Fancy Burger

Delicious burgers. I got the Classic Cheese Burger 🍔 The buns are hand crafted by them! My neice got the Heirloom Caprese Burger, definitely delicious 😋 Their fries stay crispy, even after they are cold. The rosemary fries and the sweet potato fries are so delicious! Fry sauce is awesome. The family running this joint are super decent and friendly. Thanks for the delicious dinner! The homemade cookies were delicious also!

Fancy Burger is absolutely fantastic! It’s hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment you get there. Service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. Every bite of the burger & fries were delicious, and the overall experience was just wonderful. Highly recommend it!

Some of the best burgers I’ve ever had! They handmade their buns, smash their burgers and have fresh produce. So perfect and delicious. The fries are also delicious. They are renovating their building so it’s in a good truck right now but there is seating under a canopy. The service is helpful and friendly!

I have never written a review for a restaurant in my life. If I could give 10 stars I would. #1 The food is AMAZING. It is the best burger I have ever had in my life, hands down. The smash burger meat is perfect, the bun is a Japanese milk bun and is the perfect combination of doughy and fluffy. All their ingredients are premium. The brunch bacon is out of this world. If you care about healthy food as I do, then you should know they do not cook their fries in seed oils. They use beef tallow. Their bacon is also nitrate free. You can tell when a restaurant is thoughtful about every element and this establishment is. I’m worried about the secret getting out how amazing this place is but I had to give a review to support such a great local business.

During the time the restaurant is getting built, you can order outside from the food truck and sit in the grassy area under shade from the trees and look at the beautiful mountains across the way. There's tables and chairs and it's really quite heavenly. I love the burrata salad.

Pretty good. Definitely a “fancy” burger. Gold foil on the bun. Steak frites were good, steak wasn’t very tender but still good. The burger we got was very good, the apple was nice with the onion and feta, but it was pretty rich and not much flavor variation. We shared the burger and even half of one I got kind of bored from the flavors.

I think Fancy Burger would be appropriately rated at 4.4. It’s a good burger trying to be an Utah version of an Au Cheval restaurant which is a noble goal. But truthfully it isn’t there yet. Here are a few notes and suggestions for what to do and expect here: 1) Expect it to be loud on the weekends. The idea of a dark moody club with a piano and sax is fun, but it’s very loud and hard to hear (even if the music is a lively, lovely jazz). 2) don’t get the fancy burger special. I don’t mind paying $30 for a good burger, in fact in my travels and reviews I do it often. I’ll gladly splurge for a Peter Luger burger in Brooklyn, Asllani’s Corner in Interlaken Switzerland, or Au Cheval in Chicago. But here the quality of the meat just isn’t on par, nor quite seasoned right to charge that amount. Instead, stick with the Classic Burger here and don’t worry about the add-ons. The price for the burger at that point is reasonable and worth getting. 3) The fries are good…but 4 of our 5 orders on Saturday night came out cold (yes…cold, not just room temperature). But the fry sauce is tasty. 4) Get a salad. The beet and grapefruit salad was good. And finally an important note about getting a reservation here. For large parties they won’t sit you together in all likelihood. We made a reservation for 11 people. When we arrived they informed us that our group would be split up on two tables. Felt very much like a bait and switch. You should inform a party if their reserved number can’t be accommodated at one table or group of connected tables. I wouldn’t recommend any group larger than 6 here. Our server was incredibly kind and responsive though and we appreciated her attentiveness and patience when we had a couple of people in our party that were late. Suggestion to the restaurant: mark your menu with food allergies.

I need to be careful to not oversell this place. I love burgers. This place has the best burgers around. Their blended beef patty kills! The fancy burger we had (Bourbon and Bacon) was better than Lucky 13. The classic was the best basic cheeseburger I’ve ever had. So there it is. Go there. Enjoy the live music. Enjoy the amazing burgers.
