Famous Hamburger

Delicious food, great burgers & tots. Prices are high because portions are huge, with giant salads/sides. We spent $120+ for six of us and took half of it home, because after sharing an appetizer and eating our salad, we were too stuffed to even eat the darn burger. If I'd known this ahead of time, we would have ordered one burger for every two people. Good thing the buns reheat well.

I was so impressed by the quality here! It’s way nicer than your average burger joint. We went in hungry and every bit was delicious—from the California Burger to the onion rings. A huge shout-out for the crisp, fresh salad and the house ranch, which is incredible. If you want a great burger in a warm, cozy setting, this is the spot.

Absolutely terrible experience. Girlfriend got a bbq burger with out the burger. The service they just were on the phone the whole time wasn’t busy but still got most of order wrong. Won’t be coming back the one in Dearborn is miles better

Place is amazing! Cozy, warm and food really good. Way nicer than other burgers joints and is a blend between sit down and fast food Burgers. Got the California Burger (amazing) and the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potatoes waffle fries. So good! We were really hungry so we also got their tossed salad and onion rings on the side. Their ranch is out of this world good and their veggies are crisp and fresh. Highly recommend this place!

My son and I went here for a little afternoon date, since he loves burgers. We got Mac and cheese bites and mozzarella sticks for apps. They were good, but I didn’t live the Mac and cheese bites, but my son did. The mozzarella sticks were a bit undercooked and didn’t have any pull to them. They have graphics with Coca Cola signage all over the restaurant but they only serve Pepsi. I was very disappointed because I hate Pepsi. My son and I both got the smash burger, but I added fried egg to mine. I got sweet potato waffle fries and he just got waffle fries. The burgers and fries were both very good. We’ve ordered take out before and the fries get soggy. But definitely recommend eating there for fresher food. Our server was on top of things and very friendly.

First time being here and the food was decent and fresh for the price paid, and the service was great and punctual. The Onion Rings are truly recommended and the sweet potatoe waffle fries are super good. The Chicken wings are super crispy and a great lunch choice. Great spot for a fulfilling burger with plenty of additions available.

This place was awesome! Very cozy and nice inside with excellent and friendly service. The girls working the front were incredibly nice and very attentive. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I loved the Mac and cheese bites and the nachos were great too. I had a smash burger which was delicious. We also had the Nutella shake which was incredible. Considering the amount of food (two burgers, two appetizers, and a milk shake plus one drink), only spending about $60 was a fantastic value. We will be here again when we're in the area.

I got the Cheese Burger and Tater Tots, and my husband got the cheeseburger and Waffle Fries. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but both of our bottom buns were cold. We also felt that it was a bit overpriced ($15 a burger), and feel that the burgers could have been a little bit more tasty for the price. The place was very clean and the stuff was very nice and accommodating.

Amazing!! Smash burger with bacon and waffle fries. The service was awesome, restaurant was clean, and food was delicious. Better than Five Guys and a better price. I'll be back for sure.

Just bought one Swiss mushroom burger with additional beef patty and regular fries Location is on 44011 ford rd canton mi my order was 21.84 dollars Unfortunately my fries was mixed with old and new fries The meat had a fishy smell to it also they charged my credit card surcharge of 3.00 percent without my permission I am very unhappy Maysa

Quality of the food was awesome. Service was excellent. Clean restaurant. We ordered 2 Juicy Lucy's, 1 smash burger, BBQ Burger. All were well seasoned, juicy and cooked just liked we requested. Sweet potato waffle fries were a hit! Onion rings were crispy and huge. You won't be disappointed with this burger place.

Nobody does burgers like Famous, the size of the burgers is superior, the variety and the flavor! All that and the prices are so reasonable!!

Took the kids out here for a burger outing. We ordered a few cheeseburger combos and a chicken tender combo as my youngest one does not eat burgers. The burgers were fine. I would have for s bigger size portion for the French fries and meat patty. Also, for the size that they serve, their prices are somewhat steep. Nonetheless, it's another burger option with different varieties of burgers and they do serve halal options. They do stamp their buns with their logo

Great food, as usual, and the staff are helpful and attentive. They opened the doors 6 minutes early for us. Nice and quiet for a lunch.

3rd time is a charm they say. 1st visit was delicious. 2nd visit I decided not to order after arriving a few minutes after 2pm and was informed that the special had ended at 2pm. Visited a few days ago and ordered carry out. The service was excellent however I can't say the same for the food. My bacon cheeseburger and onion rings looked fine but wasn't even room temperature. I drove only a short distance to get home. Unsure if the food was just sitting around or if the paper container for carry outs was inefficient. Very disappointing.

After passing by here several times I decided to stop in for lunch. There is a lunch special of a Cheeseburger and Fries for $8.99 so I decided to have that. It. Was. Delicious! It ranks up pretty high as one of my favorite burgers! The service was very good, too. It wasnt busy when I was there for lunch and I do t know how the dinner crowd is but hope they are doing well because Famous Hamburgers needs to be a staple business on Ford Road!

This was my first time ordering from the Famous Hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised on how the good the bun was, kinda a fluffy soft bun, the patty, red onion, mustard and ketchup made it a good burger. The friends were good as well.

The food is amazing, so fresh and tasty, perfectly cooked. Best burger I've had in ages, fries are so crunchy, seasoned perfectly. Not greasy, like most fast food places. I've had the Kale Salad today and it's delicious! The service is amazing, everyone greets you with a smile and prompt to help you and get you what you ordered. Really can't rave enough about this restaurant!

Every time I get this it's hot, you can taste the freshness and the burger has flavor, never sloppy, fries are always crispy. It's hard nowadays to find a place that's consistent but this place is. Much recommend

My wife and I stopped here, after shopping at Lowes across the street. Having never heard of Famous Burger, we decided to give it a try. Well, let me tell you, even though we can be snobbish about hamburgers...it was AWESOME! *The hamburgers were juicy, delicious, with fresh toppings, soft buns, etc. *The onion rings and tater tots were crunchy and well prepared. * Our server Layla was exceptional. She knew about the restaurants history, was very receptive when offering suggestions, and did an overall exceptional job. * We spoke with the owner, who was very kind, appreciative of the compliments. * Although, I did not use the restroom, the dining room looked very clean and kept. All-in-all, we WILL be coming back and WILL let our friends and family know about our pleasurable experience at Famous Hamburger.

Took my grandson there before he left for college. He and I had the Famous burger. He had onion rings and I had the straight fries. My wife had a wrap and onion rings she had ice tea and my grandson and I had water. Total bill was $50.00 before tip. My burger was so sloppy that I couldn't pick it up. I asked for some utensils and all I got was a plastic fork. I had to eat the burger without the bun with the fork. My opinion grossly over priced, and really not that good.

We decided we wanted hamburgers for dinner and choose to give this place a try!!! So glad we came here. It's cute inside and they play catchy music!! The burgers are messy but tasted really good. The onion rings were done perfectly and were not too greasy!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue is the parking is very limited. If your looking for great you need to give this place a try!!

We had an impromptu stop here with our kids. It was 30 minutes before closing so we did carry out. The fries travel well and are just fantastic, golden crisp on the outside and a soft flavorful center.Everyone enjoyed their burgers, cooked to perfection with generous toppers. The pina colada shake sang love songs to my soul. The service was friendly and accommodating even though they were closing soon-. We will be back! -Toledo

Great food and solid Service for to go! I have not had the chance to Dine in but for to go orders the ladies were nice, quick, and the food was great! Canton is lacking good customer service in the food industry but this place has found a way to keep it around! Thank you!

Definitely recommend this place in Canton if you are looking for Halal burger options. The cheese burgers are a delight while I would also recommend you try the Chipotle Chicken Wrap if you are looking at alternatives. I think the drinks aren't bad either. Have mostly done take out so cannot speak much of the ambiance but the service at pick up has never given me a reason to complain.

A+ Great hot pretzel - plenty of cheese sauce, Great Mushroom Swiss burger, good sweet potato waffle fries, good chocolate malt. Fabulous service!

We usually go to the Dearborn location, but decided to try carry out from the Canton location. The online ordering process was quick and easy. The pick up time was quick. The location seems clean and efficient, as our order was ready in perfect time. The food was great as expected. The staff was great. And the prices are pretty reasonable. Overall great experience.

My husband and I decided we were in the mood for a good burger today , we had never tried Famous Hamburger so we decided today we would get Take Out Tuesday from their Ford road location. I had the burger with egg and my husband had the Philly burger, we had regular FF and onion rings. Let me just say that we were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful including the staff. Thank you for being at work during these trying times. We will be back and we will tell our friends Stay safe

Had lunch here for the first time today. Met my daughter around 1130. Good time to come in as we were done in customers 3 and 4. Place is very clean. Looked like the owner was training a new wait person so we were hoping for the best. She was very prompt and friendly. We ordered a chicken caesar salad and a bacon cheese burger with the side being a caesar salad. Burgers come with fries or your choice of 4 other sides. Chicken caesar salad was pretty large and for 11 dollars it should have been. The bacon cheese burger came with the Famous sauce on it which is pretty much a very sweet BBQ sauce. I also got a order of fries by surprise/mistake. They were hot but just okay. The burger was also just okay. Do not think it is a bad burger, as others have stated, but it is not a great burger either. Mine was medium well and had no gristle in it. The burger and side with a drink was 11.50. The menu has over a dozen pre-combined choices of burger so there is something for everyone. They also have a fish sandwich, Coke and Pepsi products, shakes and malts, and a kid's menu. My opinion is that there are better burgers out there but this is not a bad choice. So there you have it. On a side note, I am glad we got in when we did. Shortly after our arrival about 20 customers walked in including a party of 12-14. After getting water, a separate party of 6 got up and left. Not sure if it was do to slow service or not but we did observe that orders coming out of the kitchen were few and far between. All being said I think you have to try this place out and see for yourself.

They just opened in Canton, so my husband and I stopped in to give them a try. The food was excellent. Very good quality meat in their hamburgers. The service was top-notch as well! We will definitely return!

This place was a cute hamburger restaurant. Had lots of options that catered to different groups of people. I enjoyed their black bean burger and they also had great regular burgers. Their kale salad is really good as well.

It's always fun to try a new burger place, sometimes!There is very limited parking here especially for larger vehicles. The waitress and the staff all seem to work well with each other and very friendly. Kudos for that! The food however is a different story. I ordered the 4 mini burgers and the straight fries for my one side order. The so called meat/beef had an odd smell to it and had pieces of gristle in it and not much of a flavor. Onions are cheap, you can add more then two. A little pricy for the quality of the food they serve. The bun was dry and to big for such a small burger. The fries were perfect and even still warm after 10 minutes. Thumbs up here! The mac & cheeses bites were also good along with ranch on the side. I didn't realize that pepper Jack cheese was spicy and this is used in the mac & cheese. The place was busy and I felt a little pressure to leave. Not a cozy place to hang! I will skip this place in the future.

This place is horrible; will NOT last. The fries are not seasoned. Taste like bowling alley fries, but not as good. Burger is not seasoned. The toppings are on the bottom, not the top. All you taste is an unflavorful burger. Burger and fries were both frozen. Patties are pressed way too thin. Outside was burnt and my patty was still medium (I ordered well done). Pop is flat. It comes from a gun; not much carbonation. A big Buford from Rally's/Checkers tastes MUCH better. (We both ordered famous burgers, $12.50 each.) Barely any toppings.. This place is very expensive too, especially for what you get. Go to Arby's across the street. Arby's kills this place and is cheaper. Burger King, McDonald's, Applebees, all better. This is literally the WORST burger we both have ever had at a restaurant. In business almost 50 years? Idk how...must not have been much competition where it started. First and last time....horrible. Can cook at home and it'll be much better.

The burgers were dry wine taste artificial I don't like that they stamp their burgers with their logo the fries were dry and brittle and I pay a lot of money for this burger that doesn't even match up to McDonald's so I will never go there again

My daughter and I visited Famous Hamburger. She ordered the cheeseburger with fries and I ordered the Juicy Lucy with waffle fries and let me tell you, if you are a lover of a great American burger, give this place a try. The burgers were cooked exactly how we asked. The only room for improvement is the bun did get a bit soggy, but it was juicy and delicious.

Two expensive for my taste, burger, fries and soft drink came to about 17 bucks. No more for me.

$5 for impossible patty substitution. Haven't mentioned it anywhere in the menu. Taste is good overall.

I have many food allergies and I can eat here and not worry about getting sick. There kitchen staff rocks!!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great hamburger.

Solid burger! I had the Swiss Mushroom Burger with onion rings and Diet Pepsi. First bite I knew the burger was going to be good as I could taste the flavor of the burger itself. I also liked the lettuce, tomato, onions, and sauce. The onion rings were solid too. They were breaded just right. They have Pepsi products from the fountain and coke products in bottles.

If you want a completely tasteless cheeseburger this is your place. The fries were old too. SO BUMMED!!!! The one on Canton Center was so good. This burger didn't taste like anything at all except maybe ketchup and mustard. I couldn't even taste the cheese. On a positive note the smoothie was really good and the girl at the counter was really nice!!!!

This halal burger joint is AMAZING!!! If you need a burger this is the place. I ordered the Swiss Cheese burger which is what you expect but better. Service is Amazing expect Dine I'm opened yesterday. So, go here for a Great Burger. And leave them a tip. They need it because of the Pandemic.

I was interested in a good burger while I was in the Serra and definitely should have took my money somewhere else. Burger was okay and my sweet potato waffle fries were bland and burnt(Didn't finish them). I will pass on this franchise, I really expected better.

I tried the Famous Hamburger on Canton Center Rd and I liked it, so I ordered to deliver at the one on Ford Rd and kinda disappointed. I ordered 2 famous burgers, but they weren't like the ones I tried before. Without the burger outside, they just used the lettuces wrap outside to cover the meat and egg. The inside was good, but because I like their special bread, that's why I ordered them.

We absolutely love the burgers at this place. The waffle fries are our absolute favorite. It's a nice place to dine in, the staff is always friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in for an Impossible Burger. It wasn't on the menu so i asked and server said they did have them. I didn't ask the price but just assumed they would be similarly priced to beef burgers. With fries and nothing to drink my order was $15 plus tax. I did like that i could order iceberg lettuce as a bun. But could have gotten same thing at Burger King with no tip for 1/3 the price. Taste, food prep and service were all great.

Good food and nice variety, but probably too pricey if you're not looking for something special.

We have visited this restaurant twice in the last few weeks. We thought the food was very good and the portions were large. They give you a ton of french fries or tator tots with your burger. I had a few different types of salads along with a veggie burger or bean burger. They were both good. The prices were a bit higher than expected but the quality was there. The parking lot needs to be bigger. Both times the wait staff was very good. We just wish that they mailed us coupons with it being a new restaurant. We will go back in the future.

First time at the newer location and I must say, I will use the other locations instead. Parking first, was a b****. Tight parking lot and it is off of a dirt road so watch your vehicle and potholes. Inside is simple and somewhat cramped if you come with larger parties. This is not a place to bring your family due to tight constraints. Next we will start with waitress who was very nice. Food, burgers are overpriced. Mini sliders are undercooked and not seasoned. They stiff you on the french fries which is a shame as potatoes are much cheaper than beef. All in all I will not use this location and they are trying to compensate for high rent and overcharge their customers and inconvenience me with parking and claustrophobic seating. They also did not have ketchup on tables and booth, which we had to ask for and that is sad to say for a burger joint. STEP YOUR GAME UP!!

Especially clean and prepared to satisfy your hunger. Fast reliable food served with detail to sanitation. Oh did I mean the fresh taste burgers, delicious. Reccomendation for bacon, cheese burger!

The manager is Disrespectful to his hardworking employees. Food is overpriced and you could probably find a better burger place in the area.

I was looking forward to their hamburger and was happy they were open late on Christmas eve. I ordered my hamburger without sauce due to my severe egg allergy. To my dismay after my first bite I realized there was the special sauce on my burger. I spent the night sick. Please pay attention to special orders.

I went to try this new burger place in canton. While I was their I saw the pricing for the food was really over compared to the other burger places around canton, I still gave it a shot maybe it worth the price. But it wasn't just another generic burger trying to act gourmet save ur time and money and go somewhere else. Also, while I was their something between an employ and manger went down. I talked to the ex employ after what had happened he said the store owner wasn't treating the younger employs fairly cause of a mistake in the register and firing them on the spot. Also, the owner was trying not to pay them for their work they already done. He said that's why their was a commotion in the restaurant. I wouldn't want any families to be in this toxic environment this store owner puts these employees in. Overall Generic over priced burger and bad owner running the place.
