Drove to LB for the AYCE chicken wing deal. It was alright. Super dim. Floors sticky. Waters/Sodas took forever. They were not very busy. Cornbread was great. Liked the flavor of the wings, Buffalo. Very underwhelming first experience.

Very disappointing experience. The brisket was extremely tough and nearly impossible to chew… it felt like it had been smoked days ago and reheated. To make matters worse, not once did the server check in to ask how our food was or offer refills. Overall, the quality and service were far below expectations.

I went to the restaurant and the menu had some delicious looking food however, when my food came, all I had is four piece of chicken, cornbread beans, and fries. How can that possibly be messed up? I will tell you how the chicken appeared to look like some cooked up I don’t know what but I couldn’t even take a bite into the chicken because it was so hard that we would’ve probably broken my teeth, and when I peeled it with those burnt crispy things off the bone, I looked, and the bone was burnt. Only in my thought was that this had been cooked and re-cooked it was horrible. I couldn’t eat. The only reason I’m given the staff of one star is cause I was seated. I can’t give a star on the restaurant. There’s no stars for the food and when I had mentioned this to my waitress and the young man waiter, he just rolled his eyes like whatever and walked away, and then both of them just laughed at that point I asked for the manager who wanted to look at the food and I’m showing her actually I picked up the chicken and said could you eat this? I was refunded the meal. You don’t have to do this and then I’m gonna refund everything except the soda. I’ll comp the meal but not the soda. OK that’s fine. Weird but OK I do not recommend this restaurant within five minutes of leaving. I had taken a couple bites into the cornbread. I was immediately sick. I felt like I had food poisoning from the corn bed and the bite. I did eat from the inside of the chicken Perhaps if it was chicken. I had tried to take a bite from the inside of the chicken, but it was so hard. It couldn’t be chewed, but I was immediately sick for a few hours after you eaten those few bites if I could even call them and bites of whatever that was, that was on my plate because it did not look like Chicken.

Went to famous Dave’s my boyfriend hyped it up, I’m assuming he hadn’t been there in years. When we first walked it the atmosphere was kinda homey southern. We requested the bar so we can watch a game, and we were told we can immediately sit for the bar. When at the bar there is no a/c, when I tell you I was so hot it was bad. I went to the ladies room and found out there was a code ( which is fine, I’m from Montana we don’t have that lol) once in the bathroom I was immediately sick to my stomach you can smell the stench from outside the door, there was piss and water all over the floor, most toilets had gross stuff in them, and it looks like it had not been clean for a weeks. After bathroom we decided to go to dining area to eat since the bar was so hot. We had to wait 15 minutes for the dining area even though there was about 5-8 tables open. When we sat we already knew what we wanted. I order hot wings and mashed potatoes, my boyfriend order the two meat combo. I got my buffalo wings right away, they were okay the potatoes were bland. My boyfriend’s meal took way longer to come out, when we looked for our waitress to come out she was no where to be found for 10 minutes. We finally flagged her down, and she explained they only had two cooks ( that’s fine.) When boyfriend got meal, he commented stating the food was bland and he was disappointed. I chose to write this long review cause something definitely needs to be done about the service and the care of this restaurant. Disappointed. Especially seeing how much we paid .

Four people were in our group. It took 20+ minutes for the first two meals to come out. More than 10 minutes later the second two meals finally came out, but they were cold. The flavor was good but the burnt ends were chewy and fatty. Told the waitress, she apologized but the manager never stopped by our table. Sides were good but that’s not enough of a reason to go back. I do not recommend this restaurant.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? If you’re in the mood for some unforgettable BBQ, Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que is a must-visit, especially if you’re coming from out of town! I was visiting from Dallas, TX, and after hearing rave reviews from my uncle, I had to give it a try. I ordered the All American Platter but swapped the fried chicken for Bar-B-Q chicken, and it was a fantastic decision. The food was absolutely amazing! The ribs and beans were full of flavor—definitely “to die for.” And let me tell you, those cornbread muffins were the real stars: soft, sweet, and with just a touch of heat—so good they are “to kill for.” Honestly, I wish we had a Famous Dave’s in Dallas because I’d be there all the time. The atmosphere was also spot on: peaceful, relaxed, and welcoming, perfect for enjoying great food. I’m really hoping this location is still around next time I visit California because it’s already on my list for a return trip. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and get the All American Platter—you won’t be disappointed!

It was great in the past. However, when I went with my parents on March 20, 2023, the waitress Lupita was a good server, but sadly, on the other hand, I was very disappointed with how the ribs and brisket turned out because the ribs were lacking meat and the brisket were a bit stiff, which I was especially disappointed with the brisket being stiff, and even worse, the manager didn't care. And now, when I went with my parents on Saturday, May 10, 2025, my parents thought the ribs were so-so, but the brisket rolls and egg rolls, on the other hand, were too chewy and not crunchy at all, the menu didn't show the prices for the appetizers, and the server never came back to ask if we needed water or anything else like any waiters and waitresses would normally do. With all that being said, my parents decided we're never coming back again. (sad sighs) Such a sad, sad shame that the quality of their food and their service nosedived and went downhill.

I was there for lunch around 12pm or so. The food that I ordered was super salty ( it was Dave’s signature sandwich meal). Also the presentation of the food is just throwing things on the plate. The lemonade drink is kinda ok. The server was friendly. The atmosphere of the place is nice.
