Stayed as part of touring the Garden Route & golf. |Luxurious feel to 2 bed suite we occupied with fire and heated bathroom floors welcomed with a couple of unseasonably chillier nights. Complementary caddie available with golf rounds for hotel guests (tipping recommended). |Fabulous spa and roman baths separate to leisure centre pool that had very well equipped gym. |Chose to sample restaurants in George mainly but pleasant casual evening meal at La Cantina one night. Nice trails <10k around the estate for walking, running & e-bike rentals. Highly recommend.

Wonderful and scenic place in the Western Cape. Amazing staff and service. Loved the porter system and their quick response time. Delicious food and that heated floor in the bathroom? Top tier! Would highly recommend.

The place Fancourt is stunning and close to the airport which is convenience for travelers. The scenery and the extensive landscape views of mountains and grass for the golf is absolutely beautiful. ||||I had good time and surely will be returning to retire at Fancourt.

Beautiful South African gem, we hosted the G20 Labour summit in this place everything was perfect. For future we must plan for emergency evacuation procedures inline with the number of guests, our international guests were satisfied by the hospitality. Well done Fancourt under difficult weather conditions on day 2.

We stayed at Fancourt from 8 to 10 August 2025 as a family of four – my wife, our son (4), our daughter (6 months), and myself – as part of a group booking. This was our third (or more) visit, and once again, Fancourt reminded us why it remains a benchmark for luxury hospitality in George.||⸻||Arrival & Welcome Lunch||We arrived just after noon to a warm welcome and were immediately invited to enjoy the lunch buffet. The spread was generous, with excellent quality dishes. Although seating was in high demand, we quickly found a table. The cozy indoor atmosphere and charming outdoor setting made it a perfect start to our stay.||⸻||Smooth Check-in & Exceptional House||Check-in was seamless, and we were escorted to our assigned house. From the moment we entered, we were struck by the breathtaking golf course view from the living room – a picture-perfect scene.||The living area was spacious, with a chimney, comfortable seating, and a smart TV connected to YouTube (a highlight for our son). The bedroom was large, spotless, and inviting, with a bed so spacious that three of us slept comfortably.||The bathroom featured both a bathtub and a shower with hot water available at all times. Our son especially enjoyed the bathtub. The house came with abundant linen, bottled water, a safe, and every detail thoughtfully provided.||On arrival, the house was already heated, creating a warm, welcoming environment. Everything felt fresh, meticulously clean, and well-maintained.||⸻||Personalised Touches||One of the hallmarks of Fancourt is its attention to detail. We were greeted with a personalised welcome letter for our children, complimentary wine for us, and chocolates labelled with our children’s names. On the second day, we were surprised with more chocolates, which delighted them. These small touches elevated the entire experience.||⸻||Kids Club & Activities||Our son absolutely loved the Kids Club, which offered a variety of activities throughout the day. One evening, the children enjoyed a cinema night complete with a special kids’ dinner. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly enjoyed working with children.||Below the Kids Club is a modern, spotless gym that opens at 06:00, fully equipped with a variety of well-maintained machines and weights, as well as a heated indoor pool.||Family recreation extended beyond the club – our children enjoyed mini-golf near reception, and cycling around the grounds offered spectacular views of the estate.||⸻||Dining Highlights||Dinner: The main restaurant served outstanding meals. The wine selection waa nice, the range of dishes wide and well-prepared, and the salads fresh and full of flavour. Service was polished, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive.||Breakfast: Breakfast was equally memorable. A highlight was the omelette with salmon – an unexpected and delicious treat. The fresh strawberries, likely from the nearby farm, were sweet and flavourful, adding a wonderful local touch.||⸻||Service Excellence||The staff at Fancourt excel at delivering genuine, attentive service. From porters, kitchen team and waiters to receptionists and Kids Club staff, every interaction was courteous and professional. Calls to reception were answered in under two seconds, which is rare even among top-tier hotels.||⸻||Grounds & Transport||The landscaping at Fancourt is breathtaking – manicured gardens, pristine fairways, and beautiful natural backdrops in every direction. The estate is large, but a club car service with a porter is available anytime with just a quick call, making it easy to move around.||⸻||Checkout & Final Thoughts||Checkout was fast and efficient, closing out another memorable Fancourt experience.||From the warm welcome and thoughtful in-room touches to the world-class dining, immaculate facilities, and truly personal service, Fancourt delivers a 5-star+++ experience that blends luxury, comfort, and family-friendly hospitality.||We will return again and highly recommend Fancourt to families, golf lovers, and anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in George

Our recent stay at Fancourt in George was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their genuine hospitality and warm nature instantly made us feel at home, even with the crisp winter air outside. The manager Fisani could do enough for us and sure our stay was extra special. The rooms were beautifully appointed, always cozy and warm thanks to the underfloor heating — such a treat on chilly evenings! We especially loved the fireplace, which we enjoyed every night, creating the perfect, comforting atmosphere. The cleanliness of the entire property was exceptional, and waking up to the breathtaking views every morning was an absolute delight. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic kids club. Our children had an amazing time riding bikes around the beautiful grounds and joining in on endless activities that kept them entertained all day long. It was wonderful to see them so happy and engaged, giving us parents some time to relax and unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was a true sanctuary. From the Roman baths to the steam room, plunge pool, and so much more, every moment spent there felt luxurious and rejuvenating. Food lovers will be in paradise at Fancourt. There are so many different restaurants to choose from, each offering a variety of delicious options that cater to every taste. Every meal we had was memorable, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Zane was so kind and thoughtful. Overall, Fancourt is a perfect blend of luxury, warmth, and family-friendly fun. Whether you’re looking to relax at the spa, explore the beautiful grounds with your kids, or indulge in world-class dining, this is a place that truly has it all. We can’t wait to return!

I would give Fancourt 10 ********* everything was perfect , from reception, to the room, Staff is friend and always helpful with a smile, Spa is out of this world, the food presentations, cleanliness of the whole premidses , room presentation is also great, I honestly was not ready to go home when it was checkout time. I am definately going back soon.
