Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

My friend took me to lunch here, and the experience was wonderful. I'm not a BBQ connoisseur, but we enjoyed everything. The service was prompt. The combo was more than enough for the two of us.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? If you’re in the mood for some unforgettable BBQ, Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que is a must-visit, especially if you’re coming from out of town! I was visiting from Dallas, TX, and after hearing rave reviews from my uncle, I had to give it a try. I ordered the All American Platter but swapped the fried chicken for Bar-B-Q chicken, and it was a fantastic decision. The food was absolutely amazing! The ribs and beans were full of flavor—definitely “to die for.” And let me tell you, those cornbread muffins were the real stars: soft, sweet, and with just a touch of heat—so good they are “to kill for.” Honestly, I wish we had a Famous Dave’s in Dallas because I’d be there all the time. The atmosphere was also spot on: peaceful, relaxed, and welcoming, perfect for enjoying great food. I’m really hoping this location is still around next time I visit California because it’s already on my list for a return trip. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and get the All American Platter—you won’t be disappointed!

The brisket was tender. Their serving per platter was just right. We did not take a photo of the 8 oz rib eye steak which was a little on the rare side than medium. It was on a bed of thin onion rings or strings, very good. Prices are fair, and our server was excellent.

Great staff! Awesome food! Dropped in for a random late meal and had cocktail and nachos, and ribs. Not to mention Thursday's promo $2/rib.

We came in and thr manager wrote down our names and told us we'd be seated in just a few minutes. 10 minutes later another couple walks in and are greeted by the hostess. She seats them immediately. We had to go stand at the host stand for another 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. They seat us in a place where the wind blasts through the openings in the door. It was as if there were a gust of wind blowing around our table constantly. The poor service just continues from there while we watch everyone else get infinitely better treatment around the restaurant. We have never been here before. We will never go back.

Best BBQ, best Mac, best Brisket in town. Just go, you won't regret it. Solid happy hour wing deals too!

Was in the area and saw the wing special sign and decided to come in. Restaurant has an awesome vibe and decor and the staff were great! Wings were absolutely delicious. Collection of sauces from mild to super hot were available right infront of you to use. Highly recommended for anyone craving wings in the area!

My husband and I stumbled upon Famous Dave's for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. Cassandra, our server, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. My husband opted for the 2 meat platter, choosing the mouthwatering combination of Texas Beef Brisket and Southside Rib Tips, served with a side of fries. I decided to go for the Chicken Chopped Salad with BBQ pulled chicken, which was absolutely delicious. We both couldn't resist the irresistible Cornbread muffin that came with our meal. Cassandra, with her persuasive charm, convinced us to try the bread pudding and ice cream for dessert. And oh boy, it was the best decision we made! The flavors were simply divine. We can't recommend Famous Dave's enough for a great dining experience.
