's on Blue Diamond for a couple of years. We arrived at 5:30 to beat any rush, and good thing as they were short staffed. This review is a major shout-out to our server, Kelly C. Evidently it was only her and one other server, who we rarely saw. Kelly was acting as hostess, tending bar, waiting on many tables - a real spark plug, plus gave first-class service. What an asset; she deserves a raise! Hadn't been there for so long as weren't pleased with the quality of their food, yet last night was the best dining experience we experienced there. Food was great, and can't compliment Kelly high enough. They are fortunate to have her on their team.

We eat here at least once per week! Food is always excellent, burgers are the best in all of town, corn bread is perfect, and Debora provides sweetest most attentive service! She remembers our usual orders and adds a personal touch to our experience.

Loretta our server was awesome, very friendly and seems to love her job. The banana pudding delicious.

Best barbecue in Las Vegas and they carry our favorite pies from Bakers Square. The briskets here are my favorite but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu (so barbecue yummy)!!!

Food came out really quickly and tasted just as I remember it to be from college. Our server, Debora went above and beyond. She was very attentive and really nice. She gets an A++ from us!

I would not recommend this place. The 1-star is for the cornbread muffins. Ribs were dry and tough. I threw mine away, I felt they were undercooked on 1-2 bones and the others were just too tough to chew on. My son generally loves their ribs but he even said they tasted weird and were too hard to bite into. The sauce, looked like someone just added some to the top of the ribs. These to me did not feel like they were slow cooked for 3-4 hours and then cooked over an open flame with the sauce to seal in the flavor. Thats as close to the description I can get from the menu. They were not fall off the bone tender, but one of those moments where you bite in and then have to tear into the meat to get a piece to break off. I took one bite and could barely pull the meat off the bone. It also had an odd and awful flavor, wasn't good at all. The chicken same thing. Dry with no flavor. Needs seasoning. Brisket was also dry and felt more like last night's leftovers. Nothing BBQ related on this item. The Wilbur beans and Cole Slaw were okay. The past 3-orders from this location had the same issue. Customer service for to-go orders leaves much to be desired. The young lady that picked up the phone sounded like she was trying to talk me out of ordering. I spent most of my call being told about all the catering orders they needed to fulfill, and they may not have enough to fill catering orders so they were limited on what I can order. They may not have enough ingredients to fill their orders. Who tells a customer something like this? The young lady I spoke to that's who. I couldn't believe she told me they may not have enough ingredients. I would hope with catering orders they would plan ahead so they have enough food. Followed by we need to make sure we have enough to fill the catering orders first I use to enjoy eating and ordering from this location. Unfortunately, I've had one too many bad experiences with them, I'm not going to order from here anymore. They use to have juicy fall off the bone ribs and juicy chicken with seasoning. Customer service use to be great at the take out counter, now I'd rather not call and talk to anyone. Hopefully something changes.

Famous Dave's, you keep us coming back for those cornbread muffins. Every year I'm in Nevada, I order dozens from you. Especially for the holidays. Never fails, they are a hit. First time visiting this location on Blue Diamond. The restaurant looked bigger inside than I thought. I appreciate the location counter for pick up orders. Made things go smoothly. I arrived earlier than my said pick up time & you were able to accommodate me & fast too... Nice sized bar too! Since arriving earlier than expected, we ended up dining here. Ordered the Famous Feast. The Famous Feast for 2, was perfect for the 3 of us. Tasted good & good portion too. The chicken had some flavor & juicy, not dry. St. Louis Style Spare Ribs were good & the Brisket was good too... We liked the Famous Fries, Wilbur Beans & the Corn. Would definitely get those sides again. Loretta was our server this evening. Famous Dave's is the best Bar-B-Que place I had ever been to! The ribs are my absolute favorite. The service was amazing, I love how the furniture was nice, neat and has a unique theme.

Update: We had an excellent meal during this visit. We ordered the Famous Feast for Two and enjoyed it a lot. The coleslaw, beans, corn on the cob, potatoes and cornbread muffins were all perfect, the chicken was excellent, the ribs were really good, and the pork was tasty. Our party also ordered the Ultimate Burger, which was ridiculously huge and very delicious. Violet provided us good service. Some football games we're on their TVs as it was a late Sunday afternoon. Overall, we had an excellent visit.

Debra our server was awesome, she took good care of us and made us feel at home. She was smiling all the time and was a delightful person! I will come back just for her

Bomb BBQ! My mom loves ordering the BBQ Platter for get-togethers and they always hit the spot. The meat is good, especially the ribs and the cornbread muffins are amazing! This can easily feed a family of 4 or more especially with sides and other dishes. It's lit!

Food is always delicious!!! Tonight we had the cheese curds, Cedar Salmon & the 2 meat combo. We lived the cheese curds--- just the right amount for 2-3 people as an appetizer. It won't fill you up to the point you are too full for your entree. My favorite is the Cedar Salmon. The sauce they grill it with makes this dish! My husband said the brisket & Rib tips were tender and juicy! He initially thought he would need to order more but the portion was just right. Kelly was an excellent server! Best service we've had at this restaurant. Our drinks were filled in a timely manner, she was friendly, gave us great recommendations and took great care of us. The restaurant was clean and neat.

Nothing was horrible but nothing was as good as the famous Dave's at home. Very mediocre. Got the feast so sampled a lot. The cornbread muffins are my favorite and they were not good. Tasted funny.

The customer service is always amazing at location. Our go-to for the family is the All American barbecue feast. My lunch/ quick bite go to is the Burnt end sandwich. The buttery bun and perfectly cooked burnt ends are the best.

Claire was an excellent server and super helpful! Famous Dave's has always been our favorite place to go to! We enjoyed all of our food and the service was great.

We had a really good family experience here. The food was delicious and the service was good. Our toddler loved everything. The ribs were succulent and juicy. The brisket was flavorful and melt in your mouth. Even the sides of simply corn, Mac and cheese, beans, and cornbread were good. We got an upgraded side of loaded baked potato, which was addicting and so worth the upgrade. Seating was comfortable at the booth. There's lots of paper towels for messes. Would definitely come back.

Food: ordered x2 brisket sandwich plates. Mine with beans, partner's with mac and cheese. The buns were dry and stale, meat was dry and tough. Bbq sauce was tasty but, like... that's not enough. Mac and cheese was definitely not what I'd consider Mac and cheese. It had jalapeño and corn (?!) mixed in to it. The sauce was thick, goopy, broken, and not very cheesy. As a warm pasta salad it might have been fine, but as Mac and cheese it was probably the worst I've ever had. The bean were fine. Sweet with some meat mixed in. Not terrible, but a bit too sweet for my palate. But definitely the best thing we had during the meal. Service was nice, efficient, and friendly. The server brought refills before our drinks were empty.

Great food and service. Debra is always so attentive. Pulled pork and brisket are my favorites.

Everything we ordered was delicious and delivered fast. Our waitress was Debra and she was awesome! Definitely recommend this location.

Food was pretty good and service was awesome!! We had Debra as a server, she was very kind and thoughtful. I wasn't too much of a fan of the chili or the smell when we first walked in. It smelled like sewer and it was even stronger in the womens restroom. Besides that service and food was good! Especially the catfish and the sauces they have on the side. My favorite is most definitely devils spit! Thank you guys! Will return!!

I absolutely love eating here. The food is so flavorful and in my experience has always been cooked to perfection. The tri-tip meat and the catfish is my absolute favorite. I also like the cheese sausage and the hot links. Of course the ribs are amazing and so are the rib tips. I like to get both versions of macaroni and cheese. The spicy and the regular. The chili and cornbread is really good too. If you're ordering takeout, the service is really fast. If you're ordering in, the ambience is what you would expect. I i'm definitely coming back again and I recommend this place.

Love love love Famous Dave's. Never disappoints and this time it was even better with the great service that our Server Debra gave us. Only Bbq we will have that's not home made.

I tried to find a bang for my buck deal here and I have underestimated the portions here. It's an awesome environment. Also very nice caring staffs. When we needed something there was always a staff there to help. The sampler (appetizer) is filling by its self. Rib tips are the best. Our waitress " Kelly " is awesome and energetic.

The service was fair i just think someone needs to tell her to lower her volume she was a bit l hyper/loud.. The explanation of the food tray differences was a bit confusing so we ended up taking home a rather large order. I didn't think the meat was great Hubby did. The next day after frying it up in the air fryer the ribs tasted better to me! I just like the food/location that used to be of Grand Canyon and flamingo. Bring it back!!

My favorite place for happy hour and the best wings you'll ever have and the best rib tips. Always great service.

I'm not sure what ppl do not like about this place. It's my first time here in a long time. I ordered the Texas beef briskets, which was juicy and tender. It came with two sides. I ordered it with the spicy Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I think it really depends what you order and from other review recommendations, I ordered what I did. It also came with some corn bread and a slice of bread. My brother ordered the two dish combo, but forgot what he ordered. He seemed to enjoy his. The server was attentive and we waited about 20-25 minutes for our order. I think their bbq is fairly reasonable and it wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I may come back while I'm in the area and craving some bbq, perhaps try their lunch specials as well. The restaurant seemed spacious and looked like your typical bbq chain restaurant.

Every time I order my ribs naked, they give me the most raggedy rib bones. They are full of fat along with being the smallest piece. I used to call the store by my house, my FD's when people would complain how the ribs were bad. I was proud of my FD store. Not anymore. Ever since they changed management, it's gone to pots. I used to eat at the Blue Diamond store probably 3 or 4 times a month. Now, I'll go months before I eat there.

The meat quality was very poor it had way too much fat. We were so disappointed. Server did a good job and place was clean.

We love this place and make a point of visiting every time we come to Las Vegas. We look forward to sitting in Deborah's section. She actually remembers us. She has taken such good care of us and even remembers our orders now. When we were there she was serving the whole dining room single handedly. She was never flustered! She was visiting with everyone around us. We even heard her laughing with sone children in the booth next to ours. She creates a warm and inviting space. As always the kitchen backs her up with great food served hot and appetizingly. We can't wait to come back

Takeout order for Thanksgiving dinner with a pickup time of 1:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. It was excusable that they were busy and we're running about 15 minutes behind but when the food came out and was bagged up and given to me under temp and ribs were cold as well. Once I got at home I had to put it into the oven and cook it. The full size turkey had an inside temp of 119° and should have been 165°, the ribs were cold, the gravy and the potatoes cold as well. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have cooked everything myself and it would've for sure had a better result in flavor and proper temp. We thought we would try this option ordering out BUT Obviously, we will never do it again. It delayed our dinner and our guests had to wait for an unacceptable amount of time for a less than satisfying dinner.

Food is good , portion size is really good. The sampler has good varieties.Got the two choices of meat for me and my gf and it was good for us. My son loved the kids bbq rib. Our sever was awesome she gave good recommendations. We will be coming back soon when we get our bbq craving.

Went a bit early to beat the Father's Day dinner rush. Order took a bit to arrive though. Our family ordered the American Feast. Service was very good and kept up on drinks. We got very little of the brisket so I didn't get to have any brisket. But I had plenty of ribs and chicken. For sides we got mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and wedge fries with corn on the cob and corn bread muffins. Everything was good, I just wish they gave us a bigger portion of brisket.

Stopped here for lunch. Ordered BBQ Brisket Combo. What I was served was basically leftover pot roast. Very small portion and absolutely 0% BBQ flavor. For the sides I had mashed potatoes ( actually a tablespoon serving size) and the firecracker green beans (again a tablespoon portion) For the other lunch plate my girlfriend had the BBQ Chicken salad - This was nothing more than a side salad serving with leftover chicken sprinkled on top, again about a tablespoon of chicken. The best part were the corn muffins. Each of these lunch items were price at $11.00 or more. After drinks +tax+tip it equaled over $40. I am sorry to say that this was probably one of the worst quality/portion food experiences I have had. Service was fine- restaurant was clean but the food was unacceptable

We got a family feast for 2-3 people today and it was perfect. The amount of food for $50 was plenty for three and we even had some leftovers. The food was ready on time and our service was great. The establishment was clean and inviting and they answered the phone right away. I would definitely recommend doing this for a weekend lunch you can quickly grab and please everyone with. I'll definitely be back here. Especially to buy a pie this holiday season. I had no idea they sell a whole pie for $17. I was really happy with our experience today.

Delicious! We went for lunch and were served by John who said he was new at the restaurant. He was friendly, funny and provided great service. Our food came fast, too. I had the side salad which was almost a full meal for me and the brisket sandwich which was super tasty. I'll definitely be going back.

Been going to the Blue Diamond Rd location for years. Always great service from our server Kelly! Very friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure.

Came here with family for a nice evening dining out, and this place hit the spot!! We got the all-American bbq feast, which was absolutely plentiful for our whole party of 4.5! I have to shout out our waitress, Josi, because she was ABSOLUTELY spectacular! Personable, friendly to our whole party, helped us out with anything we needed, offered fantastic recommendations, and was just a great conversationalist! We absolutely left full and with smiles on our faces! Food - delicious! I loved the ribs and the cornbread, and on Josi's recommendation we got the bread pudding - it was to die for!!! She really nailed it with the Wilbur's revenge hot sauce recommendation for the spice lovers in our party; she brought over a sample, they loved it, and we left with a bottle to take home!! Coleslaw was delicious, beans were great, my daughter loved her burger. The hot links weren't my thing but the men in our group loved it. Drinks were great and our cups were never empty! All in all, would absolutely come back again! Next time I'm coming for that banana pudding! Thank you again, Josi!

Ate here yesterday. Not sure if it was an odd day or something, but there was nobody eating in. Was pretty dissatisfied. Seems like the brisket was barely even microwaved or was sitting and waiting for it to be brought over. Good overall didn't seem fresh. Sad that it was a $54 bill and I could've got that pollo loco instead and felt like the food was fresher. Just felt like a rip off.

Carson was our server. He was great! I ordered the two meats and sides. The meats were the catfish (just okay) and the chicken (tiny piece and kinda tough). The sides were the firecracker green beans (limp, over cooked) and the garlic mashed (arrived cold). I tried the black cherry lemonade and it was delicious. A tad too sweet, but still good. I've been to Famous Dave's before and it was good, so I'd ve willing to return though the food wasn't that great this time. In fact, I had to leave here to go somewhere else to eat and get full. Again, Carson was great and he deserves a raise. Thanks Carson!

Waitress was very nice. Recommended us the brisket nachos and they were amazing. The ribs and smoked sausages were delicious! I asked for a side of butter and it made the corn bread muffin perfect.

Despite the lack of attentive service (probably due to under staffing), Famous Daves does not disappoint. I sat at the bar and got a drink with burnt ends. It was delicious! Fun decor in the restaurant too. Will come back when I'm in the area.

I always enjoy going to Famous Dave's for some real good BBQ which are all cooked perfectly and kept juicy! They have a few different sauces my favorite being the Devil's Spit for a bit of heat. Come on a Tuesday and you can get the Feast 4 Two platter slightly discounted. They keep the music at a nice volume so it can be heard, but you can still talk at your table. The servers and all the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions.
