Fan T'Asia is in a small food hall named Ph' east. The food is good Chinese food. We had Mongolian Chicken - good. We never had Mongolian chicken before, only Mongolian beef It had the Mongolian flavor. Taiwanese fried chicken- very good. Spicy Stir fried green beans - nice and light with good simple flavor. Just how I like. The staff was super nice and answered all of our questions. The only downside was the price. I thought it was a little months high side for all the dishes I understand that the rent and expenses must be very high. It is in the category of a special day or night out as it is part of The Battery at Braves Stadium. It is the best price of all the places at the food hall. We enjoyed the food and will be back next year !!

Extraordinary experience!!! We had a blast, and a savory explosion of deliciousness in our mouths with every outstanding dish we tried. Owner Muling Zhao went above and beyond and treated us like family! Her friendliness, attentive attitude, and detailed service made our day. We HIGHLY recommend the Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mandarin Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Green Beens, and the NEW CHINESE-PUERTORRICAN FRIED RICE!!! A MUST HAVE, and FanT’Asia is the ONLY place that you can get it in Atlanta… AMAZING!!!

I did not look at reviews prior to eating at Fant’asia and I’m glad that I didn’t. My experience seemed to be much better than others who have written reviews recently. The food was very good and the service was great too. My food was brought out to my seat which was a nice touch in a food hall type setting. The portion size of the vegetable lo mein was huge and I brought home 3/4 of the plate. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is the crab Rangoon— there was not much filling so for the most part you are eating the wontons with the sauce. I would still come back for the lo mein though.

Food is delicious and fresh; unique flavors. Try the fried rice puertorican style…brought back memories. Want to try more dishes!

I made a decision to eat here as I was out and about in the Battery. I didn’t read the reviews first. Disgusting is an understatement. First bite was into COLD, like freezer cold broccoli. They didn’t bother to even warm it up. The inside of the egg rolls were mushy and the general tso chicken was super crunchy and flooded in sauce. The rice was edible but lacked flavor. Not worth $20, not worth any dollars!!! This food is in no way cooked fresh or even same day.

Google
I order the orange chicken for about $20 and it was all breading and sauce, there was barely any chicken. The broccoli was cold. The rice tasteless. Worst meal I’ve had in the battery.

Google
I'm always looking for new places to eat Chinese wings, so I decided to try this spot that I found after searching "crispiest Chinese wings Atlanta." It did not disappoint! They are a honey glaze that is a little bit spicy, and sooo crispy! I wasn't planning on getting anything else, but when I saw the menu I had to! I got a hot and sour soup, which was both hot and spicy, great dark brown thick broth with tofu and big chunks of egg and water chestnuts. I also got the salt and pepper tofu. It was AMAZING. I am a fan of the style and have had it all over town and this is probably my 2nd favorite after SoBa now! Truly a hard title to earn! And the spice combination they put on top is just.. *chef's kiss* I'll be coming back often!

Google
- I requested orange shrimp, which isn’t on the menu but the cashier was happy to do it for me for the same price as the orange chicken. -It was tasty though, too hot too eat at first, had a bit too much sauce in the bowl as if my orange shrimp was sitting in a soup getting soggy. -The broccoli was cold, and not even cooked or heated up. -The rice was okay but needed some sauce for flavor.

Yelp
Located in the battery area this is just one of several places to catch an Asian bite to eat located all in one place right across from Jenny's ice cream. This is a location that has 4 or 5 different eateries all rolled up in side here plus a full bar area, communal seating, and a bunch of TVs. My youngest ordered chicken fried rice from here. It was a reasonable price came out quick and was pretty good.Lots of chicken no big clumps of onion and it was not over cooked. The nice part was each of the kids were able to order what they wanted from a different place due to the multiple venues located under one roof.

Mel L.

Yelp
Rice was a small portion but it was flavorful! I was pretty shocked because it looked bland but seasoned! The owner gave me an extra scoop so I left happy! The sesame chicken was good as well & my food was fresh & hot! No complaints! If you are in the area ~ give them a try

Yelp
Came to battery for first time, stoked about trying this place out. Going to be real, they have menus but there are stuff they don't have or serve anymore so have some backups ready. Got the mapo tofu, and was so delicious. Was filled with soft tofu, spice was perfect, veggies were well balanced. Got the steamed buns for my wife, she says they were good but she believes we get the same ones from H Mart, so she wasn't super impressed but said it was good for a snack before a baseball game. So a key here, go to the poke place, get that sushi corn dog, get the mapo tofu, and munch. The fried sushi rice mixed with the spice and super soft tofu is a perfect contrast in texture and soaks the spice up so nice.

Emma B.

Yelp
Meh, agree with the reviews on here. Should have gone to the Thai place next door. Got the beef and peppers, was mainly green peppers and overly sweet sauce (as already stated), for a $20 price point.

Jasmine P.

Yelp
The portion size a rice is a kids meal and the crab Rangoon is solely cream cheese with a dash of imitation crab. Oh and I did not receive any sweet chili for the Rangoon, just two small packets of chili sauce. The sauce for the shrimp and broccoli has too much sesame oil you can taste it.

Dazziyah M.

Yelp
I love Chinese food, but I feel like this food is kind of a knock off version. It didn't fully give me the experience of "Chinese food". But the service was great. We got a buzzer to get notified when our food was ready. Unfortunately my beef from my Mongolian beef was chewy and I got a very small serving of beef. I was told the sesame chicken was okay. This place is in a building called Ph'east which has multiple little restaurants inside. The inside everywhere is pretty though.

Joanna R.

Yelp
This is my go to spot and the owner is a great guy lot of false reviews on here every time I get food here it's 100% The prices are Battery prices your next to the stadium for crying out loud. This place is where you wanna go I'm a season ticket holder so I'm there all the time Food 5 stars staff 5 stars Location 5 stars price 4 1/2 stars but I only go to Fan T'Asia when I want Chinese oh and they are on all the deliveries apps Hope to see you there after a game one day

Ellie R.

Yelp
I personally did not order from here, but I did eat off of what my boyfriend got. When he asked the employee at the register, she did recommend more of the appetizers than the main dishes. He had the Taiwanese Chicken Nuggets and the Pork Bao Buns. I ate a bit of each. The nuggets are tasty, but did have a lot of seasoning on top. I liked the bell peppers in it though. The Pork Bao Buns were my favorite and I would go back for them. I am traveling to Atlanta from elsewhere, and this is the only a spot I've been to where there is genuine Bao buns. The buns themselves were well done, the dough was the perfect consistency, and there was a good ratio of dough to filling. I would probably order again from this location for the appetizers, and because the employee at the register gave well done customer service.

Anna L.

Yelp
One of the worst Asian place I've been to. Price was ridiculous. I got the chicken and onion and it was so bad. Too sweet. Too overpriced. Nothing on the menu was reasonably priced. Barely any chicken in my plate. Mostly onion and bell peppers. So not worth it. Never going to back. Do not recommend.

Yelp
Absolute worst Asian food I've ever had. Spent $50 for fried rice, crab Rangoon, and 2 small steamed buns (and oh a bottle of water and a can of coke). It was for me and my kid and this food went straight to the trash. Fried rice was tasteless and the ingredients were so low quality. The peas were gross - it tasted like freezer burn. The consistency were so gross also - it was disgustingly mushy. It's like as if they severely overcooked and over watered the rice to begin with ... then recooked it under low heat (which is not the right way to cook fried rice) then tossed a bunch of freezer burnt ingredients then steamed (which is again not the right way to cook fried rice) all the frozen veggies and meats inside with some soy sauce and voila - you have mushy, watery, tasteless $20 fried rice. Legit - Panda Express is 1000% better than this. Hell, ANY Chinese food inside the mall would've been much better than this (yikes!!) Crab Rangoons on the other hand was super dry. This also had some kind of freezer burn or weird taste to it. The filling also was just unpleasant - like they were trying to put a "spin" to it, but failed. It's like they mixed mustard and cream cheese together? Then it came with a chili dip that didn't go well with it. It's like one of those Top Chef inventions that maybe sounded good in theory, but the execution was just bad. The steamed buns was also just as horrible. The consistency on the outside of the steamed bun was like plastic - as if it was microwaved 3 days ago and stayed in a warmer. The filling was pretty tasty, but it wasn't enough for me to get over the terrible overall consistency. So there it is. Hot damn it - I was really looking forward to eating here. I keep hearing good things about the food stalls here, and the first one I went to was not only super expensive (which I expected since it is in the park), but the fact that we couldn't eat any of it was just so disappointing. I was trying to power through and convince myself to eat the food cuz I was like, dammit this was FIDDY DOLLARS!!! Yarrrr... lol. But in the end, I couldn't, so it was all trashed. Now, there was One good experience - it was the cashier. They were super nice and sweet. I forgot my drinks when I grabbed a table outside with my toddler and they took it there for me and even chatted with my kid. So shout out to the kind cashier :) they're honestly the reason why I didn't even ask for a refund - I wanted to save them the embarrassment. All in all, i can't stress enough how this is the worst Asian food I've ever had. I do hope things get better because I live across the street and would really love to have a new go-to restaurant.

Yelp
We ordered the vegetable lo mein. It was tasty and surpassingly not too greasy. Sometimes, lo mein is too heavy and greasy but this one was not. This place did a great job with balancing flavors with authenticity. This place is one of the food stalls at the Ph'East Food Hall in the Battery. The food was made quickly and it was freshly made. The Food Hall is a great place for a chill lunch with the family.

Audra D.

Yelp
Delicious food and great customer service! the atmosphere is a whole experience and it is one of our favorite places to visit while in Atlanta.

Yelp
So thrilled to have this Asian food hall in the Cobb Galleria area - it's their first full week, and we decided to hit this one b/c we're big fans of BoBo Garden. As expected for the first week, it was a little chaotic in the front and the food orders took a little time but as the lunch hour passed, they got some additional staffing which helped a great deal. Lunch prices are reasonable and portions are good too - apps were mostly $4.99 and $6.99, entrees mostly $10.99 and veggie dishes $6.90. STEAM DUMPLING - $4.99 for 5 pcs There were pretty good. SESAME CHICKEN - $10.99 Honestly your typical Chinese American dish ... pretty good, and also came with broccoli and white rice. Not something I'd order myself though, haha. SALT PEPPER TOFU - $10.99 Also pretty good - even better when it's still hot. Definitely helps to eat w/ the crunchy toppings b/c that's where the flavor's at. My co-workers loved it b/c they hadn't had it before. This dish comes w/ white rice. EGGPLANT W/ GARLIC SAUCE - $6.90 My favorite - almost always a must-order when dining at authentic Chinese restaurants - my co-workers enjoyed this dish too. So much great flavor. The sauce is great on rice too. Oh and this version doesn't have pork bits so it's vegetarian-friendly :) Next time I'd like to try their Salt Pepper Squid, Spicy Fish Fillet and Mapo Tofu. FYI best parking option is the Purple Lot b/c it's in the same building. Parking is free up to 3 hrs. Also you can leave your dirty plates at the table - we were confused b/c we couldn't find trash bins and the Fan T'Asia staff told us they would pick up everything. And yes, clever restaurant name for The Battery ... although I can't help but think of American Idol, lol. We will be back for sure!

Mads B.

Yelp
When I went on a weekday at 1pm, three people weekend working the register. The older man took my order, and then did not know how to work the register. Honestly, I stood there handing him my money for 5 minutes, and he didn't know what to do. FINALLY one of the women helped him. I got the mapo tofu. The tofu was fine. The pork was tasty. But it was just served in grease - no sauce. Or maybe the grease was the sauce? Regardless it was not good.

Haley T.

Yelp
This place is located in the Ph'East area of the battery. Almost like a miniature food court with different kinds of Asian style restaurants. Fan T'Asia is specifically located on the left side, next to Kung Fu Tea. Fan T'Asia has a lot of options to choose from. Most of them being your typical Chinese fair. Sesame chicken, Kung Pao chicken, etc. I chose to order the orange chicken with fried rice. This cost me a little over $12 after tax. Not a bad deal for the amount of food they give you though. You go up to the counter, order your food, and then I just sat down at one of the tables and the person working there brought my food over once it was ready. The price is reasonable for the quantity of the food. I think the one thing that took me off guard a little bit was exactly how ORANGE the orange chicken was. If you're a fan of oranges, then this is definitely the chicken for you. They even had little pieces of mandarin oranges in the entree. I've had orange chicken plenty of times so I know how it typically is - normally there's just a slight orange flavor to the sauce. But this chicken tasted very much like oranges, too much so for my taste. But other than that it WAS full of flavor and pretty delicious so I'd definitely give some of their other food a try.

Rosalynd S.

Yelp
We were in the mood for Chinese so we figured we'd give this place a try. The food was below average and the service was even below that. We definitely won't be coming back.

Nancy N.

Yelp
Located inside the newly built food hall of the battery! Right next to the blue parking deck so an easy walking when it's cold! Love the fact that it's from the same peope that run Boba Garden, so I don't have to trek all the way to Buford Highway (BuHi) for walnut shrimp. The wings are great the walnut shrimp is a must and I had no issues with customer service! Also conveniently next to the new Kung Fu Tea location.

That R.

Yelp
I ordered the Kung Pao chicken. While it taste good, they did not provide a good portion of chicken. The dish was mostly vegetables. The chicken is the main attraction. I won't return for this reason.

Oksana D.

Yelp
Love these place! Looks like Asian food court. Always a great atmosphere. Usually I get Philly burrito from BURRI spot. But tonight decided to try FAN'TASIA. Next time definitely going back to BURRI.

Will M.

Yelp
Orange chicken was bland, gross and expensive. Fried rice had nearly no vegetables and tasted lower quality than Panda Express. It's kind of a stop in thing so service is not so important. Nice cafeteria.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Nothing like their parent restaurant, Bo Bo Garden on Buford Hwy. Everything seems to be premade & frozen that they just reheat. We ordered salt & pepper squid and walnut shrimp (more like steamed broccoli with a hint of shrimp and barely any sauce); both barely had any seasoning, as were the fried rice we got with them. I guess they can get away with this kind of quality in this neighborhood, truly disappointing...

Brianna C.

Yelp
First time visitor. I was really excited to walk in and see other customer's food look delicious. The employee happily recommended orange chicken. The sauce is good. The chicken is essentially flavorful, and I also think a few were still partly frozen. The fried rice is also very bland, maybe just rice tossed with a bit of soy sauce. I wouldn't recommend.

Jon H.

Yelp
Take your money elsewhere. My wife went here and threw her food away. Ate one bite and was disgusted. This place is straight robbery. Each stall is individually own so complaining to a manager was a waste of time.

Shevon M.

Yelp
YUM! I will admit, the first time I came to this Ph'east hall I walked around to see all the options. I saw this was Chinese *thinking* I can get this anywhere, walked away and went to another place I already knew and loved. 4 visits later and that other place was closed so we almost left but something told me to just try Fan T'Asia. OhEm Geeee... I knew not what I was missing! The flavor. Okay, so my friend and I ordered a few different items. Honey Pepper Chicken Wings - Great Wings with great flavor. Squid - it was good. Not number 1 but close. I would definitely order again. Mala Seafood - the reason for my initial Yum. I like it hot okay. The first bite was so good, but I thought I wanted more heat. Glad I did not add anything because the more I ate the hotter the food was. It came full with seafood like I was not missing anything. This dish gets a 10/10 Mapo Tofu - my friend ordered this. She said it tastes authentic. And she was singing about her plate as much as I was singing about mine. I tried it and it was very good. The food was prepared pretty quickly and the lady looked at us to make sure we were happy. I am writing this on a Tuesday and actually visited two Sundays ago. That should tell you how wonderful everything was as this is all coming from memory. The only thing I am sad about at this moment is that they are not open today because I would definitely go back. This is definitely not "normal" Chinese and no, you can't get this anywhere.

Jessica R.

Yelp
I love this restaurant location! So conveniently in the new stadium. It's connect with 3 other restaurants and 1 bar. It's inside and outside seating for you to seat yourself. It's a lot of room for big groups or very intimate for a date. Really good Asian style foods. I ordered the house lol Leon which was recommended by a friend so not my first choice but it was very good! Steak was cooked to perfect. The only reason I can't give this place a 5 star is because their prices are high but there cashiers are a little off. For the most part I really enjoyed this restaurant inside of ph'east at the braves stadium.

Kesha M.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp Lo mein. It was so bland, tasted like absolutely nothing! The shrimp was tinted and tasted like days old shrimp! One of the worst Chinese food I've eaten in a long time.

Tingting W.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday and got broccoli beef! The sauce on the dish was very delicious! The fried rice was a little bland but the sauce on the broccoli beef made up for it! If you want quick Chinese food and support a smaller business, for sure give this place a try! Always love supporting local Asian businesses :)

Rhonda J.

Yelp
Fan T'Asia is Fan"tastic" This food spot is definitely underrated but a must have! The food quality and counter top service is great. Food is flavorful and tasty. I've been back twice and didn't have any of the issues mentioned before this post. My first meal was beef and broccoli with white rice. The portion sizes were good, and the brown gravy was so good. I also tried the house fried rice tonight with shrimp, chicken and beef. Also very good. Tip: don't be afraid of the menu or brochure. Just ask the people at the register about what you want. They have always been very friendly.

Atlanta G.

Yelp
I got their curry chicken. I loved it!! I'll get it again. Love this place and the old lady who works there :)

Amanda M.

Yelp
My complaint is not about the food but lack of clarity on the menu. I ordered wonton soup. I am deathly allergic to shrimp but never was warned about there being shrimp in the wonton. No hint of that on the menu! My family's and I sat in fear with my epipen on the table waiting to see if I would have a reaction. Thankfully I didn't need it. Scariest hour of my life.

David R.

Yelp
Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered for delivery a sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice. The shrimp was just not good. The rice tasted like it was over cooked and days old. Horrible food, I won't be back.

April M.

Yelp
GET THE SALT PEPPER TOFU! Their tofu is super silky and delicious. The salt pepper crunch is perfect. Some of my other fav dishes include the pepper steak, hot n sour soup, general chicken and sweet n. Sour shrimp. The service is good (they will bring your food to the bar). I definitely order from there on a regular basis!

Kona M.

Yelp
Worst Asian food ever! Over cooked, spoiled/rotten shrimp and burnt sauce! Food was worst then mall food court quality. Will definitely NOT be back! Oh by the way, we had the shrimp lo mein and kung pow shrimp- nasty!

James N.

Yelp
Writing this based on the one meal I ate here. I ordered the General Tso chicken with fried rice. Definitely the best General Tso's I've had in the area. Living in the Battery for three years, I always said they needed a Chinese restaurant. The food and service are very good here. I'll be coming back

Matt C.

Yelp
Trying to support local businesses a lot lately so have this Ph'East food hall in the rotation. FanTasia is a step above food court Chinese but remains far from comparable to those restaurants that make tops-in-Atlanta lists, and several of those aren't too far from The Battery. Add in premium prices for being at the ballpark, which are hard to swallow as a local year round, and this pans out at 3 stars. An order of dumplings, an entree, and a drink runs close to $30, but could probably be shared by 2. Still, this isn't NYC...$3 for a can of Coke may be the most expensive 12oz. soft drink in America.

Andrew W.

Yelp
meh. Ordered the curry chicken. In the picture on the menu it shows yellow curry, I got brown curry. (yes there is a difference) It came out and photographed nice but it wasn't so exciting. While the broth was good the ingredients weren't. Inside there was eggplant, potatoes, chicken and cucumbers. None of them blended well. I think they took the ingredients and just tossed them in the brown sauce as i ordered it. They were not cooked together. The chicken and vegetables had no curry flavor. Don't get me started on the fried rice. Just look at it and think 'food court'. Not to say I wouldn't try the place again, just my order was lame

William A.

Yelp
I'll just say it. I and many others really miss the old management. No sense of urgency on my visit and essential fan favorites are missing from this newly destroyed menu. So disappointed

Gene G.

Yelp
Had the General Tso chicken. Chicken was extremely tough. Tasted like Panda Express. Like they microwaved the food or something. Doubt if I go back

Pete J.

Yelp
The bar here is absolutely amazing. Special shot out to Hussan the bartender he is beyond extraordinary. Hands down he gives the best atmosphere. Professional exciting quick just all around pleasant. Will definitely be coming back, just for him alone. The food here is fire as well so you're in good hands.

Sina M.

Yelp
I had a lot of options to choose from at PH'EAST but I'm glad I went to Fan T'ASIA. I got the general tso chicken with fried rice and an order of the spring rolls. It came out fast and hot and tasted delicious. Will definitely be going back

Andy Z.

Yelp
Fan T'asia is located inside the ph'east and is established by bobo garden. They have superb Chinese cuisines and taste just like the bobo garden in Doraville. The customer service was excellent and the salt and pepper squid was even better here than the original bobo garden. I would definitely give it a 5 stars.

A M.

Yelp
Delicious food and cashier is so friendly and helpful. Portions are pretty large for price, will be back for sure! So glad this place opened up at the Battery! FYI- Located INSIDE PH'EAST.

Dillon D.

Yelp
I very rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant was too mind blowing to pass up. I say this without a doubt; this is the best Chinese food I have ever had, hands down. This place is such a little gem. Even being in the battery, the prices are so reasonable. You also get a great portion. The sesame chicken came with a free upgrade of fried rice, that was better than normal Chinese food restaurants fried rice. Without a doubt, I will be back here very soon and I can't fucking wait. There is a full bar right next to it that just adds to the whole thing.

Jessica K.

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend and LOVED IT!!! The service was excellent and the food was even better!! Definitely would recommend this spot for anyone who's in the mood for authentic Asian cuisine! The environment is really clean and it's a nice place to sit and talk while enjoying great tasting food!!! 10/10 for sure!

Tsvetelina V.

Yelp
Ordered chicken curry! It was awful, the chicken was not fully cooked. It did not have a flavor of a curry. The sauce was not blended well. Would not eat here again.
